< Luke 18 >

1 He was speaking then (and *ko) a parable to them about it needing always to pray (they *no) and not to lose heart
A PIL kotin masani ong irail karaseras eu, me ren poden kapakap o der pangada.
2 saying; A judge certain there was in a certain city God not fearing and man not respecting.
A kotin masani: Saunkapung amen mi nan kanim eu, me sota lan Kot, o sota insenoki aramas amen.
3 A widow then there was in the city that and she was coming to him saying; do avenge me of the adversary of mine.
A li odi men mi nan kanim ota, me poto dong i potoan ong: Kom kotin sauasa ia ong me kailong kin ia!
4 And not (he was desiring [to do] *N+kO) for a time. afterward however he said within himself; If even God not I fear (nor *N+kO) man respect,
A a kang mas o, a kadekadeo a mongemongeloleki: Nan i sota lan Kot, o pil sota insenoki aramas,
5 because yet it occasioning me trouble widow this I will avenge her, so that not to end coming she may exhaust me.
A pweki li odi men et a kadiropa ia, i pan sauasa i, pwen der purodo kadiropa ia.
6 Said then the Lord; do hear what the judge unrighteous says;
Kaun o ap kotin masani: Komail rong, me saunkapung sapung indada!
7 And God certainly not (may do *N+kO) the avenging of the elect of Him the [ones] crying out (to *k) (to Him *N+kO) day and night, and (be patient *N+kO) in regard to them?
A iaduen Kot, a sota pan kotin sauasa sapwilim a pilipildar akan, me kin likelikwir ong i ni ran o ni pong? Pala a pan kotin pwapwand?
8 I say to you that He will carry out the avenging of them with speed. Nevertheless the Son of Man having come surely not will He find faith on the earth?
I indai ong komail: Nan a pan madang sauasa ir. Ari so, Nain aramas lao pwarado, da, a pan diar poson ni sappa?
9 He spoke now also to some having trusted in themselves that they are righteous and (despising *NK+o) the others parable this.
A pil kotin karasai ong irail me kin akapungki pein irail, ap akasapungki me tei kan:
10 Men two went up into the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
Aramas riamen kodala ong nan im en kaudok pwen kapakap. Amen ira Parisär, a amen saunopwei men.
11 The Pharisee having stood toward himself these things was praying; O God, I thank You that not I am (like *NK+o) the rest of the men — swindlers, unrighteous, adulterers — or even like this tax collector.
Parisär o kasinenda kelepela ekis wasa kapakap due met: Maing Kot, i danke ir, me i sota dueta aramas tei kan: Lolap, sapung, kamal, de dueta saunopwei men et.
12 I fast twice in the week, I tithe all things as much as I gain.
I kin kaikaisole pan riapak ni wik eu o koleireki eisokkis eu en ai kapwa karos.
13 (and *ko) (but *no) the tax collector afar off having stood not was willing not even the eyes to lift up to heaven but was striking (into *k) the breast (of him *NK+o) saying: O God, do be merciful to me to the sinner!
A saunopwei u doo sang ekis wasa, ap sota men sarada nanlang, a a pikir maramar a indada: Maing Kot, re kotin kupura ia me dipan!
14 I say to you; went down this one justified to the house of him (rather than *k) (compared with *n+o) (that [one]. *N+kO) For everyone who is exalting himself will be humbled, the [one] however humbling himself will be exalted.
I indai ong komail, ol men et kodila deu a pungala mon me teio. Pwe me kin kasapwilada pein i, pan kasapwilidi, a me kin kasapwilidi pein i pan kasapwilada,
15 They were bringing then to Him also the infants that them He may touch; having seen however the disciples (were rebuking *N+kO) them.
Irail ap wa dong i kisin seri kai, pwen kotin sair ir. A sapwilim a tounpadak kan lao kilanger, re ap kapoui irail.
16 But Jesus (called *N+kO) them (speaking; *N+kO) do permit the little children to come to Me and not do forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
A Iesus kotin molipe ir masani: Mueid ong kisin seri kan, en kodo re i! Der kalik irail edi! Pwe irail me udan wein Kot.
17 Amen I say to you; who[ever] (maybe *N+kO) not shall receive the kingdom of God as a child, certainly not shall enter into it.
Melel I indai ong komail, meamen, me sota ale wein Kot rasong kisin seri men, a sota pan pedelong ong lole.
18 And asked a certain Him ruler saying; Teacher good, what having done life eternal will I inherit? (aiōnios g166)
A monsap amen idok re a masani: Saunpadak mau, da me i en wiada, pwen sosoki maur soutuk? (aiōnios g166)
19 Said then to him Jesus; Why Me you call good? No [one is] good only except one God.
Iesus ari kotin masani ong i: Da me koe indaki, me I me mau? Sota me mau men, Kot eta.
20 The commandments You know: Not shall you commit adultery, not shall you murder, not shall you steal, not shall you bear false witness, do honor the father of you and the mother (of you. *k)
Koe kin asa kusoned akan: Koe der kamal; koe der kamela aramas; koe der pirap, koe der kinekine mal, kakaki sam om o in om!
21 And he said; These all (I kept *N+kO) from [the] youth (of mine. *ko)
I ari indada: Nan mepukat karos i kin wiawia sang ni ai tikitik kokodo.
22 Having heard then (these things *k) Jesus said to him; Yet one thing to you is lacking: All as much as you have do sell and do distribute to [the] poor, and you will have treasure in (the *no) (heavens; *N+kO) and come, do follow Me.
Iesus lao mangi mepukat, ap masani ong i: Me ta kis me lua, netikila om kapwa karos, o nene ong me samama kan, a om pai pan mi nanlang, ap kodo idauen ia do.
23 And having heard these things very sorrowful (he became; *N+kO) he was for rich extremely.

