Revelation 1
1 [The] revelation of Jesus Christ which gave to him God to show to the bond-servants of Him what things it behooves to take place with speed And He signified [it] having sent through the angel of Him to the servant of Him John,
Révélation de Jésus-Christ, que Dieu lui a donnée pour montrer à ses serviteurs les choses qui doivent arriver bientôt, et qu’il a fait connaître, par l’envoi de son ange, à son serviteur Jean,
2 who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ as much as (then *k) he saw.
lequel a attesté la parole de Dieu et le témoignage de Jésus-Christ, tout ce qu’il a vu.
3 blessed [is] the [one] reading and those hearing the words of the prophecy and keeping the [things] in it written; for the time [is] near.
Heureux celui qui lit et ceux qui entendent les paroles de la prophétie, et qui gardent les choses qui y sont écrites! Car le temps est proche.
4 John To the seven churches in Asia: Grace to you and peace from (Him *K+O) who is and who was and who is coming and from the seven Spirits who (is *k) before the throne of Him
Jean aux sept Églises qui sont en Asie: que la grâce et la paix vous soient données de la part de celui qui est, qui était, et qui vient, et de la part des sept esprits qui sont devant son trône,
5 and from Jesus Christ, the witness faithful, the firstborn (from *k) the dead and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To the [One] (loving *N+kO) us and (having released *N+KO) us (from *N+kO) the sins of us through the blood of Him —
et de la part de Jésus-Christ, le témoin fidèle, le premier-né des morts, et le prince des rois de la terre! A celui qui nous aime, qui nous a délivrés de nos péchés par son sang,
6 and He has made us (a kingdom, *N+KO) (and *K) priests to the God and Father of Him — to Him [be] the glory and the dominion to the ages of the ages, Amen. (aiōn g165)
et qui a fait de nous un royaume, des sacrificateurs pour Dieu son Père, à lui soient la gloire et la puissance, aux siècles des siècles! Amen! (aiōn g165)
7 Behold He is coming with the clouds, and will behold Him every eye and those who Him pierced; and will wail because of Him all the tribes of the earth, Yes Amen!
Voici, il vient avec les nuées. Et tout œil le verra, même ceux qui l’ont percé; et toutes les tribus de la terre se lamenteront à cause de lui. Oui. Amen!
8 I myself am the Alpha and the Omega (beginning and end *K) says (the *k) Lord (God, *NO) who is being and who was and who is coming, the Almighty.
Je suis l’alpha et l’oméga, dit le Seigneur Dieu, celui qui est, qui était, et qui vient, le Tout-Puissant.
9 I myself John, (also *k) brother of you and (fellow-partaker *NK+o) in the tribulation and (in *k) kingdom and in endurance (in *no) Jesus (Christ *K) was in the island which is being called Patmos on account of the word of God and (through *k) the testimony of Jesus (Christ. *K)
Moi Jean, votre frère, et qui ai part avec vous à la tribulation et au royaume et à la persévérance en Jésus, j’étais dans l’île appelée Patmos, à cause de la parole de Dieu et du témoignage de Jésus.
10 I was in [the] Spirit on the Lord’s day and I heard behind me a voice loud like that of a trumpet
Je fus ravi en esprit au jour du Seigneur, et j’entendis derrière moi une voix forte, comme le son d’une trompette,
11 saying (I myself *KO) (am the Alpha and the Omega the first and the last; and *K) What you see do write in a book and do send to the seven churches (in Asia: *K) to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.
qui disait: Ce que tu vois, écris-le dans un livre, et envoie-le aux sept Églises, à Éphèse, à Smyrne, à Pergame, à Thyatire, à Sardes, à Philadelphie, et à Laodicée.
12 And (there *O) I turned to see the voice that (was speaking *N+kO) with me. And having turned I saw seven lampstands golden
Je me retournai pour connaître quelle était la voix qui me parlait. Et, après m’être retourné, je vis sept chandeliers d’or,
13 and in [the] midst of the (seven *KO) lampstands [One] like ([the] Son *N+kO) of Man having clothed himself to the feet and having girded himself about at the breasts with a sash golden.
et, au milieu des sept chandeliers, quelqu’un qui ressemblait à un fils d’homme, vêtu d’une longue robe, et ayant une ceinture d’or sur la poitrine.
14 And the head of Him and the hairs [are] white (as if *N+kO) wool white as snow and the eyes of Him [are] like a flame of fire
Sa tête et ses cheveux étaient blancs comme de la laine blanche, comme de la neige; ses yeux étaient comme une flamme de feu;
15 and the feet of Him [are] like as fine bronze as in a furnace (refined *N+kO) and the voice of Him [is] like [the] voice of waters many
ses pieds étaient semblables à de l’airain ardent, comme s’il eût été embrasé dans une fournaise; et sa voix était comme le bruit de grandes eaux.
16 and He is holding in the right hand of Him stars seven and out of the mouth of Him a sword two-edged sharp is going forth and the face of Him [is] like the sun shining in the full strength of it.
Il avait dans sa main droite sept étoiles. De sa bouche sortait une épée aiguë, à deux tranchants; et son visage était comme le soleil lorsqu’il brille dans sa force.
17 And when I saw Him, I fell at the feet of Him as though dead, And (He placed *N+kO) the right of Him (hand *K) upon me myself saying (to me: *k) Not do fear. I myself am the First and the Last
Quand je le vis, je tombai à ses pieds comme mort. Il posa sur moi sa main droite, en disant: Ne crains point! Je suis le premier et le dernier,
19 do write (therefore *NO) [the things] that you have seen and [the things] that are and [the things] that are about (to be *N+kO) after these,
Écris donc les choses que tu as vues, et celles qui sont, et celles qui doivent arriver après elles,
20 the mystery of the seven stars (which *N+kO) you saw on the right hand of Me and the seven lampstands golden: The seven stars [the] angels of the seven churches are and the lampstands (that *N+kO) (you saw *K) seven [the] seven churches are.
le mystère des sept étoiles que tu as vues dans ma main droite, et des sept chandeliers d’or. Les sept étoiles sontles anges des sept Églises, et les sept chandeliers sont les sept Églises.
