Job 13

1 “Hey, I [SYN] have seen everything [that you have seen], and I have heard and understood all [that you have said].

“ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದೆ; ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿ ಕೇಳಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ.

2 What you know, I also know; I do (not know less than/know as much as) you.

ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾನೂ ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಾನು ನಿಮಗಿಂತ ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾದವನಲ್ಲ.

3 But I would like to speak to Almighty God, [not to you]; I would like to argue with him [and prove that I (am innocent/have not done things that are wrong]).

ನಾನು ಸರ್ವಶಕ್ತರ ಸಂಗಡ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವೆನು; ದೇವರ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾದಿಸಲು ನನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸುಂಟು.

4 As for you, you do not allow people to know the truth about me, like someone covers [up a bad surface of a wall] with whitewash [MET]. You are all like doctors [MET] [that give people] useless [medicines].

ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಸುಳ್ಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವವರು; ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ವ್ಯರ್ಥ ವೈದ್ಯರೇ.

5 I wish/desire that you would be silent; that would be the wisest thing that you [could do].

ನೀವು ಮೌನವಾಗಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಒಳ್ಳೇದು; ಮೌನವೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವು.

6 Listen to what I will say to you now; listen while I am saying [what is true about myself].

ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ವಾದವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳ ತರ್ಕಗಳನ್ನು ಆಲೈಸಿರಿ.

7 Are you telling lies about me to prove God [is just in causing me to suffer]? Are you saying what is deceitful in order to benefit him?

ದೇವರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತಾಡುವ ನೀವು ಅನ್ಯಾಯದಿಂದ ಮಾತಾಡುವಿರೋ? ದೇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾತಾಡುವ ನೀವು ವಂಚನೆಯಿಂದ ಮಾತಾಡುವಿರೋ?

8 Are you trying to defend him? Are you trying to prove [as you would] in a court that he is innocent?

ನೀವು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತವನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸುವಿರೋ? ದೇವರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ನೀವು ವಾದಿಸುವಿರೋ?

9 If he looks closely, will he find that everything that you have done is good? Or can you deceive him, like you deceive other people?

ದೇವರು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸಿದರೆ, ಅದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದೋ? ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ನೀವೂ ದೇವರನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸುವಿರೋ?

10 If you secretly say/do things to cause God to act favorably toward you, he will surely rebuke you.

ನೀವು ರಹಸ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತಮಾಡಿದರೂ, ದೇವರು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸುವರು.

11 He will certainly [RHQ] cause you to be terrified by his power/greatness; you will become extremely afraid.

ದೇವರ ವೈಭವವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ದೈವಭಯವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

12 The things that you say [that you think are] wise are [as useless as] [MET] as ashes; what you say to defend your opinions is no better than [MET] clay [that quickly crumbles].

ನಿಮ್ಮ ನೀತಿವಚನಗಳು ಬೂದಿಯ ಗಾದೆಗಳು; ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಾದಗಳು ಬರೀ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಗೋಡೆಯೇ.

13 “So, be quiet and allow me to speak, and then it will not matter what happens to me.

“ಸುಮ್ಮನಿರಿ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಬಿಡಿರಿ; ನನಗೇನಾದರೂ ಆಗಲಿ.

14 I am ready to endure anything; I am [even] willing to risk being executed [IDM, DOU] [for what I will say].

ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಕಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆನು; ನನ್ನ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆನು.

15 If God kills me, then I will not have anyone else whom I can confidently expect to help me, but I am going to defend my behavior in his presence [anyway].

ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದರೂ, ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಿಂದಿರುವೆನು; ನಾನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ನಡತೆಯ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯತನವನ್ನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವೆನು.

16 No wicked/godless person would dare to stand in the presence of God, [but because I say that I have not done things that are wrong], perhaps, if I can prove that to God, he will save me.”

ಇದೇ ನನ್ನ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರುವುದು; ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನರು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಬರಲು ಧೈರ್ಯಮಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

17 “God, listen very carefully to what I say [DOU].

ನನ್ನ ನುಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ದೃಢ ವಚನವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಿವಿಗೆ ಬೀಳಲಿ.

18 I am ready to prove that I am innocent, and I know that you also will declare that I am not guilty.

ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಕ್ರಮಪಡಿಸಿದೆನು; ನಾನು ನೀತಿವಂತನೆಂದು ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಹೊಂದುವುದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತೇ ಇದೆ.

19 I certainly do not think [RHQ] that [you or anyone else] will say that what I say is not true; if anyone did that, I would (be silent/stop talking) and die.

ಯಾರಾದರೂ ನನ್ನ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದೂರನ್ನು ತರಬಹುದೋ? ಹಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ನಾನು ಮೌನವಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ತು ಹೋಗುವೆನು.

20 “I am requesting you to do two things for me; if you do them, I will (not hide from you/come and stand in front of you) [LIT].

“ದೇವರೇ, ಈ ಎರಡು ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನನಗೆ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಿರಿ; ಆಗ ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ನಾನು ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲ:

21 [The first thing that I request is that you] stop punishing [IDM] me; and [the second thing that I request is that you] stop causing me to be very terrified.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೈಯನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ದೂರಮಾಡಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಭಯವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆದರಿಸದಿರಲಿ.

22 You speak [first], and then I will reply; or allow me to speak first, and [then] you reply.

ಆಮೇಲೆ ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೆದರೆ, ನಾನು ಉತ್ತರಿಸುವೆನು; ಅಥವಾ ನಾನು ಮಾತಾಡಿದರೆ, ನೀವು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡಿರಿ.

23 What have I done that is wrong? What sins have I committed? Show me how I have disobeyed you.

ನಾನು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನೂ, ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನನ್ನ ಅಪರಾಧವನ್ನೂ, ಪಾಪವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿಕೊಡಿರಿ.

24 Why (do you refuse to be friendly with/have you abandoned) me [IDM]? Why do you (act toward me as though I am/consider me to be) your enemy?

ಏಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ಮರೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಶತ್ರುವಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಏಕೆ ಭಾವಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ?

25 I am [as insignificant as] [MET] a leaf that is blown by the wind; why are you trying to cause me to be afraid [RHQ]? Why are you pursuing me? Am I [useless, nothing more than a bit of] dry chaff [RHQ]?

ಗಾಳಿಯಿಂದ ಹಾರಿಹೋಗುವ ಎಲೆಯನ್ನು ತೊಂದರೆಪಡಿಸುವಿರೋ? ಒಣಗಿದ ಕೊಳೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆನ್ನಟ್ಟುವಿರೋ?

26 [It seems that] you are writing things to accuse me [of doing things that are wrong], even recalling bad things that I did when I was young.

ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕಹಿಯಾದ ತೀರ್ಪನ್ನು ನೀವು ಬರೆದಿರುವಿರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಯೌವನದ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿರುವಿರಿ.

27 [It is as though] you have fastened my feet with chains [to prevent me from walking], and you watch me wherever I walk; [It is as though] you even look closely at my footprints [to see where I have gone].

ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಕೋಲೆಗಳಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿಹಾಕಿದ್ದೀರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಪಾದಗಳ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಗುರುತು ಹಾಕಿದ್ದೀರಿ; ನನ್ನ ಹಾದಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯವಿಟ್ಟು ನೋಡುತ್ತೀರಿ.

28 [As a result], my body is decaying like [SIM] rotten wood, like a piece of cloth that is eaten by [larvae of] moths.”

“ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಮಾನವನು ಕೊಳೆತ ವಸ್ತುವಿನಂತೆಯೂ, ನುಸಿಹಿಡಿದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಯಂತೆಯೂ ಅಳಿದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ.
