Judges 11
1 and Jephthah [the] Gileadite to be mighty man strength and he/she/it son: child woman to fornicate and to beget Gilead [obj] Jephthah
Et Jephthé de Galaad était un brave guerrier; or il était fils d'une courtisane, et Galaad avait engendré Jephthé.
2 and to beget woman: wife Gilead to/for him son: child and to magnify son: child [the] woman: wife and to drive out: divorce [obj] Jephthah and to say to/for him not to inherit in/on/with house: household father our for son: child woman another you(m. s.)
Et lorsque l'épouse de Galaad lui eut donné des fils et que les fils de l'épouse furent adultes, ils avaient chassé Jephthé en lui disant: Tu ne peux être héritier dans la maison de notre père, car tu es le fils d'une autre femme.
3 and to flee Jephthah from face: before brother: male-sibling his and to dwell in/on/with land: country/planet Tob and to gather to(wards) Jephthah human worthless and to come out: come with him
Alors Jephthé s'était enfui loin de ses frères et s'était établi dans la contrée de Tob. Et des aventuriers affluèrent vers Jephthé, et ils allèrent en course avec lui.
4 and to be from day and to fight son: descendant/people Ammon with Israel
Et quelque temps après survint la guerre des Ammonites contre Israël.
5 and to be like/as as which to fight son: descendant/people Ammon with Israel and to go: went old: elder Gilead to/for to take: bring [obj] Jephthah from land: country/planet Tob
Et comme les Ammonites en étaient venus aux hostilités avec Israël, les Anciens de Galaad partirent pour aller chercher Jephthé au pays de Tob.
6 and to say to/for Jephthah to go: come! [emph?] and to be to/for us to/for chief and to fight in/on/with son: descendant/people Ammon
Et ils dirent à Jephthé: Viens et sois notre général pour nous mener au combat contre les Ammonites. Et Jephthé dit aux Anciens de Galaad:
7 and to say Jephthah to/for old: elder Gilead not you(m. p.) to hate [obj] me and to drive out: drive out me from house: household father my and why? to come (in): come to(wards) me now like/as as which distress to/for you
N'est-ce pas vous qui m'avez haï et chassé de la maison de mon père? Et pourquoi venez-vous à moi maintenant que vous êtes dans l'embarras?
8 and to say old: elder Gilead to(wards) Jephthah to/for so now to return: return to(wards) you and to go: went with us and to fight in/on/with son: descendant/people Ammon and to be to/for us to/for head: leader to/for all to dwell Gilead
Et les Anciens de Galaad dirent à Jephthé: C'est à cause de cela que nous revenons maintenant à toi: viens donc avec nous combattre les Ammonites, et sois notre chef à nous tous les habitants de Galaad.
9 and to say Jephthah to(wards) old: elder Gilead if to return: rescue you(m. p.) [obj] me to/for to fight in/on/with son: descendant/people Ammon and to give: give LORD [obj] them to/for face: before my I to be to/for you to/for head: leader
Et Jephthé dit aux Anciens de Galaad: Si vous me ramenez pour combattre les Ammonites, et que l'Éternel me rende maître d'eux, moi je veux rester votre chef.
10 and to say old: elder Gilead to(wards) Jephthah LORD to be to hear: judge between us if not like/as word your so to make: do
Et les Anciens de Galaad dirent à Jephthé: Que l'Éternel entende ce qui se traite entre nous! Oui, nous ferons ce que tu viens de dire.
11 and to go: went Jephthah with old: elder Gilead and to set: make [the] people [obj] him upon them to/for head: leader and to/for chief and to speak: speak Jephthah [obj] all word his to/for face: before LORD in/on/with Mizpah
Alors Jephthé partit avec les Anciens de Galaad, et le peuple le préposa sur lui-même comme chef et général. Et Jephthé prononça toutes ces paroles en la présence de l'Éternel à Mitspa.
12 and to send: depart Jephthah messenger to(wards) king son: descendant/people Ammon to/for to say what? to/for me and to/for you for to come (in): come to(wards) me to/for to fight in/on/with land: country/planet my
Alors Jephthé dépêcha des messagers au Roi des Ammonites pour lui dire: Qu'avons-nous à démêler ensemble, que tu marches contre moi pour faire la guerre à mon pays?
13 and to say king son: descendant/people Ammon to(wards) messenger Jephthah for to take: take Israel [obj] land: country/planet my in/on/with to ascend: rise he from Egypt from Arnon and till [the] Jabbok and till [the] Jordan and now to return: rescue [emph?] [obj] them in/on/with peace
Et le roi des Ammonites dit aux messagers de Jephthé: C'est qu'Israël s'est emparé de mon pays, lors de sa sortie de l'Egypte, depuis l'Arnon au Jabbok et au Jourdain. Et maintenant restitue-le à l'amiable.
