< Luke 18 >

1 He was speaking then (and *ko) a parable to them about it needing always to pray (they *no) and not to lose heart
ⲁ̅ⲛⲁϥϫⲱ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϫⲓⲛⲧⲟⲩⲉⲣ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⳿ⲛⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲧⲟⲩ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙⲉⲣⲉⲛⲕⲁⲕⲓⲛ.
2 saying; A judge certain there was in a certain city God not fearing and man not respecting.
ⲃ̅ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲣⲉϥϯϩⲁⲡ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲟⲩⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϥⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲁⲛ ϧⲁ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⳿ⲙⲫϯ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϥϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲁ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ.
3 A widow then there was in the city that and she was coming to him saying; do avenge me of the adversary of mine.
ⲅ̅ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲭⲏⲣⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ϯ ⲃⲁⲕⲓ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁ⳿ⲙϣⲓϣ ⲉⲙ ⲏ ⲉⲧϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲓ ⳿ⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ.
4 And not (he was desiring [to do] *N+kO) for a time. afterward however he said within himself; If even God not I fear (nor *N+kO) man respect,
ⲇ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ϣⲁ ⲟⲩⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲙⲉⲛⲉⲛⲥⲁ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ϫⲉ ⲭⲁⲥ ϫⲉ ⲫϯ ϯⲉⲣϩⲟϯ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲧⲉϥϩⲏ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛϯϣⲓⲡⲓ ⲁⲛ ϧⲁ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ.
5 because yet it occasioning me trouble widow this I will avenge her, so that not to end coming she may exhaust me.
ⲉ̅ⲉⲑⲃⲉϫⲉ ⲧⲁⲓⲭⲏⲣⲁ ϯ ϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ ϯⲛⲁϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲥ⳿ⲙϣⲓϣ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲥ⳿ϣⲧⲉⲙ⳿ⲓ ϣⲁ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉⲥϯ ϧⲓⲥⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ.
6 Said then the Lord; do hear what the judge unrighteous says;
ⲋ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ Ⲡ⳪ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϯϩⲁⲡ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ϯ⳿ⲁⲇⲓⲕⲓ⳿ⲁ ϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ.
7 And God certainly not (may do *N+kO) the avenging of the elect of Him the [ones] crying out (to *k) (to Him *N+kO) day and night, and (be patient *N+kO) in regard to them?
ⲍ̅ⲫϯ ⲇⲉ ⳿ϥⲛⲁϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉ⳿ⲙϣⲓϣ ⲛ ⲛⲛⲉϥⲥⲱⲧⲡ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲉⲧⲱϣ ⲟⲩⲃⲏϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲣϩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ϥⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲛϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ.
8 I say to you that He will carry out the avenging of them with speed. Nevertheless the Son of Man having come surely not will He find faith on the earth?
ⲏ̅ⲥⲉ ϯϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⳿ϥⲛⲁϭⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲟⲩ⳿ⲙϣⲓϣ ⳿ⲛⲭⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⳿ⲡⲗⲏⲛ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲁϥϣⲁⲛ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲁ ⳿ϥⲛⲁϫⲉⲙ ⳿ⲫⲛⲁϩϯ ϩⲓϫⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲕⲁϩⲓ.
9 He spoke now also to some having trusted in themselves that they are righteous and (despising *NK+o) the others parable this.
ⲑ̅ⲁϥϫⲟⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲏ ⲧϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲑⲙⲏⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲩϣⲟϣϥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲕⲉⲥⲱϫⲡ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲡⲁⲣⲁⲃⲟⲗⲏ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ.
10 Men two went up into the temple to pray, the one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.
ⲓ̅ⲁ ⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲃ̅ ϣⲉ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲉⲣⲫⲉⲓ ⳿ⲉⲉⲣ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⲡⲓⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲉⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲓⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲏⲥ ⲡⲉ.
11 The Pharisee having stood toward himself these things was praying; O God, I thank You that not I am (like *NK+o) the rest of the men — swindlers, unrighteous, adulterers — or even like this tax collector.
ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ⲡⲓⲫⲁⲣⲓⲥⲉⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲁϥⲉⲣ⳿ⲡⲣⲟⲥⲉⲩⲭⲉⲥⲑⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛ⳿ϧⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛϧⲏⲧϥ ϫⲉ ⲫϯ ϯϣⲉⲡ⳿ϩⲙⲟⲧ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲧⲕ ϫⲉ ϯⲟⲓ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲡⲥⲱϫⲡ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⳿ⲛⲣⲉϥϩⲱⲗⲉⲙ ⳿ⲛⲣⲉϥϭⲓ⳿ⲛϫⲟⲛⲥ ⳿ⲛⲛⲱⲓⲕ ⲓⲉ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲕⲉⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲏ ⲥ.
