Luke 12
1 In these [times] when were gathering the myriads of the crowd so as to trample upon one another He began to say to the disciples of Him first; do take heed to yourselves of the leaven which is hypocrisy of the Pharisees.
Als sich unterdessen viele Tausende [Eig. die Myriaden] der Volksmenge versammelt hatten, so daß sie einander traten, fing er an, zu seinen Jüngern zu sagen, zuerst: Hütet [And. üb.: zu seinen Jüngern zu sagen: Zuerst hütet usw.] euch vor dem Sauerteig der Pharisäer, welcher Heuchelei ist.
2 No [thing] now concealed is which not will be revealed, nor hidden which not will be known.
Es ist aber nichts verdeckt, was nicht aufgedeckt, und verborgen, was nicht kundwerden wird;
3 Instead that as much as in the darkness you have said in the light will be heard, and what into the ear you have spoken in the inner rooms will be proclaimed upon the housetops.
deswegen, soviel ihr in der Finsternis gesprochen haben werdet, wird im Lichte gehört werden, und was ihr ins Ohr gesprochen haben werdet in den Kammern, wird auf den Dächern [O. Häusern] ausgerufen werden.
4 I say now to you those friends of Mine; not you may fear because of those killing the body and after these things not being able more excessive anything to do.
Ich sage aber euch, meinen Freunden: Fürchtet euch nicht vor denen, die den Leib töten und nach diesem nichts weiter zu tun vermögen.
5 I will show however you whom you may fear: do fear the [One who] after the killing has authority to cast into hell. Yes I say to you; Him do fear. (Geenna g1067)
Ich will euch aber zeigen, wen ihr fürchten sollt: Fürchtet den, der nach dem Töten Gewalt hat, in die Hölle zu werfen; ja, sage ich euch, diesen fürchtet. (Geenna g1067)
6 Surely five sparrows (are being sold for *N+kO) assarion two? And one of them not is forgotten before God;
Werden nicht fünf Sperlinge um zwei Pfennig [W. Assarion; s. die Anm. zu Mat. 10,29] verkauft? und nicht einer von ihnen ist vor Gott vergessen.
7 But even the hairs of the head of you all have been numbered. Not (therefore *K) do fear; than many sparrows you are more valuable.
Aber selbst die Haare eures Hauptes sind alle gezählt. So fürchtet euch nun nicht; ihr seid vorzüglicher als viele Sperlinge.
8 I say now to you; everyone who maybe (may confess *NK+o) in Me myself before the men, also the Son of Man will confess in him before the angels of God;
Ich sage euch aber: Jeder, der irgend mich vor den Menschen bekennen wird, den wird auch der Sohn des Menschen vor den Engeln Gottes bekennen;
9 the [one] now having denied Me before men will be denied before the angels of God.
wer aber mich vor den Menschen verleugnet haben wird, der wird vor den Engeln Gottes verleugnet werden.
10 And everyone who will speak a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven to him; to the [one] however [who] against the Holy Spirit having blasphemed not will be forgiven.
Und jeder, der ein Wort sagen wird wider den Sohn des Menschen, dem wird vergeben werden; dem aber, der wider den Heiligen Geist lästert, wird nicht vergeben werden.
11 When then (they may bring in *N+kO) you before the synagogues and the rulers and the authorities, not (may be anxious *N+kO) how or what you may present a defense or what you may say;
Wenn sie euch aber vor die Synagogen und die Obrigkeiten und die Gewalten führen, so sorget nicht, wie oder womit ihr euch verantworten oder was ihr sagen sollt;
12 the for Holy Spirit will teach you in same the hour what it behooves [you] to say.
denn der Heilige Geist wird euch in selbiger Stunde lehren, was ihr sagen sollt.
13 Said then one from the crowd to Him: Teacher, do say to the brother of mine to divide with me the inheritance.
Einer aus der Volksmenge aber sprach zu ihm: Lehrer, sage meinem Bruder, daß er das Erbe mit mir teile.
14 And He said to him; Man, who Me appointed (a judge *N+kO) or partitioner over you?
Er aber sprach zu ihm: Mensch, wer hat mich zu einem Richter oder Erbteiler über euch gesetzt?
