< Luke 21 >

1 Then Jesus looked up and saw the rich putting their gifts into the treasury.
ⲁ̅ⲈⲦⲀϤⲤⲞⲘⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈϨⲀⲚⲢⲀⲘⲀⲞ ⲈⲨϨⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲚⲚⲞⲨⲆⲰⲢⲞⲚ ⲈⲚⲒⲄⲀⲌⲞⲪⲨⲖⲀⲔⲒⲞⲚ.
2 He also saw a poor widow there putting in two small copper coins.
ⲃ̅ⲀϤⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲞⲨⲬⲎⲢⲀ ϨⲰⲤ ⲚϨⲎⲔⲒ ⲈⲤϨⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲈⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲖⲈⲠⲦⲞⲚ Ⲃ-.
3 So he said, “Truly I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all the others.
ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲖⲎⲐⲰⲤ ϮϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϪⲈ ⲦⲀⲒⲬⲎⲢⲀ ⲚϨⲎⲔⲒ ⲀⲤϨⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲈϨⲞⲦⲈ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ
4 For they have all put in gifts for God out of their abundance, but she, out of her poverty, has put in all that she had to live on.”
ⲇ̅ⲈⲦⲀ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ϨⲒⲞⲨⲒ ⲚⲚⲒⲆⲰⲢⲞⲚ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲦⲈⲢϨⲞⲨⲞ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲐⲀⲒ ⲚⲐⲞⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲈⲦⲈⲤⲈⲢϦⲀⲈ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲠⲈⲤⲰⲚϦ ⲦⲎⲢϤ ⲈⲚⲀϤⲚⲦⲀⲤ ⲀⲤϨⲒⲦϤ.
5 Then, as some were talking about how the temple was adorned with beautiful stones and gifts consecrated to God, Jesus said,
ⲉ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲢⲈ ϨⲀⲚⲞⲨⲞⲚ ϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲠⲒⲈⲢⲪⲈⲒ ϪⲈ ⲀⲨⲤⲈⲖⲤⲰⲖϤ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚⲰⲚⲒ ⲈⲚⲀⲚⲈⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲀⲚⲀⲐⲎⲘⲀ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ
6 “As for these things that you see, the days will come in which there will not be left one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.”
ⲋ̅ϪⲈ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲤⲈⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲤⲈⲚⲀⲬⲀ ⲞⲨⲰⲚⲒ ⲀⲚ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲰⲚⲒ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲘⲀ ⲚⲤⲈⲚⲀⲂⲞⲖϤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲀⲚ.
7 So they asked him, “Teacher, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign when these things are about to take place?”
ⲍ̅ⲀⲨϢⲈⲚϤ ⲆⲈ ϪⲈ ⲠⲒⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲀⲢⲈ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚⲐⲚⲀⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒⲘⲎⲒⲚⲒ ⲀⲢⲈϢⲀⲚ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲞⲨⲒ ⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ.
8 He said, “Make sure you are not led astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time has drawn near.’ Do not go after them.
ⲏ̅ⲚⲐⲞϤ ⲆⲈ ⲠⲈϪⲀϤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲀⲨ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲤⲰⲢⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲎϢ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲠⲀⲢⲀⲚ ⲈⲨϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲠⲈ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀⲠⲤⲎⲞⲨ ϦⲰⲚⲦ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲤⲀⲪⲀϨⲞⲨ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ.
9 When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not immediately follow.”
ⲑ̅ϨⲞⲦⲀⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲀⲚⲤⲰⲦⲈⲘ ⲈϨⲀⲚⲠⲞⲖⲈⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚϢⲐⲞⲢⲦⲈⲢ ⲘⲠⲈⲢⲚⲞⲨϢⲠ ⲀⲖⲖⲀ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀⲚ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲒϪⲰⲔ.
10 Then he said to them, “Nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
ⲓ̅ⲦⲞⲦⲈ ⲚⲀϤϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲈϤⲈⲦⲰⲚϤ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲘⲈⲦⲞⲨⲢⲞ.
