1 Samuel 25
1 and to die Samuel and to gather all Israel and to mourn to/for him and to bury him in/on/with house: home his in/on/with Ramah and to arise: rise David and to go down to(wards) wilderness Paran
ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଶାମୁୟେଲ ମଲେ; ତହୁଁ ସମୁଦାୟ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲ ଏକତ୍ର ହୋଇ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ବିଳାପ କଲେ ଓ ରାମାସ୍ଥିତ ତାଙ୍କର ଗୃହରେ ତାଙ୍କୁ କବର ଦେଲେ। ପୁଣି, ଦାଉଦ ଉଠି ପାରଣ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରକୁ ଗଲେ।
2 and man in/on/with Maon and deed: work his in/on/with Carmel and [the] man great: large much and to/for him flock three thousand and thousand goat and to be in/on/with to shear [obj] flock his in/on/with Carmel
ସେହି ସମୟରେ ମାୟୋନ୍ସ୍ଥିତ ଜଣେ ଲୋକ କର୍ମିଲରେ ବ୍ୟବସାୟ କରୁଥିଲା; ସେ ଅତି ବଡ଼ ଲୋକ ଓ ତାହାର ତିନି ସହସ୍ର ମେଷ ଓ ଏକ ସହସ୍ର ଛାଗୀ ଥିଲେ; ପୁଣି, ସେ କର୍ମିଲରେ ଆପଣା ମେଷଲୋମ ଛେଦନ କରୁଥିଲା।
3 and name [the] man Nabal and name woman: wife his Abigail and [the] woman pleasant understanding and beautiful appearance and [the] man severe and bad: evil deed and he/she/it (Calebite *QK)
ସେହି ମନୁଷ୍ୟର ନାମ ନାବଲ ଓ ତାହାର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟାର ନାମ ଅବୀଗଲ; ସେହି ସ୍ତ୍ରୀ ବୁଦ୍ଧିମତୀ ଓ ରୂପବତୀ; ମାତ୍ର ସେହି ପୁରୁଷ କଟୁଭାଷୀ ଓ କୁକର୍ମକାରୀ ଓ ସେ କାଲେବ ବଂଶଜ ଥିଲା।
4 and to hear: hear David in/on/with wilderness for to shear Nabal [obj] flock his
ଆଉ ନାବଲ ଆପଣା ମେଷର ଲୋମ ଛେଦନ କରୁଅଛି ବୋଲି ଦାଉଦ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ଶୁଣିଲେ।
5 and to send: depart David ten youth and to say David to/for youth to ascend: rise Carmel [to] and to come (in): come to(wards) Nabal and to ask to/for him in/on/with name my to/for peace: greeting
ତହିଁରେ ଦାଉଦ ଦଶ ଜଣ ଯୁବାଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଲେ ଓ ଦାଉଦ ସେହି ଯୁବାମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ କର୍ମିଲକୁ ଉଠି ନାବଲ କତିକି ଯାଅ ଓ ମୋହର ନାମରେ ତାହାକୁ ନମସ୍କାର ଜଣାଅ।
6 and to say thus to/for alive and you(m. s.) peace: greeting and house: household your peace: greeting and all which to/for you peace: greeting
ପୁଣି, ତାହାକୁ ଏପରି କୁହ, ‘ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଚିରଜୀବୀ ହୁଅ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେଉ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଗୃହର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେଉ ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭ ସର୍ବସ୍ୱର ମଙ୍ଗଳ ହେଉ।
7 and now to hear: hear for to shear to/for you now [the] to pasture which to/for you to be with us not be humiliated them and not to reckon: missing to/for them anything all day to be they in/on/with Carmel
ଆମ୍ଭେ ଶୁଣିଲୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭର ଲୋମଛେଦକମାନେ ଅଛନ୍ତି; ତୁମ୍ଭର ମେଷପାଳକମାନେ ଏବେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କୌଣସି ଅପକାର କରି ନାହୁଁ, କିଅବା କର୍ମିଲରେ ଥିବା ସମୟଯାକ ସେମାନଙ୍କର କିଛି ହଜି ନାହିଁ।
