Zechariah 1
1 in/on/with month [the] eighth in/on/with year two to/for Darius to be word LORD to(wards) Zechariah son: child Berechiah son: child Iddo [the] prophet to/for to say
Vào tháng tám năm thứ hai triều Vua Đa-ri-út, Tiên tri Xa-cha-ri, con Bê-rê-kia, cháu Y-đô, nhận được sứ điệp của Chúa Hằng Hữu như sau:
2 be angry LORD upon father your wrath
“Chúa Hằng Hữu giận tổ tiên các ngươi lắm;
3 and to say to(wards) them thus to say LORD Hosts to return: return to(wards) me utterance LORD Hosts and to return: return to(wards) you to say LORD Hosts
vì vậy hãy nói cho chúng dân nghe: ‘Đây là lời của Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân: Nếu các ngươi quay về với Ta, Ta sẽ trở lại cùng các ngươi, Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân phán vậy.’
4 not to be like/as father your which to call: call out to(wards) them [the] prophet [the] first: previous to/for to say thus to say LORD Hosts to return: return please from way: conduct your [the] bad: evil (and deed your *Qk) [the] bad: evil and not to hear: hear and not to listen to(wards) me utterance LORD
Đừng như tổ tiên các ngươi không lắng nghe hay để ý những điều các tiên tri đã nói với họ: ‘Đây là lời Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân phán: Hãy từ bỏ đường ác, và chấm dứt những việc làm gian ác.’
5 father your where? they(masc.) and [the] prophet to/for forever: enduring to live
Tổ tiên các ngươi đâu cả rồi? Còn các tiên tri nữa, họ có sống mãi sao?
6 surely word my and statute: decree my which to command [obj] servant/slave my [the] prophet not to overtake father your and to return: repent and to say like/as as which to plan LORD Hosts to/for to make: do to/for us like/as way: conduct our and like/as deed our so to make: do with us
Tuy nhiên lời Ta, luật lệ Ta truyền cho các tiên tri, cuối cùng đã chinh phục lòng tổ tiên các ngươi. Họ ăn năn và nói: ‘Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân đã xử chúng tôi đúng như Ngài bảo trước, trừng phạt những điều ác chúng tôi làm, những đường tà chúng tôi theo.’”

Ngày hai mươi bốn tháng mười một, tháng Sê-bát, năm thứ hai triều Vua Đa-ri-út, Tiên tri Xa-cha-ri, con Bê-rê-kia, cháu Y-đô, lại nhận được sứ điệp của Chúa Hằng Hữu.
8 to see: seer [the] night and behold man to ride upon horse red and he/she/it to stand: stand between [the] myrtle which in/on/with ravine and after him horse red sorrel and white
Đêm ấy, tôi thấy một người cưỡi ngựa hồng đứng giữa đám cây sim trong một thung lũng hẹp. Đứng sau người ấy có nhiều ngựa hồng, ngựa nâu, và ngựa trắng.
9 and to say what? these lord my and to say to(wards) me [the] messenger: angel [the] to speak: speak in/on/with me I to see: see you what? they(masc.) these
Tôi hỏi thiên sứ đang nói chuyện với tôi: “Thưa ngài, những cảnh này có nghĩa gì?” Thiên sứ đáp: “Tôi sẽ cho ông biết.”
10 and to answer [the] man [the] to stand: stand between: among [the] myrtle and to say these which to send: depart LORD to/for to go: walk in/on/with land: country/planet
Rồi người đứng giữa đám cây sim, tức thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu, lên tiếng đáp lời tôi: “Chúa Hằng Hữu sai những người này đi khắp đất.”
11 and to answer [obj] messenger: angel LORD [the] to stand: stand between: among [the] myrtle and to say to go: walk in/on/with land: country/planet and behold all [the] land: country/planet to dwell and to quiet
Những người cưỡi ngựa báo với thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu: “Chúng tôi đã đi khắp đất, mọi nơi đều bình an.”
