Ezekiel 25

1 [Some time later, ] Yahweh gave me another message. [He said, ]

І було мені слово Господнє таке:

2 “You human, turn toward where the Ammon people- [lives], and prophesy [what will happen to] them.

„Сину лю́дський, зверни́ своє обличчя до Аммо́нових синів, і пророкуй на них.

3 Say about them, ‘This is what Yahweh the Lord says: “You shouted joyfully when my [in Jerusalem] was destroyed, and when the country/land of Israel was ruined, and when the people of Judah were (exiled/forced to go) [to Babylonia].

І скажеш Аммо́новим синам: Послухайте слова Господа Бога: Так говорить Господь Бог: За те, що ти говориш „Ага!“про Мою святиню, бо вона збезче́щена, і про Ізраїлеву землю, бо спусто́шена, і про Юдин дім, бо пішов у поло́н,

4 Therefore, I am going to allow you to be conquered by people [who will come] from the east. They will set up their tents in your country and live there. And they will eat the fruit from [fruit trees] and drink the [from your cattle].

тому́ ось Я дам тебе синам сходу на спа́док, і поставлять вони в тебе ша́тра свої, і зроблять у тебе місця́ свого пробува́ння. Вони будуть їсти твій плід, і вони будуть пити твоє молоко.

5 I will [your capital city] Rabbah to become a pasture for camels, and the rest of Ammon to [only] a resting place for sheep. Then you will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”

І дам я Раббу на ста́йню для верблю́дів, а Аммонових синів на лі́гво отари, і ви пізнаєте, що Я — Госпо́дь!

6 This is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: “You clapped your [joyfully] and stomped your feet, and laughed because you despised [the people in] the land of Israel.

Бо так Господь Бог промовляє: За твоє пле́скання рукою, і твоє тупотіння ногою, і що в душі ті́шишся ти всією своєю пого́рдою до Ізраілевої землі,

7 Therefore, I will use my power [MTY] against you, and I will enable [other] nations [conquer you and] take away your valuable possessions. I will destroy you completely [DOU], with the result that you no longer will be a nation. When that happens, people will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].’”

тому́ ось Я витягну Свою руку на тебе, і дам тебе на здо́бич для наро́дів, і витну тебе з наро́дів, і ви́гублю тебе з краї́в, знищу тебе, і пізнаєш, що Я — Госпо́дь!

8 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “[The people of] [south of Ammon] and [the people of] [south of Moab despised Israel and] said, ‘The people [MTY] of Israel have [as unimportant] as all the other nations!’

Так сказав Господь Бог: За те, що Моа́в та Сеїр говорять: „Ось Юдин дім — як усі наро́ди“,

9 Therefore, I will destroy the cities that protect the borders of Moab, starting at Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon, and Kiriathaim, the finest cities in Moab.

тому ось Я відкрию Моа́вове узбіччя від міст, від його міст, від його кінця́, пишно́ту землі: Бен-Гаєшімот, Баал-Меон аж до Кір'ятаїму.

10 I will enable people from the east to conquer Moab and also to conquer Ammon. As a result, [I will cause that] Ammon will no longer be remembered by other nations.

Я дам його на спа́док для синів сходу ра́зом з синами Аммо́новими, щоб не згадувались Аммонові сини серед наро́дів.

11 I will also punish [the people of] Moab. When that happens, they will know that I, Yahweh, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”

А над Моавом зроблю́ при́суди, і пізнають вони, що Я — Госпо́дь!

12 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “[You people of] Edom are guilty of getting revenge on the people [MTY] of Judah.

Так говорить Господь Бог: За те, що Едо́м мстився мстою над Юдиним домом, і тяжко гріши́ли, через те, що мсти́лися над ними,

13 Therefore this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: 'I will use my power against [the people of] Edom and will get rid of their men and their animals. I will ruin the land from Teman [region in central Edom] to Dedan [region in the south of Edom], and many of their men will be killed [their enemies] swords.'

тому так говорить Господь Бог: І витягну Я руку Свою на Едо́ма, і витну з нього люди́ну й скоти́ну, і вчиню́ його руїною, — від Теману й аж до Дедану вони попа́дають від меча!

14 The Israeli people will use their power [MTY] to get revenge on [the people of] Edom. They will show [the people of] Edom that I have been angry with them, and I will punish [MTY] them. The people of Edom will experience my getting revenge on them. Then they will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].”

І дам Я Свою по́мсту над Едомом у руку Мого народу Ізраїля, і вчиню́ в Едомі за гнівом Своїм, за лютістю Своєю, і зазнають вони Моєї по́мсти, говорить Господь Бог!

15 This is [also] what Yahweh the Lord says: “The Philistia people-group wanted very much to get revenge [on the people of Judah]. They very maliciously wanted to destroy [Judah].

Так говорить Господь Бог: За те, що филисти́мляни чинили в по́мсті, і мстилися мстою через пого́рду в душі, щоб нищити в вічній не́нависті,

16 Therefore this is what I, Yahweh the Lord, say: I am about to use my power [MTY] against the Philistia people. I will get rid of the Kereth people-group and all [those who live along] the coast of the [Mediterranean] Sea.

тому так говорить Господь Вог: Ось Я витягну Свою руку на филисти́млян, і витну кере́тян, і вигублю останок морського берега,

17 By the way I punish them, I will get great revenge on them and show that I am angry with them. And when I get revenge on them, they will know that I, Yahweh the Lord, [have the power to do what I say that I will do].'”

і вчиню́ над ними жорсто́кі помсти лютими ка́рами. І пізнають вони, що Я — Господь, коли Я вчиню Свою помсту серед них!“
