Pieśń stopni. Bardzo mnie uciskali od mojej młodości, niech powie teraz Izrael;

Bardzo mnie uciskali od mojej młodości, lecz mnie nie przemogli.

3 On back my they have plowed plowmen they have made long (furrows their. *QK)

Zorali mój grzbiet oracze i długie bruzdy porobili.

4 Yahweh [is] righteous he has cut off [the] rope of wicked [people].

[Ale] PAN jest sprawiedliwy; poprzecinał powrozy niegodziwych.

5 May they be ashamed and they may be turned back backward all [those who] hate Zion.

Niech się zawstydzą i cofną wszyscy, którzy nienawidzą Syjonu.

6 May they be like [the] grass of roofs that before it has shot up it has withered.

Będą jak trawa na dachu, która usycha, zanim zakwitnie;

7 That not he has filled hand his a reaper and bosom his [one who] binds sheaves.

Którą żniwiarz nie napełni swej garści ani swego naręcza ten, który wiąże snopy.

8 And not they say - those [who] pass by [the] blessing of Yahweh [be] to you we bless you in [the] name of Yahweh.

I nie powiedzą przechodnie: Niech będzie z wami błogosławieństwo PANA [albo]: Błogosławimy wam w imię PANA.
