Psalms 110

1 Yahweh said to my lord [the king], “Sit [here], close to me, in the place of highest honor [MTY] until I [completely defeat] your enemies [MET] [and] make [them like] a stool for your feet!”

Zoti i thotë Zotërisë time: “Ulu në të djathtën time deri sa t’i bëj armiqtë e tu stol të këmbëve të tua”.

2 Yahweh [also said to him], “I will extend your power as king from Jerusalem [to other lands]; you will rule over all your enemies.

Zoti do ta shtrijë nga Sioni skeptrin e fuqisë sate. Ai sundon në mes të armiqve të tu.

3 On the day that you lead your armies into battle, many of your people will volunteer [to join your army]. Like the dew refreshes the earth early in the morning, young men will [encourage you by] coming to help you.”

Populli yt do të afrohet vullnetarisht ditën e pushtetit tënd; në madhështinë e shenjtërisë, nga gjiri i agimit, ti do të kesh vesën e rinisë sate.

4 Yahweh has made a solemn promise, and he will never change his mind; he has said to the king, “You will be a priest forever [serving Yahweh] like Melchizedek did.”

Zoti është betuar dhe nuk do të pendohet: “Ti je prift përjetë sipas urdhërit të Melkisedekut”.

5 Yahweh stands [in the place of highest honor] your right side; when he becomes angry, he will defeat [many kings].

Zoti është në të djathtën tënde. Ai ka për të zhdukur disa mbretër ditën e zemërimit të tij.

6 He will judge and punish the people of [many] nations; he will fill the land with their corpses. He will crush the heads of other kings all over the earth.

Ai do të gjykojë kombet, do t’i mbushë me kufoma dhe do të zhdukë qeveritarët e pjesës më të madhe të tokës.

7 But my lord the king will drink from streams near the road; he will be refreshed after defeating his enemies.

Rrugës do të pijë ujë nga përroi dhe si pasojë do të ngrerë kokën.
