2 Kings 6
1 and to say son: child [the] prophet to(wards) Elisha behold please [the] place which we to dwell there to/for face your narrow from us
ভাববাদী সম্প্রদায়ের লোকেরা ইলীশায়কে বললেন, “দেখুন, আপনার সাথে আমরা যেখানে দেখা করি, সেই স্থানটি আমাদের জন্য খুবই ছোটো।
2 to go: went please till [the] Jordan and to take: take from there man: anyone beam one and to make to/for us there place to/for to dwell there and to say to go: went
আমাদের জর্ডন নদীর পাড়ে যেতে দিন, যেন সেখান থেকে আমরা প্রত্যেকে এক-একটি খুঁটি নিয়ে আসতে পারি; এবং সেখানে আমাদের জন্য দেখাসাক্ষাৎ করার একটি স্থান তৈরি করা যাক।” তিনি বললেন, “যাও।”
3 and to say [the] one be willing please and to go: went with servant/slave your and to say I to go: went
তখন তাদের মধ্যে একজন বললেন, “আপনিও কি দয়া করে আপনার এই দাসেদের সাথে আসবেন না?” “আমিও আসব,” ইলীশায় উত্তর দিলেন।
4 and to go: went with them and to come (in): come [the] Jordan [to] and to cut [the] tree
আর তিনি তাদের সাথে গেলেন। তারা জর্ডন নদীর পাড়ে গেলেন ও গাছ কাটতে শুরু করলেন।
5 and to be [the] one to fall: fell(trees) [the] beam and [obj] [the] iron to fall: fell(trees) to(wards) [the] water and to cry and to say alas! lord my and he/she/it to ask
তাদের মধ্যে একজন যখন একটি গাছ কাটছিলেন, কুড়ুলের লোহার ফলাটি জলে পড়ে গেল। “না! না! হে আমার প্রভু!” তিনি চিৎকার করে উঠেছিলেন। “সেটি যে আমি ধার করে এনেছিলাম!”
6 and to say man [the] God where? to fall: fall and to see: see him [obj] [the] place and to shear tree: stick and to throw there [to] and to flow [the] iron
ঈশ্বরের লোক জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, “সেটি কোথায় পড়েছে?” তিনি যখন তাঁকে সেই স্থানটি দেখিয়ে দিলেন, ইলীশায় তখন গাছের একটি সরু ডাল ভেঙে নিয়ে সেটি জলে ফেলে দিলেন, ও লোহার ফলাটি ভাসিয়ে তুলেছিলেন।
7 and to say to exalt to/for you and to send: reach hand his and to take: take him
“ফলাটি তুলে আনো,” তিনি বললেন। তখন সেই লোকটি হাত বাড়িয়ে সেটি তুলে এনেছিলেন।
8 and king Syria to be to fight in/on/with Israel and to advise to(wards) servant/slave his to/for to say to(wards) place someone someone encampment my
ইত্যবসরে অরামের রাজা ইস্রায়েলের সাথে যুদ্ধে লিপ্ত হলেন। কর্মকর্তাদের সাথে পরামর্শ করার পর তিনি বললেন, “এসব স্থানে আমি সৈন্যশিবির করব।”
9 and to send: depart man [the] God to(wards) king Israel to/for to say to keep: careful from to pass [the] place [the] this for there Syria descended
ঈশ্বরের লোক ইস্রায়েলের রাজার কাছে খবর দিয়ে পাঠালেন: “সেই স্থানটি পেরিয়ে যাওয়ার বিষয়ে সাবধান, কারণ অরামীয়রা সেখানে যাচ্ছে।”
10 and to send: depart king Israel to(wards) [the] place which to say to/for him man [the] God (and to warn him *QK) and to keep: guard there not one and not two
তাই ঈশ্বরের লোক যে স্থানটির বিষয়ে ইঙ্গিত দিলেন, ইস্রায়েলের রাজা সেটি যাচাই করে নিয়েছিলেন। বারবার ইলীশায় রাজাকে সাবধান করে দিলেন, যেন তিনি এসব স্থানে সতর্ক পাহারা বসিয়ে রাখতে পারেন।
11 and to rage heart king Syria upon [the] word: because [the] this and to call: call to to(wards) servant/slave his and to say to(wards) them not to tell to/for me who? from which/that to/for us to(wards) king Israel
এতে অরামের রাজা খুব রেগে গেলেন। তিনি তাঁর কর্মকর্তাদের ডেকে পাঠিয়ে তাদের কাছে জানতে চেয়েছিলেন, “আমায় বলো দেখি! আমাদের মধ্যে কে ইস্রায়েলের রাজার পক্ষে গিয়েছে?”
