< Revelation 8 >

1 And (when *N+kO) He opened the seal seventh, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
A i tana wahanga i te whitu o nga hiri, kahore he aha i rangona i te rangi me te mea kotahi te hawhe haora.
2 And I saw the seven angels who before God have stood and were given to them seven trumpets.
A ka kite ahau i nga anahera tokowhitu e tu ra i te aroaro o te Atua; a e whitu nga tetere i hoatu ki a ratou.
3 And another angel came and he stood at (the altar *N+kO) having a censer golden. and was given to him incense much that (he will give [it] *N+kO) with the prayers of the saints all upon the altar golden before the throne.
4 And went up the smoke of the incense with the prayers of the saints out of [the] hand of the angel before God.
5 And has taken the angel the censer and filled it from the fire of the altar and cast [it] to the earth. and there were thunders and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.
6 And the seven angels who are having the seven trumpets prepared (themselves *N+kO) that they may sound the trumpets.
7 And the first (angel *K) sounded [his] trumpet, and there was hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was cast upon the earth (And the third of the earth was burned up; *NO) and the third of the trees were burned up, and all [the] grass green was burned up.
8 And the second angel sounded [his] trumpet, and [something] like a mountain great with fire burning was cast into the sea; And became a third of the sea blood.
A ka whakatangi te rua o nga anahera, na, me te mea he maunga nui tera, e kaia ana e te ahi, kua maka ki te moana: a ka meinga te wahi tuatoru o te moana hei toto;
9 and died a third of the creatures in the sea who are having life, and a third of the ships (were destroyed. *N+kO)
A mate iho te wahi tuatoru o nga mea hanga i roto i te moana, o nga mea whai ora; ngaro iho hoki te wahi tuatoru o nga kaipuke.
10 And the third angel sounded [his] trumpet, and fell out of heaven a star great burning like a torch And it fell upon a third of the rivers and upon the springs of waters.
A ka whakatangi te toru o nga anahera, na, kua taka iho i te rangi he whetu nui e ka ana, ano he rama, a taka ana ki te wahi tuatoru o nga awa, ki nga puna hoki o nga wai;
11 And the name of the star is named Wormwood; And (became *N+kO) a third of the waters into wormwood, and many of the men died from the waters because they were made bitter.
A ko te ingoa o te whetu ko Taru kawa: a ka meinga te wahi tuatoru o nga wai hei taru kawa; a he tokomaha nga tangata i mate i nga wai, no te mea kua kawa.
12 And the fourth angel sounded [his] trumpet, and was struck a third of the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars so that may be darkened a third of them, and day not (may appear [for] *N+kO) a third of her and the night likewise.
13 And I looked and I heard one (eagle *N+KO) flying in mid-heaven saying in a voice loud; Woe Woe Woe (to those dwelling *N+kO) on the earth because of the remaining voices of the trumpet of the three angels who are being about to sound [their] trumpets!