A Iesus lao kotin masani, me a insensuedela, ap masani: Nan me apwal ong me kapwapwa kan, en pedelong ong nan wein Kot.
25 Easier for it is a camel through (an eye of a needle *N+kO) to go than a rich man into the kingdom of God to enter.
Pwe me mangai, kamel en tilong nan por en dikok, sang ol kapwapwa men pedelong ong nan wein Kot.
26 Said then those having heard; Then who is able to be saved?
Irail me rongerong indada: Ari, is me kak ong maur?
27 But He said; The [things] impossible with men possible with God are.
A kotin masani: Me aramas akan so kak ong, Kot me pan kak ong.
28 Said then Peter; Behold we ourselves (having abandoned *N+kO) ([our] own [things] *N+kO) (and *k) followed You.
Petrus ap potoan ong: Re kotin mangi, kit me likid maliela meakaros ap idauen la ir.
29 And He said to them; Amen I say to you that no [one] there is who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God,
A kotin masani ong irail: Melel I indai ong komail, nan sota me likidmaliela im a, de sam, de in a, de ri a ol akan, de a paud, de na seri kan pweki wein Kot,

Me so pan id aneki me lapalap ni ansau wet o ni muei kokodo maur soutuk. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
31 Having taken aside then the Twelve He said to them; Behold we go up to (Jerusalem, *N+kO) and will be accomplished all things which written through the prophets about the Son of Man;
A kotin ukala ekriamen ko masani ong irail: Kilang, kitail kin kodalang Ierusalem, o karos pan pwaida, me intingidier ren saukop akan duen Nain aramas.
32 He will be betrayed for to the Gentiles and will be mocked and will be insulted and will be spit upon,
Pwe a pan pangala ren men liki kan, pwe re pan kapikapiti i o ki sang wau i, o kondipi ong i.
33 And having flogged [Him] they will kill Him, and on the day third He will rise again.
O re pan woki i o kamela, a ni kasilu en ran a pan maureda.
34 And they themselves no [thing] of these things understood, and was declaration this hidden from them, and neither they were knowing the [things] being spoken.
Irail ari sota man weweki mepukat, O masan pot et me rir sang irail. Re pil sasa, me a kotin masani.
35 It came to pass then in the drawing near by Him to Jericho a blind [man] certain was sitting beside the road (begging. *N+kO)
A kadekadeo ni a koren iong Ieriko, ol maskun amen momod pon kailan al, poekipoeki.
36 Having heard now a crowd passing along he was asking what (maybe *o) would be this.

37 They told then to him that Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.
Irail ari indang i, me Iesus men Nasaret kotin daulul.
38 And he called out saying; Jesus Son of David, do have mercy on me.
I ari ngil laudeda potoan ong: Iesus, sapwilim en Dawid, kotin kupura ia!
39 And those going before were rebuking him that (he may be silent. *N+kO) He himself however much more was crying out; Son of David, do have mercy on me.
A me tiong moa kidekidaue i, en nenenla: A i ap kalaudela a poekipoeki: Sapwilim en Dawid, kotin kupura ia!
40 Having stopped then Jesus commanded him to be brought to Him. When was approaching then he He asked him;
Iesus ap kotin udi ong wasa o, masani, ol o en wisike dong i. A lao koren iong imp a, ap kotin kainoma re a.
41 (saying *ko) What to you desire you I may do? And he said; Lord, that I may receive sight.
Masani: Da me koe men, I en wiai ong uk? A potoan ong: Maing, i men potoan ngarada wasa.
42 And Jesus said to him; do receive sight: The faith of you has healed you.
A Iesus kotin masani ong i: Kilang wasa, om poson me kakel uk ada!
43 And immediately he received sight and was following Him glorifying God. And all the people having seen [it] gave praise to God.
Ap pitipit kilangada wasa, o idauenla i, o kapinga Kot, o aramas karos, me udial met, ap kapikapinga Kot.
