2 Corinthians 8

兄弟よ、我らマケドニヤの諸 教會に賜ひたる神の恩惠を汝らに知らす。

即ち患難の大なる試練のうちに彼らの喜悦あふれ、又その甚だしき貧窮は吝みなく施す富の溢るるに至れり。

われ證す、彼らは聖徒に事ふることに與る惠を切に我らに請ひ求め、みづから進みて、力に應じ、否これに過ぎて施濟をなせり。

われ證す、彼らは聖徒に事ふることに與る惠を切に我らに請ひ求め、みづから進みて、力に應じ、否これに過ぎて施濟をなせり。

我らの望のほかに先づ己を主にささげ、神の御意によりて我らにも身を委ねたり。

されば我らはテトスが前に此の慈惠のことを汝らの中に始めたれば、又これを成就せんことを勸めたり。

汝 等もろもろの事、すなはち信仰に、言に、知識に、凡ての奮勵に、また我らに對する愛に富めるごとく、此の慈惠にも富むべし。

われ斯く言ふは汝らに命ずるにあらず、ただ他の人の奮勵によりて、汝らの愛の眞實を試みん爲なり。

汝らは我らの主イエス・キリストの恩惠を知る。即ち富める者にて在したれど、汝 等のために貧しき者となり給へり。これ汝らが彼の貧窮によりて富める者とならん爲なり。

我等また彼とともに一人の兄弟を遣す。この人は福音をもて諸 教會のうちに譽を得たる上に、

主の榮光と我らの志望とを顯さんがために、掌どれる此の慈惠に就きて、諸 教會より我らの道伴として選ばれたる者なり。

彼を遣すは、此の大なる醵金を掌どるに、人に咎めらるる事を避けんためなり。

テトスのことを言へば、我が友なり、汝らに對して我が同勞者なり。この兄弟たちの事をいへば、彼らは諸 教會の使なり、キリストの榮光なり。

されば汝らの愛と我らが汝らに就きて誇れる事との證を、諸 教會の前にて彼らに顯せ。