12 and to say one from servant/slave his not lord my [the] king for Elisha [the] prophet which in/on/with Israel to tell to/for king Israel [obj] [the] word which to speak: speak in/on/with chamber bed your
“হে আমার প্রভু মহারাজ, আমাদের মধ্যে কেউই যায়নি,” তাঁর কর্মকর্তাদের মধ্যে একজন বলে উঠেছিল, “কিন্তু ইস্রায়েলে যে ভাববাদী আছেন, সেই ইলীশায় আপনি শোবার ঘরে যা যা বলেন, তার এক-একটি কথা ইস্রায়েলের রাজাকে বলে দেন।”
13 and to say to go: went and to see: see where? he/she/it and to send: depart and to take: take him and to tell to/for him to/for to say behold in/on/with Dothan
“যাও, গিয়ে খুঁজে বের করো, সে কোথায় আছে,” রাজা আদেশ দিলেন, “যেন আমি লোক পাঠিয়ে তাকে বন্দি করতে পারি।” খবর এসেছিল: “তিনি দোথনে আছেন।”
14 and to send: depart there [to] horse and chariot and strength: soldiers heavy and to come (in): come night and to surround upon [the] city
রাজা তখন ঘোড়া, রথ ও বেশ বড়সড় এক সৈন্যদল সেখানে পাঠালেন। রাতের অন্ধকারে তারা গিয়ে নগরটি ঘিরে ফেলেছিল।
15 and to rise to minister man [the] God to/for to arise: rise and to come out: come and behold strength: soldiers to turn: surround [obj] [the] city and horse and chariot and to say youth his to(wards) him alas! lord my how? to make: do
পরদিন সকালে ঈশ্বরের লোকের দাস যখন ঘুম থেকে উঠে বাইরে গেল, তখন দেখা গেল একদল সৈন্য, ঘোড়া ও রথ নিয়ে নগরটি ঘিরে ফেলেছে। “না! না! হে আমার প্রভু! আমরা কী করব?” সেই দাস জিজ্ঞাসা করল।
16 and to say not to fear for many which with us from whence with them
“ভয় পেয়ো না,” ভাববাদী উত্তর দিলেন। “যারা আমাদের সাথে আছেন, তাদের সংখ্যা, ওদের সাথে যারা আছে, তাদের চেয়ে অনেক বেশি।”
17 and to pray Elisha and to say LORD to open please [obj] eye his and to see: see and to open LORD [obj] eye [the] youth and to see: see and behold [the] mountain: mount to fill horse and chariot fire around Elisha
আর ইলীশায় প্রার্থনা করলেন, “হে সদাপ্রভু, এর চোখ খুলে দাও, যেন এ দেখতে পারে।” তখন সদাপ্রভু সেই দাসের চোখ খুলে দিলেন, এবং সে তাকিয়ে দেখেছিল ইলীশায়ের চারপাশের পাহাড়গুলি ঘোড়া ও রথে ছেয়ে আছে।
18 and to go down to(wards) him and to pray Elisha to(wards) LORD and to say to smite please [obj] [the] nation [the] this in/on/with blindness and to smite them in/on/with blindness like/as word Elisha
শত্রুরা যখন ইলীশায়ের দিকে এগিয়ে এসেছিল, তিনি তখন সদাপ্রভুর কাছে প্রার্থনা করলেন, “এই সৈন্যদলকে তুমি অন্ধ করে দাও।” তাই ইলীশায়ের প্রার্থনানুসারে সদাপ্রভু তাদের আঘাত করে দৃষ্টিশক্তিহীন করে দিলেন।
19 and to say to(wards) them Elisha not this [the] way: road and not this [the] city to go: follow after me and to go: take [obj] you to(wards) [the] man which to seek [emph?] and to go: take [obj] them Samaria [to]
ইলীশায় তাদের বললেন, “এ সেই পথ নয় ও এ সেই নগরও নয়। আমাকে অনুসরণ করো, আমি তোমাদের পথ দেখিয়ে তোমরা যার খোঁজ করছ, সেই লোকটির কাছে নিয়ে যাব।” আর তিনি পথ দেখিয়ে তাদের শমরিয়ায় নিয়ে গেলেন।
