Hosea 5
1 to hear: hear this [the] priest and to listen house: household Israel and house: household [the] king to listen for to/for you [the] justice: judgement for snare to be to/for Mizpah and net to spread upon (Mount) Tabor
| שִׁמְעוּ־זֹאת הַכֹּהֲנִים וְהַקְשִׁיבוּ ׀ בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל וּבֵית הַמֶּלֶךְ הַאֲזִינוּ כִּי לָכֶם הַמִּשְׁפָּט כִּֽי־פַח הֱיִיתֶם לְמִצְפָּה וְרֶשֶׁת פְּרוּשָׂה עַל־תָּבֽוֹר׃ |
2 and slaughtering rebellion be deep and I discipline to/for all their
| וְשַׁחֲטָה שֵׂטִים הֶעְמִיקוּ וַאֲנִי מוּסָר לְכֻלָּֽם׃ |
3 I to know Ephraim and Israel not to hide from me for now to fornicate Ephraim to defile Israel
| אֲנִי יָדַעְתִּי אֶפְרַיִם וְיִשְׂרָאֵל לֹֽא־נִכְחַד מִמֶּנִּי כִּי עַתָּה הִזְנֵיתָ אֶפְרַיִם נִטְמָא יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ |
4 not to give: allow deed their to/for to return: return to(wards) God their for spirit fornication in/on/with entrails: among their and [obj] LORD not to know
| לֹא יִתְּנוּ מַעַלְלֵיהֶם לָשׁוּב אֶל־אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶם כִּי רוּחַ זְנוּנִים בְּקִרְבָּם וְאֶת־יְהוָה לֹא יָדָֽעוּ׃ |

| וְעָנָה גְאֽוֹן־יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּפָנָיו וְיִשְׂרָאֵל וְאֶפְרַיִם יִכָּֽשְׁלוּ בַּעֲוֺנָם כָּשַׁל גַּם־יְהוּדָה עִמָּֽם׃ |

| בְּצֹאנָם וּבִבְקָרָם יֵֽלְכוּ לְבַקֵּשׁ אֶת־יְהוָה וְלֹא יִמְצָאוּ חָלַץ מֵהֶֽם׃ |

| בַּיהוָה בָּגָדוּ כִּֽי־בָנִים זָרִים יָלָדוּ עַתָּה יֹאכְלֵם חֹדֶשׁ אֶת־חֶלְקֵיהֶֽם׃ |

| תִּקְעוּ שׁוֹפָר בַּגִּבְעָה חֲצֹצְרָה בָּרָמָה הָרִיעוּ בֵּית אָוֶן אַחֲרֶיךָ בִּנְיָמִֽין׃ |
9 Ephraim to/for horror: destroyed to be in/on/with day rebuke in/on/with tribe Israel to know be faithful
| אֶפְרַיִם לְשַׁמָּה תִֽהְיֶה בְּיוֹם תּֽוֹכֵחָה בְּשִׁבְטֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל הוֹדַעְתִּי נֶאֱמָנָֽה׃ |

| הָיוּ שָׂרֵי יְהוּדָה כְּמַסִּיגֵי גְּבוּל עֲלֵיהֶם אֶשְׁפּוֹךְ כַּמַּיִם עֶבְרָתִֽי׃ |
11 to oppress Ephraim to crush justice: judgement for be willing to go: follow after command
| עָשׁוּק אֶפְרַיִם רְצוּץ מִשְׁפָּט כִּי הוֹאִיל הָלַךְ אַחֲרֵי־צָֽו׃ |
12 and I like/as moth to/for Ephraim and like/as rottenness to/for house: household Judah
| וַאֲנִי כָעָשׁ לְאֶפְרָיִם וְכָרָקָב לְבֵית יְהוּדָֽה׃ |
13 and to see: see Ephraim [obj] sickness his and Judah [obj] wound his and to go: went Ephraim to(wards) Assyria and to send: depart to(wards) king `great` and he/she/it not be able to/for to heal to/for you and not to cure from you wound
| וַיַּרְא אֶפְרַיִם אֶת־חָלְיוֹ וִֽיהוּדָה אֶת־מְזֹרוֹ וַיֵּלֶךְ אֶפְרַיִם אֶל־אַשּׁוּר וַיִּשְׁלַח אֶל־מֶלֶךְ יָרֵב וְהוּא לֹא יוּכַל לִרְפֹּא לָכֶם וְלֹֽא־יִגְהֶה מִכֶּם מָזֽוֹר׃ |
14 for I like/as lion to/for Ephraim and like/as lion to/for house: household Judah I I to tear and to go: went to lift: bear and nothing to rescue
| כִּי אָנֹכִי כַשַּׁחַל לְאֶפְרַיִם וְכַכְּפִיר לְבֵית יְהוּדָה אֲנִי אֲנִי אֶטְרֹף וְאֵלֵךְ אֶשָּׂא וְאֵין מַצִּֽיל׃ |
15 to go: continue to return: return to(wards) place my till which be guilty and to seek face my in/on/with distress to/for them to seek me
| אֵלֵךְ אָשׁוּבָה אֶל־מְקוֹמִי עַד אֲשֶֽׁר־יֶאְשְׁמוּ וּבִקְשׁוּ פָנָי בַּצַּר לָהֶם יְשַׁחֲרֻֽנְנִי׃ |
