1 Kings 1
1 and [the] king David be old to come (in): advanced in/on/with day: year and to cover him in/on/with garment and not to warm to/for him
Και ο βασιλεύς Δαβίδ ήτο γέρων, προβεβηκώς την ηλικίαν· και εσκέπαζον αυτόν με ιμάτια, πλην δεν εθερμαίνετο.
2 and to say to/for him servant/slave his to seek to/for lord my [the] king maiden virgin and to stand: stand to/for face: before [the] king and to be to/for him be useful and to lie down: lay down in/on/with bosom: embrace your and to warm to/for lord my [the] king
Και είπον οι δούλοι αυτού προς αυτόν, Ας ζητήσωσι διά τον κύριόν μου τον βασιλέα νεάνιδα παρθένον, διά να ίσταται έμπροσθεν του βασιλέως και να περιθάλπη αυτόν, και να κοιμάται εις τον κόλπον σου, διά να θερμαίνηται ο κύριός μου ο βασιλεύς.
3 and to seek maiden beautiful in/on/with all border: area Israel and to find [obj] Abishag [the] Shunammites and to come (in): bring [obj] her to/for king
Και εζήτησαν εν πάσι τοις ορίοις του Ισραήλ νεάνιδα ώραίαν· και εύρηκαν την Αβισάγ την Σουναμίτιν, και έφεραν αυτήν προς τον βασιλέα.
4 and [the] maiden beautiful till much and to be to/for king be useful and to minister him and [the] king not to know her
Ήτο δε η νεάνις ώραία σφόδρα, και περιέθαλπε τον βασιλέα, και υπηρέτει αυτόν· πλην ο βασιλεύς δεν εγνώρισεν αυτήν.
5 and Adonijah son: child Haggith to lift: exalt to/for to say I to reign and to make to/for him chariot and horseman and fifty man to run: run to/for face: before his
Τότε Αδωνίας ο υιός της Αγγείθ επήρθη εις εαυτόν, λέγων, Εγώ θέλω βασιλεύσει και ητοίμασεν εις εαυτόν αμάξας και ιππείς και πεντήκοντα άνδρας προτρέχοντας έμπροσθεν αυτού.
6 and not to hurt him father his from day his to/for to say why? thus to make: do and also he/she/it pleasant appearance much and [obj] him to beget after Absalom
Ο δε πατήρ αυτού δεν επίκραινέ ποτέ αυτόν, λέγων, Διά τι συ πράττεις ούτω; ήτο δε και ώραίος την όψιν σφόδρα· και η μήτηρ αυτού εγέννησεν αυτόν μετά τον Αβεσσαλώμ.
7 and to be word: thing his with Joab son: child Zeruiah and with Abiathar [the] priest and to help after Adonijah
Και συνελάλησε μετά του Ιωάβ υιού της Σερουΐας, και μετά Αβιάθαρ του ιερέως· και ούτοι, ακολουθήσαντες τον Αδωνίαν, εβοήθουν αυτόν.
8 and Zadok [the] priest and Benaiah son: child Jehoiada and Nathan [the] prophet and Shimei and Rei and [the] mighty man which to/for David not to be with Adonijah
Σαδώκ όμως ο ιερεύς και Βεναΐας ο υιός του Ιωδαέ και Νάθαν ο προφήτης και Σιμεΐ και Ρεΐ και οι δυνατοί του Δαβίδ δεν ήσαν μετά του Αδωνία.
9 and to sacrifice Adonijah flock and cattle and fatling with (Zoheleth) Stone [the] Serpent's which beside En-rogel En-rogel and to call: call to [obj] all brother: male-sibling his son: child [the] king and to/for all human Judah servant/slave [the] king
Και έσφαξεν ο Αδωνίας πρόβατα και βόας και σιτευτά πλησίον της πέτρας του Ζωελέθ, ήτις είναι πλησίον της Εν-ρωγήλ, και εκάλεσε πάντας τους αδελφούς αυτού τους υιούς του βασιλέως και πάντας τους άνδρας του Ιούδα τους δούλους του βασιλέως.
