2 Chronicles 14
1 and to lie down: be dead Abijah with father his and to bury [obj] him in/on/with city David and to reign Asa son: child his underneath: instead him in/on/with day his to quiet [the] land: country/planet ten year
A gdy Abiasz zasnął ze swoimi ojcami, pogrzebano go w mieście Dawida. Wtedy jego syn Asa królował w jego miejsce. Za jego dni w ziemi panował pokój przez dziesięć lat.
2 and to make: do Asa [the] pleasant and [the] upright in/on/with eye: appearance LORD God his
Asa czynił to, co [było] dobre i prawe w oczach PANA, jego Boga.
3 and to turn aside: remove [obj] altar [the] foreign and [the] high place and to break [obj] [the] pillar and to cut down/off [obj] [the] Asherah
Usunął bowiem ołtarze obcych bogów i wyżyny, pokruszył posągi i wyrąbał gaje.
4 and to say to/for Judah to/for to seek [obj] LORD God father their and to/for to make: do [the] instruction and [the] commandment
Nakazał Judzie szukać PANA, Boga swoich ojców, i przestrzegać prawa i przykazań.
5 and to turn aside: remove from all city Judah [obj] [the] high place and [obj] [the] pillar and to quiet [the] kingdom to/for face: before his
Zniósł też ze wszystkich miast Judy wyżyny i posągi, a królestwo za jego czasów zaznało pokoju.
6 and to build city fortress in/on/with Judah for to quiet [the] land: country/planet and nothing with him battle in/on/with year [the] these for to rest LORD to/for him
Ponadto zbudował miasta warowne w Judzie, ponieważ w ziemi panował pokój i nie było wojny przeciwko niemu w tych latach. PAN bowiem dał mu odpoczynek.
7 and to say to/for Judah to build [obj] [the] city [the] these and to turn: surround wall and tower door and bar still he [the] land: country/planet to/for face: before our for to seek [obj] LORD God our to seek and to rest to/for us from around: whole and to build and to prosper
I powiedział do Judy: Zbudujmy te miasta i otoczmy [je] murami, wieżami, bramami i ryglami, póki ziemia jest w naszej mocy. Szukaliśmy bowiem PANA, naszego Boga, szukaliśmy go i dał nam zewsząd odpoczynek. Budowali więc i powodziło się im.
8 and to be to/for Asa strength: soldiers to lift: bear shield and spear from Judah three hundred thousand and from Benjamin to lift: bear shield and to tread bow hundred and eighty thousand all these mighty man strength
I Asa miał wojsko z Judy – trzysta tysięcy noszących tarcze i włócznie, i z Beniamina – dwieście osiemdziesiąt tysięcy noszących puklerz i napinających łuk. Wszyscy oni [byli] bardzo dzielni.
9 and to come out: come to(wards) them Zerah [the] Ethiopian in/on/with strength: soldiers thousand thousand and chariot three hundred and to come (in): come till Mareshah
Wtedy przeciwko nim nadciągnął Zerach Etiopczyk z wojskiem [liczącym] tysiąc tysięcy oraz trzystu rydwanami i dotarł aż do Mareszy.
10 and to come out: come Asa to/for face: before his and to arrange battle in/on/with (Zephathah) Valley Zephathah to/for Mareshah
Nadciągnął też i Asa przeciw niemu i stanęli w szyku bojowym w Dolinie Sefaty w Mareszy.
11 and to call: call to Asa to(wards) LORD God his and to say LORD nothing with you to/for to help between many to/for nothing strength to help us LORD God our for upon you to lean and in/on/with name your to come (in): come upon [the] crowd [the] this LORD God our you(m. s.) not to restrain with you human
Wtedy Asa zawołał do PANA, swego Boga, i powiedział: PANIE, ty nie potrzebujesz wielu, aby uratować tego, który nie ma siły. Ratuj nas, PANIE, nasz Boże, gdyż na tobie polegamy i w twoje imię idziemy przeciwko temu mnóstwu. Ty jesteś PANEM, naszym Bogiem. Niech człowiek nie zyska przewagi nad tobą.
12 and to strike LORD [obj] [the] Ethiopian to/for face: before Asa and to/for face: before Judah and to flee [the] Ethiopian
A PAN poraził Etiopczyków przed Asą i Judą tak, że Etiopczycy uciekli.
13 and to pursue them Asa and [the] people which with him till to/for Gerar and to fall: kill from Ethiopian to/for nothing to/for them recovery for to break to/for face: before LORD and to/for face: before camp his and to lift: bear spoil to multiply much
I Asa wraz z ludem, który był z nim, ścigał ich aż do Gerary. I polegli Etiopczycy tak, że nikt się nie uratował, bo zostali starci przed PANEM i jego wojskiem. I nabrano bardzo dużo łupów.
14 and to smite [obj] all [the] city around Gerar for to be dread LORD upon them and to plunder [obj] all [the] city for plunder many to be in/on/with them
Ponadto pobili wszystkie miasta dokoła Gerary, bo padł na nie strach PANA i złupili wszystkie miasta. Była bowiem w nich wielka zdobycz.
15 and also tent livestock to smite and to take captive flock to/for abundance and camel and to return: return Jerusalem
Napadli także na namioty trzód, uprowadzając wiele owiec i wielbłądów i wrócili do Jerozolimy.
