Genesis 4
1 and [the] the man (Adam) to know [obj] Eve woman: wife his and to conceive and to beget [obj] Cain and to say to buy man with LORD
| و آدم، زن خود حوا را بشناخت و او حامله شده، قائن را زایید. و گفت: «مردی از یهوه حاصل نمودم.» | ۱ |
2 and to add: again to/for to beget [obj] brother: male-sibling his [obj] Abel and to be Abel to pasture flock and Cain to be to serve: labour land: soil
| و بار دیگر برادر او هابیل رازایید. و هابیل گله بان بود، و قائن کارکن زمین بود. | ۲ |
3 and to be from end day and to come (in): bring Cain from fruit [the] land: soil offering to/for LORD
| و بعد از مرور ایام، واقع شد که قائن هدیه‌ای ازمحصول زمین برای خداوند آورد. | ۳ |
4 and Abel to come (in): bring also he/she/it from firstborn flock his and from fat their and to gaze LORD to(wards) Abel and to(wards) offering his
| و هابیل نیزاز نخست زادگان گله خویش و پیه آنها هدیه‌ای آورد. و خداوند هابیل و هدیه او را منظورداشت، | ۴ |
5 and to(wards) Cain and to(wards) offering his not to gaze and to be incensed to/for Cain much and to fall: angry face: angry his
| اما قائن و هدیه او را منظور نداشت. پس خشم قائن به شدت افروخته شده، سر خود رابزیر افکند. | ۵ |
6 and to say LORD to(wards) Cain to/for what? to be incensed to/for you and to/for what? to fall: fall face your
| آنگاه خداوند به قائن گفت: «چراخشمناک شدی؟ و چرا سر خود را بزیرافکندی؟ | ۶ |
7 not if be good elevation and if not be good to/for entrance sin to stretch and to(wards) you desire his and you(m. s.) to rule in/on/with him
| اگر نیکویی می‌کردی، آیا مقبول نمی شدی؟ و اگر نیکویی نکردی، گناه بر در، درکمین است و اشتیاق تو دارد، اما تو بر وی مسلطشوی.» | ۷ |

| و قائن با برادر خود هابیل سخن گفت. و واقع شد چون در صحرا بودند، قائن بر برادر خودهابیل برخاسته او را کشت. | ۸ |
9 and to say LORD to(wards) Cain where? Abel brother: male-sibling your and to say not to know to keep: guard brother: male-sibling my I
| پس خداوند به قائن گفت: «برادرت هابیل کجاست؟» گفت: «نمی دانم، مگر پاسبان برادرم هستم؟» | ۹ |
10 and to say what? to make: do voice blood brother: male-sibling your to cry to(wards) me from [the] land: soil
| گفت: «چه کرده‌ای؟ خون برادرت از زمین نزد من فریادبرمی آورد! | ۱۰ |
11 and now to curse you(m. s.) from [the] land: soil which to open [obj] lip her to/for to take: recieve [obj] blood brother: male-sibling your from hand your
| و اکنون تو ملعون هستی از زمینی که دهان خود را باز کرد تا خون برادرت را ازدستت فرو برد. | ۱۱ |
12 for to serve: labour [obj] [the] land: soil not to add: again to give: give strength her to/for you to shake and to wander to be in/on/with land: country/planet
| هر گاه کار زمین کنی، هماناقوت خود را دیگر به تو ندهد. و پریشان و آواره در جهان خواهی بود.» | ۱۲ |
13 and to say Cain to(wards) LORD great: large iniquity: punishment my from to lift: bear
| قائن به خداوند گفت: «عقوبتم از تحملم زیاده است. | ۱۳ |
14 look! to drive out: drive out [obj] me [the] day from upon face: surface [the] land: soil and from face your to hide and to be to shake and to wander in/on/with land: country/planet and to be all to find me to kill me