10 and [obj] Nathan [the] prophet and Benaiah and [obj] [the] mighty man and [obj] Solomon brother: male-sibling his not to call: call to
Τον Νάθαν όμως τον προφήτην και τον Βεναΐαν και τους δυνατούς και Σολομώντα τον αδελφόν αυτού δεν εκάλεσε.
11 and to say Nathan to(wards) Bathsheba Bathsheba mother Solomon to/for to say not to hear: hear for to reign Adonijah son: child Haggith and lord our David not to know
Και είπεν ο Νάθαν προς την Βηθ-σαβεέ την μητέρα του Σολομώντος, λέγων, Δεν ήκουσας ότι εβασίλευσεν Αδωνίας ο υιός της Αγγείθ, και ο κύριος ημών Δαβίδ δεν εξεύρει τούτο;
12 and now to go: come! to advise you please counsel and to escape [obj] soul: life your and [obj] soul: life son: child your Solomon
τώρα λοιπόν ελθέ να σοι δώσω, παρακαλώ, συμβουλήν, διά να σώσης την ζωήν σου και την ζωήν του υιού σου Σολομώντος·
13 to go: went and to come (in): come to(wards) [the] king David and to say to(wards) him not you(m. s.) lord my [the] king to swear to/for maidservant your to/for to say for Solomon son: child your to reign after me and he/she/it to dwell upon throne my and why? to reign Adonijah
ύπαγε και είσελθε προς τον βασιλέα Δαβίδ και ειπέ προς αυτόν, Κύριέ μου βασιλεύ, συ δεν ώμοσας εις την δούλην σου, λέγων, Βεβαίως Σολομών ο υιός σου θέλει βασιλεύσει μετ' εμέ, και αυτός θέλει καθίσει επί του θρόνου μου; διά τι λοιπόν εβασίλευσεν ο Αδωνίας;
14 behold still you to speak: speak there with [the] king and I to come (in): come after you and to fill [obj] word your
ιδού, ενώ έτι συ λαλείς εκεί μετά του βασιλέως, θέλω ελθεί και εγώ κατόπιν σου και θέλω αναπληρώσει τους λόγους σου.
15 and to come (in): come Bathsheba Bathsheba to(wards) [the] king [the] chamber [to] and [the] king be old much and Abishag [the] Shunammites to minister [obj] [the] king
Και εισήλθεν η Βηθ-σαβεέ προς τον βασιλέα εις τον κοιτώνα· ήτο δε ο βασιλεύς γέρων σφόδρα και Αβισάγ η Σουναμίτις υπηρέτει τον βασιλέα.
