Luke 23
1 And the whole assembly of them arose, and brought him to Pilatos.
Tehdy povstavši všecko množství jich, vedli jej ku Pilátovi.
2 And they began to accuse him, saying, We have found this who deludeth our people, and forbiddeth that tribute unto Caesar we should give, saying of himself that he is the King Meshicha.
A počali naň žalovati, řkouce: Tohoto jsme nalezli, an převrací lid, a brání daně dávati císaři, pravě se býti Kristem králem.
3 But Pilatos asked him, and said to him, Art thou the king of the Jihudoyee? He saith to him, Thou hast said.
Pilát pak otázal se ho, řka: Jsi-liž ty král ten Židovský? A on odpověděv, řekl jemu: Ty pravíš.
4 And Pilatos said to the chief priests and to the assembly, I find no occasion against this man.
I dí Pilát předním kněžím a zástupům: Žádné viny nenalézám na tomto člověku.
5 But they cried out and said, He commoveth our people while he teacheth throughout all Jihud, beginning from Galila unto this place.
Oni pak více se silili, řkouce: Bouříť lid, uče po všem Judstvu, počav od Galilee až sem.
6 Pilatos, however, when he heard the name of Galila, asked if the man were a Galiloya.
Tedy Pilát uslyšav o Galilei, otázal se, byl-li by člověk Galilejský.
7 And when he knew that he was from the limit of the jurisdiction of Herodes, he sent him unto Herodes, because that in Urishlem he was in those days.
A když zvěděl, že by byl z panství Heródesova, poslal jej k Heródesovi, kterýž také v Jeruzalémě byl v ty dni.
8 And Herodes, when he saw Jeshu, was very glad; for he had desired to see him of a great time: for he had heard concerning him many things, and hoped that some sign he should see from him.
Heródes pak uzřev Ježíše, zradoval se velmi. Nebo dávno žádal viděti jej, proto že mnoho o něm slýchal, a nadál se, že nějaký div uzří od něho učiněný.
9 And many words he asked him; but Jeshu gave him no answer whatever.
I tázal se ho mnohými řečmi, ale on jemu nic neodpovídal.
10 And the chief priests and scribes stood and strenuously accused him.
Stáli pak přední kněží a zákonníci, tuze na něj žalujíce.
11 Then Herodes and his soldiers treated him as a fool; and when he had derided him, he dressed him in a robe of crimson, and sent him to Pilatos.
A pohrdna jím Heródes s svým rytířstvem, a naposmívav se jemu, oblékl jej v roucho bílé, i odeslal zase ku Pilátovi.
12 And in that day Pilatos and Herodes were friends with each other; for before there had been enmity between them.
I učiněni jsou přátelé Pilát s Heródesem v ten den. Nebo před tím nepřátelé byli vespolek.
13 And Pilatos called the chief priests and the rulers of the people,
Pilát pak svolav přední kněží a úřadné osoby i lid,
14 and said to them, You have brought to me this man as a perverter of your people; and, behold, I have examined him in your sight, and have found no cause in this man of all that you accuse him:
Řekl jim: Dali jste mi tohoto člověka, jako by lid odvracel, a aj, já před vámi vyptávaje se ho, žádné viny jsem nenalezl na tom člověku v tom, což na něj žalujete.
15 nor also Herodes; for I sent him unto him, and, behold, nothing worthy of death is done to him:
Ano ani Heródes; nebo odeslal jsem vás k němu, a aj, nic hodného smrti nestalo se jemu.
16 I will therefore chastise him, and dismiss him.
Protože potrestaje, propustím ho.
17 For a custom had he to release to them one at the festival.
Musil pak propouštívati jim jednoho v svátek.
18 But all the multitude cried out, saying, Take this, and release to us Baraba;
Protož zkřiklo spolu všecko množství, řkouce: Zahlaď tohoto, a propusť nám Barabáše.
19 he who, for insurrection and murder which had been done in the city, had been thrown into the house of the chained.
