< Luke 24 >

1 On the first day of the week, at early dawn, the women came to the tomb, bringing the spices they had prepared, and some other women were with them.
Wauhā nanedauwaudaa hesee hauchauvadede, hajesejevesesanith haejeedadauwu hadausaesenanith, haenauuchaudenauau hathāeneevaudenee heesaanuthaunenau, nau jasae hauthauau nauguu.
2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb,
Nau haenauhauvanauau hauunaugane haeausānene hehethee hadausaesee.
3 but when they went in, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.
Nau haejedānauau, nau haejeveedenauau hedanayaunene Vahadāhenith Hejavaneauthusaun.
4 While they were greatly perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling clothes.
Nau hethauwuu daugaudauwuthajauthee heee, naune, hanesenethe henanenau haetheaugudaunā haenauasāaunenau hedāchaunene:
5 The women were terrified and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead?
Nau daunāthajauthee, nau haenaunauagunauau vedauauwuu, haeāedauwunā, Naudu nananena haenaudehauna hanenaededaunaude nethee gaujauaudahehehau?
6 He is not here, but is risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee,
Hehauwanedau hede, hau jaegauhāde: dauyewuwuu neethāedauwunāna denausunanedaude Gananee,
7 that the Son of Man must be delivered up into the hands of sinful men, be crucified, and on the third day rise again.”
Neesenehede, Heau henane hadvenavathe hejadenene wauwauchudaunanenau, nau hadsaethechauhude, nau nasese hadjaegauhāde.
8 Then they remembered his words.
Nau haedauyewuwunauau hedanadedaunene,
9 When they returned from the tomb, they told all these things to the eleven and to all the others.
Nau haenaudauwu hehethee needausaesenanith, nau haeauthedaunanauau vahee nuu hayauhuhau jasānee, nau vahee hauthauau.
10 It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told these things to the apostles.
Haenane Mare Magdalene, nau Joanna, nau Mare henaune James, nau hauthauauau hesānauau henee henethaunādaunenau, neauthedaunauthee nuu hayauhuhau vadauhanau.
11 But their words came across to them as nonsense, and they did not believe them.
Nau hedanadedaunenau hathanadauwuyaugaune gaugauyaune, nau haejethauwaudaunaunauau.
12 Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb. When he stooped down to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there by themselves. So he went away, wondering to himself what had happened.
Hanaāegauhāde Peda, nau haeyeseneegau hadausaesenanith, nau haeewauguau, haenauhaude naunaujānaunee haeānaudanenau jessaa, nau haenaude, haegaugauanade hasaunee.
13 That same day two of them were going to a village called Emmaus, which was about seven miles from Jerusalem.
Nau, naune, hanesenethe haeyehaunenau henee hajesesenee hajasee hauauwudan Emmaus haseagu, hehethee Dādaunedan wauau nesaudauchu nau gauuu daugauha.
14 They were talking with each other about everything that had happened.
Nau haeanadenauau wauhaunee vahee nuu hayauhuhau hasaunee.
15 As they were talking and discussing these things, Jesus himself drew near and went along with them,
Nau hethauwuu, henee, dauanadethee wauhaunee nau haenaunaudedaunadenauau, Hejavaneauthusau Nehayau haeeauchauna, nau haenethauna.
16 but their eyes were kept from recognizing him.
Hau hesesānenau haedunenenau henee hadjaenaunauthee.
17 He said to them, “What are you discussing with each other as you walk along, looking downcast?”
Nau haeāedauwuna, Hayewnau hadanadedaunenau nuu henee nananena hānegudaudenenau, daujajāwauaunadena, nau daudaneāauna?
18 Then the one whose name was Cleopas answered him, “Are yoʋ the only visitor in Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these last few days?”
Nau jasaa hanaaseede Cleopas, haeauchuhananadethaa, Gauhanane vavade dauhadavesane nuu Dādaunedan, nau gauhajaene hayauhuhau hasedaudenee hena nuu hesee?
