Numbers 3
1 and these generation Aaron and Moses in/on/with day to speak: speak LORD with Moses in/on/with mountain: mount Sinai
| וְאֵלֶּה תּוֹלְדֹת אַהֲרֹן וּמֹשֶׁה בְּיוֹם דִּבֶּר יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה בְּהַר סִינָֽי׃ |
2 and these name son: child Aaron [the] firstborn Nadab and Abihu Eleazar and Ithamar
| וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת בְּֽנֵי־אַהֲרֹן הַבְּכוֹר ׀ נָדָב וַאֲבִיהוּא אֶלְעָזָר וְאִיתָמָֽר׃ |
3 these name son: child Aaron [the] priest [the] to anoint which to fill hand: donate their to/for to minister
| אֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת בְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֲנִים הַמְּשֻׁחִים אֲשֶׁר־מִלֵּא יָדָם לְכַהֵֽן׃ |
4 and to die Nadab and Abihu to/for face: before LORD in/on/with to present: bring they fire be a stranger to/for face: before LORD in/on/with wilderness (Wilderness of) Sinai and son: child not to be to/for them and to minister Eleazar and Ithamar upon face: before Aaron father their
| וַיָּמָת נָדָב וַאֲבִיהוּא לִפְנֵי יְהוָה בְּֽהַקְרִבָם אֵשׁ זָרָה לִפְנֵי יְהוָה בְּמִדְבַּר סִינַי וּבָנִים לֹא־הָיוּ לָהֶם וַיְכַהֵן אֶלְעָזָר וְאִיתָמָר עַל־פְּנֵי אַהֲרֹן אֲבִיהֶֽם׃ |
5 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
| וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ |
6 to present: bring [obj] tribe Levi and to stand: stand [obj] him to/for face: before Aaron [the] priest and to minister [obj] him
| הַקְרֵב אֶת־מַטֵּה לֵוִי וְהֽ͏ַעֲמַדְתָּ אֹתוֹ לִפְנֵי אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן וְשֵׁרְתוּ אֹתֽוֹ׃ |
7 and to keep: guard [obj] charge his and [obj] charge all [the] congregation to/for face: before tent meeting to/for to serve: minister [obj] service: ministry [the] tabernacle
| וְשָׁמְרוּ אֶת־מִשְׁמַרְתּוֹ וְאֶת־מִשְׁמֶרֶת כָּל־הָעֵדָה לִפְנֵי אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד לַעֲבֹד אֶת־עֲבֹדַת הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ |

| וְשָׁמְרוּ אֶֽת־כָּל־כְּלֵי אֹהֶל מוֹעֵד וְאֶת־מִשְׁמֶרֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לַעֲבֹד אֶת־עֲבֹדַת הַמִּשְׁכָּֽן׃ |
9 and to give: give [obj] [the] Levi to/for Aaron and to/for son: child his to give: give to give: give they(masc.) to/for him from with son: descendant/people Israel
| וְנָתַתָּה אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם לְאַהֲרֹן וּלְבָנָיו נְתוּנִם נְתוּנִם הֵמָּה לוֹ מֵאֵת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
10 and [obj] Aaron and [obj] son: child his to reckon: overseer and to keep: guard [obj] priesthood their and [the] be a stranger [the] approaching to die
| וְאֶת־אַהֲרֹן וְאֶת־בָּנָיו תִּפְקֹד וְשָׁמְרוּ אֶת־כְּהֻנָּתָם וְהַזָּר הַקָּרֵב יוּמָֽת׃ |
11 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
| וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ |
12 and I behold to take: take [obj] [the] Levi from midst son: descendant/people Israel underneath: instead all firstborn firstborn womb from son: descendant/people Israel and to be to/for me [the] Levi
| וַאֲנִי הִנֵּה לָקַחְתִּי אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם מִתּוֹךְ בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל תַּחַת כָּל־בְּכוֹר פֶּטֶר רֶחֶם מִבְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְהָיוּ לִי הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ |
