Revelation 21
1 And I saw a heaven new and an earth new. for the first heaven and the first earth (had passed away, *N+kO) and the sea not is any longer.
Und ich sah einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde; denn der erste Himmel und die erste Erde waren vergangen, und das Meer ist nicht mehr.
2 And (I myself John *K) the city holy Jerusalem new I saw coming down out of heaven from God prepared as a bride adorned for the husband of her.
Und ich sah die heilige Stadt, das neue Jerusalem, aus dem Himmel herniederkommen von Gott, bereitet wie eine für ihren Mann geschmückte Braut.
3 And I heard a voice great from the (throne *N+KO) saying: Behold the tabernacle of God [is] with men, and He will tabernacle with them. and they themselves (peoples *NK+o) of Him will be, and Himself God with them will be [as] their God.
Und ich hörte eine laute Stimme aus dem Himmel sagen: Siehe, die Hütte [O. das Zelt] Gottes bei den Menschen! Und er wird bei ihnen wohnen, [Eig. zelten] und sie werden sein Volk sein, und Gott selbst wird bei ihnen sein, ihr Gott.
4 And He will wipe away (the God *K) every tear (from *N+kO) the eyes of them, and death not will be any longer nor mourning nor crying nor pain not they will be any longer; because the former things have passed away.
Und er wird jede Träne von ihren Augen abwischen, und der Tod wird nicht mehr sein, noch Trauer, noch Geschrei, noch Schmerz wird mehr sein; denn das Erste ist vergangen.
5 And said the [One] sitting on (the throne; *N+kO) Behold new I make all things. And He says (to me: *KO) do write [this] because these the words faithful and true are.
Und der auf dem Throne saß sprach: Siehe, ich mache alles neu. Und er spricht zu mir: Schreibe, denn diese Worte sind gewiß [O. zuverlässig, treu] und wahrhaftig.
6 And He said to me; (It has been done! *N+kO) I myself (am *NK+o) the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. I myself to the [one] thirsting I will give of the spring of the water of life freely.
Und er sprach zu mir: Es ist geschehen. Ich bin das Alpha und das Omega, [S. die Anm. zu Kap. 1,8] der Anfang und das Ende. Ich will dem Dürstenden aus der Quelle des Wassers des Lebens geben umsonst.
7 The [one] overcoming he will inherit (these [things], *N+kO) and I will be to him God, and he himself will be My son.
Wer überwindet, wird dieses ererben, und ich werde ihm Gott sein, und er wird mir Sohn sein.
8 But to [the] cowardly and to [the] unbelieving (and to sinners *O) and having made themselves abominable and to murderers and to the sexually immoral and (to sorcerers *N+kO) and to idolaters and to all liars, the portion of them [is] in the lake which is burning with fire and with brimstone, which is the death second. 9 And came (to me *K) one of the seven angels who are having the seven bowls (which are being full *N+kO) of the seven plagues last and spoke with me saying; Come here, I will show you the bride the wife of the Lamb.
Und es kam einer von den sieben Engeln, welche die sieben Schalen hatten, voll der sieben letzten Plagen, und redete mit mir und sprach: Komm her, ich will dir die Braut, das Weib des Lammes [O. die Braut des Lammes, das Weib] zeigen.
10 And he carried away me in [the] Spirit to a mountain great and high and he showed me the city (great *K) holy Jerusalem descending out of heaven from God,
Und er führte mich im Geiste hinweg auf einen großen und hohen Berg und zeigte mir die heilige Stadt, Jerusalem, herniederkommend aus dem Himmel von Gott;
11 having the glory of God. (and *k) The radiance of it [was] like as a stone most precious like as a stone jasper being clear as crystal
und sie hatte die Herrlichkeit Gottes. Ihr Lichtglanz [O. ihre Leuchte] war gleich einem sehr kostbaren Edelstein, wie ein krystallheller Jaspisstein;
12 having (then *k) a wall great and high, (having *N+kO) gates twelve and at (the gates *NK+o) angels twelve, and names inscribed, which are the names of the twelve tribes (of the *k) of [the] sons of Israel;
und sie hatte eine große und hohe Mauer und hatte zwölf Tore, und an den Toren zwölf Engel, und Namen darauf geschrieben, welche die der zwölf Stämme der Söhne Israels sind.
