1 Samuel 15
1 and to say Samuel to(wards) Saul [obj] me to send: depart LORD to/for to anoint you to/for king upon people his upon Israel and now to hear: hear to/for voice: message word LORD
Samuel dit un jour à Saül: "C’Est moi que le Seigneur avait envoyé pour te sacrer roi de son peuple Israël; maintenant donc, obéis aux paroles du Seigneur.
2 thus to say LORD Hosts to reckon: list [obj] which to make: do Amalek to/for Israel which to set: put to/for him in/on/with way: journey in/on/with to ascend: rise he from Egypt
Ainsi parle l’Eternel-Cebaot: J’Ai à demander compte de ce qu’Amalec a fait à Israël, en se mettant sur son chemin quand il sortit d’Egypte.
3 now to go: went and to smite [obj] Amalek and to devote/destroy [obj] all which to/for him and not to spare upon him and to die from man till woman from infant and till to suckle from cattle and till sheep from camel and till donkey
Maintenant, va frapper Amalec, et anéantissez tout ce qui est à lui; qu’il n’obtienne point de merci! Fais tout périr, homme et femme, enfant et nourrisson, bœuf et brebis, chameau et âne!"
4 and to hear: proclaim Saul [obj] [the] people and to reckon: list them in/on/with Telaim hundred thousand on foot and ten thousand with man Judah
Saül convoqua le peuple et le dénombra à Telaïm: il y avait deux cent mille gens de pied, plus dix mille parmi les hommes de Juda.
5 and to come (in): come Saul till city Amalek and to ambush in/on/with torrent: valley
Saül s’avança jusqu’à la cité d’Amalec, et se porta dans la vallée.
6 and to say Saul to(wards) [the] Kenite to go: went to turn aside: depart to go down from midst Amalekite lest to gather you with him and you(m. s.) to make: do kindness with all son: descendant/people Israel in/on/with to ascend: rise they from Egypt and to turn aside: depart Kenite from midst Amalek
Et il dit aux Kénéens: "Allez, partez, séparez-vous de l’Amalécite, car je pourrais vous anéantir avec lui; et cependant vous avez agi avec bonté à l’égard des enfants d’Israël à l’époque où ils quittèrent l’Egypte." Et les Kénéens se séparèrent d’Amalec.
7 and to smite Saul [obj] Amalek from Havilah to come (in): towards you Shur which upon face: surface Egypt
Saül défit Amalec, depuis Havila jusqu’à Chour, sur la frontière d’Egypte.
8 and to capture [obj] Agag king Amalek alive and [obj] all [the] people to devote/destroy to/for lip: edge sword
Il prit vivant Agag, roi d’Amalec, et fit passer tout son peuple au fil de l’épée.
9 and to spare Saul and [the] people upon Agag and upon best [the] flock and [the] cattle and [the] second and upon [the] ram and upon all [the] good and not be willing to devote/destroy them and all [the] work vile and to melt [obj] her to devote/destroy
Mais Saül et l’armée épargnèrent Agag, ainsi que les meilleures pièces du menu et du gros bétail, les coursiers et autres animaux de choix, tout ce qu’il y avait de meilleur; ils ne voulurent point les détruire, n’anéantissant que les choses chétives et de peu de valeur.
10 and to be word LORD to(wards) Samuel to/for to say
Sur quoi, l’Eternel parla ainsi à Samuel:
11 to be sorry: relent for to reign [obj] Saul to/for king for to return: turn back from after me and [obj] word my not to arise: establish and to be incensed to/for Samuel and to cry out to(wards) LORD all [the] night
"Je regrette d’avoir conféré la royauté à Saül, parce qu’il m’a été infidèle et n’a pas accompli mes ordres." Et Samuel, consterné, implora le Seigneur toute la nuit.
