Ezekiel 15
1 Yahweh gave me another message. [He said],
അതിനുശേഷം യഹോവയുടെ അരുളപ്പാട് ഇപ്രകാരം എനിക്കുണ്ടായി:
2 “You human, the wood of a grapevine is certainly not [RHQ] more useful that the branches of the trees in a forest.
“മനുഷ്യപുത്രാ, കാട്ടിലെ മരങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലുള്ള ഏതെങ്കിലും ഒന്നിന്റെ ശാഖയെക്കാൾ ഒരു മുന്തിരിയുടെ തണ്ടിന് എന്തു വിശേഷതയാണുള്ളത്?
3 No one [RHQ] ever takes a branch of a grapevine and makes anything [useful] from it. No one [RHQ] even makes pegs from them to hang things on.
പ്രയോജനമുള്ള എന്തെങ്കിലും നിർമിക്കാനുള്ള തടി അതിൽനിന്ന് എപ്പോഴെങ്കിലും എടുക്കാൻ കഴിയുമോ? ഏതെങ്കിലും പാത്രം തൂക്കിയിടേണ്ടതിന് അതിൽനിന്ന് ഒരാണിയെങ്കിലും ഉണ്ടാക്കാൻ കഴിയുമോ?
4 And after a branch of a grapevine is thrown into a fire, and the fire burns both ends and chars/scorches the branch in the middle, will it then be useful for anything?
അതു വിറകായി തീയിൽ ഇടുകയും തീ അതിന്റെ രണ്ട് അഗ്രവും കത്തിക്കുകയും അതിന്റെ നടുമുറിയും വെന്തുപോകുകയും ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. ഇനി അതുകൊണ്ടു വല്ല പ്രയോജനവും ഉണ്ടാകുമോ?
5 No; if it was not useful for anything before it was burned, it certainly cannot [made into something] useful after the fire has burned and charred it.
അതു മുഴുവനായിരുന്നപ്പോൾതന്നെ അതുകൊണ്ട് ഉപയോഗമൊന്നും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല. തീ അതിനെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുകയും അതു കരിഞ്ഞുപോകുകയും ചെയ്തശേഷം എന്തിനെങ്കിലും അത് ഉപകരിക്കുമോ?
6 Therefore, this is what [I], Yahweh the Lord, say: The wood of grapevines is useful only for fuel in a fire. Similarly, the people who live in [are useless].
“അതിനാൽ യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് ഇപ്രകാരം അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു: കാട്ടിലെ മരങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ അഗ്നിക്ക് ഇന്ധനമായി മുന്തിരിവള്ളിയെ ഞാൻ ഉപയോഗിച്ചതുപോലെതന്നെ ജെറുശലേംനിവാസികളോടും ഇടപെടും.
7 I will reject [IDM] them. [It will be as though] they have escaped from a fire, but there will still be a fire that will burn them up. And when I punish [EUP] them, you [people who remain alive] will know that I, Yahweh, [have done it].
ഞാൻ അവർക്കെതിരേ മുഖം തിരിക്കും; തീയിൽനിന്ന് പുറത്തുവന്നെങ്കിലും അവർ ആ അഗ്നിക്കുതന്നെ ഇരയായിത്തീരും. എന്റെ മുഖം അവർക്കെതിരായി തിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ ഞാൻ യഹോവ ആകുന്നു എന്നു നിങ്ങൾ അറിയും.
8 I will cause your country to become a wasteland because your people have not been loyal [to me. That is what I], Yahweh, the Lord, say.”
അവർ അവിശ്വസ്തരായിത്തീർന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ ദേശം ശൂന്യമാക്കിത്തീർക്കുമെന്ന് യഹോവയായ കർത്താവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്യുന്നു.”
