Jeremiah 19
1 thus to say LORD to go: went and to buy flask to form: potter earthenware and from old: elder [the] people and from old: elder [the] priest
Voici ce que dit le Seigneur: Va, et reçois des anciens du peuple et des anciens des prêtres une petite bouteille de terre de potier;
2 and to come out: come to(wards) valley son: child (Topheth of son of) Hinnom which entrance gate ([the] Potsherd (Gate) *Qk) and to call: call out there [obj] [the] word which to speak: speak to(wards) you
Et sors vers la vallée du fils d’Ennom, qui est près de l’entrée de la porte d’argile, et tu publieras là les paroles que moi je te dirai.
3 and to say to hear: hear word LORD king Judah and to dwell Jerusalem thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel look! I to come (in): bring distress: harm upon [the] place [the] this which all to hear: hear her to tingle ear his
Et tu diras: Ecoutez la parole du Seigneur, rois de Juda et habitants de Jérusalem: voici ce que dit le Seigneur des armées, Dieu d’Israël: Voilà que moi j’amènerai l’affliction sur ce lieu, en sorte que quiconque en entendra parler aura des tintements d’oreille;
4 because which to leave: forsake me and to alienate [obj] [the] place [the] this and to offer: offer in/on/with him to/for God another which not to know them they(masc.) and father their and king Judah and to fill [obj] [the] place [the] this blood innocent
Parce qu’ils m’ont abandonné, qu’ils ont rendu ce lieu étranger, qu’ils y ont fait des libations à des dieux étrangers, que n’ont connus, ni eux, ni leurs pères, ni les rois de Juda, et parce qu’ils ont rempli ce lieu du sang des innocents.
5 and to build [obj] high place [the] Baal to/for to burn [obj] son: child their in/on/with fire burnt offering to/for Baal which not to command and not to speak: speak and not to ascend: rise upon heart my
Et ils ont bâti des hauts lieux de Baalim pour brûler leurs enfants au feu en holocaustes aux Baalim; choses que je ne leur avais pas ordonnées, ni dites, et qui ne sont pas montées dans mon cœur.
6 to/for so behold day to come (in): come utterance LORD and not to call: call by to/for place [the] this still [the] Topheth and valley son: child (Topheth of son of) Hinnom that if: except if: except valley [the] (Topheth of) Slaughter
À cause de cela, voilà que des jours viennent, dit le Seigneur; et ce lieu ne sera plus appelé Topheth, ni la vallée du fils d’Ennom, mais la Vallée du carnage.
7 and to empty [obj] counsel Judah and Jerusalem in/on/with place [the] this and to fall: kill them in/on/with sword to/for face: before enemy their and in/on/with hand: power to seek soul: life their and to give: give [obj] carcass their to/for food to/for bird [the] heaven and to/for animal [the] land: soil
Et je dissiperai les desseins de Juda et de Jérusalem dans ce lieu; et je les détruirai par le glaive en présence de leurs ennemis, et par la main de ceux qui cherchent leurs âmes; et je donnerai leurs cadavres en pâture aux volatiles du ciel et aux bêtes de la terre.
8 and to set: make [obj] [the] city [the] this to/for horror: appalled and to/for hissing all to pass upon her be desolate: appalled and to whistle upon all wound her
Et je ferai de cette cité un objet de stupeur et de sifflement; quiconque passera par elle sera stupéfié, et il sifflera sur toutes ses plaies.
9 and to eat them [obj] flesh son: child their and [obj] flesh daughter their and man: anyone flesh neighbor his to eat in/on/with siege and in/on/with distress which to press to/for them enemy their and to seek soul: life their
Et je les nourrirai des chairs de leurs fils, et des chairs de leurs filles; et chacun mangera la chair de son ami durant le siège, et dans la détresse où les réduiront leurs ennemis et ceux qui cherchent leurs âmes.
10 and to break [the] flask to/for eye: seeing [the] human [the] to go: went with you
Et tu briseras la petite bouteille sous les yeux des hommes qui iront avec toi.
11 and to say to(wards) them thus to say LORD Hosts thus to break [obj] [the] people [the] this and [obj] [the] city [the] this like/as as which to break [obj] article/utensil [the] to form: potter which not be able to/for to heal still and in/on/with Topheth to bury from nothing place to/for to bury
Et tu leur diras: Voici ce que dit le Seigneur des armées: Je briserai ce peuple et cette cité, comme est brisé ce vase du potier qui ne peut plus être réparé; et c’est à Topheth qu’ils seront ensevelis, parce qu’il n’y aura pas d’autre lieu pour ensevelir.
12 so to make: do to/for place [the] this utterance LORD and to/for to dwell his and to/for to give: make [obj] [the] city [the] this like/as Topheth
Ainsi je ferai à ce lieu et à ses habitants, dit le Seigneur; et je rendrai cette cité semblable à Topheth.
13 and to be house: home Jerusalem and house: home king Judah like/as place [the] Topheth [the] unclean to/for all [the] house: home which to offer: offer upon roof their to/for all army [the] heaven and to pour drink offering to/for God another
Et les maisons de Jérusalem et les maisons des rois de Juda seront comme le lieu de Topheth, impures: toutes maisons sur les toits desquelles ils ont sacrifié à toute la milice du ciel, et ils ont fait de nombreuses libations à des dieux étrangers.
14 and to come (in): come Jeremiah from [the] Topheth which to send: depart him LORD there to/for to prophesy and to stand: stand in/on/with court house: temple LORD and to say to(wards) all [the] people
Or Jérémie vint de Topheth où l’avait envoyé le Seigneur, pour prophétiser; et il se tint dans le parvis de la maison du Seigneur, et il dit à tout le peuple:
15 thus to say LORD Hosts God Israel look! I (to come (in): bring *Qk) to(wards) [the] city [the] this and upon all city her [obj] all [the] distress: harm which to speak: promise upon her for to harden [obj] neck their to/for lest to hear: hear [obj] word my
Voici ce que dit le Seigneur des armées. Dieu d’Israël: Voilà que moi j’amènerai sur cette cité et sur toutes ses villes, tous les maux que j’ai annoncés contre elle, parce qu’ils ont rendu leur cou inflexible, afin de ne pas écouter mes paroles.
