< Matthew 19 >

1 And it came to pass when finished Jesus words these, He withdrew from Galilee and came to the region of Judea beyond the Jordan.
Yesu wiee nʼasɛnka no, ɔkɔɔ Galilea. Ofi Galilea no, otwaa Asubɔnten Yordan baa Yudea.
2 And followed Him crowds great, and He healed them there.
Nnipadɔm tu dii nʼakyi, ma ɔsaa wɔn yare.
3 And came to Him Pharisees testing Him and saying (to him: *k) If is it lawful for a man to divorce the a wife of him for every cause?
Farisifo bi ba bebisaa no nsɛm bi pɛɛ sɛ wɔnam wɔn nsɛmmisa no so ma ɔka asɛm bi a ɛde no bɛkɔ sɔhwɛ mu. Wobisaa no se, “Wopene awaregyae so ana?”
4 Which now answering He said (to them: *k) Surely you have read that the [One] (created *N+KO) from [the] beginning male and female made them?
Yesu nso bisaa wɔn se, “Gyama monkenkan Kyerɛw Kronkron no? Wɔakyerɛw wɔ mu se, ‘Mfiase no, Onyankopɔn bɔɔ ɔbarima ne ɔbea.
5 and said; On account of this will leave a man the father and the mother and (will be joined with *N+kO) the wife of him, and will become the two into flesh one’
Eyi nti na ɔbarima begyaw nʼagya ne ne na hɔ de ne ho akɔbɔ ne yere ho daa nyinaa no.’
6 so that no longer no longer are they two but flesh one. What therefore God united together, man not should separate.
Enti na wɔnyɛ baanu bio, na mmom wɔabɛyɛ ɔhonam koro. Enti nea Onyankopɔn aka abɔ mu no, ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara tetew mu.”
7 They say to Him; Why then Moses did command to give a roll of divorce and to send away her?
Farisifo no kɔɔ so bisaa no se, “Adɛn nti na Mose kae se, sɛ ɔbarima bi pɛ sɛ ogyaa ne yere a otumi kyerɛw no krataa kɛkɛ, de gyaa no?”
8 He says to them that Moses in view of the hardness of heart of you allowed you to divorce the wives of you; from [the] beginning however not was [it] this way.
9 I say now to you: that who[ever] maybe may divorce the wife of him (only *k) except for sexual immorality and shall marry another, commits adultery. (and which divorced having married commits adultery. *KO)
Na mereka akyerɛ mo se, obiara a obegyaa ne yere, a ɛnyɛ sɛ ɔbea no abɔ aguaman, na ɔbɛsan aware ɔbea foforo no asɛe aware.”
10 Say to Him the disciples of Him: If this is the case of the man with the wife, not it is better to marry.
Yesu asuafo no kae se, “Sɛ saa na ɛte de a, na ɛnsɛ sɛ obiara ware.”
11 And He said to them; Not all receive word this but only [those] to whom it has been given.
Yesu buaa wɔn se, “Ɛnyɛ obiara na obetumi agye asɛm yi ato mu, gye wɔn a Onyankopɔn hyɛ wɔn den no nko ara.
12 There are for eunuchs who from [the] womb of [their] mother were born thus, and there are eunuchs who were made eunuchs by men, and there are eunuchs who made eunuchs of themselves for the sake of the kingdom of the heavens. The [one] being able to receive [it] he should receive [it].
Nnipa bi wɔ hɔ a wonni mmarimayɛ mu ahoɔden fi awo mu, ebinom nso wɔ hɔ a nnipa na wɔyɛɛ wɔn saa; ebinom nso ɔsoro Ahenni no nti, wɔpo aware. Obiara a obetumi no, nni mʼasɛm a maka yi so.”
13 Then (were brought *N+kO) to Him little children that the hands He may lay on them and He may pray; however the disciples rebuked them.
Wɔde mmofra nkumaa brɛɛ Yesu sɛ ɔmfa ne nsa ngu wɔn so, na ɔmmɔ mpae mma wɔn. Nanso asuafo no kaa wɔn anim.
14 And Jesus said; do permit the little children and not do forbid them to come to Me; of the for of such kind is the kingdom of the heavens.
Yesu kae se, “Momma mmofra no kwan na wɔmmra me nkyɛn, na munnsiw wɔn kwan, na eyinom sɛɛ na Ɔsoro Ahenni no yɛ wɔn dea.”