16 and to bow Bathsheba Bathsheba and to bow to/for king and to say [the] king what? to/for you
Και κύψασα η Βηθ-σαβεέ, προσεκύνησε τον βασιλέα. Και ο βασιλεύς είπε, Τι έχεις;
17 and to say to/for him lord my you(m. s.) to swear in/on/with LORD God your to/for maidservant your for Solomon son: child your to reign after me and he/she/it to dwell upon throne my
Η δε είπε προς αυτόν, Κύριέ μου, συ ώμοσας εις Κύριον τον Θεόν σου προς την δούλην σου, λέγων, Βεβαίως ο Σολομών, ο υιός σου, θέλει βασιλεύσει μετ' εμέ, και αυτός θέλει καθίσει επί του θρόνου μου·
18 and now behold Adonijah to reign and now lord my [the] king not to know
αλλά τώρα, ιδού, ο Αδωνίας εβασίλευσε· και συ τώρα, κύριέ μου βασιλεύ, δεν εξεύρεις τούτο·
19 and to sacrifice cattle and fatling and flock to/for abundance and to call: call to to/for all son: child [the] king and to/for Abiathar [the] priest and to/for Joab ruler [the] army and to/for Solomon servant/slave your not to call: call to
και έσφαξε βόας και σιτευτά και πρόβατα εν αφθονία, και εκάλεσε πάντας τους υιούς του βασιλέως και Αβιάθαρ τον ιερέα και Ιωάβ τον αρχιστράτηγον· τον δούλον σου όμως Σολομώντα δεν εκάλεσεν·
20 and you(m. s.) lord my [the] king eye all Israel upon you to/for to tell to/for them who? to dwell upon throne lord my [the] king after him
αλλ' εις σε, κύριέ μου βασιλεύ, εις σε αποβλέπουσιν οι οφθαλμοί παντός του Ισραήλ, διά να απαγγείλης προς αυτούς τις θέλει καθίσει επί του θρόνου του κυρίου μου του βασιλέως μετ' αυτόν·
21 and to be like/as to lie down: sleep lord my [the] king with father his and to be I and son: child my Solomon sinner
ειδεμή, αφού ο κύριός μου ο βασιλεύς κοιμηθή μετά των πατέρων αυτού, εγώ και ο υιός μου ο Σολομών θέλομεν θεωρείσθαι πταίσται.
22 and behold still she to speak: speak with [the] king and Nathan [the] prophet to come (in): come
Και ιδού, ενώ αυτή ελάλει έτι μετά του βασιλέως, ήλθε και Νάθαν ο προφήτης.
23 and to tell to/for king to/for to say behold Nathan [the] prophet and to come (in): come to/for face: before [the] king and to bow to/for king upon face his land: soil [to]
Και ανήγγειλαν προς τον βασιλέα, λέγοντες, Ιδού, Νάθαν ο προφήτης. Και εισελθών ενώπιον του βασιλέως, προσεκύνησε τον βασιλέα κατά πρόσωπον αυτού έως εδάφους.
24 and to say Nathan lord my [the] king you(m. s.) to say Adonijah to reign after me and he/she/it to dwell upon throne my
Και είπεν ο Νάθαν, Κύριέ μου βασιλεύ, συ είπας, Ο Αδωνίας θέλει βασιλεύσει μετ' εμέ και αυτός θέλει καθίσει επί του θρόνου μου;
25 for to go down [the] day: today and to sacrifice cattle and fatling and flock to/for abundance and to call: call to to/for all son: child [the] king and to/for ruler [the] army and to/for Abiathar [the] priest and behold they to eat and to drink to/for face: before his and to say to live [the] king Adonijah
διότι κατέβη σήμερον και έσφαξε βόας και σιτευτά και πρόβατα εν αφθονία, και εκάλεσε πάντας τους υιούς του βασιλέως και τους στρατηγούς και Αβιάθαρ τον ιερέα· και ιδού, τρώγουσι και πίνουσιν ενώπιον αυτού και λέγουσι, Ζήτω ο βασιλεύς Αδωνίας·
26 and to/for me I servant/slave your and to/for Zadok [the] priest and to/for Benaiah son: child Jehoiada and to/for Solomon servant/slave your not to call: call to
εμέ δε, εμέ τον δούλον σου, και Σαδώκ τον ιερέα και Βεναΐαν τον υιόν του Ιωδαέ και Σολομώντα τον δούλον σου δεν εκάλεσε·
27 if: surely no from with lord my [the] king to be [the] word: thing [the] this and not to know [obj] (servant/slave your *QK) who? to dwell upon throne lord my [the] king after him
παρά του κυρίου μου του βασιλέως έγεινε το πράγμα τούτο, και δεν εφανέρωσας εις τον δούλον σου τις θέλει καθίσει επί του θρόνου του κυρίου μου του βασιλέως μετ' αυτόν;
28 and to answer [the] king David and to say to call: call to to/for me to/for Bathsheba Bathsheba and to come (in): come to/for face: before [the] king and to stand: stand to/for face: before [the] king
Και απεκρίθη ο βασιλεύς Δαβίδ και είπε, Καλέσατέ μοι την Βηθ-σαβεέ. Και εισήλθεν ενώπιον του βασιλέως και εστάθη έμπροσθεν του βασιλέως.
