Ecclesiastes 12
1 and to remember [obj] to create you in/on/with day youth your till which not to come (in): come day [the] distress: evil and to touch year which to say nothing to/for me in/on/with them pleasure
Gedenke an deinen Schöpfer in deiner Jugend, ehe denn die bösen Tage kommen und die Jahre herzutreten, da du wirst sagen: Sie gefallen mir nicht;
2 till which not to darken [the] sun and [the] light and [the] moon and [the] star and to return: return [the] cloud after [the] rain
ehe denn die Sonne und das Licht, Mond und Sterne finster werden und Wolken wieder kommen nach dem Regen;
3 in/on/with day which/that to tremble to keep: guard [the] house: home and to pervert human [the] strength and to cease [the] to grind for to diminish and to darken [the] to see: see in/on/with window
zur Zeit, wenn die Hüter im Hause zittern, und sich krümmen die Starken, und müßig stehen die Müller, weil ihrer so wenig geworden sind, und finster werden, die durch die Fenster sehen,
4 and to shut door in/on/with street in/on/with to abase voice: sound [the] mill and to arise: rise to/for voice: sound [the] bird and to bow all daughter [the] song
und die Türen an der Gasse geschlossen werden, daß die Stimme der Mühle leise wird, und man erwacht, wenn der Vogel singt, und gedämpft sind alle Töchter des Gesangs;
5 also from high to fear and terror in/on/with way: journey and to spurn [the] almond and to bear [the] locust and to break [the] desire for to go: went [the] man to(wards) house: home forever: enduring his and to turn: turn in/on/with street [the] to mourn
wenn man auch vor Höhen sich fürchtet und sich scheut auf dem Wege; wenn der Mandelbaum blüht, und die Heuschrecke beladen wird, und alle Lust vergeht (denn der Mensch fährt hin, da er ewig bleibt, und die Klageleute gehen umher auf der Gasse);
6 till which not (to bind *QK) cord [the] silver: money and to crush bowl [the] gold and to break jar upon [the] spring and to crush [the] wheel to(wards) [the] pit
ehe denn der silberne Strick wegkomme, und die goldene Schale zerbreche, und der Eimer zerfalle an der Quelle, und das Rad zerbrochen werde am Born.
7 and to return: return [the] dust upon [the] land: soil like/as which/that to be and [the] spirit to return: return to(wards) [the] God which to give: give her
Denn der Staub muß wieder zu der Erde kommen, wie er gewesen ist, und der Geist wieder zu Gott, der ihn gegeben hat.
8 vanity vanity to say [the] preacher [the] all vanity
Es ist alles ganz eitel, sprach der Prediger, ganz eitel.
9 and advantage which/that to be preacher wise still to learn: teach knowledge [obj] [the] people and to ponder and to search be straight proverb to multiply
Derselbe Prediger war nicht allein weise, sondern lehrte auch das Volk gute Lehre und merkte und forschte und stellte viel Sprüche.
10 to seek preacher to/for to find word pleasure and to write uprightness word truth: true
Er suchte, daß er fände angenehme Worte, und schrieb recht die Worte der Wahrheit.
11 word wise like/as goad and like/as nail to plant master: [master of] collection to give: give from to pasture one
Die Worte der Weisen sind Stacheln und Nägel; sie sind geschrieben durch die Meister der Versammlungen und von einem Hirten gegeben.
12 and advantage from them son: child my to warn to make scroll: book to multiply nothing end and study to multiply weariness flesh
Hüte dich, mein Sohn, vor andern mehr; denn viel Büchermachens ist kein Ende, und viel studieren macht den Leib müde.
13 end word: thing [the] all to hear: hear [obj] [the] God to fear: revere and [obj] commandment his to keep: obey for this all [the] man
Laßt uns die Hauptsumme alle Lehre hören: Fürchte Gott und halte seine Gebote; denn das gehört allen Menschen zu.
14 for [obj] all deed [the] God to come (in): bring in/on/with justice: judgement upon all to conceal if pleasant and if bad: evil
Denn Gott wird alle Werke vor Gericht bringen, alles, was verborgen ist, es sei gut oder böse.