Kterýž byl pro bouřku nějakou v městě učiněnou a pro vraždu vsazen do žaláře.
20 But Pilatos spake with them again, being willing to release Jeshu.
Tedy Pilát opět mluvil, chtěje propustiti Ježíše.
21 But they cried out, saying, Crucify him! Crucify him!
Oni pak vždy volali, řkouce: Ukřižuj ho, ukřižuj.
22 He the third time also said to them, Why, what evil hath this done? Cause whatever that is worthy of death, I find not in him: I will therefore chastise him, and dismiss him.
A on potřetí řekl jim: Což pak zlého učinil tento? Žádné příčiny smrti nenalezl jsem na něm. Protož potresce, propustím ho.
23 But they were urgent with a high voice, demanding that they might crucify him; and theirs and the voices of the high priests prevailed.
Oni pak předce dotírali křikem velikým, žádajíce, aby byl ukřižován. A rozmáhali se hlasové jejich i předních kněží.
24 And Pilatos commanded that their requirement should be done.
Pilát pak přisoudil, aby se naplnila žádost jejich.
25 And he released to them him who, for insurrection and murder, had been thrown into the house of the chained, whom they had asked: but Jeshu he delivered to their will.
I propustil jim toho, kterýž pro bouřku a vraždu vsazen byl do žaláře, za něhož prosili, ale Ježíše vydal k vůli jejich.
26 AND as they led him away, they laid hold on Shemun Kurinoya, who was coming from the country, and they laid on him the cross, that he might bear (it) after Jeshu.
A když jej vedli, chytivše Šimona nějakého Cyrenenského, jdoucího s pole, vložili na něj kříž, aby nesl za Ježíšem.
27 And there followed him much people, and those women who mourned and wailed for him.
I šlo za ním veliké množství lidu i žen, kteréž plakaly a kvílily ho.
28 And Jeshu turned to them, and said, Daughters of Urishlem, weep not for me, but for yourselves weep, and for your children.
A obrátiv se k nim Ježíš, dí: Dcery Jeruzalémské, neplačte nade mnou, ale raději samy nad sebou plačte a nad svými dětmi.
29 For, behold, coming are the days in which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs which have not borne, and the breasts that have not suckled.
Nebo aj, dnové jdou, v nichž řeknou: Blahoslavené neplodné, a břicha, kteráž nerodila, a prsy, kteréž nekrmily.
30 Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us! and to the heights, Cover us!
Tehdyť počnou říci k horám: Padněte na nás, a pahrbkům: Přikrejte nás.
31 For if to the tree which is good they do these things, unto the dry what shall be?
Nebo poněvadž na zeleném dřevě toto se děje, i co pak bude na suchém?
32 And there went with him two others, workers of evil, to be put to death.
Vedeni pak byli i jiní dva zločinci, aby spolu s ním byli ukřižováni.
33 And when they came to a certain place called Karkaphtha, there they crucified him, and those workers of evil, one on his right hand, and one on his left.
A když přišli na místo, kteréž slove popravištné, tu jej ukřižovali, i ty zločince, jednoho na pravici, druhého pak na levici.
34 BUT Jeshu himself said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they divided his garments, and cast for them lots.
Tedy Ježíš řekl: Otče, odpusť jim, neboť nevědí, co činí. A rozdělivše roucho jeho, metali los.
35 But the people stood beholding, and the rulers also, mocking him, and saying, He saved others, let him save himself, if he be the Meshicha, the Chosen of God.
I stál lid, dívaje se. A posmívali se jemu knížata s nimi, řkouce: Jinýmť spomáhal, nechať pomůže sám sobě, jestliže on jest Kristus, ten Boží zvolený.
36 And the soldiers also, deriding him, approaching him, and offering to him vinegar,
Posmívali se pak jemu i žoldnéři, přistupujíce a octa podávajíce jemu,
37 said to him, If thou art the King of the Jihudoyee, save thyself.
A říkajíce: Jsi-li ty král ten Židovský, spomoziž sám sobě.