14 and to add: again still Jephthah and to send: depart messenger to(wards) king son: descendant/people Ammon
Alors Jephthé dépêcha de nouveau des messagers au roi des Ammonites
15 and to say to/for him thus to say Jephthah not to take: take Israel [obj] land: country/planet Moab and [obj] land: country/planet son: descendant/people Ammon
pour lui dire: Ainsi parle Jephthé: Israël ne s'est emparé ni du pays de Moab, ni du pays des Ammonites.
16 for in/on/with to ascend: rise they from Egypt and to go: went Israel in/on/with wilderness till sea Red (Sea) and to come (in): come Kadesh [to]
Car après sa sortie de l'Egypte, Israël parcourut le désert jusqu'à la Mer aux algues, et il atteignit Cadès.
17 and to send: depart Israel messenger to(wards) king Edom to/for to say to pass please in/on/with land: country/planet your and not to hear: hear king Edom and also to(wards) king Moab to send: depart and not be willing and to dwell Israel in/on/with Kadesh
Alors Israël envoya des messagers au roi d'Edom pour lui dire: Daigne m'accorder le passage par ton territoire! Mais le roi d'Edom ne consentit pas. Et ils députèrent aussi auprès du roi de Moab, et celui-ci ne voulut pas. Israël resta donc à Cadès.
18 and to go: walk in/on/with wilderness and to turn: surround [obj] land: country/planet Edom and [obj] land: country/planet Moab and to come (in): come from east sun to/for land: country/planet Moab and to camp [emph?] in/on/with side: beside Arnon and not to come (in): come in/on/with border: area Moab for Arnon border: boundary Moab
Et il parcourut le désert, et tourna le pays d'Edom et le pays de Moab, et ils arrivèrent à l'orient du pays de Moab et ils campèrent au delà de l'Arnon, sans entrer sur le territoire de Moab; car l'Arnon forme la frontière de Moab.
19 and to send: depart Israel messenger to(wards) Sihon king [the] Amorite king Heshbon and to say to/for him Israel to pass please in/on/with land: country/planet your till place my
Alors Israël envoya des messagers à Sihon, roi des Amoréens, roi de Hesbon, et Israël lui disait: Daigne m'accorder le passage à travers ton pays jusqu'au lieu où je vais.
20 and not be faithful Sihon [obj] Israel to pass in/on/with border: area his and to gather Sihon [obj] all people: soldiers his and to camp in/on/with Jahaz [to] and to fight with Israel
Mais Sihon ne se crut pas assez sûr des Israélites pour les laisser passer sur son territoire, et Sihon rassembla tout son peuple et campa à Jahtsa et fit la guerre à Israël.
21 and to give: give LORD God Israel [obj] Sihon and [obj] all people: soldiers his in/on/with hand: power Israel and to smite them and to possess: take Israel [obj] all land: country/planet [the] Amorite to dwell [the] land: country/planet [the] he/she/it
Et l'Éternel, Dieu d'Israël, livra Sihon et tout son peuple aux mains des Israélites qui les battirent. Et Israël conquit tout le pays des Amoréens établis dans cette contrée.
22 and to possess: take [obj] all border: area [the] Amorite from Arnon and till [the] Jabbok and from [the] wilderness and till [the] Jordan
Et ils conquirent tout le territoire des Amoréens de l'Arnon au Jabbok et du désert au Jourdain.
23 and now LORD God Israel to possess: take [obj] [the] Amorite from face: before people his Israel and you(m. s.) to possess: take him
Ainsi l'Éternel, Dieu d'Israël, a expulsé les Amoréens devant son peuple d'Israël! et toi, tu voudrais t'emparer de leur pays!
24 not [obj] which to possess: possess you Chemosh God your [obj] him to possess: take and [obj] all which to possess: take LORD God our from face: before our [obj] him to possess: take
N'as-tu pas la propriété de ce dont Camos, ton dieu, t'a mis en possession? De même nous avons la propriété de tout ce dont l'Éternel, notre Dieu, nous a mis en possession.
25 and now be pleasing be pleasing you(m. s.) from Balak son: child Zippor king Moab to contend to contend with Israel if to fight to fight in/on/with them
Et puis, es-tu mieux placé que Balak, fils de Tsippor, roi de Moab? A-t-il cherché querelle aux Israélites ou leur a-t-il fait la guerre?
26 in/on/with to dwell Israel in/on/with Heshbon and in/on/with daughter: village her and in/on/with Aroer and in/on/with daughter: village her and in/on/with all [the] city which upon hand: bank Arnon three hundred year and why? not to rescue in/on/with time [the] he/she/it
Pendant les trois cents ans du séjour des Israélites dans Hesbon et ses annexes, dans Aroër et ses annexes et toutes les villes sises sur les bords de l'Arnon, pourquoi ne les avez-vous pas revendiquées à cette époque-là?
27 and I not to sin to/for you and you(m. s.) to make: do with me distress: evil to/for to fight in/on/with me to judge LORD [the] to judge [the] day: today between son: descendant/people Israel and between son: descendant/people Ammon
Moi, je n'ai pas failli à ton égard, et toi, tu en agis mal avec moi, en me faisant la guerre. Que l'Éternel, qui est Juge, prononce donc aujourd'hui entre les enfants d'Israël et les enfants d'Ammon!
