1 Thessalonians 2

Denn ihr selbst wisset, Brüder, unseren Eingang bei euch, daß er nicht vergeblich war;

sondern nachdem wir in Philippi zuvor gelitten hatten und mißhandelt worden waren, wie ihr wisset, waren wir freimütig in unserem Gott, das Evangelium Gottes zu euch zu reden unter großem Kampf. [O. großer Anstrengung]
3 the/this/who for encouragement me no out from error nor out from impurity (nor *N+kO) in/on/among deceit
Denn unsere Ermahnung war [O. ist] nicht aus Betrug, noch aus Unreinigkeit, noch mit List;
4 but as/just as to test by/under: by the/this/who God to trust (in) the/this/who gospel thus(-ly) to speak no as/when a human to please but (the/this/who *k) God the/this/who to test the/this/who heart me
sondern so, wie wir von Gott bewährt worden sind, mit dem Evangelium betraut zu werden, also reden wir, nicht um Menschen zu gefallen, sondern Gott, der unsere Herzen prüft.

Denn niemals sind wir mit einschmeichelnder Rede umgegangen, wie ihr wisset, noch mit einem Vorwande für Habsucht, Gott ist Zeuge;
6 neither to seek out from a human glory neither away from you neither away from another be able in/on/among burden to exist as/when Christ apostle
noch suchten wir Ehre von Menschen, weder von euch, noch von anderen, wiewohl wir als Christi Apostel euch zur Last sein konnten;
7 but to be (child *N+KO) in/on/among midst you as/when (if *N+kO) nursing mother to care for the/this/who themself child
sondern wir sind in eurer Mitte zart gewesen, wie eine nährende Frau ihre eigenen Kinder pflegt.
8 thus(-ly) (yearn for *N+kO) you to delight to share you no alone the/this/who gospel the/this/who God but and the/this/who themself soul: life because beloved me (to be *N+kO)
Also, da wir ein sehnliches Verlangen nach euch haben, [O. von Liebe zu euch erfüllt sind] gefiel es uns wohl, euch nicht allein das Evangelium Gottes, sondern auch unser eigenes Leben mitzuteilen, weil ihr uns lieb geworden waret.

Denn ihr gedenket, Brüder, an unsere Mühe und Beschwerde: Nacht und Tag arbeitend, um niemand von euch beschwerlich zu fallen, haben wir euch das Evangelium Gottes gepredigt.
10 you witness and the/this/who God as/when devoutly and rightly and blamelessly you the/this/who to trust (in) to be
Ihr seid Zeugen und Gott, wie göttlich [O. rein, heilig] und gerecht und untadelig wir gegen euch, die Glaubenden, waren;
11 just as to know as/when one each you as/when father child themself to plead/comfort you and to encourage and (to testify *N+kO)
gleichwie ihr wisset, wie wir jeden einzelnen von euch, wie ein Vater seine eigenen Kinder, euch ermahnt und getröstet
12 toward the/this/who (to walk *N+kO) you appropriately the/this/who God the/this/who to call: call you toward the/this/who themself kingdom and glory
und euch bezeugt haben, daß ihr wandeln solltet würdig des Gottes, der euch zu seinem eigenen Reiche und seiner eigenen Herrlichkeit beruft.

Und darum danken wir auch Gott unablässig, daß, als ihr von uns das Wort der Kunde Gottes empfinget, ihr es nicht als Menschenwort aufnahmet, sondern, wie es wahrhaftig ist, als Gottes Wort, das auch in euch, den Glaubenden, wirkt.

Denn, Brüder, ihr seid Nachahmer der Versammlungen Gottes geworden, die in Judäa sind in Christo Jesu, weil auch ihr dasselbe von den eigenen Landsleuten erlitten habt, wie auch jene von den Juden,

die sowohl den Herrn Jesus als auch die Propheten getötet und uns durch Verfolgung weggetrieben haben, und Gott nicht gefallen und allen Menschen entgegen sind,
16 to prevent me the/this/who Gentiles to speak in order that/to to save toward the/this/who to fulfil it/s/he the/this/who sin always to precede/arrive then upon/to/against it/s/he the/this/who wrath (the/this/who God *O) toward goal/tax
indem sie uns wehren, zu den Nationen zu reden, auf daß sie errettet werden, damit sie ihre Sünden allezeit vollmachen; aber der Zorn ist völlig [W. bis zum Ende] über sie gekommen.
17 me then brother to orphan away from you to/with time/right time hour face no heart more excessively be eager the/this/who face you to perceive: see in/on/among much desire
Wir aber, Brüder, da wir für kurze Zeit von euch verwaist waren, dem Angesicht, nicht dem Herzen nach, haben wir uns um so mehr befleißigt, euer Angesicht zu sehen, mit großem Verlangen.

Deshalb wollten wir zu euch kommen [ich, Paulus, nämlich], einmal und zweimal, und der Satan hat uns verhindert.

Denn wer ist unsere Hoffnung oder Freude oder Krone des Ruhmes? Nicht auch [O. gerade] ihr vor unserem Herrn Jesus bei seiner Ankunft?

Denn ihr seid unsere Herrlichkeit und Freude.