19 He said to them, “What things?” So they said to him, “The things concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,
Nau haeāedauwuna, Hayewnau? Nau haeāedauwunaa, Heee Hejavaneauthusau Nazareth, nananede Haeyāhe naunaudāde hanasedaude nau hedanadede hathaāhenith Hejavaneauthu nau vahee henanedanede:
20 and how the chief priests and our rulers handed him over to a sentence of death and crucified him.
Nau najanauau vevethahevahehauau nau hadauchuwunanevene neesevānethe gaujauaudahede hadneauchuwuhade, nau nesaethechauhude.
21 But we had hoped that he was the one who would redeem Israel. And besides all this, today is now the third day since these things happened.
Hau nejauwuwuhaunauau Nananede hadnenayaudede Israel: nau nauguu vahee nuu, desenee nanasāe hesee hāesenesedaudenee.
22 Moreover, some of our women amazed us. They were at the tomb early this morning,
Haa, nau jasae hesānauau jea hadahenauau nenāvānauau, naugusāge neanedauthee hadausaesenanith;
23 and when they did not find his body, they came back saying that they had seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.
Nau dejeveedethee hedanayaunene, nejenuusathee, neauthedathee, henee jea haenauhauvanauau hautheaunau neethāhaugaunee henee daujaenaedeyaugaune.
24 Then some of our companions went to the tomb and found it to be so, just as the women had said, but they did not see him.”
Nau hauthauauau hānethaunādaunene deyehaunauau hadausaesee, nau haeveedenauau vavade hesānauau neesenehenethe: hau haejenauhauvanauau.
25 Then Jesus said to them, “O foolish men, how slow of heart you are to believe all that the prophets have spoken!
Hanaāāedauwunaude, Hau hāhauwaenava nau gaunauanuu hadahenau hethauwaudanee vahee henee haeyāhehauau nethauthedathee:
26 Was it not necessary for the Christ to suffer these things and enter into his glory?”
Naasauau Chris hadnasenede nuu, nau hadjedāde hadnedauvasāthaa.
27 And beginning from Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them the things written about himself in all the Scriptures.
Nau jeeejasesee Mosese nau vahee haeyāhehauau, neevavesāedauwunaude heee vahee hanathauthaunauhunee hayauhuhau hadnesenaedede Nehayau.
28 As they drew near to the village where they were going, Jesus acted as though he were going on farther.
Nau haeeauchauwu hajasee hauauwudan hasesathee: nau nehayau haenanedauneha hadjavesade.
29 But they urged him not to do so, saying, “Stay with us, for it is nearly evening, and the day is drawing to a close.” So he went in to stay with them.
Hau haeneenadaunanauau, hathauhaugaunee, Hanedaudaunāa: hayānaesade, nau hesee hayāenauwusanauau. Nau haejedā hadnanedaudaunaude.
30 As he was reclining at the table with them, he took the bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.
Nau hethauwuu, daujanaugude haenethevetheheva, Haeedane jauaujau, nau haevaveene, nau haejeane, nau haevena.
31 Then their eyes were opened, and they recognized him, but he disappeared from their sight.
Nau hesesānenau haegaunanenenau, nau hanaāaenaunauthee; nau haeeyauhaudenauau.
32 They said to each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us as he spoke to us on the road and explained the Scriptures to us?”
Nau hadāhene gauhauchāe hethauvaa, hanathadagaunee jaee, deanadethānauau jāthee, nau hāegaunanauwunānauau wauthaunauhanau?
33 So they rose that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, where they found the eleven gathered together with their companions,
Nau haegauhānauau chauchaunu nau haejaeyehaunauau Dādaunedan, nau haeveehanauau jasānee haeaunauudaunāhenenau, nau hauthauau henee hanedaudaunādaunenau,
34 saying, “The Lord is risen indeed and has appeared to Simon!”
