Luke 14
1 And it came to pass on the going of Him into a house of one of the rulers of the Pharisees on a Sabbath to eat bread and they themselves were watching Him.
Und es geschah, da er in das Haus eines der Oberen der Pharisäer kam am Sabbat um zu speisen, waren sie auch da und lauerten auf ihn.
2 And behold a man certain there was with dropsy before Him.
Und siehe, ein wassersüchtiger Mensch trat vor ihn.
3 And answering Jesus spoke to the lawyers and to [the] Pharisees saying; (if *k) Is it lawful on the Sabbath (to heal *N+kO) (or not? *NO)
Und Jesus hob an und sagte zu den Gesetzesmännern und Pharisäern: ist es erlaubt am Sabbat zu heilen oder nicht?
4 But they were silent. And having taken hold [of him] He healed him and let [him] go.
Sie aber blieben stille. Und er faßte ihn an, heilte ihn und entließ ihn.
5 And (answering *k) to them He said; Which of you (a son *N+KO) or an ox into a pit (will collapse, *N+kO) also surely immediately he will pull up him on day the Sabbath?
Und zu ihnen sagte er: Wer von euch, wenn ihm sein Sohn oder sein Ochse in einen Brunnen fällt, wird ihn nicht alsbald heraufziehen am Sabbattage?
6 And not they were able to reply (to him *k) to these things.
Und sie vermochten darauf nichts zu erwidern.
7 He was speaking then to those invited a parable remarking how the first places they were choosing out, saying to them;
Er sprach aber zu den Geladenen ein Gleichnis, da er beobachtete, wie sie sich die ersten Plätze aussuchten, und sagte zu ihnen:
8 When you may be invited by anyone to wedding feasts, not may recline in the first place, otherwise otherwise [one] more honorable than you may have been invited by him,
wenn du von jemanden geladen wirst zur Hochzeit, so nimm nicht den ersten Sitz, damit nicht etwa ein Vornehmerer als du von ihm geladen sei,
9 and having come the [one] you and him having invited he will say to you; do give to this one [your] place. and then you will begin with shame the last place to take.
und es komme herzu, der dich und ihn geladen hat, und sage zu dir: mache diesem Platz, und du hast alsdann mit Scham den letzten Platz einzunehmen.
10 But when you may be invited, having gone (do recline *N+kO) in the last place, so that when may come the [one] having invited you, (he will say *N+kO) to you; Friend, do come up higher. Then will be to you glory before (all *NO) those reclining [with] you.
Sondern wenn du geladen wirst, so gehe hin und lasse dich nieder auf den letzten Platz, damit der dich geladen hat, wenn er kommt, zu dir sage: Freund, rücke weiter hinauf; dann widerfährt dir die Ehre vor allen deinen Mitgästen.
11 For everyone who is exalting himself will be humbled, and the [one] humbling himself will be exalted.
Denn jeder, der sich selbst erhöht, wird erniedrigt werden, und wer sich selbst erniedrigt, wird erhöht werden.
12 He was saying then also to the [one] having invited Him; When you may make a dinner or a supper, not do call the friends of you nor [call] the brothers of you nor [call] the relatives of you nor [call] neighbours rich otherwise otherwise also they themselves may invite in return you and it may become recompense to you.
Er sagte aber zu dem, der ihn geladen hatte: wenn du ein Frühstück oder Abendmahl richtest, so lade nicht deine Freunde noch deine Brüder, noch deine Verwandten, noch reiche Nachbarn, daß sie dich etwa wieder einladen und dir so Vergeltung werde.
13 But when a feast you may make do call [the] poor, [the] crippled, [the] lame, [the] blind.
Sondern wenn du eine Gastung hältst, so lade Arme, Krüppel, Lahme, Blinde,
14 and blessed you will be, because nothing they have to repay you; It will be recompensed for to you in the resurrection of the righteous.
so sollst du selig sein, weil sie es dir nicht vergelten können; denn es wird dir vergolten werden in der Auferstehung der Gerechten.
15 Having heard then one of those reclining with [Him] these things he said to Him; Blessed [is he] (who *N+kO) will eat (bread *NK+o) in the kingdom of God.
Als aber einer von den Mitgästen dieses hörte, sagte er zu ihm: selig, wer speiset im Reiche Gottes.
16 But He said to him; A man certain (was preparing *N+kO) a supper great and invited many;
Er aber sagte zu ihm: ein Mensch hielt ein großes Mahl und lud viele ein,
17 And he sent the servant of him at the hour of the supper to say to those invited; do come, for now ready [it] is (all things. *KO)
und sandte seinen Knecht aus, zur Stunde des Abendmahls den Geladenen anzusagen: kommet, denn es ist jetzt bereit.