15 He said then to them; do watch and do keep yourselves from (all *N+kO) covetousness, for not in the abounding to anyone the life (to him *NK+o) is of the possessions (of him. *N+kO)
Er sprach aber zu ihnen: Sehet zu und hütet euch vor aller Habsucht, [O. Gier] denn nicht weil jemand Überfluß hat, besteht sein Leben von seiner Habe.
16 He spoke then a parable to them saying; Of a man certain rich brought forth abundantly the ground.
Er sagte aber ein Gleichnis zu ihnen und sprach: Das Land eines gewissen reichen Menschen trug viel ein.
17 And he was reasoning within himself saying; What shall I do for not I have where I will store up the fruits of mine?
Und er überlegte bei sich selbst und sprach: Was soll ich tun? denn ich habe nicht, wohin ich meine Früchte einsammeln soll.
18 And he said; This will I do: I will tear down my barns and greater will build and will store up there all (the grain *N+kO) (of mine *k) and the goods of mine
Und er sprach: Dies will ich tun: ich will meine Scheunen niederreißen und größere bauen, und will dahin all mein Gewächs und meine Güter [Eig. mein Gutes] einsammeln;
19 And I will say to the soul of mine; Soul, you have many good things laid up for years many. do rest yourself do eat, do drink, do be merry.
und ich will zu meiner Seele sagen: Seele, du hast viele Güter [Eig. vieles Gute] daliegen auf viele Jahre; ruhe aus, iß, trink, sei fröhlich.
20 Said then to him God; Fool! On this night the soul of you (is required *NK+o) of you. what now you did prepare — to whom will [it] be?
Gott aber sprach zu ihm: Du Tor! in dieser Nacht wird man deine Seele von dir fordern; was du aber bereitet hast, für wen wird es sein?
21 So [is] the [one] treasuring up for himself and not toward God being rich.
Also ist der für sich Schätze sammelt, und ist nicht reich in Bezug auf Gott.
22 He said then to the disciples of Him; Because of this I say to you: not do be anxious for the life (of you *k) what you may eat, nor [be anxious] for the body (of you *o) what you may put on.
Er sprach aber zu seinen Jüngern: Deshalb sage ich euch: Seid nicht besorgt für das Leben, was ihr essen, noch für den Leib, was ihr anziehen sollt.
23 The (for *no) life more is than the food, and the body than the clothing.
Das Leben ist mehr als die Nahrung, und der Leib mehr als die Kleidung.
24 do consider the ravens that not they sow nor they reap to them not there is a storehouse nor [is] barn — and God feeds them; How much more you yourselves are valuable than the birds?
Betrachtet die Raben, daß [O. denn] sie nicht säen noch ernten, die weder Vorratskammer noch Scheune haben, und Gott ernährt sie; um wieviel vorzüglicher seid ihr als die Vögel!
25 Which now of you being anxious is able to the lifespan of him to add hour (one? *ko)
Wer aber unter euch vermag mit Sorgen seiner Größe [S. die Anm. zu Mat. 6,27] eine Elle zuzusetzen?
26 If then (not even *N+kO) [the] least you are able [to do], why about the rest are you anxious?
Wenn ihr nun auch das Geringste nicht vermöget, warum seid ihr um das Übrige besorgt?
27 do consider the lilies how they grow: Not do they labor nor do they spin. I say however to you; not even Solomon in all the glory of him was arrayed as one of these.
Betrachtet die Lilien, wie sie wachsen; sie mühen sich nicht und spinnen auch nicht. Ich sage euch aber, selbst nicht Salomon in all seiner Herrlichkeit war bekleidet wie eine von diesen.
28 If however in [the] field the grass being [here] today and tomorrow into [the] furnace being thrown God thus (dresses, *N+kO) how much more you, O [you] of little faith?
Wenn aber Gott das Gras, das heute auf dem Felde ist [O. das Gras auf dem Felde, das heute ist] und morgen in den Ofen geworfen wird, also kleidet, wieviel mehr euch, Kleingläubige!
29 And you yourselves not do seek what you may eat (and *N+kO) what you may drink, and not do worry yourself.
Und ihr, trachtet nicht danach, was ihr essen oder was ihr trinken sollt, und seid nicht in Unruhe; [O. wollet nicht hoch hinaus]
30 these things for all the nations of the world (seek for; *N+kO) of you now the Father knows that you have need of these.
denn nach diesem allem trachten die Nationen der Welt; euer Vater aber weiß, daß ihr dieses bedürfet.