11 There will be great earthquakes in various places, along with famines and plagues. There will also be terrifying sights and great signs from heaven.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ϨⲀⲚⲚⲒϢϮ ⲆⲈ ⲘⲘⲞⲚⲘⲈⲚ ⲈⲨⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚϨⲂⲰⲚ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲘⲞⲨ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲘⲀ ϨⲀⲚϨⲞϮ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲚⲒϢϮ ⲘⲘⲎⲒⲚⲒ ⲈⲨⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲪⲈ.
12 But before all these things take place, they will arrest you and persecute you. They will deliver you up to synagogues and prisons, and you will be brought before kings and governors for my name's sake.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ϦⲀϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲈⲈⲚ ⲚⲞⲨϪⲒϪ ⲈϨⲢⲎⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲈⲚⲀϬⲞϪⲒ ⲚⲤⲀⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲈⲨϮ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈϨⲀⲚⲤⲨⲚⲀⲄⲰⲄⲎ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚϢⲦⲈⲔⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲒⲚⲒ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲚⲒⲞⲨⲢⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒϨⲎⲄⲈⲘⲰⲚ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲠⲀⲢⲀⲚ
13 This will lead to opportunities for you to bear witness.
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲈϤⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲈⲨⲘⲈⲦⲘⲈⲐⲢⲈ.
14 Therefore settle it in your hearts not to prepare your defense in advance.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ⲬⲀⲤ ⲞⲨⲚ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲈϢⲦⲈⲘⲈⲢϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲚⲈⲢⲘⲈⲖⲈⲦⲀⲚ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲠⲈⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲈⲢⲀⲠⲞⲖⲞⲄⲒⲤⲐⲈ ⲘⲘⲞϤ.
15 For I will give you a mouth to speak and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to refute or resist.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲀⲚⲞⲔ ⲄⲀⲢ ϮⲚⲀϮ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲤⲞⲪⲒⲀ ⲐⲎ ⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲈⲚⲀϢϮ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈϨⲢⲀⲤ ⲀⲚ ⲞⲨⲆⲈ ⲚⲤⲈⲚⲀϢⲞⲨⲰϨⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲂⲎⲤ ⲀⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦϮ ⲞⲨⲂⲈ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ.
16 You will even be betrayed by parents, relatives, friends, and brothers, and they will have some of you put to death.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ⲤⲈⲚⲀϮ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲀⲚⲒⲞϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲤⲨⲄⲄⲈⲚⲎⲤ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚϢⲪⲎⲢ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲈⲚⲀϦⲰⲦⲈⲂ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲈⲚⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ
17 You will be hated by all because of my name.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲈⲨⲘⲞⲤϮ ⲘⲘⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲐⲂⲈ ⲠⲀⲢⲀⲚ.
18 Yet not a hair of your head will by any means perish.
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨϤⲰⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲀⲪⲈ ⲚⲚⲈϤⲦⲀⲔⲞ.
19 You must gain your lives by your patient endurance.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ⲆⲈ ϦⲈⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲨⲠⲞⲘⲞⲚⲎ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϪⲪⲞ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲮⲨⲬⲎ.
20 “When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, know that its desolation is near.
ⲕ̅ϨⲞⲦⲀⲚ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲀⲚⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲒⲈⲢⲞⲤⲀⲖⲎⲘ ⲈⲢⲈ ϨⲀⲚⲘⲀⲦⲞⲒ ⲔⲰϮ ⲈⲢⲞⲤ ⲦⲞⲦⲈ ⲀⲢⲒⲈⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ⲀϤϦⲰⲚⲦ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲈⲤϢⲰϤ.
21 Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, those who are in the city must get out, and those who are in the countryside must not enter the city.
