Đa-vít nghĩ thầm: “Rồi sẽ có ngày Sau-lơ hại được ta. Chi bằng ta trốn sang đất Phi-li-tin, để khi Sau-lơ tìm mãi trong nước không thấy, sẽ chán nản, bỏ cuộc và ta được thoát nạn.”
