Luke 16
1 He was saying now also to the disciples (of him: *k) A man certain there was rich who had a manager, and he was accused unto him as wasting the possessions of him.
Et il dit aussi à ses disciples: Il y avait un homme riche qui avait un économe; et celui-ci fut accusé devant lui comme dissipant ses biens.
2 And having called him he said to him; What [is] this I hear concerning you? do give the account of the stewardship of you; not for (you are able *N+kO) any longer to manage.
Et l’ayant appelé, il lui dit: Qu’est-ce que ceci que j’entends dire de toi? Rends compte de ton administration; car tu ne pourras plus administrer.
3 Said then within himself the manager; What shall I do, for the master of me is taking away the management from me? To dig not I am able, to beg I am ashamed.
Et l’économe dit en lui-même: Que ferai-je, car mon maître m’ôte l’administration? Je ne puis pas bêcher la terre; j’ai honte de mendier:
4 I know what I may do so that when I may have been removed (from *no) the management they may receive me into the homes (of them. *NK+o)
je sais ce que je ferai, afin que, quand je serai renvoyé de mon administration, je sois reçu dans leurs maisons.
5 And having called to [him] one each of the debtors of the master his own he was saying to the first; How much owe you to the master of me?
Et ayant appelé chacun des débiteurs de son maître, il dit au premier: Combien dois-tu à mon maître?
6 (then *NK+o) he said; A hundred baths of oil. (then *N+kO) he said to him; do take your (the bills *N+kO) and having sat down soon do write fifty.
Et il dit: 100 baths d’huile. Et il lui dit: Prends ton écrit, et assieds-toi promptement et écris 50.
7 Then to another he said; You yourself now how much owe? And he said; A hundred cors of wheat. (and *k) He says to him; do take your (bills *N+kO) and do write eighty.
Puis il dit à un autre: Et toi, combien dois-tu? Et il dit: 100 cors de froment. Et il lui dit: Prends ton écrit, et écris 80.
8 And praised the master the manager unrighteous because shrewdly he had acted, For the sons of the age this more shrewd than the sons of the light in the generation their own are. (aiōn g165)
Et le maître loua l’économe injuste parce qu’il avait agi prudemment. Car les fils de ce siècle sont plus prudents, par rapport à leur propre génération, que les fils de la lumière. (aiōn g165)
9 and I myself to you say; for yourselves do make friends by the wealth of unrighteousness, that when (it may fail *N+KO) they may receive you into the eternal dwellings. (aiōnios g166)
Et moi, je vous dis: Faites-vous des amis avec les richesses injustes, afin que, quand vous viendrez à manquer, vous soyez reçus dans les tabernacles éternels. (aiōnios g166)
10 The [one] faithful with very little also with much faithful is, and the [one] with very little unrighteous also with much unrighteous is.
Celui qui est fidèle dans ce qui est très petit, est fidèle aussi dans ce qui est grand; et celui qui est injuste dans ce qui est très petit, est injuste aussi dans ce qui est grand.
11 If therefore in the unrighteous wealth faithful not you have been, the true [riches] who to you will entrust?
Si donc vous n’avez pas été fidèles dans les richesses injustes, qui vous confiera les vraies?
12 And if in that which [is] of another faithful not you have been, that which ([is] yours *NK+O) who to you will give
Et si, dans ce qui est à autrui, vous n’avez pas été fidèles, qui vous donnera ce qui est vôtre?
13 No servant is able to two masters to serve; either for the one he will hate and the other he will love, or to one he will be devoted and the other he will despise. Not you are able God to serve and money.
Nul serviteur ne peut servir deux maîtres; car ou il haïra l’un et aimera l’autre, ou il s’attachera à l’un et méprisera l’autre: vous ne pouvez servir Dieu et les richesses.
14 Were listening to now these things all (and *k) the Pharisees lovers of money being and they were ridiculing Him.
Et les pharisiens aussi, qui étaient avares, entendirent toutes ces choses, et ils se moquèrent de lui.
15 And He said to them; You yourselves are those justifying themselves before men, but God knows the hearts of you for that which among men [is] exalted an abomination before God (is. *k)
Et il leur dit: Vous êtes ceux qui se justifient eux-mêmes devant les hommes; mais Dieu connaît vos cœurs: car ce qui est haut estimé parmi les hommes est une abomination devant Dieu.