31 But do seek the kingdom (of Him *N+KO) and these things (all things *K) will be added to you.
Trachtet jedoch nach seinem Reiche, und dieses wird euch hinzugefügt werden.
32 Not do fear, O little flock, for took delight the Father of you to give you the kingdom.
Fürchte dich nicht, du kleine Herde, denn es hat eurem Vater wohlgefallen, euch das Reich zu geben.
33 do sell the possessions of you and do give alms; do make to yourselves purses not growing old, a treasure unfailing in the heavens where thief not does draw near nor moth destroy;
Verkaufet eure Habe und gebet Almosen; machet euch Säckel, die nicht veralten, einen Schatz, unvergänglich, [O. der nicht abnimmt] in den Himmeln, wo kein Dieb sich naht und keine Motte verderbt.
34 Where for is the treasure of you, there also the heart of you will be.
Denn wo euer Schatz ist, da wird auch euer Herz sein.
35 should be your waist girded and the lamps burning,
Es seien eure Lenden umgürtet und die Lampen brennend;
36 and you yourselves like to men waiting for the master of themselves whenever (he may return *N+kO) from the wedding feasts, that having come and having knocked immediately they may open to him.
und ihr, seid Menschen gleich, die auf ihren Herrn warten, wann irgend er aufbrechen [O. zurückkehren] mag von der Hochzeit, auf daß, wenn er kommt und anklopft, sie ihm alsbald aufmachen.
37 Blessed [are] the servants those whom having come the master will find watching; Amen I say to you that he will gird himself and he will make recline them, and having come up he will serve them.
Glückselig jene Knechte, [O. Sklaven; so auch v 38 usw.] die der Herr, wenn er kommt, wachend finden wird! Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Er wird sich umgürten und sie sich zu Tische legen lassen und wird hinzutreten und sie bedienen.
38 And if And if (he may come *k) in the second (watch *k) (and if and if *N+kO) in the third watch he may come and he may find [them] thus, blessed are (servants *KO) those!
Und wenn er in der zweiten Wache kommt und in der dritten Wache kommt und findet sie also-glückselig sind jene Knechte!
39 This however do know that if had known the master of the house in what hour the thief is coming, not (he watched *KO) (maybe *K) (and *KO) maybe he have allowed (to be broken into *N+kO) the house of him.
Dies aber erkennet: Wenn der Hausherr gewußt hätte, zu welcher Stunde der Dieb kommen würde, so hätte er gewacht und nicht erlaubt, daß sein Haus durchgraben würde.
40 Also you yourselves (therefore *K) do be ready, for in the hour not you expect the Son of Man comes.
Auch ihr nun, seid bereit; denn in der Stunde, in welcher ihr es nicht meinet, kommt der Sohn des Menschen.
41 Said then (to him *k) Peter; Lord, to us parable this speak You or also to all?
Petrus aber sprach zu ihm: Herr, sagst du dieses Gleichnis zu uns oder auch zu allen?
42 (And *no) said (now *k) the Lord; Who then is the faithful manager (the *N+kO) wise whom will set the master over the care [of servants] of him to give [them] in season the measure of food?
Der Herr aber sprach: Wer ist nun der treue und kluge Verwalter, welchen der Herr über sein Gesinde setzen wird, um ihm die zugemessene Speise zu geben zur rechten Zeit?
43 Blessed [is] the servant that [one] whom having come the master of him will find doing thus.
Glückselig jener Knecht, den sein Herr, wenn er kommt, also tuend finden wird!
44 Of a truth I say to you that over all the possessions of him he will set him.
In Wahrheit sage ich euch, daß er ihn über seine ganze Habe setzen wird.
45 If however shall say the servant that [one] in the heart of him; Delays the master of Me to come, and shall begin to beat the men-servants and the maid-servants to eat also and to drink and to get drunk,
Wenn aber jener Knecht in seinem Herzen sagt: Mein Herr verzieht zu kommen, und anfängt, die Knechte und Mägde zu schlagen und zu essen und zu trinken und sich zu berauschen,
46 will come the master of the servant that [one] in a day in which not he does expect and in an hour that not he knows and he will cut in two him and the place of him with the unbelievers will appoint.
so wird der Herr jenes Knechtes kommen an einem Tage, an welchem er es nicht erwartet, und in einer Stunde, die er nicht weiß, und wird ihn entzweischneiden und ihm sein Teil setzen mit den Untreuen. [O. Ungläubigen]
47 That [very] now servant the [one] having known the will of the master (of him *N+kO) and not having prepared (or *N+kO) having done according to the will of him will be beaten with many [blows].