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ⲦⲞⲦⲈ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲬⲎ ϦⲈⲚϮⲒⲞⲨⲆⲈⲀ ⲘⲀⲢⲞⲨⲪⲰⲦ ϨⲒϪⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲦⲰⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲦⲈⲤⲘⲎϮ ⲘⲀⲢⲞⲨⲪⲰⲦ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲬⲰⲢⲀ ⲘⲠⲈⲚⲐⲢⲞⲨϢⲈ ⲈϦⲞⲨⲚ ⲈⲢⲞⲤ
22 For those will be days of vengeance, to fulfill all that is written.
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ϪⲈ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲚⲈⲚⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈⲠϬⲒⲘϢⲒϢ ⲈⲐⲢⲞⲨϪⲰⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϪⲈϨⲰⲂ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦⲤϦⲎ ⲞⲨⲦ.
23 Woe to those who are with child and to those who are nursing infants in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath against this people.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ⲞⲨⲞⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲦⲘⲂⲞⲔⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲎ ⲈⲦϬⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲚⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲈⲤⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚϪⲈⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚⲀⲚⲀⲄⲔⲎ ϨⲒϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲔⲀϨⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨϪⲰⲚⲦ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲖⲀⲞⲤ
24 They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led captive into all the nations, and Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲈϨⲈⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲢⲰϤ ⲚⲦⲤⲎϤⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲈⲈⲢⲈⲬⲘⲀⲖⲰⲦⲈⲨⲒⲚ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲚⲒⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲤⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϪⲈⲒⲈⲢⲞⲤⲀⲖⲎⲘ ⲈⲨϨⲰⲘⲒ ⲈϪⲰⲤ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ϢⲀⲦⲞⲨϪⲰⲔ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲀⲚⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ.
25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars, and on the earth there will be distress among the nations as they are perplexed by the roaring sea and the surging waves.
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲚϪⲈϨⲀⲚⲘⲎⲒⲚⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲪⲢⲎ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲒⲒⲞϨ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒⲤⲒⲞⲨ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲞⲨϨⲞϪϨⲈϪ ⲚⲦⲈϨⲀⲚⲈⲐⲚⲞⲤ ⲈϤⲈϢⲰⲠⲒ ϨⲒϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲔⲀϨⲒ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨⲀⲠⲞⲢⲒⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲤⲘⲎ ⲘⲪⲒⲞⲘ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲪⲘⲞⲚⲘⲈⲚ
26 People will faint from fear and foreboding of what is coming upon the world, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ϨⲀⲚⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈⲢⲈ ⲦⲞⲨⲮⲨⲬⲎ ⲒⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚϦⲎⲦⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲀ ⲦϨⲞϮ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲤⲞⲘⲤ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϦⲀϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲎ ⲈⲐⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ϮⲞⲒⲔⲞⲨⲘⲈⲚⲎ ⲚⲒϪⲞⲘ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲪⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲔⲒⲘ.
27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲈⲨⲈⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲰⲘⲒ ⲈϤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϬⲎⲠⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲞⲨⲚⲒϢϮ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ
28 So when these things begin to take place, stand tall and lift up your heads, for your redemption is near.”
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲈⲢⲈ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀⲈⲢϨⲎⲦⲤ ⲚϢⲰⲠⲒ ϪⲞⲨϢⲦ ⲈⲠϢⲰⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲦⲰⲞⲨⲚ ⲚⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚⲀⲪⲎ ⲞⲨⲒ ϪⲈ ϤϦⲈⲚⲦ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲈⲦⲈⲚⲤⲰϮ.
29 Then he told them a parable: “Consider the fig tree and all the other trees.
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϪⲈ ⲞⲨⲠⲀⲢⲀⲂⲞⲖⲎ ⲚⲰⲞⲨ ϪⲈ ⲀⲚⲀⲨ ⲈϮⲂⲰ ⲚⲔⲈⲚⲦⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲚⲒϢϢⲎⲚ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ
30 As soon as they sprout leaves, you can see for yourselves and know that summer is near.
ⲗ̅ⲈϢⲰⲠ ϨⲎⲆⲎ ⲈⲨⲚⲀϮⲞⲨⲰ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ϨⲒⲦⲞⲦⲞⲨ ϢⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲈⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ⲀϤϦⲰⲚⲦ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒϢⲰⲘ.