38 And there was also an inscription which was written over him in Greek and Roman and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JIHUDOYEE.
A byl také i nápis napsaný nad ním, literami Řeckými a Latinskými a Židovskými: Tento jest král Židovský.
39 And one of those workers of evil who were hanged with him, blasphemed against him, saying, If thou art the Meshicha, deliver thyself, and deliver us also.
Jeden pak z těch zločinců, kteříž s ním viseli, rouhal se jemu, řka: Jsi-li ty Kristus, spomoziž sobě i nám.
40 And his companion rebuked him, and said to him, Dost thou not fear (even) Aloha? for thou also art in this judgment.
A odpověděv druhý, trestal ho, řka: Ani ty se Boha nebojíš, ješto jsi v témž potupení?
41 And we righteously, forasmuch as we have been deserving, and as we are punished for that which we have done;
A my zajisté spravedlivě, nebo hodnou pomstu za skutky své béřeme, ale tento nic zlého neučinil.
42 but this hath done nothing that is abominable. And he said to Jeshu, Remember me, my Lord, when thou art come into thy kingdom!
I dí Ježíšovi: Pane, rozpomeň se na mne, když přijdeš do království svého.
43 Jeshu saith to him, Amen I say to thee, That to-day with me thou shalt be in Paradise.
I řekl mu Ježíš: Amen pravím tobě, dnes budeš se mnou v ráji.
44 NOW it was about six hours, and there was darkness over all the earth until nine hours.
A bylo okolo hodiny šesté. I stala se tma po vší zemi až do hodiny deváté.
45 And the sun darkened, and rent was the vail of the temple through the midst of it.
I zatmělo se slunce, a opona chrámová roztrhla se napoly.
46 And Jeshu cried with a high voice, and said, My Father, in thy hands I place my spirit. This he said, and completed.
A zvolav Ježíš hlasem velikým, řekl: Otče, v ruce tvé poroučím ducha svého. A to pověděv, umřel.
47 But when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified Aloha, saying, Assuredly this was a just man.
A viděv centurio, co se stalo, velebil Boha, řka: Jistě člověk tento spravedlivý byl.
48 And all the multitude, they who were assembled to see this, when they saw what was done, returned, smiting upon their breasts.
A všickni zástupové, přítomní tomu divadlu, hledíce na to, co se dálo, tepouce prsy své, navracovali se.
49 And there were standing afar off all the acquaintances of Jeshu, and those women who came with him from Galila; and they saw these things.
Stáli pak všickni známí jeho zdaleka, hledíce na to, i ženy, kteréž byly přišly za ním z Galilee.
50 BUT a certain man, whose name was Jauseph, a senator from Rometha, a city of Jehud, a man (who) was good and just:
A aj, muž jménem Jozef, jeden z úřadu, muž dobrý a spravedlivý,
51 (this had not consented to the counsel and deed of them; and he was waiting for the kingdom of Aloha: )
Kterýž byl nepovolil radě a skutku jejich, z Arimatie města Judského, kterýž také očekával království Božího;
52 this approached Pilatos, and begged the body of Jeshu;
Ten přistoupiv ku Pilátovi, vyprosil tělo Ježíšovo.
53 and he took it down, and wrapped it in a cloth of linen, and laid it in a hewn sepulchre, in which no one had hitherto been laid.
A složiv je, obvinul v kment, a pochoval je v hrobě vytesaném, v kterémž ještě nikdy nebyl žádný pochován.
54 And it was the day of the preparation; and the shabath had lighted.
A byl den připravování, a sobota se začínala.
55 And the women also drew near, they who had come with him from Galila; and they saw the sepulchre, and where the body was laid;
Šedše pak také za ním ženy, kteréž byly s Ježíšem přišly z Galilee, pohleděly na hrob, a kterak pochováno bylo tělo jeho.
56 and, returned, they prepared balsams and aromatics, and on the shabath rested, as it is commanded.
Vrátivše se pak, připravily vonné věci a masti, ale v sobotu odpočinuly, podlé přikázaní.
