౧ఆ సమయంలో బబులోను రాజు, బలదాను కొడుకు అయిన మెరోదక్ బలదాను హిజ్కియా జబ్బు చేసి బాగుపడ్డాడని విని తన రాయబారులతో ఒక కానుకతోబాటు శుభాకాంక్షల సందేశాన్ని అతనికి పంపించాడు.
2 and to rejoice upon them Hezekiah and to see: see them [obj] house: home (treasure his *Qk) [obj] [the] silver: money and [obj] [the] gold and [obj] [the] spice and [obj] [the] oil [the] pleasant and [obj] all house: home article/utensil his and [obj] all which to find in/on/with treasure his not to be word: thing which not to see: see them Hezekiah in/on/with house: home his and in/on/with all dominion his
౨హిజ్కియా వారిని లోపలికి రప్పించి, తన ఇంటిలో, రాజ్యంలో ఉన్న సమస్త వస్తువుల్లో దేనిని దాచిపెట్టకుండా తన సామగ్రి దాచే గదులు, వెండి బంగారాలు, సుగంధద్రవ్యాలు, పరిమళ తైలం, ఆయుధశాల మొదలైన వాటిలో ఉన్న తన పదార్థాలన్నిటినీ వారికి చూపించాడు.

౩అప్పుడు యెషయా ప్రవక్త హిజ్కియా దగ్గరికి వచ్చి “ఆ మనుషులు ఏమన్నారు? వారు ఎక్కడ నుండి వచ్చారు?” అని అడిగాడు. హిజ్కియా “వారు బబులోను అనే దూరదేశం నుంచి వచ్చారు” అని చెప్పాడు.

౪“వాళ్ళు నీ ఇంటిలో ఏమేమి చూశారు?” అని అడిగినప్పుడు, హిజ్కియా “నా వస్తువుల్లో దేనినీ దాచకుండా నా ఇంటిలో ఉన్న సమస్తాన్నీ నేను వారికి చూపించాను” అన్నాడు.

౫అప్పుడు యెషయా హిజ్కియాతో ఇలా అన్నాడు. “యెహోవా చెబుతున్న మాట విను.

౬రాబోయే రోజుల్లో ఏమీ మిగలకుండా నీ ఇంటిలో ఉన్న సమస్తాన్నీ, ఈ రోజువరకూ నీ పూర్వికులు పోగుచేసి దాచిపెట్టినదంతా బబులోను పట్టణానికి దోచుకుపోతారని సేనల అధిపతి అయిన యెహోవా సెలవిస్తున్నాడు.
7 and from son: child your which to come out: come from you which to beget to take: take and to be eunuch in/on/with temple: palace king Babylon
౭నీ గర్భంలో పుట్టిన నీ కొడుకులను బబులోను రాజనగరంలో నపుంసకులుగా చేయడానికి వారు తీసుకుపోతారు.”

౮అందుకు హిజ్కియా “నువ్వు తెలియజేసిన యెహోవా ఆజ్ఞ ప్రకారం జరగడం మంచిదే. అయితే నా జీవితకాలమంతటిలో నాకు శాంతిభద్రతలు, క్షేమం ఉండు గాక” అని యెషయాతో అన్నాడు.