8 to ask [obj] youth your and to tell to/for you and to find [the] youth favor in/on/with eye: appearance your for upon day pleasant to come (in): come to give: give [emph?] please [obj] which to find hand: power your to/for servant/slave your and to/for son: child your to/for David
ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଯୁବାମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଚାର, ସେମାନେ କହିବେ; ଏହେତୁ ଏହି ଯୁବାମାନେ ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦୃଷ୍ଟିରେ ଅନୁଗ୍ରହ ପାଉନ୍ତୁ; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ଶୁଭ ଦିନରେ ଆସିଅଛୁ। ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛୁ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ହସ୍ତରେ ଯାହା ଆସେ, ତାହା ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଆପଣା ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ ଓ ଆପଣା ପୁତ୍ର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଦିଅ।’”
9 and to come (in): come youth David and to speak: speak to(wards) Nabal like/as all [the] word: thing [the] these in/on/with name David and to rest
ତହୁଁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଯୁବାମାନେ ଯାଇ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ନାମରେ ନାବଲକୁ ଏହିସବୁ କଥା କହି କ୍ଷାନ୍ତ ହେଲେ।
10 and to answer Nabal [obj] servant/slave David and to say who? David and who? son: child Jesse [the] day to multiply servant/slave [the] to break through man: anyone from face: before lord his
ତହିଁରେ ନାବଲ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଦାସମାନଙ୍କୁ ଉତ୍ତର ଦେଇ କହିଲା, “ଦାଉଦ କିଏ? ଯିଶୀର ପୁତ୍ର କିଏ? ଆଜିକାଲି ଅନେକ ଦାସ ଅଛନ୍ତି, ଯେଉଁମାନେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ମୁନିବଠାରୁ ବିଗିଡ଼ି ବୁଲୁଛନ୍ତି।
11 and to take: take [obj] food: bread my and [obj] water my and [obj] slaughtered my which to slaughter to/for to shear me and to give: give to/for human which not to know where? from this they(masc.)
ତେବେ ମୁଁ କʼଣ ଆପଣା ରୁଟି ଓ ଆପଣା ଜଳ ଓ ଆପଣା ଲୋମଛେଦକମାନଙ୍କ ନିମନ୍ତେ ହତ ପଶୁମାନଙ୍କ ମାଂସ ନେଇ କେଉଁଆଡ଼ର ଅଜ୍ଞାତ ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେବି?”
12 and to overturn youth David to/for way: journey their and to return: return and to come (in): come and to tell to/for him like/as all [the] word: thing [the] these
ତହୁଁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଯୁବାମାନେ ଆପଣା ବାଟରେ ଫେରିଗଲେ ଓ ତାଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସି ସେହି ସବୁ କଥା ତାଙ୍କୁ ଜଣାଇଲେ।
13 and to say David to/for human his to gird man: anyone [obj] sword his and to gird man: anyone [obj] sword his and to gird also David [obj] sword his and to ascend: rise after David like/as four hundred man and hundred to dwell upon [the] article/utensil
ଏଥିରେ ଦାଉଦ ଆପଣା ଲୋକମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲେ, “ତୁମ୍ଭେମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଖଡ୍ଗ ବାନ୍ଧ।” ତହିଁରେ ସେମାନେ ପ୍ରତ୍ୟେକେ ଆପଣା ଆପଣା ଖଡ୍ଗ ବାନ୍ଧିଲେ ଓ ଦାଉଦ ହିଁ ଆପଣା ଖଡ୍ଗ ବାନ୍ଧିଲେ; ତହୁଁ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ପଛରେ ଊଣାଧିକ ଚାରି ଶହ ଲୋକ ଗମନ କଲେ; ପୁଣି, ଦୁଇ ଶହ ଲୋକ ସାମଗ୍ରୀ ପାଖରେ ରହିଲେ।
