1 While Moses/I was [standing near the entrance] to the Sacred Tent, Yahweh called to him/me from inside the tent. He said to Moses/me,
Awo Mukama n’ayita Musa, n’ayogera naye ng’asinziira mu Weema ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu. N’amulagira nti,
2 “Tell this to the Israeli people: ‘When any of you brings an offering to Yahweh, bring one of your sheep or goats or cattle.
“Yogera n’abaana ba Isirayiri obagambe nti, ‘Omuntu yenna mu mmwe bw’aneeteesanga okuleeta ekiweebwayo eri Mukama, anaaleetanga ekiweebwayo kya nte ng’agiggya mu kiraalo kye, oba endiga oba embuzi ng’agiggya mu kisibo kye.’
3 ‘If what you are offering is a bull that will be completely burned [on the altar], it must not have any defects. You must take it to the entrance to the Sacred Tent, in order that it will be acceptable to Yahweh.
“Ekiweebwayo bwe kinaabanga ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa nga kiva mu kiraalo ky’ente, anaawangayo seddume etaliiko kamogo. Anaagyereeteranga n’agiweerayo ku mulyango gwa Weema ya Mukama ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu, kiryoke kikkirizibwe eri Mukama.
4 You must lay your hands on the head of the bull. When you do that, Yahweh will accept [its death in your place] to forgive/pardon you for the sins that you have committed.
Omuntu aleese ekiweebwayo ekyo ekyokebwa anaakwatanga omutwe gwakyo, era kinakkirizibwanga ku lulwe kiryoke kimutangiririre olw’ebibi bye.
5 You must slaughter the bull in front of Yahweh. Then Aaron’s sons, who are priests, will bring the blood and sprinkle it against all sides of the altar near the entrance to the Sacred Tent.
Seddume eyo anaagittiranga mu maaso ga Mukama; era batabani ba Alooni, bakabona, banaddiranga omusaayi gwayo ne baguwaayo eri Mukama nga bagumansira ku kyoto okwebungulula enjuuyi zonna ez’ekyoto ekiri awo okumpi n’omulyango gwa Weema ya Mukama ey’Okukuŋŋaanirangamu.
6 You must remove the skin of the animal and cut the animal into pieces. You must wash the inner parts and the legs of the bull.
Awo ekiweebwayo ekyo ekyokebwa anaakibaagangako eddiba, n’akitemaatemamu ebifi.
7 Then Aaron’s sons will put wood on the altar and light a fire.
Batabani ba Alooni, kabona, banaakumanga omuliro mu kyoto, ne batindikira bulungi enku ku muliro ogwo.
8 Then they will arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, on the burning wood.
Awo batabani ba Alooni, bakabona, banaategekanga bulungi ebifi ebyo, nga n’omutwe n’amasavu babitaddeko; banaabissanga ku nku ezikoledde omuliro ku kyoto.
9 Then one of the priests will completely burn all of it on the altar. And the aroma will be pleasing to Yahweh.
Eyaleese ekiweebwayo ekyo anaanaazanga n’amazzi eby’omu lubuto n’amagulu; ebyo byonna kabona anaabyokyanga ku kyoto ng’ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa, ekyokeddwa mu muliro ne kivaamu evvumbe eddungi erisanyusa Mukama.
10 ‘If you are offering a sheep or a goat, it must be a male without any defect.
“Ekinaaleetebwanga okuba ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa bwe kinaavanga mu kisibo, oba ndiga oba mbuzi, omuntu oyo anaawangayo ennume etaliiko kamogo.
11 You must slaughter it in front of Yahweh, on the north side of the altar, [and drain all the blood into a bowl]. Then Aaron’s sons will sprinkle the blood against all sides of the altar.
Anaagittiranga ku luuyi olwakkono olw’ekyoto mu maaso ga Mukama, era batabani ba Alooni, bakabona, banaamansiranga omusaayi gwayo ku njuyi zonna ez’ekyoto okukyebungulula.
12 You must cut the animal into pieces. You must wash the inner parts and the legs of the animal. Then the priests will arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, on the burning wood.
Anaagitemaatemangamu ebifi; era kabona anaategekanga bulungi ebifi ebyo, nga n’omutwe n’amasavu abitaddeko, n’abissa ku nku ezikoledde omuliro ku kyoto.
13 Then one of the priests will take all of it and completely burn all of it on the altar. And the aroma as it burns will be pleasing to Yahweh.
Eyaleese ekiweebwayo ekyo anaanaazanga n’amazzi eby’omu lubuto n’amagulu; ebyo byonna kabona anaabiwangayo, n’abyokya ku kyoto, nga kye kiweebwayo ekyokebwa ekyokeddwa mu muliro, ne kivaamu evvumbe eddungi erisanyusa Mukama.
14 ‘If what you are offering to Yahweh is a bird, you must offer a dove or a young pigeon.
“Ekiweebwayo ekyokebwa eri Mukama bwe kinaabanga eky’ennyonyi, omuntu anaaleetanga ekiweebwayo eky’amayiba oba eky’enjiibwa ento.
15 The priest will take it to the altar and wring/twist off its head. Then he will burn the head on the altar. He will drain out the bird’s blood onto the side of the altar.
Kabona anaaleetanga ennyonyi eyo ku kyoto n’aginyoola omutwe n’agukutulako, n’agwokya ku kyoto; omusaayi gwayo anaagukenenuliranga mu mbiriizi z’ekyoto.
16 Then he will remove the bird’s (craw/food-grinding pouch) and what is inside it, and throw it on the east side of the altar, where the ashes are thrown.
Anaagiggyangamu ekisakiro kyayo n’ebikirimu, n’akisuula ku ludda olw’ebuvanjuba olw’ekyoto mu kifo awayiyibwa evvu.
17 Then he will grasp the bird’s wings and partially tear the bird open. Then he will burn it completely in the fire on the altar. And the aroma will be pleasing to Yahweh.’
Anaagikwatanga ebiwaawaatiro n’agiyuza; kyokka taagiryebulirengamu ddala. Anaagyokeranga ku nku ezikoledde omuliro mu kyoto; nga kye kiweebwayo ekyokebwa ekyokeddwa mu muliro ne kivaamu evvumbe eddungi erisanyusa Mukama.
