Job 42
1 Then Job replied to Yahweh. [He said],
அதின்பின் யோபு யெகோவாவுக்கு மறுமொழியாக சொன்னதாவது:
2 “I know that you can do everything and that no one can stop you from doing what you want to do.
“உம்மால் எல்லாம் செய்யமுடியும் என்று நான் அறிவேன்; உமது திட்டம் ஒன்றும் தடைபடமாட்டாது.
3 [You asked me], ‘(Who are you, who by speaking ignorantly, question what I plan to do?/You have no right to question what I plan to do by speaking ignorantly.)’ [RHQ] It is true that I spoke about things that I did not understand, things that are very wonderful/marvelous, and therefore I am not able to know them.
‘அறிவில்லாமல் எனது ஆலோசனையை மறைக்கிறவன் யார்?’ என நீர் கேட்டீரே; உண்மையாக நான் எனக்கு விளங்காதவற்றையும், என் அறிவுக்கெட்டாத புதுமையான காரியங்களையும் குறித்துப் பேசினேனே.
4 You said to me, ‘Listen while I talk to you. I want to ask you some questions, so prepare yourself to answer them.’
“நீர் என்னிடம், ‘நான் பேசுகிறேன், இப்பொழுது நீ கேள்’ என்றும்; ‘நான் கேட்கும் கேள்விகளுக்கு பதில் சொல்லவேண்டும்’ என்றும் சொன்னீரே.
5 I had heard about you previously, but now [it is as though] I have seen you with my own eyes.
உம்மைப்பற்றி என் காதுகள் கேட்டிருந்தன; இப்பொழுதோ என் கண்களே உம்மைக் கண்டிருக்கின்றன.
6 Therefore I (am ashamed of/withdraw) what I said, and I sit in dust and ashes to show that I am sorry [for what I said].”
ஆகையால் நான் என்னை வெறுத்து, தூசியிலும் சாம்பலிலும் இருந்து மனந்திரும்புகிறேன்.”
7 After Yahweh said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz, “I am angry with you and your two friends, [Bildad and Zophar], because what my servant Job said about me was right/true, but what you have spoken about me was not right/true.
யெகோவா யோபுவுடன் இவற்றைப் பேசி முடித்தபின்பு தேமானியனான எலிப்பாசிடம் பேசினார். “நான் உன்மீதும், உன் இரண்டு நண்பர்கள்மீதும் கோபமாயிருக்கிறேன். ஏனெனில் எனது அடியவன் யோபு பேசியதுபோல நீங்கள் என்னைப்பற்றிச் சரியானவற்றைப் பேசவில்லை.
8 So now you must take to Job seven young bulls and seven rams and [kill them and] burn them on the altar as a sacrifice for yourselves. Then Job will pray for you, and I will do what he requests me to do, [and I will forgive you for speaking wrongly about me]. I will not punish you, even though you deserve to be punished, because what you said about me was not right/true, but what Job said about me was right/true.”
ஆகையால் இப்பொழுது நீங்கள் ஏழு காளைகளையும் ஏழு செம்மறியாட்டுக் கடாக்களையும் எடுத்துக்கொண்டு என் அடியவன் யோபுவிடம் போய், உங்களுக்காகத் தகனபலியிடுங்கள். எனது அடியவன் யோபு உங்களுக்காக வேண்டுதல் செய்வான். நான் அவன் வேண்டுதலைக் கேட்டு, உங்கள் மூடத்தனத்திற்குத்தக்கதாக நான் உங்களைத் தண்டிக்கமாட்டேன். என் அடியவன் யோபு என்னைப்பற்றிச் சரியானதைப் பேசியதுபோல நீங்கள் பேசவில்லை” என்றார்.
9 So Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar did what Yahweh commanded them to do, and Yahweh did what Job requested him to do [for the three of them].
எனவே தேமானியனான எலிப்பாஸ், சூகியனான பில்தாத், நாகமாத்தியனான சோப்பார் ஆகியோர் யெகோவா சொன்னபடியே செய்தார்கள். யோபுவின் வேண்டுதலை யெகோவா ஏற்றுக்கொண்டார்.
10 After Job prayed for his three friends, Yahweh [healed him and] caused him to become rich again. Yahweh gave him twice as many things as he had before.
யோபு தன் நண்பர்களுக்காக வேண்டுதல் செய்தபின், யெகோவா அவனுக்கு முன்பு இருந்தவற்றைப்போல், இருமடங்கு அதிகமான செல்வத்தைக் கொடுத்து, திரும்பவும் அவனைச் செல்வந்தனாக்கினார்.
11 Then all his brothers and sisters, and all the people who had known him before, came to his house, and they ate a meal together. They consoled/comforted [DOU] him because of all the troubles that Yahweh had allowed him to experience.
அப்பொழுது யோபுவின் சகோதரர்களும், சகோதரிகளும், முன்பு அவனை அறிந்திருந்த அனைவரும் அவனுடைய வீட்டிற்கு வந்து அவனோடு விருந்து சாப்பிட்டார்கள். அத்துடன் அவர்கள் யெகோவா அவன்மேல் கொண்டுவந்த எல்லாத் துன்பங்களுக்காகவும், அவனைத் தேற்றி ஆறுதலளித்தார்கள். ஒவ்வொருவரும் பணத்தையும், ஒரு தங்கமோதிரத்தையும் யோபுவுக்குக் கொடுத்தார்கள்.
12 Then Yahweh blessed Job in the second half of his life more than he had blessed him in the first half of his life. He now acquired/owned 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 2,000 oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.
யெகோவா யோபுவின் பிற்கால வாழ்க்கையை, அவனுடைய ஆரம்ப நாட்களைவிட அதிகமாக ஆசீர்வதித்தார். அவனுக்கு பதினாலாயிரம் செம்மறியாடுகளும் ஆறாயிரம் ஒட்டகங்களும், ஆயிரம் நுகம் பூட்டும் எருதுகளும், ஆயிரம் கழுதைகளும் இருந்தன.
13 And he also had seven [more] sons and three [more] daughters.
மேலும் ஏழு மகன்களும், மூன்று மகள்களும் பிறந்தார்கள்.
14 He named the first daughter Jemimah, he named the second daughter Keziah, and he named the third daughter Keren-Happuch.
அவன் தன் மூத்த மகளுக்கு எமீமாள் என்றும், இரண்டாம் மகளுக்கு கெத்சீயாள் என்றும், மூன்றாம் மகளுக்கு கேரேன்-ஆப்புக் என்றும் பெயரிட்டான்.
15 In all of [Uz] land there were no young women who were as beautiful as the daughters of Job, and Job declared that they would inherit some of his possessions, just like their brothers would inherit some.
நாடெங்கிலும் யோபுவின் மகள்களைப்போல் அழகான பெண்கள் யாரும் இருந்ததில்லை. அவர்களுடைய தகப்பன் அவர்களுக்கு அவர்கள் சகோரதர்களுடன் உரிமைச்சொத்துக்களைக் கொடுத்தான்.
16 After that, Job lived 140 more years. Before he died, he (saw/enjoyed being with) his great-great-grandchildren.
இவைகளுக்குப் பின்பு யோபு நூற்று நாற்பது வருடங்கள் உயிர் வாழ்ந்தான்; அவன் தன் பிள்ளைகளையும் பிள்ளைகளின் பிள்ளைகளையும் நான்காம் தலைமுறைவரைக் கண்டான்.
17 He was very old [DOU] when he died.
இவ்வாறாக யோபு வயதாகி நீண்ட நாட்கள் வாழ்ந்து இறந்தான்.
