Jeremiah 43

| וַיְהִי֩ כְּכַלּ֨וֹת יִרְמְיָ֜הוּ לְדַבֵּ֣ר אֶל־כָּל־הָעָ֗ם אֶת־כָּל־דִּבְרֵי֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֧ר שְׁלָח֛וֹ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיהֶ֖ם אֲלֵיהֶ֑ם אֵ֥ת כָּל־הַדְּבָרִ֖ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃ ס |
2 and to say Azariah son: child Hoshaiah and Johanan son: child Kareah and all [the] human [the] arrogant to say to(wards) Jeremiah deception you(m. s.) to speak: speak not to send: depart you LORD God our to/for to say not to come (in): come Egypt to/for to sojourn there
| וַיֹּ֨אמֶר עֲזַרְיָ֤ה בֶן־הוֹשַֽׁעְיָה֙ וְיוֹחָנָ֣ן בֶּן־קָרֵ֔חַ וְכָל־הָאֲנָשִׁ֖ים הַזֵּדִ֑ים אֹמְרִ֣ים אֶֽל־יִרְמְיָ֗הוּ שֶׁ֚קֶר אַתָּ֣ה מְדַבֵּ֔ר לֹ֣א שְׁלָחֲךָ֞ יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֵ֙ינוּ֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לֹֽא־תָבֹ֥אוּ מִצְרַ֖יִם לָג֥וּר שָֽׁם׃ |
3 for Baruch son: child Neriah to incite [obj] you in/on/with us because to give: give [obj] us in/on/with hand: power [the] Chaldea to/for to die [obj] us and to/for to reveal: remove [obj] us Babylon
| כִּ֗י בָּרוּךְ֙ בֶּן־נֵ֣רִיָּ֔ה מַסִּ֥ית אֹתְךָ֖ בָּ֑נוּ לְמַעַן֩ תֵּ֨ת אֹתָ֤נוּ בְיַֽד־הַכַּשְׂדִּים֙ לְהָמִ֣ית אֹתָ֔נוּ וּלְהַגְל֥וֹת אֹתָ֖נוּ בָּבֶֽל׃ |
4 and not to hear: obey Johanan son: child Kareah and all ruler [the] strength: soldiers and all [the] people in/on/with voice LORD to/for to dwell in/on/with land: country/planet Judah
| וְלֹֽא־שָׁמַע֩ יוֹחָנָ֨ן בֶּן־קָרֵ֜חַ וְכָל־שָׂרֵ֧י הַחֲיָלִ֛ים וְכָל־הָעָ֖ם בְּק֣וֹל יְהוָ֑ה לָשֶׁ֖בֶת בְּאֶ֥רֶץ יְהוּדָֽה׃ |
5 and to take: take Johanan son: child Kareah and all ruler [the] strength: soldiers [obj] all remnant Judah which to return: return from all [the] nation which to banish there to/for to sojourn in/on/with land: country/planet Judah
| וַיִּקַּ֞ח יוֹחָנָ֤ן בֶּן־קָרֵ֙חַ֙ וְכָל־שָׂרֵ֣י הַחֲיָלִ֔ים אֵ֖ת כָּל־שְׁאֵרִ֣ית יְהוּדָ֑ה אֲשֶׁר־שָׁ֗בוּ מִכָּל־הַגּוֹיִם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר נִדְּחוּ־שָׁ֔ם לָג֖וּר בְּאֶ֥רֶץ יְהוּדָֽה׃ |
6 [obj] [the] great man and [obj] [the] woman and [obj] [the] child and [obj] daughter [the] king and [obj] all [the] soul: person which to rest Nebuzaradan chief guard with Gedaliah son: child Ahikam son: child Shaphan and [obj] Jeremiah [the] prophet and [obj] Baruch son: child Neriah
| אֶֽת־הַ֠גְּבָרִים וְאֶת־הַנָּשִׁ֣ים וְאֶת־הַטַּף֮ וְאֶת־בְּנ֣וֹת הַמֶּלֶךְ֒ וְאֵ֣ת כָּל־הַנֶּ֗פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֤ר הִנִּ֙יחַ֙ נְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֣ן רַב־טַבָּחִ֔ים אֶת־גְּדַלְיָ֖הוּ בֶּן־אֲחִיקָ֣ם בֶּן־שָׁפָ֑ן וְאֵת֙ יִרְמְיָ֣הוּ הַנָּבִ֔יא וְאֶת־בָּר֖וּךְ בֶּן־נֵרִיָּֽהוּ׃ |
7 and to come (in): come land: country/planet Egypt for not to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD and to come (in): come till Tahpanhes