20 and to be like/as to come (in): come they Samaria and to say Elisha LORD to open [obj] eye these and to see: see and to open LORD [obj] eye their and to see: see and behold in/on/with midst Samaria
তারা নগরে প্রবেশ করার পর ইলীশায় বললেন, “হে সদাপ্রভু, এদের চোখ খুলে দাও, যেন এরা দেখতে পারে।” তখন সদাপ্রভু তাদের চোখ খুলে দিলেন ও তারা তাকিয়ে দেখেছিল, শমরিয়ার মাঝখানে তারা দাঁড়িয়ে আছে।
21 and to say king Israel to(wards) Elisha like/as to see: see he [obj] them to smite to smite father my
ইস্রায়েলের রাজা তাদের দেখতে পেয়ে ইলীশায়কে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, “হে আমার প্রভু, আমি কি এদের মেরে ফেলব? আমি কি এদের মেরে ফেলব?”
22 and to say not to smite which to take captive in/on/with sword your and in/on/with bow your you(m. s.) to smite to set: make food: bread and water to/for face: before their and to eat and to drink and to go: went to(wards) lord their
“এদের মেরে ফেলো না,” তিনি উত্তর দিলেন। “নিজের তরোয়াল বা ধনুক দিয়ে তুমি যাদের বন্দি করেছ, তাদের কি তুমি হত্যা করবে? তাদের সামনে খাবার ও জল রাখো, যেন তারা ভোজনপান করে তাদের মনিবের কাছে ফিরে যেতে পারে।”
23 and to feed to/for them feast great: large and to eat and to drink and to send: depart them and to go: went to(wards) lord their and not to add: again still band Syria to/for to come (in): come in/on/with land: country/planet Israel
তাই রাজা তাদের জন্য এক মহাভোজের ব্যবস্থা করলেন, এবং তারা ভোজনপান করার পর তাদের মনিবের কাছে ফিরে গেল। অতএব অরামের সৈন্যদল ইস্রায়েলী এলাকায় হামলা চালানো বন্ধ করে দিয়েছিল।
24 and to be after so and to gather Ben-hadad Ben-hadad king Syria [obj] all camp his and to ascend: rise and to confine upon Samaria
কিছুকাল পরে, অরামের রাজা বিন্হদদ তাঁর সমগ্র সৈন্যদল সমাবেশিত করে শমরিয়া অবরোধ করলেন।
25 and to be famine great: large in/on/with Samaria and behold to confine upon her till to be head donkey in/on/with eighty silver: money and fourth [the] kab (quano *QK) in/on/with five silver: money
নগরে ভীষণ দুর্ভিক্ষ নেমে এসেছিল; এত দীর্ঘ সময় ধরে অবরোধ চলছিল যে এক-একটি গাধার মুণ্ডু বিক্রি হচ্ছিল আশি শেকল রুপো দিয়ে, এবং এক কাবের চার ভাগের এক ভাগ রেশমগুটির বীজ বিক্রি হচ্ছিল পাঁচ শেকল রুপো দিয়ে।
26 and to be king Israel to pass upon [the] wall and woman to cry to(wards) him to/for to say to save [emph?] lord my [the] king
ইস্রায়েলের রাজা যখন প্রাচীরের উপর দিয়ে পার হয়ে যাচ্ছিলেন, তখন একজন মহিলা চিৎকার করে তাঁকে বলল, “হে আমার প্রভু মহারাজ, আমায় সাহায্য করুন!”
27 and to say not to save you LORD from where? to save you from [the] threshing floor or from [the] wine
রাজামশাই উত্তর দিলেন, “সদাপ্রভু যদি তোমায় সাহায্য না করলেন, তবে আমি কোথা থেকে তোমায় সাহায্য করব? খামার থেকে? দ্রাক্ষাপেষাই কল থেকে?”