15 And having laid the hands upon them He departed from there.
Na ɔde ne nsa guu wɔn so, hyiraa wɔn ansa na ɔrefi hɔ akɔ.
16 And behold one having come to Him said: Teacher (good *K) what good [thing] shall I do that (I may have *N+kO) life eternal?
17 And He said to him; Why Me (you ask *N+kO) (about what is *no) (good? *N+kO) (One *N+KO) (is *no) good (only except one God. *K) If however you desire into life to enter, (do keep *NK+o) the commandments.
Yesu buaa no se, “Adɛn nti na wubisa me nea ɛyɛ papa ho asɛm? Ɔbaako pɛ na ɔyɛ papa. Sɛ wopɛ sɛ wokɔ nkwa mu de a, di mmara nsɛm no so.”
18 He says to him; Which [commandments]? And Jesus (was speaking; *NK+o) Not will you murder, not will you commit adultery, not will you steal, not will you bear false witness,
Aberante no nso bisaa no se, “Mmaransɛm no mu nea ɛwɔ he?” Yesu buaa no se, “Nni awu. Nsɛe aware. Mmɔ korɔn. Nni atoro.
19 do honor the father (of you *k) and the mother, and you will love the neighbour of you as yourself.’
Di wʼagya ne wo na ni, na dɔ wo yɔnko sɛ wo ho!”
20 Says to him the young man; All these (I have kept *N+kO) (from youth of me *K) What yet do I lack?
Aberante no nso kae se, “Midi eyinom nyinaa so pɛpɛɛpɛ. Afei menyɛ dɛn?”
21 Was saying to him Jesus; If you desire perfect to be, do go do sell of you possessions and do give (to the *no) poor; and you will have treasure in ([the] heavens, *N+kO) and come do follow Me.
Yesu ka kyerɛɛ no se, “Sɛ wopɛ sɛ woyɛ pɛ a kɔ na kɔtɔn biribiara a wowɔ, na fa sika a wubenya afi mu no ma ahiafo. Ɛno ansa na wubenya ademude wɔ ɔsoro. Afei bedi mʼakyi.”
22 Having heard now the young man (this *ko) statement he went away grieving; he was [one] for having possessions many.
Esiane sɛ na saa aberante yi wɔ ahonyade bebree nti, ɔtee saa nsɛm no, anyɛ no dɛ maa ɔde awerɛhow fii hɔ kɔe.
23 And Jesus said to the disciples of Him; Amen I say to you that a rich man with difficulty will enter into the kingdom of the heavens.
Afei Yesu ka kyerɛɛ nʼasuafo no se, “Meka mo nokware se ɛyɛ den ma osikani sɛ ɔbɛkɔ Ɔsoro Ahenni no mu.
24 Again now I say to you; easier for [it] is a camel through [the] (an eye *NK+o) of a needle (to go through *NK+o) than a rich man to enter into the kingdom (of God. *NK+O)
Meka ti mu se, ɛyɛ mmerɛw sɛ yoma bewura pane aniwa mu sen sɛ osikani bɛkɔ Onyankopɔn Ahenni mu!”
25 Having heard now the disciples (of him *k) were astonished exceedingly saying; Who then is able to be saved?
Asuafo no tee saa asɛm no, wɔn adwene mu yɛɛ wɔn naa.
26 Having looked on [them] now Jesus said to them; With men this impossible is, with however God all things [are] possible (is. *k)
27 Then answering Peter said to Him; Behold we ourselves left all things and we followed You; what then will be to us?
Petro nso kae se, “Yagyaw biribiara hɔ abedi wʼakyi; na mfaso bɛn na yebenya afi wʼakyidi no mu?”
28 And Jesus said to them; Amen I say to you that you yourselves who having followed Me in the regeneration, when may sit down the Son of Man upon [the] throne of glory of Him, (will sit *N+kO) also (you yourselves *NK+O) on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Yesu buae se, “Me, Agyenkwa no, sɛ metena mʼanuonyam ahengua no so a, nokware, mo mʼasuafo yi nso bɛtena ahengua dumien no so na moabu Israel mmusuakuw dumien no atɛn.
29 And everyone (who *N+kO) has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or (wife or *KO) children or lands for the sake of name (of Me *NK+o) (a hundredfold *NK+O) will receive and life eternal will inherit.
30 Many however will be first last, and last first.
Na wɔn a wɔadi kan no mu pii bedi akyi, na wɔn a wodi akyi no nso mu bi abedi kan.”
