Judges 1

Und nach Josues Tode fragten die Söhne Israels den Herrn: "Wer von uns soll zuerst in den Kampf wider die Kanaaniter ziehen?"
2 and to say LORD Judah to ascend: rise behold to give: give [obj] [the] land: country/planet in/on/with hand: power his
Da sprach der Herr: "Juda soll hinziehen! Ich gebe das Land in seine Hand."
3 and to say Judah to/for Simeon brother: male-sibling his to ascend: rise with me in/on/with allotted my and to fight in/on/with Canaanite and to go: went also I with you in/on/with allotted your and to go: went with him Simeon
Da sprach Juda zu seinem Bruder Simeon: "Zieh mit mir in mein Losteil! Wir wollen wider die Kanaaniter streiten. Dann ziehe auch ich mit dir in dein Losteil." Und Simeon zog mit ihm.
4 and to ascend: rise Judah and to give: give LORD [obj] [the] Canaanite and [the] Perizzite in/on/with hand: power their and to smite them in/on/with Bezek ten thousand man
Juda zog nun hin, und der Herr gab die Kanaaniter und die Periziter in seine Hand. Sie schlugen diese bei Bezek, 10.000 Mann.

In Bezek stießen sie auf den Zepterträger, kämpften mit ihm und schlugen die Kanaaniter und Periziter.

Der Zepterträger jedoch floh. Sie aber jagten ihm nach, griffen ihn und hieben ihm die Daumen und die großen Zehen ab.

Da sprach der Zepterträger: "Siebzig Könige mit abgehauenen Daumen und Zehen haben unter meinem Tische aufgelesen. Wie ich getan, so hat mir Gott vergolten." Dann brachten sie ihn nach Jerusalem, und er erlitt dort den Tod.

Judas Söhne kämpften nämlich gegen Jerusalem, eroberten es und schlugen es mit des Schwertes Schärfe und steckten die Stadt in Brand.
9 and after to go down son: descendant/people Judah to/for to fight in/on/with Canaanite to dwell [the] mountain: hill country and [the] Negeb and [the] Shephelah
Danach zogen Judas Söhne zum Kampfe gegen die Kanaaniter hinab, die das Gebirge, das Südland und die Niederung bewohnten.

Und Juda zog gegen die Kanaaniter in Hebron. Hebron aber hieß vormals Kirjat Arba. Sie schlugen Sesai, Achiman und Talmai.
11 and to go: went from there to(wards) to dwell Debir and name Debir to/for face: before Kiriath-sannah Kiriath-sannah
Von dort zogen sie gegen Debirs Einwohner. Debir hieß vormals Kirjat Sepher.
12 and to say Caleb which to smite [obj] Kiriath-sannah Kiriath-sannah and to capture her and to give: give(marriage) to/for him [obj] Achsah daughter my to/for woman: wife
Und Kaleb sprach: "Wer Kirjat Sepher bezwingt und einnimmt, dem gebe ich meine Tochter Aksa zum Weibe."
13 and to capture her Othniel son: child Kenaz brother: male-sibling Caleb [the] small: young from him and to give: give(marriage) to/for him [obj] Achsah daughter his to/for woman: wife
Da nahm es des Kenaz Sohn Otniel, Kalebs jüngerer Bruder. Da gab er ihm seine Tochter Aksa zum Weibe.

Als sie hinzog, überlistete sie ihren Vater, da sie von ihm ein Feld wollte. Sie neigte sich nämlich vom Esel, so daß Kaleb sie fragte: "Was ist dir?"

Sie aber sprach zu ihm: "Gib mir doch eine Abschiedsgabe! Du vergibst mich ja nach dem Südland. So gib mir Wasser!" Da gab ihr Kaleb oberirdische und unterirdische Wasserstellen.

Auch Juda zog mit seinem Bruder Simeon weiter. Sie schlugen die Kanaaniter zu Sephat und bannten es. Daher nannte man die Stadt Chorma.
18 and to capture Judah [obj] Gaza and [obj] border: area her and [obj] Ashkelon and [obj] border: area her and [obj] Ekron and [obj] border: area her
Dann eroberte Juda Gaza, Askalon und Ekron je mit ihrem Gebiet.
19 and to be LORD with Judah and to possess: take [obj] [the] mountain: hill country for not to/for to possess: take [obj] to dwell [the] valley for chariot iron to/for them
Und der Herr war mit Juda, und es besetzte das Gebirge; die Talbewohner nämlich konnte es nicht vertreiben, weil sie eiserne Wagen hatten.
20 and to give: give to/for Caleb [obj] Hebron like/as as which to speak: speak Moses and to possess: take from there [obj] three son: descendant/people [the] Anak
Sie gaben nun Hebron dem Kaleb, wie es Moses befohlen. Und er vertrieb daraus die Enaksöhne.
21 and [obj] [the] Jebusite to dwell Jerusalem not to possess: take son: descendant/people Benjamin and to dwell [the] Jebusite with son: descendant/people Benjamin in/on/with Jerusalem till [the] day: today [the] this
Auch die Benjaminiten konnten die Jebusiter, Jerusalems Insassen, nicht vertreiben. So blieben die Jebusiter bei den Söhnen Benjamins bis auf diesen Tag.