29 and to swear [the] king and to say alive LORD which to ransom [obj] soul my from all distress
Και ώμοσεν ο βασιλεύς και είπε, Ζη Κύριος, όστις ελύτρωσε την ψυχήν μου εκ πάσης στενοχωρίας,
30 for like/as as which to swear to/for you in/on/with LORD God Israel to/for to say for Solomon son: child your to reign after me and he/she/it to dwell upon throne my underneath: instead me for so to make: do [the] day: today [the] this
βεβαίως, καθώς ώμοσα προς σε εις Κύριον τον Θεόν του Ισραήλ, λέγων, ότι Σολομών ο υιός σου θέλει βασιλεύσει μετ' εμέ, και αυτός θέλει καθίσει αντ' εμού επί του θρόνου μου, ούτω θέλω κάμει την ημέραν ταύτην.
31 and to bow Bathsheba Bathsheba face land: soil and to bow to/for king and to say to live lord my [the] king David to/for forever: enduring
Τότε η Βηθ-σαβεέ, κύψασα κατά πρόσωπον έως εδάφους, προσεκύνησε τον βασιλέα και είπε, Ζήτω ο κύριός μου ο βασιλεύς Δαβίδ εις τον αιώνα.
32 and to say [the] king David to call: call to to/for me to/for Zadok [the] priest and to/for Nathan [the] prophet and to/for Benaiah son: child Jehoiada and to come (in): come to/for face: before [the] king
Και είπεν ο βασιλεύς Δαβίδ, Καλέσατέ μοι Σαδώκ τον ιερέα και Νάθαν τον προφήτην και Βεναΐαν τον υιόν του Ιωδαέ. Και ήλθον ενώπιον του βασιλέως.
33 and to say [the] king to/for them to take: take with you [obj] servant/slave lord your and to ride [obj] Solomon son: child my upon [the] female mule which to/for me and to go down [obj] him to(wards) Gihon
Και είπε προς αυτούς ο βασιλεύς, Λάβετε μεθ' εαυτών τους δούλους του κυρίου σας και καθίσατε Σολομώντα τον υιόν μου επί την ημίονόν μου και καταβιβάσατε αυτόν εις Γιών·
34 and to anoint [obj] him there Zadok [the] priest and Nathan [the] prophet to/for king upon Israel and to blow in/on/with trumpet and to say to live [the] king Solomon
και ας χρίσωσιν αυτόν εκεί Σαδώκ ο ιερεύς και Νάθαν ο προφήτης βασιλέα επί τον Ισραήλ· και σαλπίσατε διά της σάλπιγγος και είπατε, Ζήτω ο βασιλεύς Σολομών·
35 and to ascend: rise after him and to come (in): come and to dwell upon throne my and he/she/it to reign underneath: instead me and with him to command to/for to be leader upon Israel and upon Judah
τότε θέλετε αναβή κατόπιν αυτού, διά να έλθη και να καθίση επί τον θρόνον μου· και αυτός θέλει βασιλεύσει αντ' εμού· και αυτόν προσέταξα να ήναι ηγεμών επί τον Ισραήλ και επί τον Ιούδαν.
36 and to answer Benaiah son: child Jehoiada [obj] [the] king and to say amen so to say LORD God lord my [the] king
Και απεκρίθη Βεναΐας ο υιός του Ιωδαέ προς τον βασιλέα, και είπεν, Αμήν· ούτως ας επικυρώση Κύριος ο Θεός του κυρίου μου του βασιλέως·
37 like/as as which to be LORD with lord my [the] king so (to be *QK) with Solomon and to magnify [obj] throne his from throne lord my [the] king David
καθώς εστάθη ο Κύριος μετά του κυρίου μου του βασιλέως, ούτω να ήναι και μετά του Σολομώντος, και να μεγαλύνη τον θρόνον αυτού υπέρ τον θρόνον του κυρίου μου του βασιλέως Δαβίδ.