12 and to rise Samuel to/for to encounter: meet Saul in/on/with morning and to tell to/for Samuel to/for to say to come (in): come Saul [the] Carmel [to] and behold to stand to/for him hand: themselves and to turn: turn and to pass and to go down [the] Gilgal
Le lendemain, de bonne heure, Samuel s’en alla à la rencontre de Saül. Mais on lui rapporta la nouvelle que Saül, arrivé à Carmel, venait de s’y élever un trophée, qu’il avait ensuite changé de direction, s’acheminant vers Ghilgal.
13 and to come (in): come Samuel to(wards) Saul and to say to/for him Saul to bless you(m. s.) to/for LORD to arise: establish [obj] word LORD
Alors Samuel rejoignit Saül, et celui-ci lui dit: "Sois le bienvenu au nom du Seigneur! J’Ai exécuté l’ordre de l’Eternel."
14 and to say Samuel and what? voice: sound [the] flock [the] this in/on/with ear my and voice: sound [the] cattle which I to hear: hear
"Et qu’est-ce, demanda Samuel, que ces bêlements qui frappent mes oreilles, et ces mugissements de bœufs que j’entends?"
15 and to say Saul from Amalekite to come (in): bring them which to spare [the] people upon best [the] flock and [the] cattle because to sacrifice to/for LORD God your and [obj] [the] advantage to devote/destroy
Saül répondit: "On a amené ces animaux de chez les Amalécites, le peuple ayant épargné les plus gras du menu et du gros bétail, pour les sacrifier à l’Eternel, ton Dieu; mais le reste, nous l’avons détruit.
16 and to say Samuel to(wards) Saul to slacken and to tell to/for you [obj] which to speak: speak LORD to(wards) me [the] night (and to say *QK) to/for him to speak: speak
Samuel dit à Saül: "Assez! Je veux t’apprendre ce que, cette nuit, m’a dit le Seigneur." Il lui répondit: "Parle."
17 and to say Samuel not if small you(m. s.) in/on/with eye: appearance your head: leader tribe Israel you(m. s.) and to anoint you LORD to/for king upon Israel
Et Samuel dit: "Quoi! Si tu es petit à tes propres yeux, n’es-tu pas le chef des tribus d’Israël? Et le Seigneur ne t’a-t-il pas sacré roi d’Israël?
18 and to send: depart you LORD in/on/with way: journey and to say to go: went and to devote/destroy [obj] [the] sinner [obj] Amalek and to fight in/on/with him till to end: destroy they [obj] them
Le Seigneur t’a chargé d’une expédition il a dit: Va détruire ce peuple coupable, cet Amalec, et fais-lui une guerre d’extermination!
19 and to/for what? not to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD and to pounce to(wards) [the] spoil and to make: do [the] bad: evil in/on/with eye: seeing LORD
Pourquoi donc n’as-tu pas obéi à la voix du Seigneur, et t’es-tu jeté sur le butin, faisant ainsi ce qui déplaît au Seigneur?"
20 and to say Saul to(wards) Samuel which to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD and to go: went in/on/with way: journey which to send: depart me LORD and to come (in): bring [obj] Agag king Amalek and [obj] Amalek to devote/destroy
Saül répliqua à Samuel: "Mais j’ai obéi à la voix du Seigneur! J’Ai accompli la mission qu’il m’avait donnée! J’Ai emmené Agag, roi d’Amalec, et Amalec je l’ai exterminé!
21 and to take: take [the] people from [the] spoil flock and cattle first: best [the] devoted thing to/for to sacrifice to/for LORD God your in/on/with Gilgal
Et le peuple a choisi, dans les dépouilles, du menu et du gros bétail, le meilleur de l’anathème, pour l’immoler à l’Eternel, ton Dieu, à Ghilgal…
22 and to say Samuel pleasure to/for LORD in/on/with burnt offering and sacrifice like/as to hear: obey in/on/with voice LORD behold to hear: obey from sacrifice pleasant to/for to listen from fat ram
Samuel répondit "Des holocaustes, des sacrifices ont-ils autant de prix aux yeux de l’Eternel que l’obéissance à la voix divine? Ah! L’Obéissance vaut mieux qu’un sacrifice, et la soumission que la graisse des béliers!