14 and to/for Abigail woman: wife Nabal to tell youth one from [the] youth to/for to say behold to send: depart David messenger from [the] wilderness to/for to bless [obj] lord our and to scream in/on/with them
ଏଥିମଧ୍ୟରେ ଯୁବାମାନଙ୍କ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଜଣେ ନାବଲର ଭାର୍ଯ୍ୟା ଅବୀଗଲକୁ ଜଣାଇ କହିଲା, “ଦେଖ, ଦାଉଦ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ତ୍ତାଙ୍କୁ ମଙ୍ଗଳବାଦ କରିବା ନିମନ୍ତେ ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରୁ ଦୂତମାନଙ୍କୁ ପଠାଇଥିଲେ, ତହିଁରେ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଖାଇ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇଲେ।
15 and [the] human pleasant to/for us much and not be humiliated and not to reckon: missing anything all day to go: went with them in/on/with to be we in/on/with land: country
ମାତ୍ର ସେହି ଲୋକମାନେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର ବଡ଼ ଉପକାରୀ, ପୁଣି, ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କ୍ଷେତ୍ରରେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ଥିବାଯାଏ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କର କୌଣସି ଅପକାର ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ, କି ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ କିଛି ହରାଇ ନାହୁଁ।
16 wall to be upon us also night also by day all day to be we with them to pasture [the] flock
ଆମ୍ଭେମାନେ ସେମାନଙ୍କ ସଙ୍ଗେ ମେଷ ଜଗିବାର ସମୟଯାକ ସେମାନେ ରାତ୍ରିରେ ଓ ଦିନରେ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ପ୍ରାଚୀର ସ୍ୱରୂପ ଥିଲେ।
17 and now to know and to see: examine what? to make: do for to end: decides [the] distress: harm to(wards) lord our and upon all house: household his and he/she/it son: descendant/people Belial from to speak: speak to(wards) him
ଏହେତୁ ଏବେ ତୁମ୍ଭର କି କର୍ତ୍ତବ୍ୟ, ଏହା ବିବେଚନା କରି ବୁଝ; କାରଣ ଆମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ କର୍ତ୍ତା ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ସମସ୍ତ ଗୃହ ପ୍ରତିକୂଳରେ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ସ୍ଥିର ହୋଇଅଛି; ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଏପରି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ଲୋକ ଯେ, ତାଙ୍କୁ କେହି କିଛି କହି ନ ପାରେ।”
18 and to hasten (Abigail *Qk) and to take: take hundred food: bread and two bag wine and five flock (to make *Qk) and five seah roasted and hundred cluster and hundred fig cake and to set: put upon [the] donkey
ତହୁଁ ଅବୀଗଲ ଶୀଘ୍ର ଦୁଇ ଶହ ରୁଟି ଓ ଦୁଇ କୁମ୍ପା ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାରସ ଓ ପାଞ୍ଚୋଟି କଟା ମେଷ ଓ ପାଞ୍ଚ ଗଉଣୀ ଭଜା ଶସ୍ୟ ଓ ଶହେ ପେଣ୍ଡା ଦ୍ରାକ୍ଷାଫଳ ଓ ଦୁଇ ଶହ ଡିମ୍ବିରି ଚକ୍ତି ନେଇ ଗଧମାନଙ୍କ ଉପରେ ନଦିଲା।
19 and to say to/for youth her to pass to/for face: before my look! I after you to come (in): come and to/for man: husband her Nabal not to tell