13 for to/for me all firstborn in/on/with day to smite I all firstborn in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt to consecrate: consecate to/for me all firstborn in/on/with Israel from man till animal to/for me to be I LORD
| כִּי לִי כָּל־בְּכוֹר בְּיוֹם הַכֹּתִי כָל־בְּכוֹר בְּאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם הִקְדַּשְׁתִּי לִי כָל־בְּכוֹר בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאָדָם עַד־בְּהֵמָה לִי יִהְיוּ אֲנִי יְהוָֽה׃ |
14 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses in/on/with wilderness (Wilderness of) Sinai to/for to say
| וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה בְּמִדְבַּר סִינַי לֵאמֹֽר׃ |
15 to reckon: list [obj] son: child Levi to/for house: household father their to/for family their all male from son: aged month and above [to] to reckon: list them
| פְּקֹד אֶת־בְּנֵי לֵוִי לְבֵית אֲבֹתָם לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם כָּל־זָכָר מִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁ וָמַעְלָה תִּפְקְדֵֽם׃ |
16 and to reckon: list [obj] them Moses upon lip: word LORD like/as as which to command
| וַיִּפְקֹד אֹתָם מֹשֶׁה עַל־פִּי יְהוָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צֻוָּֽה׃ |
17 and to be these son: child Levi in/on/with name their Gershon and Kohath and Merari
| וַיִּֽהְיוּ־אֵלֶּה בְנֵֽי־לֵוִי בִּשְׁמֹתָם גֵּרְשׁוֹן וּקְהָת וּמְרָרִֽי׃ |
18 and these name son: child Gershon to/for family their Libni and Shimei
| וְאֵלֶּה שְׁמוֹת בְּֽנֵי־גֵרְשׁוֹן לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם לִבְנִי וְשִׁמְעִֽי׃ |
19 and son: child Kohath to/for family their Amram and Izhar Hebron and Uzziel
| וּבְנֵי קְהָת לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם עַמְרָם וְיִצְהָר חֶבְרוֹן וְעֻזִּיאֵֽל׃ |
20 and son: child Merari to/for family their Mahli and Mushi these they(masc.) family [the] Levi to/for house: household father their
| וּבְנֵי מְרָרִי לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם מַחְלִי וּמוּשִׁי אֵלֶּה הֵם מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַלֵּוִי לְבֵית אֲבֹתָֽם׃ |
21 to/for Gershon family [the] Libnite and family [the] Shimeite these they(masc.) family [the] Gershonite
| לְגֵרְשׁוֹן מִשְׁפַּחַת הַלִּבְנִי וּמִשְׁפַּחַת הַשִּׁמְעִי אֵלֶּה הֵם מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּֽי׃ |
22 to reckon: list their in/on/with number all male from son: aged month and above [to] to reckon: list their seven thousand and five hundred
| פְּקֻדֵיהֶם בְּמִסְפַּר כָּל־זָכָר מִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁ וָמָעְלָה פְּקֻדֵיהֶם שִׁבְעַת אֲלָפִים וַחֲמֵשׁ מֵאֽוֹת׃ |
23 family [the] Gershonite after [the] tabernacle to camp sea: west [to]
| מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּי אַחֲרֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן יַחֲנוּ יָֽמָּה׃ |
24 and leader house: household father to/for Gershonite Eliasaph son: child Lael
| וּנְשִׂיא בֵֽית־אָב לַגֵּרְשֻׁנִּי אֶלְיָסָף בֶּן־לָאֵֽל׃ |

| וּמִשְׁמֶרֶת בְּנֵֽי־גֵרְשׁוֹן בְּאֹהֶל מוֹעֵד הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְהָאֹהֶל מִכְסֵהוּ וּמָסַךְ פֶּתַח אֹהֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃ |
26 and curtain [the] court and [obj] covering entrance [the] court which upon [the] tabernacle and upon [the] altar around and [obj] cord his to/for all service: ministry his