31 So also, when you see these things taking place, know that the kingdom of God is near.
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϨⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲀⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚϢⲀⲚⲚⲀⲨ ⲈⲚⲀⲒ ⲈⲨⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲀⲢⲒⲈⲘⲒ ϪⲈ ⲀⲤϦⲰⲚⲦ ⲚϪⲈϮⲘⲈⲦⲞⲨⲢⲞ ⲚⲦⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ.
32 Truly I say to you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all things have taken place.
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲀⲘⲎⲚ ϮϪⲰ ⲘⲘⲞⲤ ⲚⲰⲦⲈⲚ ϪⲈ ⲚⲚⲈ ⲦⲀⲒⲄⲈⲚⲈⲀ ⲤⲒⲚⲒ ϢⲀⲦⲈ ⲚⲀⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ϢⲰⲠⲒ.
33 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will certainly not pass away.
ⲗ̅ⲅ̅ⲦⲪⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ⲠⲔⲀϨⲒ ⲤⲈⲚⲀⲤⲒⲚⲒ ⲚⲀⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲚⲞⲨⲤⲒⲚⲒ.
34 “Watch yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and the cares of this life, and that day come upon you suddenly.
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲘⲀϨⲐⲎⲦⲈⲚ ⲆⲈ ⲈⲢⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲎⲠⲞⲦⲈ ⲚⲦⲞⲨϨⲢⲞϢ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲈⲦⲈⲚϨⲎⲦ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚϬⲒⲘⲈ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲐⲒϦⲒ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲢⲰⲞⲨϢ ⲘⲂⲒⲰⲦⲒⲔⲞⲚ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲞⲨϨⲞϮ ϦⲈⲚⲞⲨϨⲞϮ ⲈⲦⲈϤⲒ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈⲦⲈⲘⲘⲀⲨ
35 For it will come like a trap upon all who dwell on the face of the whole earth.
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲘⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲚⲞⲨⲪⲀϢ ⲈϤⲈⲒ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲦϨⲈⲘⲤⲒ ϨⲒϪⲈⲚ ⲠϨⲞ ⲘⲠⲔⲀϨⲒ ⲦⲎⲢϤ.
36 Therefore stay alert at all times, praying that you may be considered worthy to escape everything that will take place, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ⲢⲰⲒⲤ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲚⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲒⲂⲈⲚ ⲈⲢⲈⲦⲈⲚⲦⲰⲂϨ ϨⲒⲚⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚϢϪⲈⲘϪⲞⲘ ⲚⲈⲢⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈⲚⲀⲒ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲈⲐⲚⲀϢⲰⲠⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲞϨⲒ ⲈⲢⲀⲦⲈⲚ ⲐⲎⲚⲞⲨ ⲘⲠⲈⲘⲐⲞ ⲘⲠϢⲎⲢⲒ ⲘⲪⲢⲰⲘⲒ.
37 Each day Jesus taught in the temple courts, but at night he would go out and stay at the mount called Olivet.
ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ⲚⲀϤⲒⲢⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲚⲒⲈϨⲞⲞⲨ ⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ϦⲈⲚⲠⲒⲈⲢⲪⲈⲒ ⲚⲒⲈϪⲰⲢϨ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲀϤⲚⲎⲞⲨ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲈϤⲘⲞⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ϨⲒϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲒⲦⲰⲞⲨ ⲪⲎ ⲈⲦⲞⲨⲘⲞⲨϮ ⲈⲢⲞϤ ϪⲈ ⲪⲀ ⲚⲒϪⲰⲒⲦ
38 And all the people would come to him early in the morning to listen to him in the temple courts.