ପୁଣି, ସେ ଆପଣା ଯୁବାମାନଙ୍କୁ କହିଲା, “ମୋହର ଆଗେ ଆଗେ ଚାଲ; ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭମାନଙ୍କ ପଛେ ପଛେ ଯାଉଅଛି।” ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଆପଣା ସ୍ୱାମୀ ନାବଲକୁ ଏହା ଜଣାଇଲା ନାହିଁ।
20 and to be he/she/it to ride upon [the] donkey and to go down in/on/with secrecy [the] mountain: mount and behold David and human his to go down to/for to encounter: toward her and to meet [obj] them
ଏରୂପେ ସେ ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭ ଉପରେ ଚଢ଼ି ପର୍ବତ ଉହାଡ଼ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସନ୍ତେ, ଦେଖ, ଦାଉଦ ଓ ତାଙ୍କର ଲୋକମାନେ ଅବୀଗଲ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ଉପସ୍ଥିତ ହେଲେ ଓ ସେ ସେମାନଙ୍କୁ ଭେଟିଲା।
21 and David to say surely to/for deception to keep: guard [obj] all which to/for this in/on/with wilderness and not to reckon: missing from all which to/for him anything and to return: return to/for me distress: evil underneath: instead welfare
ପୂର୍ବରେ ଦାଉଦ କହିଥିଲେ, “ମୁଁ ଏଇଟାର ପ୍ରାନ୍ତରରେ ଥିବା ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟସବୁ ଖାଲି ମିଛରେ ଜଗିଲି, ଏହାର ସବୁ ଦ୍ରବ୍ୟରୁ କିଛି ହରଣ ହୋଇ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଭଲ ପାଲଟେ ମୋର ମନ୍ଦ କରିଅଛି।
22 thus to make: do God to/for enemy David and thus to add if: surely no to remain from all which to/for him till [the] morning to urinate in/on/with wall
ଏହାର ଯାହା କିଛି ଅଛି, ସେସବୁ ମଧ୍ୟରୁ ଯେବେ ସକାଳ ଆଲୁଅ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଗୋଟିଏ ପୁରୁଷ ପିଲା ଅବଶିଷ୍ଟ ରଖେ, ତେବେ ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଦାଉଦଙ୍କର ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କୁ ସେହି ଦଣ୍ଡ, ମଧ୍ୟ ତହିଁରୁ ଅଧିକ ଦେଉନ୍ତୁ।”
23 and to see: see Abigail [obj] David and to hasten and to go down from upon [the] donkey and to fall: fall to/for face David upon face her and to bow land: soil
ଏଣୁ ଅବୀଗଲ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖନ୍ତେ, ଶୀଘ୍ର ଗର୍ଦ୍ଦଭରୁ ଓହ୍ଲାଇ ଦାଉଦଙ୍କ ସମ୍ମୁଖରେ ମୁହଁ ମାଡ଼ି ପଡ଼ି ଭୂମିଷ୍ଠ ପ୍ରଣାମ କଲା।
24 and to fall: fall upon foot his and to say in/on/with me I lord my [the] iniquity: guilt and to speak: speak please maidservant your in/on/with ear: to ears your and to hear: hear [obj] word maidservant your
ପୁଣି, ତାଙ୍କ ଚରଣରେ ପଡ଼ି କହିଲା, “ହେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରଭୋ, ମୋʼ ଉପରେ, ମୋହର ଉପରେ ହିଁ ସେହି ଅପରାଧ ବର୍ତ୍ତୁ; ଆପଣା ଦାସୀକୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ କର୍ଣ୍ଣଗୋଚରରେ କହିବାକୁ ଦେଉନ୍ତୁ ଓ ଆପଣା ଦାସୀର କଥା ଆପଣ ଶୁଣନ୍ତୁ।
25 not please to set: consider lord my [obj] heart his to(wards) man [the] Belial [the] this upon Nabal for like/as name his so he/she/it Nabal name his and folly with him and I maidservant your not to see: see [obj] youth lord my which to send: depart
ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ମୋହର ପ୍ରଭୋ, ସେହି ଦୁଷ୍ଟ ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ନାବଲକୁ ମନରେ ନ କରନ୍ତୁ; କାରଣ ତାହାର ନାମ ଯେପରି, ସେ ସେପରି; ତାହାର ନାମ ନାବଲ ଓ ମୂଢ଼ତା ତାହାଠାରେ ଅଛି; ମାତ୍ର ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଏହି ଦାସୀ ମୋହର ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରେରିତ ଯୁବାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦେଖି ନାହିଁ।
26 and now lord my alive LORD and alive soul your which to withhold you LORD from to come (in): come in/on/with blood and to save hand: themselves your to/for you and now to be like/as Nabal enemy your and [the] to seek to(wards) lord my distress: evil
ହେ ମୋହର ପ୍ରଭୋ, ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ତ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ରକ୍ତପାତ ଦୋଷରୁ ଓ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ନିଜ ହସ୍ତରେ ଆତ୍ମ-ପ୍ରତିକାର କରିବାରୁ ବାରଣ କଲେ, ଏହେତୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ଓ ଆପଣ ଜୀବିତ ଥିବା ପ୍ରମାଣେ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନେ ଓ ମୋର ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅମଙ୍ଗଳ ଅନ୍ୱେଷଣକାରୀମାନେ ନାବଲ ପରି ହେଉନ୍ତୁ।

ଏଣୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଦାସୀ ମୋର ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ନିକଟକୁ ଯେଉଁ ଭେଟି ଆଣିଅଛି, ତାହା ମୋର ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଅନୁଗାମୀ ଯୁବାମାନଙ୍କୁ ଦିଆଯାଉ।
28 to lift: forgive please to/for transgression maidservant your for to make to make LORD to/for lord my house: household be faithful for battle LORD lord my to fight and distress: evil not to find in/on/with you from day your
ବିନୟ କରୁଅଛି, ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଦାସୀର ଅପରାଧ କ୍ଷମା କରନ୍ତୁ; ମୋର ପ୍ରଭୁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପକ୍ଷରେ ଯୁଦ୍ଧ କରୁଅଛନ୍ତି, ଏଥିପାଇଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋର ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଗୃହ ନିଶ୍ଚୟ ସୁସ୍ଥିର କରିବେ ଓ ଯାବଜ୍ଜୀବନ ଆପଣଙ୍କଠାରେ ମନ୍ଦତା ଦେଖା ନ ଯିବ।
29 and to arise: rise man to/for to pursue you and to/for to seek [obj] soul: life your and to be soul: life lord my to constrain in/on/with bundle [the] alive with LORD God your and [obj] soul: life enemy your to sling her in/on/with midst palm: dish [the] sling
ପୁଣି, ମନୁଷ୍ୟ ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ତାଡ଼ନା କରିବାକୁ ଓ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣ ନେବାକୁ ଉଠିଲେ ହେଁ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ପରମେଶ୍ୱରଙ୍କ ନିକଟରେ ମୋର ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣ ଜୀବନରୂପ ଗଣ୍ଠିଲୀରେ ଗଣ୍ଠି ପଡ଼ି ରହିବ; ମାତ୍ର ସେ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ଶତ୍ରୁମାନଙ୍କ ପ୍ରାଣକୁ ଛାଟିଣୀଖୋଲରୁ ଫିଙ୍ଗିଦେଲା ପରି ଫିଙ୍ଗି ଦେବେ।
30 and to be for to make: do LORD to/for lord my like/as all which to speak: speak [obj] [the] welfare upon you and to command you to/for leader upon Israel
ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଆପଣଙ୍କ ବିଷୟରେ ଯେସମସ୍ତ ମଙ୍ଗଳ କଥା କହିଅଛନ୍ତି, ତାହା ଯେତେବେଳେ ସେ ମୋର ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ପ୍ରତି ସଫଳ କରି ଆପଣଙ୍କୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ଅଗ୍ରଣୀ ରୂପେ ନିଯୁକ୍ତ କରିବେ,