| וְקַלְעֵי הֶֽחָצֵר וְאֶת־מָסַךְ פֶּתַח הֶֽחָצֵר אֲשֶׁר עַל־הַמִּשְׁכָּן וְעַל־הַמִּזְבֵּחַ סָבִיב וְאֵת מֵֽיתָרָיו לְכֹל עֲבֹדָתֽוֹ׃ |
27 and to/for Kohath family [the] Amramite and family [the] Izharite and family [the] Hebronite and family [the] Uzzielite these they(masc.) family [the] Kohathite
| וְלִקְהָת מִשְׁפַּחַת הֽ͏ַעַמְרָמִי וּמִשְׁפַּחַת הַיִּצְהָרִי וּמִשְׁפַּחַת הֽ͏ַחֶבְרֹנִי וּמִשְׁפַּחַת הָֽעָזִּיאֵלִי אֵלֶּה הֵם מִשְׁפְּחֹת הַקְּהָתִֽי׃ |
28 in/on/with number all male from son: aged month and above [to] eight thousand and six hundred to keep: guard charge [the] holiness
| בְּמִסְפַּר כָּל־זָכָר מִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁ וָמָעְלָה שְׁמֹנַת אֲלָפִים וְשֵׁשׁ מֵאוֹת שֹׁמְרֵי מִשְׁמֶרֶת הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ |
29 family son: child Kohath to camp upon thigh [the] tabernacle south [to]
| מִשְׁפְּחֹת בְּנֵי־קְהָת יַחֲנוּ עַל יֶרֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּן תֵּימָֽנָה׃ |
30 and leader house: household father to/for family [the] Kohathite Elizaphan son: child Uzziel
| וּנְשִׂיא בֵֽית־אָב לְמִשְׁפְּחֹת הַקְּהָתִי אֶלִיצָפָן בֶּן־עֻזִּיאֵֽל׃ |
31 and charge their [the] ark and [the] table and [the] lampstand and [the] altar and article/utensil [the] holiness which to minister in/on/with them and [the] covering and all service: ministry his
| וּמִשְׁמַרְתָּם הָאָרֹן וְהַשֻּׁלְחָן וְהַמְּנֹרָה וְהַֽמִּזְבְּחֹת וּכְלֵי הַקֹּדֶשׁ אֲשֶׁר יְשָׁרְתוּ בָּהֶם וְהַמָּסָךְ וְכֹל עֲבֹדָתֽוֹ׃ |
32 and leader leader [the] Levi Eleazar son: child Aaron [the] priest punishment to keep: guard charge [the] holiness
| וּנְשִׂיא נְשִׂיאֵי הַלֵּוִי אֶלְעָזָר בֶּן־אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן פְּקֻדַּת שֹׁמְרֵי מִשְׁמֶרֶת הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ |
33 to/for Merari family [the] Mahlite and family [the] Mushite these they(masc.) family Merari
| לִמְרָרִי מִשְׁפַּחַת הַמַּחְלִי וּמִשְׁפַּחַת הַמּוּשִׁי אֵלֶּה הֵם מִשְׁפְּחֹת מְרָרִֽי׃ |

| וּפְקֻדֵיהֶם בְּמִסְפַּר כָּל־זָכָר מִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁ וָמָעְלָה שֵׁשֶׁת אֲלָפִים וּמָאתָֽיִם׃ |
35 and leader house: household father to/for family Merari Zuriel son: child Abihail upon thigh [the] tabernacle to camp north [to]
| וּנְשִׂיא בֵֽית־אָב לְמִשְׁפְּחֹת מְרָרִי צוּרִיאֵל בֶּן־אֲבִיחָיִל עַל יֶרֶךְ הַמִּשְׁכָּן יַחֲנוּ צָפֹֽנָה׃ |

| וְהַחֹנִים לִפְנֵי הַמִּשְׁכָּן קֵדְמָה לִפְנֵי אֹֽהֶל־מוֹעֵד ׀ מִזְרָחָה מֹשֶׁה ׀ וְאַהֲרֹן וּבָנָיו שֹֽׁמְרִים מִשְׁמֶרֶת הַמִּקְדָּשׁ לְמִשְׁמֶרֶת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְהַזָּר הַקָּרֵב יוּמָֽת׃ |
39 all to reckon: list [the] Levi which to reckon: list Moses and Aaron upon lip: word LORD to/for family their all male from son: aged month and above [to] two and twenty thousand
| כָּל־פְּקוּדֵי הַלְוִיִּם אֲשֶׁר פָּקַד מֹשֶׁה וְאַהֲרֹן עַל־פִּי יְהוָה לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָם כָּל־זָכָר מִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁ וָמַעְלָה שְׁנַיִם וְעֶשְׂרִים אָֽלֶף׃ |
40 and to say LORD to(wards) Moses to reckon: list all firstborn male to/for son: descendant/people Israel from son: aged month and above [to] and to lift: count [obj] number name their
| וַיֹּאמֶר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה פְּקֹד כָּל־בְּכֹר זָכָר לִבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל מִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁ וָמָעְלָה וְשָׂא אֵת מִסְפַּר שְׁמֹתָֽם׃ |