18 And began with one [voice] all to excuse themselves. The first said to him; A field I have bought and I have need (going out *N+kO) (and *k) to see it; I beg of you, do hold me excused.
Und sie fiengen mit einem Male alle an, sich zu entschuldigen. Der erste sagte zu ihm: ich habe einen Acker gekauft, und muß notwendig hingehen ihn zu besehen; ich bitte dich, nimm mich für entschuldigt.
19 And another said; Yoke of oxen I have bought five and I am going to prove them; I beg of you do hold me excused.
Und ein anderer sagte: ich habe fünf Joch Ochsen gekauft und gehe eben sie zu untersuchen; ich bitte dich, nimm mich für entschuldigt.
20 And another said; A wife I have married and because of this not I am able to come.
Und ein anderer sagte: ich habe eine Frau genommen, und darum kann ich nicht kommen.
21 And having come the servant (that *k) reported to the master of him these things. Then having become angry the master of the house said to the servant of him; do go out soon into the streets and lanes of the city, and the poor and crippled and blind and lame do bring in here.
Und der Knecht stellte sich und meldete dieses seinem Herrn. Da ward der Hausherr zornig und sagte zu seinem Knecht: eiligst gehe in die Straßen und Gassen der Stadt, und bringe die Armen und Krüppel und Blinden und Lahmen herein.
22 And said the servant; Sir, it has been done (as *N+kO) you did command, and still room there is.
Und der Knecht sagte: Herr es ist geschehen, was du befohlen hast, und es ist noch Raum.
23 And said the master to the servant; do go out into the highways and hedges and do compel [them] to come in so that may be filled of mine the house.
Und der Herr sprach zu dem Knecht: gehe hinaus auf die Wege und an die Zäune und nötige sie herein, damit mein Haus voll werde.
24 I say for to you that not [one] of the men of those which invited will taste my supper (many for are called few but chosen. *O)
Denn ich sage euch, keiner von jenen Männern, die geladen waren, wird mein Mahl kosten.
25 Were going with then Him crowds great. and having turned He said to them;
Es zogen aber große Massen mit ihm, und er kehrte sich um und sprach zu ihnen:
26 If anyone comes to Me and not he hates the father (of himself *NK+o) and the mother and the wife and the children and the brothers and the sisters yes (and *N+kO) even the life his own not he is able to be My disciple.
Wenn einer zu mir kommt und haßt nicht seinen Vater, Mutter, Weib, Kinder, Brüder, Schwestern, ja sein eigenes Leben, so kann er nicht mein Jünger sein.
27 (and *ko) Whoever not carries the cross (of himself *NK+o) and comes after Me, not is able to be My disciple.
Wer nicht sein Kreuz trägt und geht mir nach, kann nicht mein Jünger sein.
28 Which for of you (who *o) is desiring a tower to build not first he having sat down he counts the cost whether he has (for *N+kO) [its] completion?
Denn wer von euch, wenn er einen Thurm bauen will, sitzt nicht zuerst hin und berechnet die Kosten, ob er Mittel hat es hinauszuführen?
29 Thus otherwise otherwise [when] laying of it a foundation and not being able to finish all those seeing [it] may begin him to mock
Damit nicht, wenn er den Grund gelegt und kann es nicht vollenden, alle Zuschauer anfangen, ihn zu verspotten,
30 saying that This man began to build and not he was able to finish.
und zu sagen: dieser Mensch hat angefangen zu bauen, und konnte es nicht hinausführen.
31 Or what king proceeding with another king to engage in war not having sat down first (will take counsel *N+kO) whether able he is with ten thousand (to meet *N+kO) the [one] with twenty thousand coming against him?
Oder welcher König, der auszieht um Krieg zu führen mit einem anderen König, sitzt nicht zuerst hin und hält Rat, ob er im Stande ist, mit zehntausend dem zu begegnen, der mit zwanzigtausend gegen ihn anrückt?
32 lest then except indeed still of him far off being an embassy having sent he asks for peace.
Wofern aber nicht, so schickt er eine Gesandtschaft an ihn, so lange er noch fern ist, und wirbt um Frieden.
33 So therefore every one of you who not does give up all his own possessions, not is able to be My disciple.
So kann denn keiner von euch, der nicht allem was er hat entsagt, mein Jünger sein.
34 Good [is] (therefore *NO) the salt; if however (even *no) the salt shall become tasteless, with what will it be seasoned?
Das Salz ist wohl gut, wenn aber auch das Salz taub wird, womit soll es hergestellt werden?
35 Neither [is it] for soil nor for manure fit is it; out they cast it. The [one] having ears to hear he should hear.
Es ist weder aufs Land noch auf den Mist brauchbar. Man wirft es hinaus. Wer Ohren hat zu hören, der höre.