23 for sin divination rebellion and evil: wickedness and teraphim to press because to reject [obj] word LORD and to reject you from king
Mais la rébellion est coupable comme la magie, et l’insubordination comme le crime d’idolâtrie. Puisque tu as repoussé la parole de l’Eternel, il te repousse de la royauté."
24 and to say Saul to(wards) Samuel to sin for to pass: trespass [obj] lip: word LORD and [obj] word your for to fear [obj] [the] people and to hear: obey in/on/with voice their
Saül dit à Samuel: "J’Ai péché, car j’ai transgressé la parole de l’Eternel et tes ordres. Je craignais le peuple, et j’ai cédé à sa voix.
25 and now to lift: forgive please [obj] sin my and to return: return with me and to bow to/for LORD
Et maintenant, sois indulgent pour ma faute reviens avec moi, que je me prosterne devant le Seigneur!"
26 and to say Samuel to(wards) Saul not to return: return with you for to reject [obj] word LORD and to reject you LORD from to be king upon Israel
Samuel répondit à Saül: "Je n’irai pas avec toi: tu as dédaigné la parole de l’Eternel, l’Eternel te déclare indigne d’être roi d’Israël."
27 and to turn: turn Samuel to/for to go: went and to strengthen: hold in/on/with wing robe his and to tear
Comme Samuel lui tournait le dos pour s’en aller, Saül saisit le pan de sa robe, qui se déchira;
28 and to say to(wards) him Samuel to tear LORD [obj] kingdom Israel from upon you [the] day: today and to give: give her to/for neighbor your [the] pleasant from you
et Samuel lui dit: "C’Est ainsi que le Seigneur t’arrache aujourd’hui la royauté d’Israël, pour la donner à ton prochain, plus digne que toi!
29 and also perpetuity Israel not to deal and not to be sorry: relent for not man he/she/it to/for to be sorry: relent
Du reste, le Protecteur d’Israël n’est ni trompeur ni versatile; ce n’est pas un mortel, pour qu’il se rétracte."
30 and to say to sin now to honor: honour me please before old: elder people my and before Israel and to return: return with me and to bow to/for LORD God your
"Je suis coupable, dit Saül; toutefois, en ce moment, montre-moi quelque égard devant les anciens de mon peuple et devant Israël, en revenant avec moi, pour que je me prosterne devant l’Eternel, ton Dieu.
31 and to return: turn back Samuel after Saul and to bow Saul to/for LORD
Samuel revint à la suite de Saül, lequel se prosterna devant l’Eternel.
32 and to say Samuel to approach: bring to(wards) me [obj] Agag king Amalek and to go: come to(wards) him Agag bond and to say Agag surely to turn aside: depart bitter [the] death
Et Samuel dit: "Amenez-moi Agag, roi d’Amalec." Agag s’avança vers lui d’un air joyeux, en disant: "En vérité, l’amertume de la mort a disparu."
33 and to say Samuel like/as as which be bereaved woman sword your so be bereaved from woman mother your and to hew Samuel [obj] Agag to/for face: before LORD in/on/with Gilgal
Mais Samuel dit: "Comme ton épée a désolé les mères, qu’ainsi ta mère soit désolée entre les femmes!" Et Samuel fit exécuter Agag devant le Seigneur, à Ghilgal.
34 and to go: went Samuel [the] Ramah [to] and Saul to ascend: rise to(wards) house: home his Gibeah Saul
Samuel s’en alla à Rama, et Saül se retira dans sa maison à Ghibea-de-Saül.
35 and not to add: again Samuel to/for to see: see [obj] Saul till day death his for to mourn Samuel to(wards) Saul and LORD to be sorry: relent for to reign [obj] Saul upon Israel
Samuel ne revit plus Saül jusqu’au jour de sa mort, à cause de la douleur que lui inspirait Saül, le Seigneur ayant regretté d’avoir fait Saül roi d’Israël.
