< Luke 19 >

1 And having entered He was passing through Jericho.

2 And behold a man by name being called Zacchaeus and he himself was a chief tax collector and (he himself *N+kO) (was *k) rich;

3 And he was seeking to see Jesus who He is and not he was able because of the crowd, because in stature small he was.

4 And having run (to the *no) front he went up into a sycamore-fig tree so that he may see Him, for (through *k) that [way] He was soon to pass.

5 And as He came to the place, having looked up Jesus (he saw him and *K) said to him; Zacchaeus, having hurried do come down; today for in the house of you it behooves Me to stay.
Jesuh naw, acun a pha law üng, han teng lü, a veia, “Zake, angxita kyum law; tuhngawi na ima ka kai khaia kya ve,” a ti.
6 And having hurried he came down and received Him rejoicing.

7 And having seen [it] (all *N+kO) were grumbling saying that With a sinful man He has entered to stay.

8 Having stood then Zacchaeus said to the Lord; Behold the half my possessions Lord, to the poor I give; and if of anyone anything I have defrauded, I restore [it] fourfold.

9 Said then to him Jesus that Today salvation to the house this has come, because also he himself a son of Abraham is;

10 Came for the Son of Man to seek and to save that having been lost.
“Khyanga Capa hin khyüki he jah sui lü, jah küikyan khaia lawki ni,” a ti.
11 When are hearing now they these things having proceeded He spoke a parable because near being to Jerusalem He and thinking they that immediately is about the kingdom of God to appear.

12 He said therefore; A man certain of noble birth proceeded to a country distant to receive for himself a kingdom and to return.
“Khyang kdaw mat, sangpuxanga kyanak ana va yah lü law be khaia athuknaka khawa citki.
13 Having called then ten servants his own he gave to them ten minas and said to them; (Do trade *NK+o) (in that *NO) (until *k) I come back.
“Am a ceh hlan üng a m'ya he xa jah khü lü xüi nguikcang xa jah peki naw, Am ka pha law be ham üng hin am a na bilo u lü, a na pungsak ua,’ a ti.
14 But the citizens of him were hating him and sent a delegation after him saying; Not we are willing [for] this [man] to reign over us.
“Acunüng, khaw khyang avang he naw, am ngja hlü u lü, ‘Hina jah uk vai am ngjahlü ve ung’ ti khaia, ngsä a hnua ami tüih.
15 And it came to pass on the returning of him having received the kingdom that he directed to be called to him servants these to whom (he had given *N+kO) the money, in order that he may know (who *k) what (they had gained by trading. *N+kO)
“Acunüng, sangpuxang yah lü a law be üng, a m'ya he xüi tangka a jah pet cun, ami pung sak a ksingnak vaia a jah khü sak.
16 Came up then the first saying; lord, the mina of you ten (has produced *N+kO) more minas.

17 And He said to him; (well done *N+kO) good servant! Because in very little faithful you were, do be having authority you are over ten cities.
“Acunüng ani naw, ‘m'ya kdaw aw, pawh thei veki; ajawca khana kcangnak vaia na awmkia kyase mlüh xaa bawia ning mcawn veng,’ a ti.
18 And came the second saying; The mina of you, lord, has made five minas.
“Acunüng, anghngihnak pi law lü, ‘Saja aw, na xüi tangka mhmaa pungsak veng,’ a ti.
19 He said then also to this one; And you yourself over do be five cities.
“Acunüng ani naw, ‘Nang pi mlüh mhmaa bawia ning mcawn veng,’ a ti.
20 And another came saying; lord, behold the mina of you which I was keeping lying in a piece of cloth;
“Akce be tü law lü, ‘Saja aw, na xüi tangka kpyawn am hlawp lü ka khäm,
21 I was afraid for of you, because a man harsh you are; You take up what not you did lay down and you reap what not you did sow.
khyang kyunga na kyakia kyase ka ning kyüheiki; am na tak pi lo lü, am na saw pi na at khawikia kyase’ a ti.
22 He says (now *k) to him; Out of the mouth of you I will judge you, evil servant. You knew that I myself a man harsh am taking up what not I did lay down and reaping what not I did sow;
“Acunüng ani naw, ‘M'ya kse, na pyena kba ka ning mkhyah pe khai. Khyang kyunga kya lü am ka tak pi lo lü am ka saw pi ka at khawiki ti na ksing üng,
23 Then because of why not did you give my money to (the *k) bank, and I myself and I myself having come with interest maybe it collected
ise ka tangka, ngui taknak im üng pung khaia am na tak ni? Ka law be üng apung maha ka yah be vai sü,’ a ti.
24 And to those having stood by he said; do take from him the mina and do give [it] to the [one] the ten minas having.
“Acunüng, a peia ngdüiki he üng, ‘A xüi tangka yut be u lü xüi tangka xa taki üng pe u,’ a ti.
25 And they said to him; Master, he has ten minas.
Acunüng awmki he naw, ‘Saja aw, hin naw xüi tangka xa ta ye se’ ami ti.
26 I say (for *ko) to you that to everyone who is having will be given, from however the [one] not having even that which he has will be taken away (from of him. *ko)
‘Ka ning jah mthehki, taki he üng a taka khana mkhah si u lü am taki he cun ami takca küt pi jah yuh be vai.
27 Furthermore the enemies of mine (these *N+kO) those not having been willing [for] me to reign over them do bring here and do slay them before me.
“Cunsepi, na hnengkie, ami sangpuxang vaia am na ngjahlüki he jah lawpüi u lü ka ma jah hnim law ua’ a ti,” a ti.
28 And having said these things He was going on ahead going up to Jerusalem.