28 and to say to/for her [the] king what? to/for you and to say [the] woman [the] this to say to(wards) me to give: give [obj] son: child your and to eat him [the] day and [obj] son: child my to eat tomorrow
পরে তিনি তাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করলেন, “কী হয়েছে?” সে উত্তর দিয়েছিল, “এই মহিলাটি আমায় বলল, ‘তোমার ছেলেকে দাও, যেন আজ আমরা ওকে খেতে পারি, আর আগামীকাল আমরা আমার ছেলেকে খাব।’
29 and to boil [obj] son: child my and to eat him and to say to(wards) her in/on/with day [the] another to give: give [obj] son: child your and to eat him and to hide [obj] son: child her
তাই আমরা আমার ছেলেকে রান্না করে খেয়েছিলাম। পরদিন আমি তাকে বললাম, ‘এবার তোমার ছেলেকে দাও, যেন আমরা তাকে খেতে পারি,’ কিন্তু সে তাকে লুকিয়ে রেখেছে।”
30 and to be like/as to hear: hear [the] king [obj] word [the] woman and to tear [obj] garment his and he/she/it to pass upon [the] wall and to see: see [the] people and behold [the] sackcloth upon flesh his from house: inside
রাজা যখন সেই মহিলাটির কথা শুনেছিলেন, তখন তিনি তাঁর রাজবস্ত্র ছিঁড়ে ফেলেছিলেন। তিনি যখন প্রাচীরে হাঁটছিলেন, লোকজন তাকিয়ে দেখছিল, ও তারা দেখতে পেয়েছিল যে রাজার রাজবস্ত্রের নিচে তিনি গায়ে চট বেঁধে রেখেছেন।
31 and to say thus to make: do to/for me God and thus to add if to stand: stand head Elisha son: child Shaphat upon him [the] day: today
রাজা বললেন, “আজ যদি শাফটের ছেলে ইলীশায়ের মুণ্ডু তার কাঁধের উপর স্বস্থানে থেকে যায়, তবে যেন ঈশ্বর আমাকে কঠোর থেকে কঠোরতর দণ্ড দেন!”
32 and Elisha to dwell in/on/with house: home his and [the] old: elder to dwell with him and to send: depart man from to/for face: before his in/on/with before to come (in): come [the] messenger to(wards) him and he/she/it to say to(wards) [the] old: elder to see: behold! for to send: depart son: warrior [the] to murder [the] this to/for to turn aside: remove [obj] head my to see: behold! like/as to come (in): come [the] messenger to shut [the] door and to oppress [obj] him in/on/with door not voice: sound foot lord his after him
ইত্যবসরে ইলীশায় তাঁর বাড়িতে বসেছিলেন, এবং প্রাচীনেরাও তাঁর সাথে বসেছিলেন। রাজামশাই ইতিমধ্যে একজন দূত পাঠিয়ে দিলেন, কিন্তু সে এসে পৌঁছানোর আগেই ইলীশায় সেই প্রাচীনদের বলে দিলেন, “আপনারা কি দেখতে পাচ্ছেন না এই হত্যাকারী আমার মুণ্ডু কেটে ফেলার জন্য একজনকে পাঠাচ্ছে? দেখুন, সেই দূত যখন আসবে, আপনারা দরজাটি বন্ধ করে দেবেন এবং তাকে ঢুকতে দেবেন না। তার পিছু পিছু, তার মনিবের পায়ের শব্দও কি শোনা যাচ্ছে না?”
33 still he to speak: speak with them and behold [the] messenger to go down to(wards) him and to say behold this [the] distress: harm from with LORD what? to wait: wait to/for LORD still
তাদের সাথে তখনও তিনি কথা বলছেন, এমন সময় সেই দূত তাঁর কাছে চলে এসেছিল। রাজামশাই বললেন, “এই বিপর্যয় তো সদাপ্রভুর কাছ থেকেই এসেছে। তবে আমি আর কেন সদাপ্রভুর অপেক্ষায় থাকব?”
