1 to/for David to bless soul my [obj] LORD and all entrails: among my [obj] name holiness his
Von David. Preise, meine Seele, Jahwe, und alles, was in mir ist, seinen heiligen Namen!
2 to bless soul my [obj] LORD and not to forget all recompense his
Preise, meine Seele, Jahwe, und vergiß nicht, was er dir alles gethan hat!

Der dir alle deine Schuld vergab, alle deine Gebrechen heilte,
4 [the] to redeem: redeem from Pit: hell life your [the] to crown you kindness and compassion (questioned)
der dein Leben aus der Grube erlöste, mit Gnade und Barmherzigkeit dich krönte,
5 [the] to satisfy in/on/with good ornament your to renew like/as eagle youth your
der dein Verlangen mit Gutem sättigte; dem Adler gleich erneuert sich deine Jugend!
6 to make: do righteousness LORD and justice to/for all to oppress
Gerechtigkeit schafft Jahwe und Recht für alle Unterdrückten.
7 to know way: conduct his to/for Moses to/for son: descendant/people Israel wantonness his
Er ließ seine Wege Mose kund werden, den Söhnen Israels seine großen Thaten.
8 compassionate and gracious LORD slow face: anger and many kindness
Barmherzig und gnädig ist Jahwe, langsam zum Zorn und reich an Huld.
9 not to/for perpetuity to contend and not to/for forever: enduring to keep
Nicht für immer hadert er, noch trägt er ewig nach.
10 not like/as sin our to make: do to/for us and not like/as iniquity: crime our to wean upon us
Er verfuhr mit uns nicht nach unseren Sünden und vergalt uns nicht nach unseren Verschuldungen,
11 for like/as to exult heaven upon [the] land: country/planet to prevail kindness his upon afraid his
sondern so hoch der Himmel über der Erde ist, ist seine Gnade mächtig über denen, die ihn fürchten.
12 like/as to remove east from west to remove from us [obj] transgression our
So fern der Sonnenaufgang vom Untergang, hat er unsere Vergehungen von uns entfernt.
13 like/as to have compassion father upon son: child to have compassion LORD upon afraid his
Wie sich ein Vater über Kinder erbarmt, hat sich Jahwe erbarmt über die, die ihn fürchten.
14 for he/she/it to know intention our to remember for dust we
Denn er weiß, woraus wir geformt sind, ist eingedenk, daß wir Staub sind.
15 human like/as grass day his like/as flower [the] land: country so to blossom
Des Menschen Lebenstage sind wie das Gras; wie eine Blume auf dem Felde, also blüht er.
16 for spirit: breath to pass in/on/with him and nothing he and not to recognize him still place his
Wenn ein Windhauch über ihn dahingefahren, ist er dahin, und seine Stätte kennt ihn nicht mehr.

Die Gnade Jahwes aber währt von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit über denen, die ihn fürchten, und seine Gerechtigkeit auf Kindeskinder
18 to/for to keep: obey covenant his and to/for to remember precept his to/for to make: do them
derer, die seinen Bund halten und seiner Gebote eingedenk sind, daß sie danach thun.
19 LORD in/on/with heaven to establish: establish throne his and royalty his in/on/with all to rule
Jahwe hat seinen Thron im Himmel aufgerichtet, und sein Königtum herrscht über das All.
20 to bless LORD messenger: angel his mighty man strength to make: do word his to/for to hear: obey in/on/with voice word his
Preist Jahwe, ihr, seine Engel, ihr starken Helden, die ihr seinen Befehl ausrichtet, indem sie auf den Schall seines Wortes hören.
21 to bless LORD all army his to minister him to make: do acceptance his
Preist Jahwe, ihr, all sein Heer, seine Diener, die ihr seinen Willen vollzieht.
22 to bless LORD all deed: work his in/on/with all place dominion his to bless soul my [obj] LORD
Preist Jahwe, alle seine Werke an allen Orten seiner Herrschaft. Preise, meine Seele, Jahwe!