12 I fast twice in the week, I tithe all things as much as I gain.
ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ϯⲉⲣⲛⲏⲥⲧⲉⲩⲓⲛ ⳿ⲛⲥⲟⲡⲃ̅ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲥⲁⲃⲃⲁⲧⲟⲛ ϯϯ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲉⲙⲏⲧ ⳿ⲛⲉⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉϯ ⳿ϫⲫⲟ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
13 (and *ko) (but *no) the tax collector afar off having stood not was willing not even the eyes to lift up to heaven but was striking (into *k) the breast (of him *NK+o) saying: O God, do be merciful to me to the sinner!
ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ⲡⲓⲧⲉⲗⲱⲛⲏⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲉϥⲟϩⲓ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ϩⲓⲫⲟⲩⲉⲓ ⲛⲁϥⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉϥⲁⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥⲃⲁⲗ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲡϣⲱⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲧⲫⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁϥⲕⲱⲗϩ ⲡⲉ ϧⲉⲛ ⲧⲉϥⲙⲉⲥⲧⲉⲛϩⲏⲧ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲫϯ ⲭⲱ ⲛⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲕ ⲟⲩⲣⲉϥⲉⲣⲛⲟⲃⲓ.
14 I say to you; went down this one justified to the house of him (rather than *k) (compared with *n+o) (that [one]. *N+kO) For everyone who is exalting himself will be humbled, the [one] however humbling himself will be exalted.
ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ϯϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⲁ ⲫⲁⲓ ⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉⲥⲏⲧ ⲉϥ⳿ⲑⲙⲁⲓⲏⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⲫⲏ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲑⲛⲁϭⲁⲥϥ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟϥ ⲫⲏ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲑⲛⲁⲑⲉⲃⲓⲟϥ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϭⲁⲥϥ.
15 They were bringing then to Him also the infants that them He may touch; having seen however the disciples (were rebuking *N+kO) them.
ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ⲛⲁⲩ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲛϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲁⲗⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥϭⲓ ⲛⲉⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲉⲧⲁⲩⲛⲁⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙⲁⲑⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣ⳿ⲉⲡⲓⲧⲓⲙⲁⲛ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ.
16 But Jesus (called *N+kO) them (speaking; *N+kO) do permit the little children to come to Me and not do forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.
ⲓ̅ⲋ̅Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲉ ⲁϥⲙⲟⲩϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲭⲁ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲁⲗⲱⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲛⲧⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ϩⲁⲣⲟⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲧⲁϩⲛⲟ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲓⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓⲣⲏϯ ⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲧⲉ ⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
17 Amen I say to you; who[ever] (maybe *N+kO) not shall receive the kingdom of God as a child, certainly not shall enter into it.
ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⲫⲏⲉⲑⲛⲁϣⲉⲡ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲏϯ ⳿ⲙⲡⲁⲓ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲉϥ⳿ⲓ ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲥ.
18 And asked a certain Him ruler saying; Teacher good, what having done life eternal will I inherit? (aiōnios g166)
ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥϣⲉⲛϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲣⲭⲱⲛ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲣⲉϥϯ⳿ⲥⲃⲱ ⳿ⲛⲁⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉϯⲛⲁⲁⲓϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲉⲣ⳿ⲕⲗⲏⲣⲟⲛⲟⲙⲓⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲛϧ ⳿ⲛⲉⲛⲉϩ. (aiōnios g166)
19 Said then to him Jesus; Why Me you call good? No [one is] good only except one God.
ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲁϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ϫⲉ ⲉⲑⲃⲉⲟⲩ ⳿ⲕϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟⲓ ϫⲉ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲁⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⳿ⲛⲁⲅⲁⲑⲟⲥ ⳿ⲉⲃⲏⲗ ⳿ⲉⲫϯ ⳿ⲙⲙⲁⲩⲁⲧϥ.
20 The commandments You know: Not shall you commit adultery, not shall you murder, not shall you steal, not shall you bear false witness, do honor the father of you and the mother (of you. *k)
ⲕ̅ⲛⲓⲉⲛⲧⲟⲗⲏ ⳿ⲕⲥⲱⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣⲛⲱⲓⲕ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣϧⲱⲧⲉⲃ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣϭⲓⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲉⲣⲉⲣⲙⲉⲑⲣⲉ ⳿ⲛⲛⲟⲩϫ ⲙⲁⲧⲁⲓⲉ ⲡⲉⲕⲓⲱⲧ ⲛⲉⲙ ⲉⲕⲙⲁⲩ.
21 And he said; These all (I kept *N+kO) from [the] youth (of mine. *ko)
ⲕ̅ⲁ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲁⲓ⳿ⲁⲣⲉϩ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲓⲥϫⲉⲛ ⲧⲁⲙⲉⲧ⳿ⲁⲗⲟⲩ.
