Luke 18
1 AND he spake also a parable to them, that in all time (men) should pray and not weary.

2 There was a judge in a certain city who of Aloha was not afraid, and of men was not regardful.
“Issi kataman Xoossaas yashettonna asaskka yeellatonna issi daynni de7ees
3 But a certain widow was in that city, who came to him, saying, Avenge me of my adversary.
He kataman issi am77iya da7awusu. Iyakka, ‘Tawunne ta morkkiyas giddon de7iya mootuwa pirdda’ yaagada ubba wode he daynnaako simerettawusu.
4 And he was not willing long time; but afterward he said within himself, If of Aloha I am not afraid, and of men am not regardful,
Daynnay guutha wodes I odaa si7onna ixxis, shin guyeppe ba wozanan, ‘Taani Xoossaas yayyonna, asas yeellatonna ixxikokka,
5 yet, because this widow wearies me, I will avenge her, that in all time she come not molesting me.
ha am77iya tana waaysiya gisho iw pirddana; yaatonna ixxiko ubba wode yada tana salethana’ yaagidi qoppis” yaagis.
6 And our Lord said, Hear what saith the unrighteous judge.
Godaykka, “Geella daynnay gidayssa si7ideta
7 But shall not Aloha do vengeance for his chosen, who cry to him by day and by night, and prolong his spirit towards them?
Xoossay qammanne gallas iyaakko waassiya ba dooridayssatas pirddeneyye? Enttana maaddanaw gam77iyye?
8 I tell you he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless, when the Son of man shall come, will he find faith upon the earth?
Ta hinttew odeyssa si7ite, ellesidi pirddana. Gidoshin, Asa Na7ay yaa wode sa7a bolla ammano demmanddeshsha?” yaagis.
9 And he spake this parable against some who trusted in themselves that they were just, and despised all (men):
Qassi zaaridi, Yesuusi, banttana xillo asada oothidi ceeqetteyssatasinne harata kadheyssatas hayssada yaagidi leemiso odis.
10 Two men went up to the temple to pray, the one a Pharisha, the other a publican;
“Nam77u asati woossanaw Xoossa Keethi bidosona. Issoy Farisaawe hankkoy qassi qaraxa qanxisiya asi.
11 and, behold, the Pharisha stood (and) within himself these words prayed: Aloha, I thank thee that I am not as the rest of men, rapacious and unjust, and adulterers; nor as this publican.
Farisaawey eqqidi baw woossishe, ‘Xoossaw taani harata mela bonqanchcho, geellanne laymatiya asi, aadhdhida qassi ha qaraxa qanxisiya uraa mela gidonna gisho nena galatays.
12 But I fast twice in the week, and tithe whatever I possess.
Saaminttafe nam77u toho xoomays, ta demmiyaba ubbaafe asiraata kessays’ yaagis.
13 But that publican stood from afar, and would not even his eyes lift up to heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, Aloha, be merciful to me a sinner!
“Shin qaraxa qanxiseyssi qassi haahon eqqidi hari attoshin salo dhoqqu gidi xeellanawukka yayyidi ba tiraa iccishe ‘Xoossaw, tana nagaranchchuwa maararkii’ gidi woossis.
14 I tell you that this one went down justified to his house, rather than that Pharisha. For every man who exalteth himself shall be humbled, and every one who humbleth himself shall be exalted.
Ta hinttew odeyssa si7ite; Farisaawiyappe hayssi qaraxa qanxiseyssi Xoossaa sinthan xillo gididi ba soo simmis. Ays giikko, bana dhoqqu dhoqqu oothiya asi kawuyana, bana kawushshiya asi dhoqqu dhoqqu gaana” yaagis.
15 Then they brought to him infants, that he should touch them: and the disciples saw it, and rebuked them.
Yesuusi yooga nayta bolla ba kushiya wothidi anjjana mela asay iyaakko ehoosona. Yesuusa tamaareti hessa be7idi ays Yesuusakko eheeti yaagidi kaccidosona.
16 But Jeshu called them, and said to them, Suffer children to come to me, and forbid them not; for of those who are as these,
Shin Yesuusi nayta baakko xeegidi, “Yooga nayti taakko yaanayssa diggofite; yo giite. Ays giikko, Xoossaa kawotethay enttada hanidayssatassa.
17 of them is the kingdom of heaven. Amen I say to you, That whoever does not receive the kingdom of Aloha as a child, shall not enter into it.
Taani hinttew tuma odays; Xoossaa kawotethaa yooga naytatho ekkonnay oonikka yaa gelenna” yaagis.
18 AND one of the rulers asked him, saying, Good Teacher, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
Ayhude halaqatappe issoy, “Keeha asttamaariyaw, merinaa de7uwa demmanaw ay ootho?” yaagidi oychchis. (aiōnios g166)
19 Jeshu saith to him, Why callest thou me good, and none is good but one, Aloha?
Yesuusi iyaakko, “Ays tana keehaw yaagada xeegay? Issi Xoossaafe attin hari keehi baawa.