38 and to go down Zadok [the] priest and Nathan [the] prophet and Benaiah son: child Jehoiada and [the] Cherethite and [the] Pelethite and to ride [obj] Solomon upon female mule [the] king David and to go: take [obj] him upon Gihon
Τότε κατέβη Σαδώκ ο ιερεύς και Νάθαν ο προφήτης και Βεναΐας ο υιός του Ιωδαέ και οι Χερεθαίοι και οι Φελεθαίοι, και εκάθισαν τον Σολομώντα επί την ημίονον του βασιλέως Δαβίδ και έφεραν αυτόν εις Γιών.
39 and to take: take Zadok [the] priest [obj] horn [the] oil from [the] tent and to anoint [obj] Solomon and to blow in/on/with trumpet and to say all [the] people to live [the] king Solomon
Και έλαβε Σαδώκ ο ιερεύς το κέρας του ελαίου εκ της σκηνής και έχρισε τον Σολομώντα. Και εσάλπισαν διά της σάλπιγγος· και είπε πας ο λαός, Ζήτω ο βασιλεύς Σολομών.
40 and to ascend: rise all [the] people after him and [the] people to play flute in/on/with flute and glad joy great: large and to break up/open [the] land: country/planet in/on/with voice: sound their
Και ανέβη πας ο λαός κατόπιν αυτού· και έπαιζεν ο λαός αυλούς και ευφραίνετο ευφροσύνην μεγάλην, και η γη εσχίζετο εκ των φωνών αυτών.
41 and to hear: hear Adonijah and all [the] to call: call to which with him and they(masc.) to end: finish to/for to eat and to hear: hear Joab [obj] voice: sound [the] trumpet and to say why? voice: sound [the] town to roar
Και ήκουσεν Αδωνίας και πάντες οι κεκλημένοι αυτού, καθώς ετελείωσαν να τρώγωσι. Και ότε ήκουσεν ο Ιωάβ την φωνήν της σάλπιγγος, είπε, Τις η φωνή αύτη της πόλεως θορυβούσης;
42 still he to speak: speak and behold Jonathan son: child Abiathar [the] priest to come (in): come and to say Adonijah to come (in): come for man strength: worthy you(m. s.) and good to bear tidings
Ενώ έτι ελάλει, ιδού, Ιωνάθαν, ο υιός Αβιάθαρ του ιερέως, ήλθε· και είπεν ο Αδωνίας προς αυτόν, Είσελθε· διότι συ είσαι ανήρ γενναίος και φέρεις αγαθάς αγγελίας.
