Numbers 2
1 Then Yahweh said this to Aaron and Moses/me:
E falou o Senhor a Moisés e a Aarão, dizendo:
2 “When the Israelis set up their tents, they should set them up in areas that surround the Sacred Tent, but not close to it. The people of each tribe must set up their tents in a different area. Each tribe must erect in that area a banner of their own clan and a flag that represents their tribe.
Os filhos de Israel assentarão as suas tendas, cada um debaixo da sua bandeira, segundo as insígnias da casa de seus pais; ao redor, defronte da tenda da congregação, assentarão as suas tendas.
3 The people of the tribes of Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun must set up their tents on the east side of the Sacred Tent, close to their tribal flags. These are the names of the leaders of those tribes and the number of soldiers whom they will lead: Nahshon, the son of Amminadab, will be the leader of the 74,600 men of the tribe of Judah.
Os que assentarem as suas tendas da banda do oriente para o nascente serão os da bandeira do exército de Judá, segundo os seus esquadrões, e Naasson, filho de Amminadab, será príncipe dos filhos de Judá.
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles, foram setenta e quatro mil e seiscentos.
5 Nethanel, the son of Zuar, will be the leader of the 54,500 men of the tribe of Issachar.
E junto a ele assentará as suas tendas a tribo de issacar, e Nathanael, filho de Suhar, será príncipe dos filhos de issacar.
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles, foram cincoênta e quatro mil e quatrocentos.
7 Eliab, the son of Helon, will be the leader of the 57,400 men of the tribe of Zebulun.
Depois a tribo de Zebulon; e Eliab, filho de Helon, será príncipe dos filhos de Zebulon.
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles, foram cincoênta e sete mil e quatrocentos.
9 So there will be 86,400 troops on the east side [of the Sacred Tent]. Whenever the Israelis move to a new location, those three tribes must go in front of the others.
Todos os que foram contados do exército de Judá, cento e oitenta e seis mil e quatrocentos, segundo os seus esquadrões, estes marcharão os primeiros.
10 The tribes of Reuben, Simeon, and Gad must set up their tents on the south side of the Sacred Tent, close to their tribal flags. These are the names of the leaders of those tribes and the number of men whom they will lead: Elizur, the son of Shedeur, will be the leader of the 46,500 men of the tribe of Reuben.
A bandeira do exército de Ruben, segundo os seus esquadrões, estará para a banda do sul: e Eliasur, filho de Sedeur, será príncipe dos filhos de Ruben.
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles foram quarenta e seis mil e quinhentos.
12 Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai, will be the leader of the 59,300 men of the tribe of Simeon.
E junto a ele assentará as suas tendas a tribo de Simeão; e Selumiel, filho de Surisaddai, será príncipe dos filhos de Simeão.
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles, foram cincoênta e nove mil e trezentos.
14 Eliasaph, the son of Deuel, will be the leader of the 45,650 men of the tribe of Gad.
Depois a tribo de Gad; e Eliasaph, filho de Rehuel, será príncipe dos filhos de Gad.
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles, foram quarenta e cinco mil e seiscentos e cincoênta.
16 So there will be 151,450 troops on the south side of the Sacred Tent. Those three tribes will follow the first group [when the Israelis travel].
Todos os que foram contados no exército de Ruben foram cento e cincoênta e um mil e quatrocentos e cincoênta, segundo os seus esquadrões: e estes marcharão, os segundos.
17 Behind that group will walk the descendants of Levi, who will carry the Sacred Tent. The Israelis will march in the same order that they always set up their tents. Each tribe will carry its own flag.
Então partirá a tenda da congregação com o exército dos levitas no meio dos exércitos: como assentaram as suas tendas, assim marcharão, cada um no seu lugar, segundo as suas bandeiras.
18 The tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin must set up their tents on the west side of the Sacred Tent, close to their tribal flags. These are the names of the leaders of those tribes and number of men whom they will lead: Elishama, the son of Ammihud, will be the leader of the 40,500 men of the tribe of Ephraim.
A bandeira do exército de Ephraim, segundo os seus esquadrões, estará para a banda do ocidente; e Elisama, filho de Ammihud, será príncipe dos filhos de Ephraim.
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles, foram quarenta mil e quinhentos.
20 Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur, will be the leader of the 32,200 men of the tribe of Manasseh.
E junto a ele a tribo de Manasseh: e Gamaliel, filho de Pedazur, será príncipe dos filhos de Manasseh.
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles, foram trinta e dois mil e duzentos.
22 Abidan, the son of Gideoni, will be the leader of the 35,400 men of the tribe of Benjamin.
Depois a tribo de Benjamin: e Abidan, filho de Gideoni, será príncipe dos filhos de Benjamin,
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles, foram trinta e cinco mil e quatrocentos.
24 So there will be 108,100 troops on the west side of the Sacred Tent. Those three tribes will follow the second group, [behind the descendants of Levi].
Todos os que foram contados no exército de Ephraim foram cento e oito mil e cem, segundo os seus esquadrões: e estes marcharão os terceiros.
25 The tribes of Dan, Asher, and Naphtali must set up their tents on the north side of the Sacred Tent, close to their tribal flags. These are the names of the leaders of those tribes and the number of men whom they will lead: Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai, will be the leader of the 62,700 men of the tribe of Dan.
A bandeira do exército de Dan estará para o norte, segundo os seus esquadrões: e Ahiezer, filho de Ammisaddai, será príncipe dos filhos de Dan.
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles, foram sessenta e dois mil e setecentos.
27 Pagiel, the son of Ocran, will be the leader of the 41,500 men of the tribe of Asher.
E junto a ele assentará as suas tendas a tribo de Aser: e Pagiel, filho de Ochran, será príncipe dos filhos de Aser.
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles, foram quarenta e um mil e quinhentos.
29 Ahira, the son of Enan, will be the leader of the 53,400 men of the tribe of Naphtali.
Depois a tribo de Naphtali: e Ahira, filho de Enan, será príncipe dos filhos de Naphtali.
E o seu exército, e os que foram contados deles, foram cincoênta e três mil e quatrocentos.
31 So there will be 157,600 troops on the north side of the Sacred Tent. Those three tribes will be last. They must carry their own flags when the Israelis travel.”
Todos os que foram contados no exército de Dan foram cento e cincoênta e sete mil e seiscentos: estes marcharão no último lugar, segundo as suas bandeiras.
32 So there were 603,550 Israeli men who were able to fight who were listed according to their families’ ancestors.
Estes são os que foram contados dos filhos de Israel, segundo a casa de seus pais: todos os que foram contados dos exércitos pelos seus esquadrões foram seiscentos e três mil e quinhentos e cincoênta.
33 But just as Yahweh had commanded, the names of the descendants of Levi were not included.
Mas os levitas não foram contados entre os filhos de Israel, como o Senhor ordenara a Moisés.
34 The Israelis did everything that Yahweh had told Moses/me. They set up their tents close to their tribal flags, and when they traveled [to a new location, they walked] with their own clans and family groups.
E os filhos de Israel fizeram conforme a tudo o que o Senhor ordenara a Moisés; assim assentaram o arraial segundo as suas bandeiras, e assim marcharam, cada qual segundo as suas gerações, segundo a casa de seus pais.
