၁အိန္ဒိယပြည်မှစ၍ ကုရှပြည်တိုင်အောင် တိုင်းပြည်တရာနှစ်ဆယ်ခုနစ်ပြည်တို့ကို အစိုးရသော ရှင်ဘုရင် အာရွှေရုသည်၊

၂ရှုရှန်နန်းတော် ရာဇပလ္လင်ပေါ်မှာ ထိုင်၍ နန်းစံသုံးနှစ်တွင်၊
3 in/on/with year three to/for to reign him to make: offer feast to/for all ruler his and servant/slave his strength: soldiers Persia and Media [the] noble and ruler [the] province to/for face: before his
၃ပေရသိဗိုလ်၊ မေဒိဗိုလ်များ၊ အပြည်ပြည်သော မှူးမတ်ဝန်မင်းများတို့ကို ခေါ်၍၊ မှူးတော် မတ်တော် ကျွန်တော်အပေါင်းတို့အဘို့ ပွဲလုပ်တော်မူ၏။

၄ထိုအခါနိုင်ငံတော်စည်းစိမ်၊ ဘုန်းအာနုဘော် တော်ကို အရက်တရာရှစ်ဆယ်ပတ်လုံး ပြတော်မူ၏။

၅ထိုကာလလွန်ပြီးမှ၊ ရှင်ဘုရင်သည် ရှုရှန် နန်းတော်၌ စည်းဝေးသောသူ အကြီးအငယ်အပေါင်းတို့ အဘို့ နန်းတော်အနားဥယျာဉ်တော်ဝင်းထဲမှာ ခုနစ်ရက် ပတ်လုံးပွဲခံတော်မူ၏။

၆ငွေကွင်းတပ်သော ကျောက်ဖြူတိုင်တို့၌ မောင်း သော ပိတ်ချောကြိုးဖြင့် ဆွဲကာသော ပိတ်ချောကုလား အဖြူ အစိမ်းအပြာတို့နှင့်၎င်း၊ ခင်းသောကျောက်ပြား အနီအပြာအဖြူအနက်တို့အပေါ်မှာ ထားသော ရွှေငွေ အနေအထိုင်တို့နှင့်၎င်း ဥယျာဉ်တော်သည် ပြည့်စုံ၏။

၇ရှင်ဘုရင်စည်းစိမ်နှင့် လျော်စွာ ထူးခြားသော ရွှေဖလားတို့နှင့် များစွာသော စပျစ်ရည်ကို သောက်ကြ ၏။

၈စပျစ်ရည် သောက်ခြင်းအမှုသည် တရား အတိုင်း ဖြစ်၏။ အဘယ်သူကိုမျှ အနိုင်မသောက်စေ၊ လူအပေါင်းတို့သည် ကိုယ်အလို အလျောက်ပြုကြမည် အကြောင်း၊ နန်းတော်အရာရှိအပေါင်းတို့ကို ရှင်ဘုရင် မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

၉မိဖုရားဝါရှတိသည်လည်း၊ ရှင်ဘုရင် အာရွှေရု နန်းတော်သား မိန်းမတို့အဘို့ ပွဲလုပ်လေ၏။
10 in/on/with day [the] seventh like/as be pleasing heart [the] king in/on/with wine to say to/for Mehuman Biztha Harbona Bigtha and Abagtha Zethar and Carkas seven [the] eunuch [the] to minister with face: before [the] king Ahasuerus
၁၀မိဖုရားဝါရှတိသည် အဆင်းလှသောကြောင့်၊
11 to/for to come (in): bring [obj] Vashti [the] queen to/for face: before [the] king in/on/with crown royalty to/for to see: see [the] people and [the] ruler [obj] beauty her for pleasant appearance he/she/it
၁၁ခုနစ်ရက်မြောက်သော နေ့၌ ရှင်ဘုရင်သည် စပျစ်ရည် သောက်၍ ရွှင်လန်းသော စိတ်ရှိသောအခါ၊ ဖိဖုရား အဆင်းလှခြင်း အသရေကို မင်းများနှင့် လူများတို့အား ပြလိုသောငှါ၊ မိဖုရားဝါရှတိကို ရာဇသရဖူဆောင်းစေ၍၊ အထံတော်သို့ ဆောင်ခဲ့ရမည်အကြောင်း၊ မဟုမန်၊ ဗိဇသ၊ ဟာဗောန၊ ဗိဂသ၊ အဗာဂသ၊ ဇေသာ၊ ကာကတ် တည်းဟူသော အမှုတော်ထမ်း မိန်းမစိုးခုနစ်ယောက် တို့ကို မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

၁၂သို့ရာတွင် မိန်းမစိုးဆင့်ဆိုသော အမိန့်တော်ကို၊ မိဖုရားသည် ငြင်းဆန်၍ မလာဘဲနေ၏။ ထိုကြောင့် ရှင်ဘုရင်သည် အမျက်ထွက်၍၊ ဒေါသမီးလောင်လျက် နေတော်မူ၏။