28 and not to hear: hear king son: descendant/people Ammon to(wards) word Jephthah which to send: depart to(wards) him
Mais le roi des Ammonites n'écouta point les raisons que Jephthé lui avait fait alléguer.
29 and to be upon Jephthah spirit LORD and to pass [obj] [the] Gilead and [obj] Manasseh and to pass [obj] Mizpah Gilead and from Mizpah Gilead to pass son: descendant/people Ammon
Alors l'esprit de l'Éternel descendit sur Jephthé, qui, traversant Galaad et Manassé, passa à Mitspa en Galaad et de Mitspa en Galaad marcha contre les Ammonites.
30 and to vow Jephthah vow to/for LORD and to say if to give: give to give: give [obj] son: descendant/people Ammon in/on/with hand: power my
Et Jephthé fit un vœu à l'Éternel en ces termes: Si tu livres les Ammonites entre mes mains,
31 and to be [the] to come out: come which to come out: come from door house: home my to/for to encounter: meet me in/on/with to return: return I in/on/with peace from son: descendant/people Ammon and to be to/for LORD and to ascend: offer up him burnt offering
la personne qui de la porte de ma maison sortira à ma rencontre, moi revenant sain et sauf de la guerre des Ammonites, appartiendra à l'Éternel et je la Lui offrirai en holocauste.
32 and to pass Jephthah to(wards) son: descendant/people Ammon to/for to fight in/on/with them and to give: give them LORD in/on/with hand: power his
Puis Jephthé marcha contre les Ammonites pour engager le combat avec eux. Et l'Éternel les livra entre ses mains.
33 and to smite them from Aroer and till to come (in): towards you Minnith twenty city and till Abel-keramim Abel-keramim wound great: large much and be humble son: descendant/people Ammon from face: before son: descendant/people Israel
Et il les battit depuis Aroër jusque vers Minnith, dans vingt villes, et jusqu'à Abel-Keramim; ce fut une grande défaite et les Ammonites furent abaissés devant les enfants d'Israël.
34 and to come (in): come Jephthah [the] Mizpah to(wards) house: home his and behold daughter his to come out: come to/for to encounter: meet him in/on/with tambourine and in/on/with dance and except he/she/it only nothing to/for him from him son: child or daughter
Et comme Jephthé revenait dans sa maison à Mitspa, voilà que sa fille sortit à sa rencontre avec des tambourins et des chœurs; et elle était seule, unique; il n'avait point d'autres fils ou filles.
35 and to be like/as to see: see he [obj] her and to tear [obj] garment his and to say alas! daughter my to bow to bow me and you(f. s.) to be in/on/with to trouble me and I to open lip my to(wards) LORD and not be able to/for to return: turn back
Et quand il la vit, il déchira ses vêtements et dit: Ah! ma fille! tu m'atterres, tu m'atterres! c'est toi qui me plonges dans l'affliction! J'ai laissé ma bouche promettre à l'Éternel et je ne puis revenir en arrière!
36 and to say to(wards) him father my to open [obj] lip your to(wards) LORD to make: do to/for me like/as as which to come out: speak from lip your after which to make: do to/for you LORD vengeance from enemy your from son: descendant/people Ammon
Et elle lui dit: Mon père, si tu as laissé ta bouche promettre à l'Éternel, traite-moi d'après ce qu'a proféré ta bouche, dès que l'Éternel t'a permis de tirer vengeance de tes ennemis, des enfants d'Ammon.
37 and to say to(wards) father her to make: do to/for me [the] word: thing [the] this to slacken from me two month and to go: went and to go down upon [the] mountain: mount and to weep upon virginity my I (and companion my *QK)
Et elle dit à son père: Qu'une chose me soit accordée: relâche-toi de deux mois en ma faveur, et j'irai m'enfoncer dans les montagnes et y pleurer ma virginité avec mes compagnes.
38 and to say to go: went and to send: let go [obj] her two month and to go: went he/she/it and companion her and to weep upon virginity her upon [the] mountain: mount
Et il lui dit: Va! et il la laissa libre pour deux mois. Et elle s'en alla avec ses compagnes et pleura sa virginité sur les montagnes.
39 and to be from end two month and to return: return to(wards) father her and to make: do to/for her [obj] vow his which to vow and he/she/it not to know man and to be statute: decree in/on/with Israel
Et au bout de deux mois elle revint chez son père et il accomplit sur elle le vœu qu'il avait fait. Et elle ne connut point d'homme.
40 from day: year day: year [to] to go: went daughter Israel to/for to recount to/for daughter Jephthah [the] Gileadite four day: year in/on/with year
Et l'usage s'établit en Israël que toutes les années les filles d'Israël s'en vont pendant quarante jours de l'année louer la fille de Jephthé, de Galaad.