16 The law and the prophets [were] (until *N+kO) John; from that time the kingdom of God is evangelised [about], and everyone into it forces his way.
La loi et les prophètes [ont été] jusqu’à Jean; dès lors le royaume de Dieu est annoncé et chacun use de violence pour y entrer.
17 Easier for however it is the heaven and the earth to pass away than of the law one stroke of a pen to fail.
Or il est plus facile que le ciel et la terre passent, qu’il ne l’est qu’un seul trait de lettre de la loi tombe.
18 Everyone who is putting away the wife of him and marrying another commits adultery, And (everyone *k) who separated her from a husband marrying commits adultery.
Quiconque répudie sa femme et en épouse une autre, commet adultère; et quiconque épouse une femme répudiée par son mari, commet adultère.
19 A man now certain there was rich and he was clothed in purple and fine linen making good cheer every day in splendor.
Or il y avait un homme riche qui se vêtait de pourpre et de fin lin, et qui faisait joyeuse chère, chaque jour, splendidement.
20 A poor man now certain (was *k) named Lazarus (who *k) had been laid at the gate of him full of sores
Et il y avait un pauvre, nommé Lazare, couché à sa porte, tout couvert d’ulcères,
21 and desiring to be fed from (crumbs *KO) that falling from the table of the rich man; but even the dogs coming were licking the sores of him.
et qui désirait de se rassasier des miettes qui tombaient de la table du riche; mais les chiens aussi venaient lécher ses ulcères.
22 It came to pass that then to die the poor man and to be carried away he by the angels into the bosom of Abraham; Died then also the rich man and was buried.
Et il arriva que le pauvre mourut, et qu’il fut porté par les anges dans le sein d’Abraham. Et le riche aussi mourut, et fut enseveli.
23 And in Hades having lifted up the eyes of him, being in torment he sees Abraham from afar and Lazarus in the bosom of him. (Hadēs g86)
Et, en hadès, levant ses yeux, comme il était dans les tourments, il voit de loin Abraham, et Lazare dans son sein. (Hadēs g86)
24 And he himself having cried out said; Father Abraham, do have mercy on me and do send Lazarus that he may dip the tip of the finger of him in water and may cool the tongue of mine, for I am suffering in flame this.
Et s’écriant, il dit: Père Abraham, aie pitié de moi et envoie Lazare, afin qu’il trempe dans l’eau le bout de son doigt, et qu’il rafraîchisse ma langue, car je suis tourmenté dans cette flamme.
25 Said then Abraham; Child, do remember that you did fully receive (you yourself *k) the [things] good of you in the lifetime of you, and Lazarus likewise the [things] harmful. Now however (here *N+kO) he is comforted, you yourself now are suffering.
Mais Abraham dit: [Mon] enfant, souviens-toi que tu as reçu tes biens pendant ta vie, et Lazare pareillement les maux; et maintenant lui est consolé ici, et toi tu es tourmenté.
26 And (besides *N+kO) all these things between us and you a chasm great has been fixed so that those desiring to pass (from here *N+kO) to you not may be able nor (those *k) from there to us they shall pass.
Et outre tout cela, un grand gouffre est fermement établi entre nous et vous; en sorte que ceux qui veulent passer d’ici vers vous ne le peuvent, et que ceux qui [veulent passer] de là ne traversent pas non plus vers nous.
27 He said then; I implore you then father, that you may send him to the house of the father of mine —
Et il dit: Je te prie donc, père, de l’envoyer dans la maison de mon père,
28 I have for five brothers — so that he may warn to them that not also they themselves may come to place this of torment.
car j’ai cinq frères, en sorte qu’il les adjure; de peur qu’eux aussi ne viennent dans ce lieu de tourment.
29 Says (however *no) (to him *ko) Abraham; They have Moses and the prophets; they should listen to them.
Mais Abraham lui dit: Ils ont Moïse et les prophètes; qu’ils les écoutent.
30 And he said; No, father Abraham, but if one from [the] dead shall go to them, they will repent.
Mais il dit: Non, père Abraham; mais si quelqu’un va des morts vers eux, ils se repentiront.
31 He said however to him; If to Moses and the prophets not they listen, (not even *N+kO) if one out from [the] dead shall rise will they be persuaded.
Et il lui dit: S’ils n’écoutent pas Moïse et les prophètes, ils ne seront pas persuadés non plus si quelqu’un ressuscitait d’entre les morts.