22 Having heard then (these things *k) Jesus said to him; Yet one thing to you is lacking: All as much as you have do sell and do distribute to [the] poor, and you will have treasure in (the *no) (heavens; *N+kO) and come, do follow Me.
ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲉⲧⲓ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁⲓ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲕϣⲁⲧ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲛⲭⲁⲓ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧⲉ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲕ ⲙⲏⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲟⲣⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓϩⲏⲕⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲉⲕ⳿ⲉ⳿ϫⲫⲟ ⲛⲁⲕ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲁϩⲟ ϧⲉⲛ ⲓⲫⲏⲟⲩ⳿ⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲁⲙⲟⲩ ⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲓ.
23 And having heard these things very sorrowful (he became; *N+kO) he was for rich extremely.
ⲕ̅ⲅ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲁ ⲡⲉϥϩⲏⲧ ⳿ⲙⲕⲁϩ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲣⲁⲙⲁ⳿ⲟ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲙⲁϣⲱ.
24 Having seen then him Jesus sorrowful became saying; How difficult [for] those riches having [when] into the kingdom of God (they enter. *N+kO)
ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ⲧⲁϥⲛⲁⲩ ⲉ ⳿ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲱⲥ ⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲕϩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲛⲏⲉⲧⲉ ⲛⲓ⳿ⲭⲣⲏⲙⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
25 Easier for it is a camel through (an eye of a needle *N+kO) to go than a rich man into the kingdom of God to enter.
ⲕ̅ⲉ̅⳿ⲥⲙⲟⲧⲉⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲩϭⲁⲙⲟⲩⲗⲓ ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲓⲧⲉⲛ ⳿ⲑⲟⲩⲁⲑⲛⲓ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲙⲁ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲣⲡ ⳿ⲉϩⲟⲧⲉ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲣⲁⲙⲁⲟ ⳿ⲓ ⳿ⲉϧⲟⲩⲛ ⳿ⲉϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ ⲫϯ.
26 Said then those having heard; Then who is able to be saved?
ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ⲡⲉϫⲱⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲏ ⲉⲧⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲙ ϩⲱϥ ⳿ⲉⲧⲉⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⳿ⲉⲛⲟϩⲉⲙ.
27 But He said; The [things] impossible with men possible with God are.
ⲕ̅ⲍ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲛⲓⲁⲧϫⲟⲙ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲛⲓⲣⲱⲙⲓ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⳿ϣϫⲟⲙ ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉⲛ ⲫϯ.
28 Said then Peter; Behold we ourselves (having abandoned *N+kO) ([our] own [things] *N+kO) (and *k) followed You.
ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ⲡⲉϫⲉ ⲡⲉⲧⲣⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⳿ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲁⲛⲭⲁ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲧⲁⲛ ⲁⲛⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱⲕ.
29 And He said to them; Amen I say to you that no [one] there is who has left house or wife or brothers or parents or children for the sake of the kingdom of God,
ⲕ̅ⲑ̅⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲁⲙⲏⲛ ϯϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ⲛⲱⲧⲉⲛ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲛ ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⳿ⲉⲁϥⲭⲁ ⲏⲓ ⳿ⲛⲥⲱϥ ⲓⲉ ⳿ⲥϩⲓⲙⲓ ⲓⲉ ϩⲁⲛ⳿ⲥⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲓⲉ ϩⲁⲛⲓⲟϯ ⲓⲉ ϩⲁⲛϣⲏⲣⲓ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ϯⲙⲉⲧⲟⲩⲣⲟ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉ Ⲫϯ.
30 who (certainly *N+kO) nothing (may receive back *NK+o) manifold more in time this — and in the age which is coming life eternal. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
ⲗ̅ϫⲉ ⳿ϥⲛⲁϭⲓⲧⲟⲩ ⲁⲛ ⳿ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⳿ⲛⲕⲱⲃ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲁⲓⲥⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ϧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓ⳿ⲉⲛⲉϩ ⲉⲑⲛⲏⲟⲩ ⲟⲩⲱⲛϧ ⳿ⲛ⳿ⲉⲛⲉϩ. (aiōn g165, aiōnios g166)
31 Having taken aside then the Twelve He said to them; Behold we go up to (Jerusalem, *N+kO) and will be accomplished all things which written through the prophets about the Son of Man;
ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ⲉⲧⲁϥ⳿ⲓⲛⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲧϥ ⳿ⲙⲡⲓⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲉϫⲁϥ ⲛⲱⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϩⲏⲡⲡⲉ ⲧⲉⲛⲛⲁϣⲉ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲣⲏⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲓⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲙ̅ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϫⲱⲕ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⳿ⲛϩⲱⲃ ⲛⲓⲃⲉⲛ ⲉⲧ⳿ⲥϧⲏ ⲟⲩⲧ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϩⲓⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲉⲑⲃⲉ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲙ⳿ⲫⲣⲱⲙⲓ.
