Ecclesiastes 3
1 to/for all time and time to/for all pleasure underneath: under [the] heaven
Alles heeft een bestemden tijd, en alle voornemen onder den hemel heeft zijn tijd.
2 time to/for to beget and time to/for to die time to/for to plant and time to/for to uproot to plant
Er is een tijd om geboren te worden, en een tijd om te sterven; een tijd om te planten, en een tijd om het geplante uit te roeien;
3 time to/for to kill and time to/for to heal time to/for to break through and time to/for to build
Een tijd om om te doden, en een tijd om te genezen; een tijd om af te breken, en een tijd om te bouwen;
4 time to/for to weep and time to/for to laugh time to mourn and time to skip about
Een tijd om te wenen, en een tijd om te lachen; een tijd om te kermen, en een tijd om op te springen;
5 time to/for to throw stone and time to gather stone time to/for to embrace and time to/for to remove from to embrace
Een tijd om stenen weg te werpen, en een tijd om stenen te vergaderen; een tijd om te omhelzen, en een tijd om verre te zijn van omhelzen;
6 time to/for to seek and time to/for to perish time to/for to keep: guard and time to/for to throw
Een tijd om te zoeken, en een tijd om verloren te laten gaan; een tijd om te bewaren, en een tijd om weg te werpen;
7 time to/for to tear and time to/for to sew time to/for be silent and time to/for to speak: speak
Een tijd om te scheuren, en een tijd om toe te naaien; een tijd om te zwijgen, en een tijd om te spreken;
8 time to/for to love: lover and time to/for to hate time battle and time peace
Een tijd om lief te hebben, en een tijd om te haten; een tijd van oorlog, en een tijd van vrede.
9 what? advantage [the] to make: do in/on/with in which he/she/it laborious
Wat voordeel heeft hij, die werkt, van hetgeen hij bearbeidt?
10 to see: see [obj] [the] task which to give: give God to/for son: child [the] man to/for be occupied in/on/with him
Ik heb gezien de bezigheid, die God den kinderen der mensen gegeven heeft, om zichzelven daarmede te bekommeren.
11 [obj] [the] all to make beautiful in/on/with time his also [obj] [the] forever: enduring to give: put in/on/with heart their from without which not to find [the] man [obj] [the] deed: work which to make: do [the] God from head: first and till end
Hij heeft ieder ding schoon gemaakt op zijn tijd; ook heeft Hij de eeuw in hun hart gelegd, zonder dat een mens het werk, dat God gemaakt heeft, kan uitvinden, van het begin tot het einde toe.
12 to know for nothing pleasant in/on/with them that if: except if: except to/for to rejoice and to/for to make: do pleasant in/on/with life his
Ik heb gemerkt, dat er niets beters voor henlieden is, dan zich te verblijden, en goed te doen in zijn leven.
13 and also all [the] man which/that to eat and to drink and to see: enjoy good in/on/with all trouble his gift God he/she/it
Ja ook, dat ieder mens ete en drinke, en het goede geniete van al zijn arbeid, Dit is een gave Gods.
14 to know for all which to make: do [the] God he/she/it to be to/for forever: enduring upon him nothing to/for to add and from him nothing to/for to dimish and [the] God to make: do which/that to fear: revere from to/for face: before his
Ik weet, dat al wat God doet, dat zal in der eeuwigheid zijn, en er is niet toe te doen, noch is er af te doen; en God doet dat, opdat men vreze voor Zijn aangezicht.
15 what? which/that to be already he/she/it and which to/for to be already to be and [the] God to seek [obj] to pursue
Hetgeen geweest is, dat is nu, en wat wezen zal, dat is alrede geweest; en God zoekt het weggedrevene;
16 and still to see: see underneath: under [the] sun place [the] justice there [to] [the] wickedness and place [the] righteousness there [to] [the] wickedness
Verder heb ik ook gezien onder de zon, ter plaatse des gerichts, aldaar was goddeloosheid; en ter plaatse der gerechtigheid, aldaar was goddeloosheid.
17 to say I in/on/with heart my [obj] [the] righteous and [obj] [the] wicked to judge [the] God for time to/for all pleasure and upon all [the] deed there
Ik zeide in mijn hart: God zal den rechtvaardige en den goddeloze oordelen; want aldaar is de tijd voor alle voornemen, en over alle werk.
18 to say I in/on/with heart my upon cause son: child [the] man to/for to purify them [the] God and to/for to see: see which/that they(masc.) animal they(masc.) to/for them
Ik zeide in mijn hart van de gelegenheid der mensenkinderen, dat God hen zal verklaren, en dat zij zullen zien, dat zij als de beesten zijn aan zichzelven.
19 for accident son: child [the] man and accident [the] animal and accident one to/for them like/as death this so death this and spirit: breath one to/for all and advantage [the] man from [the] animal nothing for [the] all vanity
Want wat den kinderen der mensen wedervaart, dat wedervaart ook den beesten; en enerlei wedervaart hun beiden; gelijk die sterft, alzo sterft deze, en zij allen hebben enerlei adem, en de uitnemendheid der mensen boven de beesten is geen; want allen zijn zij ijdelheid.
20 [the] all to go: went to(wards) place one [the] all to be from [the] dust and [the] all to return: return to(wards) [the] dust
Zij gaan allen naar een plaats; zij zijn allen uit het stof, en zij keren allen weder tot het stof.
21 who? to know spirit son: descendant/people [the] man [the] to ascend: rise he/she/it to/for above [to] and spirit [the] animal [the] to go down he/she/it to/for beneath to/for land: soil
Wie merkt, dat de adem van de kinderen der mensen opvaart naar boven, en de adem der beesten nederwaarts vaart in de aarde?
22 and to see: see for nothing pleasant from whence to rejoice [the] man in/on/with deed: work his for he/she/it portion his for who? to come (in): bring him to/for to see: see in/on/with what? which/that to be after him
Dies heb ik gezien, dat er niets beters is, dan dat de mens zich verblijde in zijn werken, want dat is zijn deel; want wie zal hem daarhenen brengen, dat hij ziet, hetgeen na hem geschieden zal?