Vahadāde gauhāde hethauwuu, nau haenauhautheha Simon, hathahaugaunee.
35 Then they began describing what had happened on the road, and how Jesus had been made known to them in the breaking of bread.
Nau haeauthedanauau hayauhuhau hanasedaunith hadesathee, nau hasaenaunāde daujeanauau jauaujau.
36 As they were saying these things, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”
Nau daunausunanadethee, Hejavaneauthusau Nehayau haetheaugu nahethāe hadauthee, nau hathāhaugaunee, Danādauyauau vanenathana.
37 But they were startled and terrified, thinking they had seen a spirit.
Hau haenānauaunauau nau haenāthajaunauau, nau hasethajauhaugaunee henee haenauhauvanauau vadathu.
38 Then he said to them, “Why are you troubled, and why are doubts arising in your hearts?
Nau hathauhuk, Naudu nananena haenāthajauna, nau naudu haegaugauuthajauna gauhānauha hadahenau?
39 Look at my hands and my feet and see that it is I myself. Touch me and look at me, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.”
Nauhaudauwuu Najadenau nau Nauaudau, henee Nananenau nehayau: Vasanee, nau nauhauwuu; hanau vadathau hehauwudausānune nau hehauwudechaunave, hathauhauwuna.
40 After saying this, he showed them his hands and his feet.
Nau dauhanadede, haenauhautheha hejadenau nau heaudau.
41 And while they were still amazed and in disbelief because of their joy, he said to them, “Do you have anything here to eat?”
Nau haejethauwuthajaunauau heee haunauwuthajaude, nau haegaugauuthajaunauau, Haeāedauwuna, Gauhajevetheneva hede?
42 So they gave him a piece of broiled fish and some honeycomb.
Nau haevenanauau hanesāhenith nauwu haeaujaunene, nau gauhauaugunaugauye.
43 And he took them and ate in their presence.
Nau haeedane, nau haevethe hathaājenethe.
44 Then he said to them, “These are the words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms must be fulfilled.”
Nau haeāedauwuna, Nuu nanāe hanadedaunau hāauthedaunathadenenau, denausunethenaedevathana, henee vahee hayauhuhau hadnethauwunauauchuu, hanathauthaunauhuu henanavaavede Mosese, nau haeyāhehauau, nau psalms heee Nananenau.
45 Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures
Hanaāegaunanauwunaude hadnaenauwunethe, henee hadnaenauwunethe wauthaunauhanau,
46 and said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead on the third day,
Nau haeāedauwuna, Hathauthaunauhuu, nau naasauau Chris hadnasenede, nau hadjaegauhāde hehethee gaujauaudahede nasese:
47 and for repentance and remission of sins to be preached in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Nau henee haugauthegaugauuthajaude nau hadjaegudanee wauchudaudenau hadnautheduhunee heee Heneseede nanadee jajaesenanedanede, hehethee Dādaunedan.
48 You are witnesses of these things.
Nau nananena haenauwuna nuu hayauhuhau.
49 And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you, but stay in the city of Jerusalem until you are clothed with power from on high.”
Nau, naune, Nananenau vanenathana sayānee Nāsaunau hau theauguu hedan Dādaunedan, haunaude nananena hāchauwunagu nauguu naudahede hehethee hejavaa.
50 Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them.
Nau haejasesenedauwauna hajechaudanee Bethany, nau haeegauha, nau haevevethasa.
51 While he was blessing them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven.
Nau hethauwuu, daunausuvevethauchaude, Haenautha, nau haeejechauhau jethee hejavaa.
52 So they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.
Nau haevevethedaunanauau, nau haejaeyehaunauau Dādaunedan nauguu vaseneethajaude:
53 And they were continually in the temple courts, praising and blessing God. Amen.
Nau dajauaunee haeanedaunauau jedauwuu Vadannauauwuu, hauwaunede nau haevevethedaunanauau Hejavaneauthu. Hethauvaa.