13 On ([the] east *NK+o) [were] gates three, (and *no) on [the] north gates three, (and *no) on [the] south gates three, and on [the] west gates three.
Nach [Eig. von; so auch weiterhin in diesem Verse] Osten drei Tore, und nach Norden drei Tore, und nach Süden drei Tore, und nach Westen drei Tore.
14 And the wall of the city (had *N+kO) foundations twelve and (on them *N+kO) (twelve *no) names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
Und die Mauer der Stadt hatte zwölf Grundlagen, und auf denselben zwölf Namen der zwölf Apostel des Lammes.
15 And the [one] speaking with me he had (a measuring *NO) reed golden so that he may measure the city and the gates of it and the wall of it.
Und der mit mir redete hatte ein Maß, ein goldenes Rohr, auf daß er die Stadt messe und ihre Tore und ihre Mauern.
16 And the city foursquare lies, and the length of it (so great is *K) [the] same as also the width. And he measured the city with the reed at (stadia *NK+o) twelve thousand (twelve [was] *O) the length and the breadth and the height of it equal are.
Und die Stadt liegt viereckig, und ihre Länge ist so groß wie die Breite. Und er maß die Stadt mit dem Rohre-12000 Stadien; die Länge und die Breite und die Höhe derselben sind gleich.
17 And he measured the wall of it (one hundred forty four *NK+o) cubits, [the] measure of man that is of the angel.
Und er maß ihre Mauer, 144 Ellen, eines Menschen Maß, das ist des Engels. [O. Menschen-d. i. Engels-Maß]
18 And (was *ko) the structure of the wall of it [was] jasper, and the city gold pure (like *N+kO) as glass clear.
Und der Bau ihrer Mauer war Jaspis, und die Stadt reines Gold, gleich reinem Glase.
19 (and *ko) the foundations of the wall of the city with every stone precious adorned. the foundation first jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald,
Die Grundlagen der Mauer der Stadt waren geschmückt mit jedem Edelstein: die erste Grundlage, Jaspis; die zweite Saphir; die dritte Chalcedon; die vierte, Smaragd;
20 the fifth sardonyx, the sixth (sardius, *N+kO) the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.
die fünfte, Sardonix; die sechste, Sardis; die siebte, Chrysolith; die achte, Beryll; die neunte, Topas; die zehnte, Chrysopras; die elfte, Hyacinth; die zwölfte, Amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates [were] twelve pearls. each one each of the gates was of one pearl. and the street of the city gold pure as glass (translucent. *N+kO)
Und die zwölf Tore waren zwölf Perlen, je eines [W. je ein jedes einzelne] der Tore war aus einer Perle, und die Straße der Stadt reines Gold, wie durchsichtiges Glas.
22 And temple not I saw in it; for the Lord God Almighty temple of it is and the Lamb.
Und ich sah keinen Tempel in ihr, denn der Herr, Gott, der Allmächtige, ist ihr Tempel, und das Lamm.
23 And the city no need has of the sun nor of the moon that they may shine (in *k) in it; the for glory of God enlightened it, and the lamp of it [is] the Lamb.
Und die Stadt bedarf nicht der Sonne, noch des Mondes, auf daß sie ihr scheinen; denn die Herrlichkeit Gottes hat sie erleuchtet, und ihre Lampe ist das Lamm.
24 And will walk the nations (those being saved *K) (through the light *N+kO) of it and the kings of the earth bring (the *NK+O) glory (and the honor *K) (of them *NK+O) into it.
Und die Nationen werden durch ihr Licht [d. h. vermöge, vermittelst ihres Lichtes] wandeln, und die Könige der Erde bringen ihre Herrlichkeit zu ihr.
25 And the gates of it certainly not may be shut by day; night for not will be there.
Und ihre Tore sollen bei Tage nicht geschlossen werden, denn Nacht wird daselbst nicht sein.
26 And they will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.
Und man wird die Herrlichkeit und die Ehre der Nationen zu ihr bringen.
27 And certainly not may enter into it anything (unsanctified *N+kO) and (the [one] *no) (practicing *N+kO) abomination and a lie only except those written in the book of life of the Lamb.
Und nicht wird in sie eingehen irgend etwas Gemeines und was Greuel und Lüge tut, sondern nur die geschrieben sind in dem Buche des Lebens des Lammes.