| اینک مراامروز بر روی زمین مطرود ساختی، و از روی تو پنهان خواهم بود. و پریشان و آواره درجهان خواهم بود و واقع می‌شود هر‌که مرایابد، مرا خواهد کشت.» | ۱۴ |
15 and to say to/for him LORD to/for so all to kill Cain sevenfold to avenge and to set: put LORD to/for Cain sign: indicator to/for lest to smite [obj] him all to find him
| خداوند به وی گفت: «پس هر‌که قائن را بکشد، هفت چندان انتقام گرفته شود.» و خداوند به قائن نشانی‌ای داد که هر‌که او را یابد، وی را نکشد. | ۱۵ |
16 and to come out: come Cain from to/for face LORD and to dwell in/on/with land: country/planet Nod east Eden
| پس قائن از حضور خداوند بیرون رفت ودر زمین نود، بطرف شرقی عدن، ساکن شد. | ۱۶ |
17 and to know Cain [obj] woman: wife his and to conceive and to beget [obj] Enoch and to be to build city and to call: call by name [the] city like/as name son: child his Enoch
| و قائن زوجه خود را شناخت. پس حامله شده، خنوخ را زایید. و شهری بنا می‌کرد، و آن شهر را به اسم پسر خود، خنوخ نام نهاد. | ۱۷ |
18 and to beget to/for Enoch [obj] Irad and Irad to beget [obj] Mehujael and Mehujael to beget [obj] Methushael and Methushael to beget [obj] Lamech
| وبرای خنوخ عیراد متولد شد، و عیراد، محویائیل را آورد، و محویائیل، متوشائیل را آورد، ومتوشائیل، لمک را آورد. | ۱۸ |
19 and to take: marry to/for him Lamech two woman: wife name [the] one Adah and name [the] second Zillah
| و لمک، دو زن برای خود گرفت، یکی را عاده نام بود و دیگری را ظله. | ۱۹ |
20 and to beget Adah [obj] Jabal he/she/it to be father to dwell tent and livestock
| و عاده، یابال را زایید. وی پدر خیمه نشینان وصاحبان مواشی بود. | ۲۰ |
21 and name brother: male-sibling his Jubal he/she/it to be father all to capture lyre and pipe
| و نام برادرش یوبال بود. وی پدر همه نوازندگان بربط و نی بود. | ۲۱ |
22 and Zillah also he/she/it to beget [obj] Tubal-cain Tubal-cain to sharpen all artificer bronze and iron and sister Tubal-cain Tubal-cain Naamah
| و ظله نیز توبل قائن را زایید، که صانع هر آلت مس وآهن بود. و خواهر توبل قائن، نعمه بود. | ۲۲ |
23 and to say Lamech to/for woman: wife his Adah and Zillah to hear: hear voice my woman: wife Lamech to listen word my for man to kill to/for wound my and youth to/for wound my
| و لمک به زنان خود گفت: «ای عاده و ظله، قول مرابشنوید! ای زنان لمک، سخن مرا گوش گیرید! زیرا مردی را کشتم بسبب جراحت خود، وجوانی را بسبب ضرب خویش. | ۲۳ |
24 for sevenfold to avenge Cain and Lamech seventy and seven
| اگر برای قائن هفت چندان انتقام گرفته شود، هر آینه برای لمک، هفتاد و هفت چندان.» | ۲۴ |
25 and to know Adam still [obj] woman: wife his and to beget son: child and to call: call by [obj] name his Seth for to set: appoint to/for me God seed: children another underneath: instead Abel for to kill him Cain
| پس آدم بار دیگرزن خود را شناخت، و او پسری بزاد و او را شیث نام نهاد، زیرا گفت: «خدا نسلی دیگر به من قرارداد، به عوض هابیل که قائن او را کشت.» | ۲۵ |
26 and to/for Seth also he/she/it to beget son: child and to call: call by [obj] name his Enosh then to profane/begin: begin to/for to call: call to in/on/with name LORD
| وبرای شیث نیز پسری متولد شد و او را انوش نامید. در آنوقت به خواندن اسم یهوه شروع کردند. | ۲۶ |