43 and to answer Jonathan and to say to/for Adonijah truly lord our [the] king David to reign [obj] Solomon
Και αποκριθείς ο Ιωνάθαν είπε προς τον Αδωνίαν, Βεβαίως κύριος ημών ο βασιλεύς Δαβίδ έκαμε βασιλέα τον Σολομώντα·
44 and to send: depart with him [the] king [obj] Zadok [the] priest and [obj] Nathan [the] prophet and Benaiah son: child Jehoiada and [the] Cherethite and [the] Pelethite and to ride [obj] him upon female mule [the] king
και απέστειλε μετ' αυτού ο βασιλεύς Σαδώκ τον ιερέα και Νάθαν τον προφήτη και Βεναΐαν τον υιόν του Ιωδαέ και τους Χερεθαίους και τους Φελεθαίους, και εκάθισαν αυτόν επί την ημίονον του βασιλέως·
45 and to anoint [obj] him Zadok [the] priest and Nathan [the] prophet to/for king in/on/with Gihon and to ascend: rise from there glad and to make noise [the] town he/she/it [the] voice: sound which to hear: hear
και έχρισαν αυτόν Σαδώκ ο ιερεύς και Νάθαν ο προφήτης βασιλέα εν Γιών· και ανέβησαν εκείθεν ευφραινόμενοι, και η πόλις αντήχησεν· αύτη είναι η φωνή, την οποίαν ηκούσατε·
46 and also to dwell Solomon upon throne [the] kingship
και μάλιστα εκάθησεν ο Σολομών επί του θρόνου της βασιλείας·
47 and also to come (in): come servant/slave [the] king to/for to bless [obj] lord our [the] king David to/for to say be good (God *QK) [obj] name Solomon from name your and to magnify [obj] throne his from throne your and to bow [the] king upon [the] bed
και εισήλθον έτι οι δούλοι του βασιλέως να ευχηθώσι τον κύριον ημών τον βασιλέα Δαβίδ, λέγοντες, Ο Θεός να λαμπρύνη το όνομα του Σολομώντος υπέρ το όνομά σου, και να μεγαλύνη τον θρόνον σου και να μεγαλύνη τον θρόνον αυτού υπέρ τον θρόνον σου. και προσεκύνησεν ο βασιλεύς επί της κλίνης·
48 and also thus to say [the] king to bless LORD God Israel which to give: give [the] day: today to dwell upon throne my and eye my to see: see
και είπε προσέτι ο βασιλεύς ούτως· Ευλογητός Κύριος ο Θεός του Ισραήλ, όστις έδωκεν εις εμέ σήμερον διάδοχον καθήμενον επί του θρόνου μου, και οι οφθαλμοί μου βλέπουσι τούτο.
49 and to tremble and to arise: rise all [the] to call: call to which to/for Adonijah and to go: went man: anyone to/for way: journey his
Τότε πάντες οι κεκλημένοι, οι μετά του Αδωνία, εξεπλάγησαν και σηκωθέντες, υπήγαν έκαστος την οδόν αυτού.
50 and Adonijah to fear from face of Solomon and to arise: rise and to go: went and to strengthen: hold in/on/with horn [the] altar
Ο δε Αδωνίας εφοβήθη από προσώπου του Σολομώντος και σηκωθείς υπήγε και επιάσθη από των κεράτων του θυσιαστηρίου.
51 and to tell to/for Solomon to/for to say behold Adonijah to fear [obj] [the] king Solomon and behold to grasp in/on/with horn [the] altar to/for to say to swear to/for me like/as day: today [the] king Solomon if: surely no to die [obj] servant/slave his in/on/with sword
Και ανήγγειλαν προς τον Σολομώντα, λέγοντες, Ιδού, ο Αδωνίας φοβείται τον βασιλέα Σολομώντα· και ιδού, επιάσθη από των κεράτων του θυσιαστηρίου, λέγων, Ας ομόση προς εμέ σήμερον ο βασιλεύς Σολομών, ότι δεν θέλει θανατώσει τον δούλον αυτού διά ρομφαίας.
52 and to say Solomon if to be to/for son: descendant/people strength: worthy not to fall: fall from hair his land: soil [to] and if distress: evil to find in/on/with him and to die
Και είπεν ο Σολομών, Εάν σταθή ανήρ αγαθός, ουδέ μία εκ των τριχών αυτού θέλει πέσει επί την γήν· εάν όμως ευρεθή κακία εν αυτώ θέλει θανατωθή.
53 and to send: depart [the] king Solomon and to go down him from upon [the] altar and to come (in): come and to bow to/for king Solomon and to say to/for him Solomon to go: went to/for house: home your
Και απέστειλεν ο βασιλεύς Σολομών, και κατεβίβασαν αυτόν από του θυσιαστηρίου· και ήλθε και προσεκύνησε τον βασιλέα Σολομώντα· και είπε προς αυτόν ο Σολομών, Ύπαγε εις τον οίκόν σου.