20 The commandments thou knowest, Thou shalt not kill, and, Thou shalt not commit adultery, and, Thou shalt not steal, and, Thou shalt not witness false testimony, Honour thy father and thy mother.
Laammofa, wodhoppa, kaysotoppa, worddo markkattofa, ne aawanne ne aayiw bonchcha yaagiya kiitaa eray” yaagidi oychchis.
21 He saith to him, These all have I kept from my childhood.
Uraykka, “Hessata ubbaa taani na7atethafe doomada naagashe gam77as” yaagis.
22 But when Jeshu heard this, he said to him, One thing is lacking with thee; go, sell whatever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven, and come after me.
Yesuusi hessa si7ida wode, “Hiza, new issibay paccees; new de7iyaba ubbaa bayzada manqotas imma; salon nena shaloy naagees. Yaata simmada tana kaalla” yaagis.
23 But he, when he heard these words, was grieved; for he was very rich.
Shin uray hessa si7ida wode iyaw daro shaloy de7iya gisho daro qiirottis.
24 And when Jeshu saw that he was grieved, he said, How difficult is it to those who have riches to enter into the kingdom of Aloha!
Yesuusi uraa be7idi, “Dure asas Xoossaa kawotethaa geloy waanidi un77anddeshsha?
25 It is easier for a camel into the aperture of a needle to enter, than the rich into the kingdom of Aloha.
Durey Xoossaa kawotethaa gelanayssafe gimaley narppe luhora kantheyssi kawuyees” yaagis.
26 They who heard said to him, And who can be saved?
Hessa si7ida asay, “Hessa gidikko ooni attanee?” yaagidosona.
27 But Jeshu said, Those (things) which with the sons of men are not possible, with Aloha are possible to be done.
Yesuusi, “Asas dandda7ettonabay Xoossaas dandda7ettees” yaagis.
28 Shemun Kipha said to him, Behold, we have forsaken every thing, and have come after thee.
Phexiroosi, “Hekko nuuni nubaa ubbaa aggidi nena kaallida” yaagis.
29 Jeshu saith to him, Amen I say to you, That no man who leaveth houses, or fathers, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of Aloha,
“Yesuusi tuma ta hinttew odays; Xoossaa kawotethaas gidi ba keethaa woykko ba machchiw woykko ba ishata woykko ba aawanne ba aayiw woykko ba nayta aggiday;
31 AND Jeshu took the twelve, and said to them, Behold, we go up to Urishlem, and shall be fulfilled all (things) that are written in the prophets concerning the Son of man.
Yesuusi tammanne nam77ata baakko xeegidi, “Ane Yerusalaame boos, nabeti Asa Na7aabaa xaafidaba ubbay yan polettana.
32 For he will be delivered to the Gentiles; and they will deride him, and spit in his face,
I Ayhude gidonna asaas aadhdhidi imettana. Entti iya toochchana, cayananne iya bolla cuttana.
33 and will scourge him, and maltreat him, and kill him; and the third day he shall arise.
Iya garaafidaappe guye, wodhana, shin heedzantho gallasan I hayqoppe denddana” yaagis.
34 But not one of these understood they: for this word was hidden from them, and they knew not those sayings which were spoken with them.
Shin iya tamaareti hessa ubbaafe issibaakka akeekibookkona. Iya xuuray enttaw qosettida gisho I woygidaakko eribookkona.
35 And as he drew nigh to Jirichu, a certain blind man was sitting by the road-side, and begging.
Yesuusi Iyaarkko matattiya wode issi qooqe uray oge gaxan uttidi woossees.
36 And he heard the voice of the multitude as it was passing, and asked what was this.
Qooqe uray asay he bessaara aadhdhishin si7idi, “I aybe?” gidi oychchis.
37 They say to him, Jeshu Natsroya passeth.
Entti, “Naazirete Yesuusi hayssara aadhdhees” yaagidosona.
38 And he cried and said, Jeshu bar David, have mercy on me!
I, “Dawite na7aw, Yesuusa, tana maararkii” yaagidi waassis.
39 And they who went before Jeshu rebuked him, that he might be silent: but he cried out the more, Son of David, have mercy on me!
Sinthe sinthe biya asati, “Si7i ga” gidi hanqettidosona. Shin I, “Dawite na7aw, tana maara” yaagidi darssi waassis.
40 And Jeshu stood, and commanded that they should lead him unto him. And when he, approached him, he asked him and said to him,
Yesuusi eqqidi uraa baakko ehana mela kiittis. Uraykka, iyaakko shiiqin,
41 What wilt thou I shall do for thee? And he said, My Lord, that I may see.
“Ta new ay oothana mela koyay?” yaagidi oychchis. Qooqey, “Godaw ta xeellanaw koyays” yaagis.
42 And Jeshu said to him, See! thy faith hath saved thee.
Yesuusi, “Xeella, ne ammanoy nena pathis” yaagis.
43 And in an instant he saw, and came after him, and glorified Aloha: and all the people, when they saw, gave praise to Aloha.