၁၃ထိုအခါကာရှေန၊ ရှေသာ၊ အာဒမာသ၊ တာရှိရှ၊

၁၄မေရက်၊ မာသေန၊ မမုကန်တည်းဟူသော ရှင်ဘုရင်၏ မျက်နှာတော်ကို အစဉ်ဖူးမြင်၍၊ နိုင်ငံတော် တွင် အမြတ်ဆုံးသော ပေရသိ၊ မေဒိအတွင်းဝန်မင်း ခုနစ်ပါးတို့သည် အနားတော်၌ထိုင်လျက်ရှိ၍၊ တရားစီရင် ရာလမ်းကို လေ့ကျက်သောသူအပေါင်းတို့နှင့် ရှင်ဘုရင် တိုင်ပင်သော ထုံးစံရှိသည်အတိုင်း၊ အကျိုးအကြောင်းကို နားလည်သောထိုပညာရှိတို့ကိုခေါ်၍၊

၁၆မမုကန်က၊ မိဖုရားဝါရှတိသည် အရှင်မင်းကြီး ကိုသာပစ်မှားသည် မဟုတ်ပါ။ အရှင်မင်းကြီး အာရွှေရု အစိုးရတော်မူသော တိုင်းပြည်အရပ်ရပ်၌ ရှိသော မင်းများနှင့် ဆင်းရဲသားများ အပေါင်းတို့ကို ပြစ်မှားပါပြီ။

၁၇ရှင်ဘုရင် အာရွှေရုသည် မိဖုရားဝါရှတိကို ခေါ်၍၊ မိဖုရားမလာဟု အနှံ့အပြားပြောကြသဖြင့်၊ မိဖုရားပြုသော ဤအမှုကိုခပ်သိမ်းသော မိန်းမတို့သည် ကြား၍ မိမိတို့ခင်ပွန်းကို မထီမဲ့မြင်ပြုကြပါလိမ့်မည်။

၁၈မိဖုရားပြုသော ဤအမှုကို ပေရသိ၊ မေဒိ မင်းကတော်တို့သည် ကြားသိကြလျှင်၊ မှူးတော်မတ်တော် အပေါင်းတို့အား ထိုနည်းတူ ပြန်ပြောသဖြင့်၊ အားမနာ တတ်သောစိတ်၊ ဒေါသစိတ် တိုးပွားစရာအကြောင်းရှိပါ လိမ့်မည်။

၁၉ဝါရှတိသည် အရှင်မင်းကြီး အာရွှေရုထံတော်သို့ နောက်တဖန် မဝင်စေခြင်းငှါ အလိုတော်ရှိလျှင် မဝင်စေ နှင့်ဟု မိန့်တော်မူပါ။ မပြောင်းလဲနိုင်သော အမိန့်တော် ရှိစေခြင်းငှါ ပေရသိ၊ မေဒိဓမ္မသတ်၌သွင်း၍ ရေးစေ တော်မူပါ။ ဝါရှတိထက် ကောင်းသော မိန်းမကိုလည်း မိဖုရားအရာ၌ ချီးမြှောက်တော်မူပါ။
20 and to hear: proclaim edict [the] king which to make in/on/with all royalty his for many he/she/it and all [the] woman to give: give preciousness to/for master: husband their to/for from great: large and till small
၂၀သို့ပြုလျှင် ရှင်ဘုရင် ပေးတော်မူသော အမိန့် တော်ကို ကျယ်ဝန်းသော နိုင်ငံတော်တရှောက်လုံး ကြော်ငြာသောအခါ၊ မိန်းမအပေါင်းတို့သည် ကိုယ်ခင်ပွန်း အယုတ်အမြတ်တို့ကို ရိုသေကြပါလိမ့်မည်ဟု ရှင်ဘုရင် နှင့် မှူးမတ်တို့ရှေ့မှာ လျှောက်ထား၏။

၂၁ထိုစကားကို ရှင်ဘုရင်နှင့် မှူးမတ်တို့သည် နှစ်သက်၍ မမုကန်လျှောက်သည်အတိုင်း ရှင်ဘုရင် ပြုလျက်၊
22 and to send: depart scroll: document to(wards) all province [the] king to(wards) province and province like/as writing her and to(wards) people and people like/as tongue: language his to/for to be all man to rule in/on/with house: household his and to speak: speak like/as tongue: language people his
၂၂လူတိုင်း မိမိအိမ်ကို အုပ်စိုးရမည်အကြောင်း၊ မိမိလူမျိုးစကားကို ပြောရမည်အကြောင်း၊ အတိုင်းတိုင်း အပြည်ပြည် ဘာသာစကား အသီးအသီးကို အနက်ပြန် ၍ နိုင်ငံတော်အရပ်ရပ်သို့ အမိန့်တော်စာကို ပေးလိုက် တော်မူ၏။