31 and not to be this to/for you to/for staggering and to/for stumbling heart to/for lord my and to/for to pour: kill blood for nothing and to/for to save lord my to/for him and be good LORD to/for lord my and to remember [obj] maidservant your
ସେତେବେଳେ ଆପଣ ଅକାରଣରେ ରକ୍ତପାତ କଲେ, କିଅବା ମୋର ପ୍ରଭୁ ନିଜେ ଆତ୍ମ-ପ୍ରତିକାର କଲେ ବୋଲି ଆପଣଙ୍କର ବିଘ୍ନ କି ହୃଦୟର ବ୍ୟସ୍ତତା ଜନ୍ମିବ ନାହିଁ; ମାତ୍ର ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ମୋର ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ମଙ୍ଗଳ କରିବା ବେଳେ ଆପଣଙ୍କର ଏହି ଦାସୀକୁ ସ୍ମରଣ କରିବେ।”
32 and to say David to/for Abigail to bless LORD God Israel which to send: depart you [the] day: today [the] this to/for to encounter: meet me
ଏଥିରେ ଦାଉଦ ଅବୀଗଲକୁ କହିଲେ, “ଆଜି ଯେ ମୋʼ ସଙ୍ଗରେ ସାକ୍ଷାତ କରିବାକୁ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ପଠାଇଲେ, ସେହି ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ଇସ୍ରାଏଲର ପରମେଶ୍ୱର ଧନ୍ୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ;
33 and to bless taste your and to bless you(f. s.) which to restrain me [the] day: today [the] this from to come (in): come in/on/with blood and to save hand: themselves my to/for me
ପୁଣି, ତୁମ୍ଭର ସୁବିଚାର ଧନ୍ୟ ହେଉ ଓ ଆଜି ମୋତେ ରକ୍ତପାତ ଦୋଷରୁ ଓ ମୋର ନିଜ ହସ୍ତରେ ଆତ୍ମ-ପ୍ରତିକାରରୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କଲ ଯେ ତୁମ୍ଭେ, ତୁମ୍ଭେ ଧନ୍ୟା ହୁଅ।

ତହୁଁ ସେ ତାଙ୍କ ପାଇଁ ଯାହା ଆଣିଥିଲା, ଦାଉଦ ତାହା ହସ୍ତରୁ ତାହା ଗ୍ରହଣ କଲେ ଓ ତାହାକୁ କହିଲେ, “କୁଶଳରେ ଆପଣା ଗୃହକୁ ଯାଅ; ଦେଖ, ମୁଁ ତୁମ୍ଭ ରବ ଶୁଣିଲି ଓ ତୁମ୍ଭକୁ ଗ୍ରାହ୍ୟ କଲି।”

ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ଅବୀଗଲ ନାବଲ ନିକଟକୁ ଆସିଲା, ସେତେବେଳେ ଦେଖ, ସେ ଆପଣା ଗୃହରେ ରାଜଭୋଜ ପରି ଭୋଜ କରିଥିଲା; ପୁଣି, ନାବଲ ଅତିଶୟ ମତ୍ତ ଥିବାରୁ ତାହାର ମନ ଅତି ପ୍ରଫୁଲ୍ଲ ଥିଲା; ଏହେତୁ ସକାଳ ଆଲୁଅ ପର୍ଯ୍ୟନ୍ତ ଅବୀଗଲ ତାହାକୁ ଅଳ୍ପ ବା ବହୁତ କୌଣସି କଥା ଜଣାଇଲା ନାହିଁ।

ଏଥିଉତ୍ତାରେ ଊଣାଧିକ ଦଶ ଦିନ ଉତ୍ତାରେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନାବଲକୁ ଆଘାତ କରନ୍ତେ, ସେ ମଲା।
39 and to hear: hear David for to die Nabal and to say to bless LORD which to contend [obj] strife reproach my from hand: power Nabal and [obj] servant/slave his to withhold from distress: evil and [obj] distress: evil Nabal to return: return LORD in/on/with head his and to send: depart David and to speak: speak in/on/with Abigail to/for to take: marry her to/for him to/for woman: wife
ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ନାବଲ ମରିଅଛି, ଏହା ଦାଉଦ ଶୁଣି କହିଲେ, “ନାବଲ ହସ୍ତରୁ ମୋହର ଅପମାନଜନକ ବିବାଦର ପ୍ରତିବାଦ କଲେ ଓ ଆପଣା ଦାସକୁ ମନ୍ଦ କର୍ମରୁ ନିବୃତ୍ତ କଲେ ଯେ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ, ସେ ଧନ୍ୟ ହେଉନ୍ତୁ; ଆଉ ସଦାପ୍ରଭୁ ନାବଲର ମନ୍ଦ କର୍ମର ପ୍ରତିଫଳ ତାହା ମସ୍ତକରେ ବର୍ତ୍ତାଇଅଛନ୍ତି।” ଏଉତ୍ତାରେ ଦାଉଦ ଅବୀଗଲକୁ ବିବାହ କରିବା ବିଷୟ କଥାବାର୍ତ୍ତା କରିବା ପାଇଁ ତାହା ନିକଟକୁ ଲୋକ ପଠାଇଲେ।

ଏଥିରେ ସେ ଉଠି ଭୂମିଷ୍ଠ ପ୍ରଣାମ କରି କହିଲା, “ଦେଖ, ତୁମ୍ଭ ଦାସୀ ମୋହର ପ୍ରଭୁଙ୍କ ଦାସମାନଙ୍କ ପାଦ ଧୋଇବା ଦାସୀ।”