Auch die vom Hause Josephs zogen gegen Betel, und der Herr war mit ihnen.
23 and to spy house: household Joseph in/on/with Bethel Bethel and name [the] city to/for face: before Luz
Die vom Hause Josephs ließen nun Betel ausspähen. Die Stadt aber hieß vordem Luz.
24 and to see: see [the] to keep: look at man to come out: come from [the] city and to say to/for him to see: see us please [obj] entrance [the] city and to make: do with you kindness
Die Kundschafter sahen nun einen Mann aus der Stadt kommen und sagten zu ihm: "Zeig uns den Zugang zur Stadt! Wir erweisen dir dafür Gutes."
25 and to see: see them [obj] entrance [the] city and to smite [obj] [the] city to/for lip: edge sword and [obj] [the] man and [obj] all family his to send: let go
Da zeigte er ihnen den Zugang zur Stadt. Und sie schlugen die Stadt mit des Schwertes Schärfe. Den Mann aber ließen sie mit seiner ganzen Familie ziehen.
26 and to go: went [the] man land: country/planet [the] Hittite and to build city and to call: call by name her Luz he/she/it name her till [the] day: today [the] this
Da ging der Mann in das Chittiterland, baute eine Stadt und nannte sie Luz. So heißt sie bis auf diesen Tag.
27 and not to possess: take Manasseh [obj] Beth-shean Beth-shean and [obj] daughter: village her and [obj] Taanach and [obj] daughter: village her and [obj] (to dwell *QK) Dor and [obj] daughter: village her and [obj] to dwell Ibleam and [obj] daughter: village her and [obj] to dwell Megiddo and [obj] daughter: village her and be willing [the] Canaanite to/for to dwell in/on/with land: country/planet [the] this
Auch Manasse vertrieb nicht die Bewohner von Bet Sean, Taanak, Ibleam, Megiddo und ihren Dörfern. Den Kanaanitern nämlich gelang es, in diesem Lande zu bleiben.
28 and to be for to strengthen: strengthen Israel and to set: put [obj] [the] Canaanite to/for taskworker and to possess: take not to possess: take him
Als aber Israel erstarkte, machte es die Kanaaniter zinsbar, vertrieb sie aber nicht ganz.
29 and Ephraim not to possess: take [obj] [the] Canaanite [the] to dwell in/on/with Gezer and to dwell [the] Canaanite in/on/with entrails: among his in/on/with Gezer
Auch Ephraim vertrieb nicht die kanaanitischen Insassen von Gezer. So blieben die Kanaaniter mitten unter ihm zu Gezer.
30 Zebulun not to possess: take [obj] to dwell Kitron and [obj] to dwell Nahalol and to dwell [the] Canaanite in/on/with entrails: among his and to be to/for taskworker
Auch Zabulon vertrieb nicht die Insassen von Kitron noch die von Nahalol. So blieben die Kanaaniter mitten unter ihm, wurden aber zinsbar.
31 Asher not to possess: take [obj] to dwell Acco and [obj] to dwell Sidon and [obj] Ahlab and [obj] Achzib and [obj] Helbah and [obj] Aphek and [obj] Rehob
Asser vertrieb nicht die Insassen von Akko und die von Sidon, Achlab, Akzib, Helba, Aphik und Rechob.
32 and to dwell [the] Asherite in/on/with entrails: among [the] Canaanite to dwell [the] land: country/planet for not to possess: take him
So wohnten Assers Söhne mitten unter Kanaanitern, die im Lande blieben, weil man sie nicht vertrieb.
33 Naphtali not to possess: take [obj] to dwell Beth-shemesh Beth-shemesh and [obj] to dwell Beth-anath Beth-anath and to dwell in/on/with entrails: among [the] Canaanite to dwell [the] land: country/planet and to dwell Beth-shemesh Beth-shemesh and Beth-anath Beth-anath to be to/for them to/for taskworker
Naphtali vertrieb nicht die Insassen von Bet Semes noch die von Bet Anat. So wohnte es mitten unter den Kanaanitern, die im Lande blieben. Doch wurden die Einwohner von Bet Semes und Bet Anat ihnen zinsbar.

Die Amoriter aber drängten Dans Söhne auf das Gebirge; denn sie ließen sie nicht in die Ebene ziehen.
35 and be willing [the] Amorite to/for to dwell in/on/with mountain: mount (Mount) Heres in/on/with Aijalon and in/on/with Shaalbim and to honor: heavy hand: power house: household Joseph and to be to/for taskworker
So gelang es den Amoritern, in Har Cheres, Ajjalon und Saalbin zu bleiben. Als aber die Macht des Josephhauses erstarkte, wurden sie zinsbar.
36 and border: boundary [the] Amorite from ascent Akrabbim from [the] Sela and above [to]
Das Amoritergebiet aber erstreckte sich von der Skorpionensteige, von dem Felsengebirge, weiter hinauf.
