1 melody to/for David to give to/for LORD son: type of god to give to/for LORD glory and strength
A Psalm of David. Ascribe unto the LORD, O ye sons of might, ascribe unto the LORD glory and strength.
2 to give to/for LORD glory name his to bow to/for LORD in/on/with adornment holiness
Ascribe unto the LORD the glory due unto His name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
3 voice LORD upon [the] water God [the] glory to thunder LORD upon water many
The voice of the LORD is upon the waters; the God of glory thundereth, even the LORD upon many waters.
4 voice LORD in/on/with strength voice LORD in/on/with glory
The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
5 voice LORD to break cedar and to break LORD [obj] cedar [the] Lebanon
The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars; yea, the LORD breaketh in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.
6 and to skip about them like calf Lebanon and Sirion like son: young animal wild ox
He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young wild-ox.
7 voice LORD to hew flame fire
The voice of the LORD heweth out flames of fire.
8 voice LORD to twist: tremble wilderness to twist: tremble LORD wilderness Kadesh
The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
9 voice LORD to twist: dance doe and to strip wood and in/on/with temple his all his to say glory
The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds to calve, and strippeth the forests bare; and in His temple all say: 'Glory.'
10 LORD to/for flood to dwell and to dwell LORD king to/for forever: enduring
The LORD sat enthroned at the flood; yea, the LORD sitteth as King for ever.
11 LORD strength to/for people his to give: give LORD to bless [obj] people his in/on/with peace
The LORD will give strength unto His people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