| וַיָּבֹ֙אוּ֙ אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם כִּ֛י לֹ֥א שָׁמְע֖וּ בְּק֣וֹל יְהוָ֑ה וַיָּבֹ֖אוּ עַד־תַּחְפַּנְחֵֽס ׃ ס |
8 and to be word LORD to(wards) Jeremiah in/on/with Tahpanhes to/for to say
| וַיְהִ֤י דְבַר־יְהוָה֙ אֶֽל־יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ בְּתַחְפַּנְחֵ֖ס לֵאמֹֽר׃ |
9 to take: take in/on/with hand your stone great: large and to hide them in/on/with mortar in/on/with brick which in/on/with entrance house: palace Pharaoh in/on/with Tahpanhes to/for eye: seeing human Jew
| קַ֣ח בְּיָדְךָ֞ אֲבָנִ֣ים גְּדֹל֗וֹת וּטְמַנְתָּ֤ם בַּמֶּ֙לֶט֙ בַּמַּלְבֵּ֔ן אֲשֶׁ֛ר בְּפֶ֥תַח בֵּית־פַּרְעֹ֖ה בְּתַחְפַּנְחֵ֑ס לְעֵינֵ֖י אֲנָשִׁ֥ים יְהוּדִֽים׃ |
10 and to say to(wards) them thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel look! I to send: depart and to take: take [obj] Nebuchadnezzar king Babylon servant/slave my and to set: make throne his from above to/for stone [the] these which to hide and to stretch [obj] (pavilion his *Qk) upon them
| וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֡ם כֹּֽה־אָמַר֩ יְהוָ֨ה צְבָא֜וֹת אֱלֹהֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל הִנְנִ֤י שֹׁלֵ֙חַ֙ וְ֠לָקַחְתִּי אֶת־נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֤ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶל֙ עַבְדִּ֔י וְשַׂמְתִּ֣י כִסְא֔וֹ מִמַּ֛עַל לָאֲבָנִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה אֲשֶׁ֣ר טָמָ֑נְתִּי וְנָטָ֥ה אֶת־שפרורו עֲלֵיהֶֽם׃ |
11 (and to come (in): come *QK) and to smite [obj] land: country/planet Egypt which to/for death to/for death and which to/for captivity to/for captivity and which to/for sword to/for sword
| ובאה וְהִכָּ֖ה אֶת־אֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם אֲשֶׁ֧ר לַמָּ֣וֶת לַמָּ֗וֶת וַאֲשֶׁ֤ר לַשְּׁבִי֙ לַשֶּׁ֔בִי וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר לַחֶ֖רֶב לֶחָֽרֶב׃ |
12 and to kindle fire in/on/with house: temple God Egypt and to burn them and to take captive them and to enwrap [obj] land: country/planet Egypt like/as as which to enwrap [the] to pasture [obj] garment his and to come out: come from there in/on/with peace
| וְהִצַּ֣תִּי אֵ֗שׁ בְּבָתֵּי֙ אֱלֹהֵ֣י מִצְרַ֔יִם וּשְׂרָפָ֖ם וְשָׁבָ֑ם וְעָטָה֩ אֶת־אֶ֨רֶץ מִצְרַ֜יִם כַּאֲשֶׁר־יַעְטֶ֤ה הָֽרֹעֶה֙ אֶת־בִּגְד֔וֹ וְיָצָ֥א מִשָּׁ֖ם בְּשָׁלֽוֹם׃ |
13 and to break [obj] pillar Heliopolis Heliopolis which in/on/with land: country/planet Egypt and [obj] house: temple God Egypt to burn in/on/with fire
| וְשִׁבַּ֗ר אֶֽת־מַצְּבוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית שֶׁ֔מֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֖ר בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרָ֑יִם וְאֶת־בָּתֵּ֥י אֱלֹהֵֽי־מִצְרַ֖יִם יִשְׂרֹ֥ף בָּאֵֽשׁ׃ ס |