29 And it came to pass as He drew near to Bethphage and Bethany toward the mount which is being called Olivet He sent two of the disciples (of him *ko)

30 (speaking; *N+kO) do go into the ahead village, in which entering you will find a colt tied on which no [one] ever yet of men has sat; (and *no) having untied it do bring [it].

31 And if anyone you shall ask; Because of why do you untie [it]? thus will you say (to him: *k) Because the Lord of it need has.’
“Acunüng, ‘Ivai nani sutki ni?’ tia, ami ning jah kthäh üng, ‘Bawipanaw, hlüei ve’ nani ti vai,” a ti.
32 Having departed then those sent found [it] even as He had said to them.
A tüih xawi cit ni lü a jah mtheha kba ani va hmuh.
33 When are untying then they the colt said the masters of it to them; Why untie you the colt?
Sanghngaksaü, ani suh k’um üng kamahe naw hmu u lü, “sanghngaksaüca cen ivai nani sutki ni?” ami ti.
34 And they said: (that *no) The Lord of it need has.
“Bawipa naw, hlüei ve” ani ti.
35 And they led it to Jesus, and having cast (their *N+kO) garments on the colt they put on [it] Jesus.
Jesuha veia kaih law ni se sanghngaksaüa khana ami jih he jah phah u lü Jesuh ami ngawhsak.
36 When is going then He they were spreading the garments (of them *NK+o) on the road.
A cehnak lam üng ami suisak he ami jah phah.
37 When is drawing near then he already at the descent of the Mount of Olives began all the multitude of the disciples rejoicing to praise God in a voice loud for (all *NK+o) which they had seen [the] mighty works

38 saying: Blessed [is] the coming King in [the] name of [the] Lord; In heaven peace, and glory in [the] highest.

39 And some of the Pharisees from the crowd said to Him; Teacher, do rebuke the disciples of You.
Acunüng, khyanga ksunga Pharise avang he naw, “Saja aw, na xüisaw he am khihkheh khai hea jah mtheha,” ami ti.
40 And answering He said (to them: *ko) I say to you (that *ko) if these (will be silent, *N+kO) the stones (will cry out. *N+kO)
Acunüng Jesuh naw, “Ka ning jah mthehki, hin he ami ngdüm üng lunge ngpyang law khai he,” ti lü a jah msang.
41 And as He drew near, having seen the city He wept over (it *N+kO)
Acunüng, Jerusalem a pha law hlü üng Jerusalem hmu lü,
42 saying that If you had known (and indeed *k) in the day (of you *k) this even you yourself the [things] for peace (of you; *ko) Now however they are hidden from eyes of you.
“Tuhngawi üng dim’yenaka phäh hlüki hin na ksinga ta daw khai sü! Cunsepi atuh am hmu thei veki,” ti lü kyapki.
43 For will come days upon you that (will cast around *N+kO) the enemies of you a barricade you and they will surround you and they will hem in you on every side
“Na ye he naw ning kcung u lü, ning kham u lü, ning küp u lü, ami ning kcungnaka kcün pha law khai.
44 and will level to the ground you and the children of you within you and not will leave a stone upon (a stone *N+kO) within you, because which not you knew the season of visitation of you.
“Ning küikyan khaia Mhnama kcün am na ksingeia phäha na khyang he mah maha ning kpyeh u lü, lung matca hman pi na khana ä ngtaih khaia pawhnaka kcün pha law khai,” a ti.
45 And having entered into the temple He began to cast out those selling (in to it *k) (and buying *K)
Acunüng, Jesuh Temple k’uma va lutki naw, iyaw jah jawituki he jah ktäm lü,
46 saying to them; It has been written: (And *no) (will be *N+kO) the house of Mine a house of prayer’; You yourselves however it made a den of robbers.’
“Ka im ktaiyünaka ima kya khai tia ng’yuki, nangmi naw m'yukei hea ima pawh ve uki,” a ti.
47 And He was teaching every day in the temple; the however chief priests and the scribes were seeking Him to destroy and the foremost of the people,
Jesuh naw amhmüp tä se Temple k’uma jah mtheiki. Acunüng, ktaiyü ngvai he, thum ksing he la, ngnam üngka ngvai he naw ami mkhyüh vaia ami bü.
48 And not they were finding what they may do; the people for all were hanging on His [words] listening.