Jener Knecht aber, der den Willen seines Herrn wußte und sich nicht bereitet, noch nach seinem Willen getan hat, wird mit vielen Schlägen geschlagen werden;
48 the [one] however not having known having done however [things] worthy of stripes will be beaten with few. Everyone now to whom has been given much, much will be required from him; and to whom has been committed much, more excessive will they ask of him.
wer ihn aber nicht wußte, aber getan hat, was der Schläge wert ist, wird mit wenigen geschlagen werden. Jedem aber, dem viel gegeben ist-viel wird von ihm verlangt werden; und wem man viel anvertraut hat, von dem wird man desto mehr fordern.
49 Fire I came to cast (upon *N+kO) the earth and how I wish if already it be kindled!
Ich bin gekommen, Feuer auf die Erde zu werfen; und was will ich, wenn es schon angezündet ist?
50 Baptism however I have to be baptized [with] and how I am distressed until (while *N+kO) it may be accomplished!
Ich habe aber eine Taufe, womit ich getauft werden muß, und wie bin ich beengt, bis sie vollbracht ist!
51 Think you that peace I came to give on the earth? No, I say to you, but rather division.
Denket ihr, daß ich gekommen sei, Frieden auf der Erde zu geben? Nein, sage ich euch, sondern vielmehr Entzweiung.
52 There will be for from now five in one house divided, three against two and two against three
Denn es werden von nun an fünf in einem Hause entzweit sein; drei werden wider zwei und zwei wider drei entzweit sein:
53 (They will be divided *N+kO) father against son and son against father, mother against (daughter *N+kO) and daughter against (mother, *N+kO) mother-in-law against the daughter-in-law of her and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law (of her. *k)
Vater wider Sohn und Sohn wider Vater, Mutter wider Tochter und Tochter wider Mutter, Schwiegermutter wider ihre Schwiegertochter und Schwiegertochter wider ihre Schwiegermutter.
54 He was saying now also to the crowds; When you may see a cloud rising up (from *N+kO) [the] west, immediately you say (that *no) A shower is coming, and it happens so.
Er sprach aber auch zu den Volksmengen: Wenn ihr eine Wolke von Westen aufsteigen sehet, so saget ihr alsbald: Ein Regenguß kommt; und es geschieht also.
55 And when a south wind is blowing, you say that Heat there will be, and it happens.
Und wenn ihr den Südwind wehen sehet, so saget ihr: Es wird Hitze geben; und es geschieht.
56 Hypocrites! The appearance of the earth and of the sky you know [how] to discern, the time however this how not (do you know *no) (to discern? *N+kO)
Heuchler! das Angesicht der Erde und des Himmels wisset ihr zu beurteilen; wie aber ist es, daß ihr diese Zeit nicht beurteilet?
57 Why now even for yourselves not judge you what [is] right?
Warum aber auch richtet ihr von euch selbst nicht, was recht ist?
58 As for you are going with the adversary of you before a magistrate, in the way do give earnestness to have been set free from him otherwise otherwise he may drag away you to the judge, and the judge you (will deliver *N+kO) to the officer, and the officer you (will cast *N+k+o) into prison.
Denn wenn du mit deiner Gegenpartei [O. deinem Widersacher; wie anderswo] vor die Obrigkeit [Eig. zum Archonten] gehst, so gib dir auf dem Wege Mühe, von ihr loszukommen, damit sie dich nicht etwa zu dem Richter hinschleppe; und der Richter wird dich dem Gerichtsdiener überliefern, und der Gerichtsdiener dich ins Gefängnis werfen.
59 I say to you; certainly not shall you come out from there until (of which *k) even (the *N+kO) last lepton you may have paid.
Ich sage dir: Du wirst nicht von dannen herauskommen, bis du auch den letzten Heller [W. Lepton; die kleinste Geldmünze, welche damals im Umlauf war] bezahlt hast.