32 He will be betrayed for to the Gentiles and will be mocked and will be insulted and will be spit upon,
ⲗ̅ⲃ̅ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲧⲏⲓϥ ⲅⲁⲣ ⳿ⲉⲧⲟⲧⲟⲩ ⳿ⲛⲛⲓⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁⲥⲱⲃⲓ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϣⲟϣϥ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲥⲉⲛⲁϩⲓⲑⲁϥ ⳿ⲉⲡⲉϥϩⲟ.
33 And having flogged [Him] they will kill Him, and on the day third He will rise again.

34 And they themselves no [thing] of these things understood, and was declaration this hidden from them, and neither they were knowing the [things] being spoken.
ⲗ̅ⲇ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⳿ⲛⲑⲱⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲕⲁϯ ⳿ⲉ⳿ϩⲗⲓ ⳿ⲛⲛⲁⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁϥϩⲏⲡ ⳿ⲉⲣⲱⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ ⲡⲓⲥⲁϫⲓ ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲁⲩ⳿ⲉⲙⲓ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⳿ⲉⲛⲏ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲱⲟⲩ.
35 It came to pass then in the drawing near by Him to Jericho a blind [man] certain was sitting beside the road (begging. *N+kO)
ⲗ̅ⲉ̅ⲁⲥϣⲱⲡⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲁϥϧⲱⲛⲧ ⳿ⲉⲓⲉⲣⲓⲭⲱ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲟⲛ ⲟⲩⲃⲉⲗⲗⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲉϥϩⲉⲙⲥⲓ ϧⲁⲧⲉⲛ ⲡⲓⲙⲱⲓⲧ ⲉϥϣⲁⲧⲙⲉⲑⲛⲁⲓ.
36 Having heard now a crowd passing along he was asking what (maybe *o) would be this.
ⲗ̅ⲋ̅ⲉⲧⲁϥⲥⲱⲧⲉⲙ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲟⲩⲙⲏϣ ⲉϥⲥⲓⲛⲓⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲁϥϣⲓⲛⲓ ⲡⲉ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉ ⲫⲁⲓ.
37 They told then to him that Jesus of Nazareth is passing by.
ⲗ̅ⲍ̅ⲁⲩⲧⲁⲙⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡⲓⲛⲁⲍⲱⲣⲉⲟⲥ ⲥⲓⲛⲓ.
38 And he called out saying; Jesus Son of David, do have mercy on me.
ⲗ̅ⲏ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲁϥⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲉϥϫⲱ ⳿ⲙⲙⲟⲥ ϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ.
39 And those going before were rebuking him that (he may be silent. *N+kO) He himself however much more was crying out; Son of David, do have mercy on me.
ⲗ̅ⲑ̅ⲟⲩⲟϩ ⲛⲏ ⳿ⲉⲛⲁⲩⲙⲟϣⲓ ⳿ⲉ⳿ⲧϩⲏ ⲛⲁⲩⲉⲣⲉⲡⲓⲧⲓⲙⲁⲛ ⲛⲁϥ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲉϥⲭⲁⲣⲱϥ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲁⲗⲗⲟⲛ ⳿ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲁϥⲱϣ ⳿ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ϫⲉ ⳿ⲡϣⲏⲣⲓ ⳿ⲛⲇⲁⲩⲓⲇ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲛⲏⲓ.
40 Having stopped then Jesus commanded him to be brought to Him. When was approaching then he He asked him;
ⲙ̅ⲉⲧⲁϥⲟϩⲓ ⲇⲉ ⳿ⲉⲣⲁⲧϥ ⳿ⲛϫⲉ Ⲓⲏ̅ⲥ̅ ⲁϥⲟⲩⲁϩⲥⲁϩⲛⲓ ⲉⲑⲣⲟⲩ⳿ⲉⲛϥ ϩⲁⲣⲟϥ ⲉⲧⲁϥϧⲱⲛⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲣⲟϥ ⲁϥϣⲉⲛϥ.
41 (saying *ko) What to you desire you I may do? And he said; Lord, that I may receive sight.
ⲙ̅ⲁ̅ϫⲉ ⲟⲩ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲕⲟⲩⲁϣϥ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲁⲓϥ ⲛⲁⲕ ⳿ⲛⲑⲟϥ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉϫⲁϥ ϫⲉ ⲡⲁϫ̅ⲥ̅ ϩⲓⲛⲁ ⳿ⲛⲧⲁⲛⲁⲩ ⳿ⲙⲃⲟⲗ.
42 And Jesus said to him; do receive sight: The faith of you has healed you.

43 And immediately he received sight and was following Him glorifying God. And all the people having seen [it] gave praise to God.