12 and to answer messenger: angel LORD and to say LORD Hosts till how you(m. s.) not to have compassion [obj] Jerusalem and [obj] city Judah which be indignant this seventy year
Nghe thế, thiên sứ của Chúa Hằng Hữu cầu nguyện: “Lạy Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân, bảy mươi năm qua, cơn giận của Chúa Hằng Hữu đã trừng phạt Giê-ru-sa-lem và các thành Giu-đa. Đến bao giờ Chúa Hằng Hữu mới thương xót các thành ấy?”
13 and to answer LORD [obj] [the] messenger: angel [the] to speak: speak in/on/with me word pleasant word comfort
Chúa Hằng Hữu dùng lời từ tốn an ủi thiên sứ đang nói chuyện với tôi.
14 and to say to(wards) me [the] messenger: angel [the] to speak: speak in/on/with me to call: call out to/for to say thus to say LORD Hosts be jealous to/for Jerusalem and to/for Zion jealousy great: large
Thiên sứ bảo tôi: “Hãy công bố những lời này: ‘Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân phán: Khi thấy hoàn cảnh của Giê-ru-sa-lem và Núi Si-ôn, Ta giận lắm.
15 and wrath great: large I be angry upon [the] nation [the] secure which I be angry little and they(masc.) to help to/for distress: harm
Ta giận vì những dân tộc ngoại đạo đang sống an ổn, vì trong khi Ta chỉ hơi giận dân Ta thì các dân tộc ngoại đạo đã ra tay vượt quá ý định của Ta.’
16 to/for so thus to say LORD to return: return to/for Jerusalem in/on/with compassion house: home my to build in/on/with her utterance LORD Hosts (and line *QK) to stretch upon Jerusalem
‘Cho nên, đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu phán: Ta sẽ trở lại với Giê-ru-sa-lem với lòng thương xót. Đền Thờ Ta sẽ được xây lại, Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân phán, và dây chuẩn mực sẽ giăng trên thành Giê-ru-sa-lem.’
17 still to call: call out to/for to say thus to say LORD Hosts still to flow city my from good and to be sorry: comfort LORD still [obj] Zion and to choose still in/on/with Jerusalem
Hãy công bố tiếp: Đây là điều Chúa Hằng Hữu Vạn Quân phán: ‘Các thành của Ít-ra-ên sẽ lại thịnh vượng như xưa, Chúa Hằng Hữu sẽ vỗ về Si-ôn, vì một lần nữa, Ngài chọn Giê-ru-sa-lem.’”
18 and to lift: look [obj] eye my and to see: see and behold four horn
Tôi nhìn lên, thấy có bốn cái sừng.
19 and to say to(wards) [the] messenger: angel [the] to speak: speak in/on/with me what? these and to say to(wards) me these [the] horn which to scatter [obj] Judah [obj] Israel and Jerusalem
Tôi hỏi thiên sứ đang nói chuyện với tôi: “Những sừng ấy là gì?” Thiên sứ đáp: “Đó là những sừng đã làm cho Giu-đa, Ít-ra-ên, và Giê-ru-sa-lem tan tác.”
20 and to see: see me LORD four artificer
Chúa Hằng Hữu cho tôi thấy bốn người thợ rèn.
21 and to say what? these to come (in): come to/for to make: do and to say to/for to say these [the] horn which to scatter [obj] Judah like/as lip: according man not to lift: kindness head his and to come (in): come these to/for to tremble [obj] them to/for to give thanks [obj] horn [the] nation [the] to lift: fight horn to(wards) land: country/planet Judah to/for to scatter her
Tôi hỏi: “Những người này đến làm gì?” Thiên sứ đáp: “Họ đến đánh các sừng đã làm cho Giu-đa tan tác, để chúng không ngóc đầu lên được. Họ sẽ ném sừng của các nước ngoại đạo ấy xuống đất.”
