Psalms 110

1 Yahweh said to my lord [the king], “Sit [here], close to me, in the place of highest honor [MTY] until I [completely defeat] your enemies [MET] [and] make [them like] a stool for your feet!”

Ðức Giê-hô-va phán cùng Chúa tôi rằng: Hãy ngồi bên hữu ta, Cho đến chừng ta đặt kẻ thù nghịch ngươi làm bệ chơn cho ngươi.

2 Yahweh [also said to him], “I will extend your power as king from Jerusalem [to other lands]; you will rule over all your enemies.

Ðức Giê-hô-va từ Si-ôn sẽ sai đến cây phủ việt về sự năng lực ngươi; Hãy cai trị giữa các thù nghịch ngươi.

3 On the day that you lead your armies into battle, many of your people will volunteer [to join your army]. Like the dew refreshes the earth early in the morning, young men will [encourage you by] coming to help you.”

Trong ngày quyền thế Chúa, dân Chúa tình nguyện lại đến; Những kẻ trẻ tuổi ngươi mặc trang sức thánh cũng đến cùng ngươi Như giọt sương bởi lòng rạng đông mà ra.

4 Yahweh has made a solemn promise, and he will never change his mind; he has said to the king, “You will be a priest forever [serving Yahweh] like Melchizedek did.”

Ðức Giê-hô-va đã thề, không hề đổi ý, rằng: Ngươi là thầy tế lễ đời đời, Tùy theo ban Mên-chi-xê-đéc.

5 Yahweh stands [in the place of highest honor] your right side; when he becomes angry, he will defeat [many kings].

Chúa ở bên hữu ngươi Sẽ chà nát các vua trong ngày Ngài nổi giận.

6 He will judge and punish the people of [many] nations; he will fill the land with their corpses. He will crush the heads of other kings all over the earth.

7 But my lord the king will drink from streams near the road; he will be refreshed after defeating his enemies.
