Zephaniah 2
1 to assemble and to assemble [the] nation not to long
| הִֽתְקוֹשְׁשׁוּ וָקוֹשּׁוּ הַגּוֹי לֹא נִכְסָֽף׃ |

| בְּטֶרֶם לֶדֶת חֹק כְּמֹץ עָבַר יוֹם בְּטֶרֶם ׀ לֹא־יָבוֹא עֲלֵיכֶם חֲרוֹן אַף־יְהוָה בְּטֶרֶם לֹא־יָבוֹא עֲלֵיכֶם יוֹם אַף־יְהוָֽה׃ |
3 to seek [obj] LORD all poor [the] land: country/planet which justice his to work to seek righteousness to seek humility perhaps to hide in/on/with day face: anger LORD
| בַּקְּשׁוּ אֶת־יְהוָה כָּל־עַנְוֵי הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר מִשְׁפָּטוֹ פָּעָלוּ בַּקְּשׁוּ־צֶדֶק בַּקְּשׁוּ עֲנָוָה אוּלַי תִּסָּתְרוּ בְּיוֹם אַף־יְהוָֽה׃ |
4 for Gaza to leave: forsake to be and Ashkelon to/for devastation Ashdod in/on/with midday to drive out: drive out her and Ekron to uproot
| כִּי עַזָּה עֲזוּבָה תִֽהְיֶה וְאַשְׁקְלוֹן לִשְׁמָמָה אַשְׁדּוֹד בַּֽצָּהֳרַיִם יְגָרְשׁוּהָ וְעֶקְרוֹן תֵּעָקֵֽר׃ |
5 woe! to dwell cord [the] sea nation Cherethite word LORD upon you Canaan land: country/planet Philistine and to perish you from nothing to dwell
| הוֹי יֹֽשְׁבֵי חֶבֶל הַיָּם גּוֹי כְּרֵתִים דְּבַר־יְהוָה עֲלֵיכֶם כְּנַעַן אֶרֶץ פְּלִשְׁתִּים וְהַאֲבַדְתִּיךְ מֵאֵין יוֹשֵֽׁב׃ |
6 and to be cord [the] sea pasture hollow to pasture and wall flock
| וְֽהָיְתָה חֶבֶל הַיָּם נְוֺת כְּרֹת רֹעִים וְגִדְרוֹת צֹֽאן׃ |

| וְהָיָה חֶבֶל לִשְׁאֵרִית בֵּית יְהוּדָה עֲלֵיהֶם יִרְעוּן בְּבָתֵּי אַשְׁקְלוֹן בָּעֶרֶב יִרְבָּצוּן כִּי יִפְקְדֵם יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵיהֶם וְשָׁב שבותם שְׁבִיתָֽם׃ |

| שָׁמַעְתִּי חֶרְפַּת מוֹאָב וְגִדּוּפֵי בְּנֵי עַמּוֹן אֲשֶׁר חֵֽרְפוּ אֶת־עַמִּי וַיַּגְדִּילוּ עַל־גְּבוּלָֽם׃ |
9 to/for so alive I utterance LORD Hosts God Israel for Moab like/as Sodom to be and son: descendant/people Ammon like/as Gomorrah possession nettle and pit salt and devastation till forever: enduring remnant people my to plunder them and remainder (nation my *QK) to inherit them
| לָכֵן חַי־אָנִי נְאֻם יְהוָה צְבָאוֹת אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּֽי־מוֹאָב כִּסְדֹם תִּֽהְיֶה וּבְנֵי עַמּוֹן כַּֽעֲמֹרָה מִמְשַׁק חָרוּל וּמִכְרֵה־מֶלַח וּשְׁמָמָה עַד־עוֹלָם שְׁאֵרִית עַמִּי יְבָזּוּם וְיֶתֶר גוי גּוֹיִי יִנְחָלֽוּם׃ |

| זֹאת לָהֶם תַּחַת גְּאוֹנָם כִּי חֵֽרְפוּ וַיַּגְדִּלוּ עַל־עַם יְהוָה צְבָאֽוֹת׃ |

| נוֹרָא יְהוָה עֲלֵיהֶם כִּי רָזָה אֵת כָּל־אֱלֹהֵי הָאָרֶץ וְיִשְׁתַּֽחֲווּ־לוֹ אִישׁ מִמְּקוֹמוֹ כֹּל אִיֵּי הַגּוֹיִֽם׃ |

| גַּם־אַתֶּם כּוּשִׁים חַֽלְלֵי חַרְבִּי הֵֽמָּה׃ |

| וְיֵט יָדוֹ עַל־צָפוֹן וִֽיאַבֵּד אֶת־אַשּׁוּר וְיָשֵׂם אֶת־נִֽינְוֵה לִשְׁמָמָה צִיָּה כַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃ |

| וְרָבְצוּ בְתוֹכָהּ עֲדָרִים כָּל־חַיְתוֹ־גוֹי גַּם־קָאַת גַּם־קִפֹּד בְּכַפְתֹּרֶיהָ יָלִינוּ קוֹל יְשׁוֹרֵר בַּֽחַלּוֹן חֹרֶב בַּסַּף כִּי אַרְזָה עֵרָֽה׃ |
