Amos 6

1 woe! [the] secure in/on/with Zion and [the] to trust in/on/with mountain: mount Samaria to pierce first: beginning [the] nation and to come (in): come to/for them house: household Israel

Weh den Stolzen zu Zion und denen, die sich auf den Berg Samarias verlassen, den Vornehmsten des Erstlings unter den Völkern, und zu denen das Haus Israel kommt!

2 to pass Calneh and to see: see and to go: went from there Hamath the great Hamath the great and to go down Gath Philistine pleasant from [the] kingdom [the] these if: surely yes many border: area their from border: area your

Gehet hin gen Kalne und schauet, und von da gen Hamath, die große Stadt, und zieht hinab gen Gath der Philister, welche bessere Königreiche gewesen sind denn diese und ihre Grenze weiter denn eure Grenze.

Die ihr euch weit vom bösen Tag achtet und trachtet immer nach Frevelregiment,

4 [the] to lie down: lay down upon bed tooth: ivory and to overrun upon bed their and to eat ram from flock and calf from midst stall

und schlaft auf elfenbeinernen Lagern und prangt auf euren Ruhebetten; ihr eßt die Lämmer aus der Herde und die gemästeten Kälber,

5 [the] to divide upon lip: word [the] harp like/as David to devise: design to/for them article/utensil song

und spielt auf dem Psalter und erdichtet euch Lieder wie David,

6 [the] to drink in/on/with bowl wine and first: best oil to anoint and not be weak: grieved upon breaking Joseph

und trinkt Wein aus den Schalen und salbt euch mit Balsam und bekümmert euch nicht um den Schaden Josephs.

7 to/for so now to reveal: remove in/on/with head: first to reveal: remove and to turn aside: remove banquet to overrun

Darum sollen sie nun vornan gehen unter denen, die gefangen weggeführt werden, und soll das Schlemmen der Pranger aufhören.

8 to swear Lord YHWH/God in/on/with soul: myself his utterance LORD God Hosts to loathe I [obj] pride Jacob and citadel: fortress his to hate and to shut city and fullness her

Denn der Herr HERR hat geschworen bei seiner Seele, spricht der HERR, der Gott Zebaoth: Mich verdrießt die Hoffart Jakobs, und ich bin ihren Palästen gram; und ich will auch die Stadt übergeben mit allem, was darin ist.

Und wenngleich zehn Männer in einem Hause übrigbleiben, sollen sie doch sterben,

daß einen jeglichen sein Vetter und der ihn verbrennen will, nehmen und die Gebeine aus dem Hause tragen muß und sagen zu dem, der in den Gemächern des Hauses ist: Sind ihrer auch noch mehr da? und der wird antworten: Sie sind alle dahin! Und er wird sagen: Sei still! denn man darf des Namens des HERRN nicht gedenken.

Denn siehe, der HERR hat geboten, daß man die großen Häuser schlagen soll, daß sie Risse gewinnen, und die kleinen Häuser, daß sie Lücken gewinnen.

12 to run: run [emph?] in/on/with crag horse if: surely yes to plow/plot in/on/with cattle for to overturn to/for poison justice and fruit righteousness to/for wormwood

Wer kann mit Rossen rennen oder mit Ochsen pflügen auf Felsen? Denn ihr wandelt das Recht in Galle und die Frucht der Gerechtigkeit in Wermut

13 [the] glad to/for Lo-debar Lo-debar [the] to say not in/on/with strength our to take: take to/for us Karnaim

und tröstet euch des, das so gar nichts ist, und sprecht: Sind wir denn nicht stark genug mit unsern Hörnern?

14 for look! I to arise: attack upon you house: household Israel utterance LORD God [the] Hosts nation and to oppress [obj] you from Lebo-(Hamath) Hamath till Brook [the] (Brook of) the Arabah

Darum siehe, ich will über euch vom Hause Israel ein Volk erwecken, spricht der HERR, der Gott Zebaoth, das soll euch ängsten von dem Ort an, da man gen Hamath geht, bis an den Bach in der Wüste.