41 and to take: take [obj] [the] Levi to/for me I LORD underneath: instead all firstborn in/on/with son: descendant/people Israel and [obj] animal [the] Levi underneath: instead all firstborn in/on/with animal son: descendant/people Israel
| וְלָקַחְתָּ אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם לִי אֲנִי יְהוָה תַּחַת כָּל־בְּכֹר בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאֵת בֶּהֱמַת הַלְוִיִּם תַּחַת כָּל־בְּכוֹר בְּבֶהֱמַת בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
42 and to reckon: list Moses like/as as which to command LORD [obj] him [obj] all firstborn in/on/with son: descendant/people Israel
| וַיִּפְקֹד מֹשֶׁה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֹתוֹ אֶֽת־כָּל־בְּכֹר בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
43 and to be all firstborn male in/on/with number name from son: aged month and above [to] to/for to reckon: list their two and twenty thousand three and seventy and hundred
| וַיְהִי כָל־בְּכוֹר זָכָר בְּמִסְפַּר שֵׁמוֹת מִבֶּן־חֹדֶשׁ וָמַעְלָה לִפְקֻדֵיהֶם שְׁנַיִם וְעֶשְׂרִים אֶלֶף שְׁלֹשָׁה וְשִׁבְעִים וּמָאתָֽיִם׃ |
44 and to speak: speak LORD to(wards) Moses to/for to say
| וַיְדַבֵּר יְהוָה אֶל־מֹשֶׁה לֵּאמֹֽר׃ |
45 to take: take [obj] [the] Levi underneath: instead all firstborn in/on/with son: descendant/people Israel and [obj] animal [the] Levi underneath: instead animal their and to be to/for me [the] Levi I LORD
| קַח אֶת־הַלְוִיִּם תַּחַת כָּל־בְּכוֹר בִּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאֶת־בֶּהֱמַת הַלְוִיִּם תַּחַת בְּהֶמְתָּם וְהָיוּ־לִי הַלְוִיִּם אֲנִי יְהוָֽה׃ |
46 and [obj] ransomed [the] three and [the] seventy and [the] hundred [the] to remain upon [the] Levi from firstborn son: descendant/people Israel
| וְאֵת פְּדוּיֵי הַשְּׁלֹשָׁה וְהַשִּׁבְעִים וְהַמָּאתָיִם הָעֹֽדְפִים עַל־הַלְוִיִּם מִבְּכוֹר בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
47 and to take: take five five shekel to/for head in/on/with shekel [the] holiness to take: take twenty gerah [the] shekel
| וְלָקַחְתָּ חֲמֵשֶׁת חֲמֵשֶׁת שְׁקָלִים לַגֻּלְגֹּלֶת בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּדֶשׁ תִּקָּח עֶשְׂרִים גֵּרָה הַשָּֽׁקֶל׃ |
48 and to give: give [the] silver: money to/for Aaron and to/for son: child his ransomed [the] to remain in/on/with them
| וְנָתַתָּה הַכֶּסֶף לְאַהֲרֹן וּלְבָנָיו פְּדוּיֵי הָעֹדְפִים בָּהֶֽם׃ |
49 and to take: take Moses [obj] silver: money [the] redemption from with [the] to remain upon ransomed [the] Levi
| וַיִּקַּח מֹשֶׁה אֵת כֶּסֶף הַפִּדְיוֹם מֵאֵת הָעֹדְפִים עַל פְּדוּיֵי הַלְוִיִּֽם׃ |
50 from with firstborn son: descendant/people Israel to take: take [obj] [the] silver: money five and sixty and three hundred and thousand in/on/with shekel [the] holiness
| מֵאֵת בְּכוֹר בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לָקַח אֶת־הַכָּסֶף חֲמִשָּׁה וְשִׁשִּׁים וּשְׁלֹשׁ מֵאוֹת וָאֶלֶף בְּשֶׁקֶל הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃ |
51 and to give: give Moses [obj] silver: money ([the] ransomed *Qk) to/for Aaron and to/for son: child his upon lip: word LORD like/as as which to command LORD [obj] Moses
| וַיִּתֵּן מֹשֶׁה אֶת־כֶּסֶף הַפְּדֻיִם לְאַהֲרֹן וּלְבָנָיו עַל־פִּי יְהוָה כַּאֲשֶׁר צִוָּה יְהוָה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ |
