Genesis 50
1 and to fall: fall Joseph upon face father his and to weep upon him and to kiss to/for him
Toen viel Jozef op zijns vaders aangezicht, en hij weende over hem, en kuste hem.
2 and to command Joseph [obj] servant/slave his [obj] [the] to heal to/for to spice [obj] father his and to spice [the] to heal [obj] Israel
En Jozef gebood zijn knechten, den medicijnmeesters, dat zij zijn vader balsemen zouden; en de medicijnmeesters balsemden Israel.
3 and to fill to/for him forty day for so to fill day [the] embalming and to weep [obj] him Egyptian seventy day
En veertig dagen werden aan hem vervuld; want alzo werden vervuld de dagen dergenen, die gebalsemd werden; en de Egyptenaars beweenden hem zeventig dagen.
4 and to pass day weeping his and to speak: speak Joseph to(wards) house: household Pharaoh to/for to say if please to find favor in/on/with eye your to speak: speak please in/on/with ear: to ears Pharaoh to/for to say
Als nu de dagen zijns bewenens over waren, zo sprak Jozef tot het huis van Farao, zeggende: Indien ik nu genade gevonden heb in uw ogen, spreekt toch voor de oren van Farao, zeggende:
5 father my to swear me to/for to say behold I to die in/on/with grave my which to pierce to/for me in/on/with land: country/planet Canaan there [to] to bury me and now to ascend: rise please and to bury [obj] father my and to return: return
Mijn vader heeft mij doen zweren, zeggende: Zie, ik sterf; in mijn graf, dat ik mij in het land Kanaan gegraven heb, daar zult gij mij begraven! Nu dan, laat mij toch optrekken, dat ik mijn vader begrave, dan zal ik wederkomen.
6 and to say Pharaoh to ascend: rise and to bury [obj] father your like/as as which to swear you
En Farao zeide: Trek op en begraaf uw vader, gelijk als hij u heeft doen zweren.
7 and to ascend: rise Joseph to/for to bury [obj] father his and to ascend: rise with him all servant/slave Pharaoh old: elder house: household his and all old: elder land: country/planet Egypt
En Jozef toog op, om zijn vader te begraven; en met hem togen op alle Farao's knechten, de oudsten van zijn huis, en al de oudsten des lands van Egypte;
8 and all house: household Joseph and brother: male-sibling his and house: household father his except child their and flock their and cattle their to leave: forsake in/on/with land: country/planet Goshen
Daartoe het ganse huis van Jozef, en zijn broeders, en het huis zijns vaders; alleen hun kleine kinderen, en hun schapen, en hun runderen lieten zij in het land Gosen.
9 and to ascend: rise with him also chariot also horseman and to be [the] camp heavy much
En met hem togen op, zo wagenen als ruiteren; en het was een zeer zwaar heir.
10 and to come (in): come till threshing floor [the] Atad which in/on/with side: beyond [the] Jordan and to mourn there mourning great: large and heavy much and to make to/for father his mourning seven day
Toen zij nu aan het plein van het doornbos kwamen, dat aan gene zijde van de Jordaan is, hielden zij daar een grote en zeer zware rouwklage; en hij maakte zijn vader een rouw van zeven dagen.
11 and to see: see to dwell [the] land: country/planet [the] Canaanite [obj] [the] mourning in/on/with threshing floor [the] Atad and to say mourning heavy this to/for Egypt upon so to call: call by name her Abel-mizraim Abel-mizraim which in/on/with side: beyond [the] Jordan
Als de inwoners des lands, de Kanaanieten, dien rouw zagen op het plein van het doornbos, zo zeiden zij: Dit is een zware rouw der Egyptenaren; daarom noemde men haar naam Abel-Mizraim, die aan het veer van de Jordaan is.

En zijn zonen deden hem, gelijk als hij hun geboden had;

Want zijn zonen voerden hem in het land Kanaan, en begroeven hem in de spelonk des akkers van Machpela, welke Abraham met den akker gekocht had tot een erfbegrafenis van Efron, den Hethiet, tegenover Mamre.

Daarna keerde Jozef weder in Egypte, hij en zijn broeders, en allen, die met hem opgetogen waren, om zijn vader te begraven, nadat hij zijn vader begraven had.
15 and to see: see brother: male-sibling Joseph for to die father their and to say if to hate us Joseph and to return: pay to return: pay to/for us [obj] all [the] distress: evil which to wean [obj] him
Toen Jozefs broeders zagen, dat hun vader dood was, zo zeiden zij: Misschien zal ons Jozef haten, en hij zal ons gewisselijk vergelden al het kwaad, dat wij hem aangedaan hebben.
16 and to command to(wards) Joseph to/for to say father your to command to/for face: before death his to/for to say
Daarom ontboden zij aan Jozef, zeggende: Uw vader heeft bevolen voor zijn dood, zeggende:
17 thus to say to/for Joseph Please! to lift: forgive please transgression brother: male-sibling your and sin their for distress: evil to wean you and now to lift: forgive please to/for transgression servant/slave God father your and to weep Joseph in/on/with to speak: speak they to(wards) him
Zo zult gij tot Jozef zeggen: Ei, vergeef toch de overtreding uwer broederen, en hun zonde; want zij hebben u kwaad aangedaan; maar nu vergeef toch de overtreding der dienaren van den God uws vaders! En Jozef weende, als zij tot hem spraken.

Daarna kwamen ook zijn broeders, en vielen voor hem neder, en zeiden: Zie, wij zijn u tot knechten!
19 and to say to(wards) them Joseph not to fear for underneath: instead God I
En Jozef zeide tot hen: Vreest niet; want ben ik in de plaats van God?
20 and you(m. p.) to devise: devise upon me distress: evil God to devise: devise her to/for welfare because to make: do like/as day: today [the] this to/for to live people many
Gijlieden wel, gij hebt kwaad tegen mij gedacht; doch God heeft dat ten goede gedacht; opdat Hij deed, gelijk het te dezen dage is, om een groot volk in het leven te behouden.
21 and now not to fear I to sustain [obj] you and [obj] child your and to be sorry: comfort [obj] them and to speak: speak upon heart their
Nu dan, vreest niet! Ik zal u en uw kleine kinderen onderhouden. Zo troostte hij hen, en sprak naar hun hart.
22 and to dwell Joseph in/on/with Egypt he/she/it and house: household father his and to live Joseph hundred and ten year
Jozef dan woonde in Egypte, hij en het huis zijns vaders; en Jozef leefde honderd en tien jaren.
23 and to see: see Joseph to/for Ephraim son: descendant/people third also son: descendant/people Machir son: descendant/people Manasseh to beget upon knee Joseph
En Jozef zag van Efraim kinderen, van het derde gelid; ook werden de zonen van Machir, den zoon van Manasse, op Jozefs knieen geboren.
24 and to say Joseph to(wards) brother: male-sibling his I to die and God to reckon: visit to reckon: visit [obj] you and to ascend: establish [obj] you from [the] land: country/planet [the] this to(wards) [the] land: country/planet which to swear to/for Abraham to/for Isaac and to/for Jacob
En Jozef zeide tot zijn broederen: Ik sterf; maar God zal u gewisselijk bezoeken, en Hij zal u doen optrekken uit dit land, in het land, hetwelk hij aan Abraham, Izak en Jakob gezworen heeft.
25 and to swear Joseph [obj] son: descendant/people Israel to/for to say to reckon: visit to reckon: visit God [obj] you and to ascend: establish [obj] bone my from this
En Jozef deed de zonen van Israel zweren, zeggende: God zal u gewisselijk bezoeken, zo zult gij mijn beenderen van hier opvoeren!
26 and to die Joseph son: aged hundred and ten year and to spice [obj] him and to put in/on/with ark in/on/with Egypt
En Jozef stierf, honderd en tien jaren oud zijnde; en zij balsemden hem, en men leide hem in een kist in Egypte.
