John 5
1 After these things there was (the *o) feast of the Jews, and went up Jesus to Jerusalem.
૧એ બન્યા પછી યહૂદીઓનું એક પર્વ હતું; તે સમયે ઈસુ યરુશાલેમ ગયા.
2 There is now in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is being called in Hebrew (Bethzatha, *N+kO) five porches having.
૨હવે યરુશાલેમમાં ‘ઘેટાંનો દરવાજો’ નામે જગ્યા પાસે એક કૂંડ છે, તે હિબ્રૂ ભાષામાં બેથઝાથા કહેવાય છે. તેને લગતી પાંચ પરસાળ છે.
3 In these were lying a multitude (great *K) of those ailing, blind, lame, paralyzed (waiting for of the water motion. *K)
૩તેમાં રોગી, અંધજનો, અપંગ, લકવાગ્રસ્તો એવાં ઘણાં બીમાર લોકો હતા. તેઓ તે કૂંડમાં પાણી હલવાની રાહ જોતાં હતા.
4 (an angel *KO) (for on occasion was going down among those pool and was troubling the water; the [one] who therefore first was climbing in after the disturbance of the water healthy was becoming of that whatever he was posessed disease. *K)
૪(કેમ કે કોઈ કોઈ સમયે એક દૂત તે કૂંડમાં ઊતરીને પાણીને હલાવતો હતો; પાણી હલાવ્યાં પછી જે કોઈ પહેલો તેમાં ઊતરતો, તેને જે કંઈ રોગ હોય તેથી તે રોગી સાજો થતો.)
5 There was now a certain man there thirty (and *no) eight years being in infirmity (himself. *no)
૫ત્યાં એક માણસ હતો, જે આડત્રીસ વર્ષથી બીમાર હતો.
6 Him having seen Jesus lying, and having known that a long already time he has been, He says to him; Desire you well to become?
૬તેને પડી રહેલો જોઈને તથા ઘણાં સમયથી તે એવો જ છે, તે જાણીને ઈસુ તેને કહે છે કે, ‘શું તું સાજો થવા ચાહે છે?’”
7 Answered Him the [one] ailing; Sir, a man not I have that when may be stirred the water (he may put *N+kO) me into the pool; in which now am going I myself, another before me descends.
૭તે બીમાર માણસે ઈસુને એવો જવાબ આપ્યો કે, ‘પ્રભુ, જે સમયે પાણી હાલે છે, તે સમયે મને કૂંડમાં ઉતારવાને મારી પાસે કોઈ હોતું નથી. પણ હું ઊતરવા જાઉં છું, એટલામાં બીજો મારી અગાઉ ઊતરી પડે છે.’”
8 Says to him Jesus; (do arise, *N+kO) do take up the mat of you and do walk.
૮ઈસુ તેને કહે છે કે, ‘ઊઠ, તારું બિછાનું ઊંચકીને ચાલતો થા.’”
9 And immediately became well the man and he took up the mat of him and was walking; It was now Sabbath on that [very] day.
૯તરત તે માણસ સાજો થયો અને પોતાનું બિછાનું ઊંચકીને ચાલવા લાગ્યો. તે દિવસે વિશ્રામવાર હતો.
10 Were saying therefore the Jews to the [one] healed; Sabbath it is, (and *no) not it is lawful for you to take up the mat (of you. *NK)
૧૦તેથી જેને સાજો કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો તેને યહૂદીઓએ કહ્યું કે, ‘આજે વિશ્રામવાર છે, એટલે તારે બિછાનું ઊંચકવું યોગ્ય નથી.’”
11 (The [man] *n+o) (however *no) answered them; The [One] having made me well, that One to me said; do take up the mat of you and do walk.
૧૧પણ તેણે તેઓને એવો જવાબ આપ્યો કે, ‘જેમણે મને સાજો કર્યો તેમણે મને કહ્યું કે, તારું બિછાનું ઊંચકીને ચાલતો થા.’”
12 They asked (therefore *KO) him; Who is the man having said to you; do take up (the *ko) (mat of you *KO) and do walk?’
૧૨તેઓએ તેને પૂછ્યું કે, “તને જેણે એમ કહ્યું કે, ‘બિછાનું ઊંચકીને ચાલ,’ તે માણસ કોણ છે?”
13 The [one] now having been healed not knew who it is; for Jesus moved away a crowd being in the place.
૧૩પણ તે કોણ છે, તે સાજો થયેલો માણસ જાણતો નહોતો; કેમ કે તે જગ્યાએ ભીડ હતી, ઈસુ ત્યાંથી આગળ ગયા હતા.
14 After these things finds him Jesus in the temple and said to him; Behold well you have become; no more do sin that not worse to you something may happen.
૧૪પછીથી ઈસુએ તે માણસને ભક્તિસ્થાનમાં મળીને તેને કહ્યું કે, ‘જો તું સાજો થયો છે; હવેથી પાપ ન કર, રખેને તારા પર વિશેષ વિપત્તિ આવી પડે.’”
15 Went away the man and (told *NK+o) to the Jews that Jesus it is the [One] having made him well.
૧૫તે માણસે જઈને યહૂદીઓને કહ્યું કે, ‘જેમણે મને સાજો કર્યો તે ઈસુ છે.’”
16 And because of this were persecuting the Jews Jesus (and were seeking him to kill *K) because these things He was doing on [the] Sabbath.
૧૬તે કામો ઈસુએ વિશ્રામવારે કર્યાં હતાં, માટે યહૂદીઓ તેમને સતાવવા લાગ્યા.
17 But Jesus answered them; The Father of Mine until now is working, and I myself and I myself am working.
૧૭પણ ઈસુએ તેઓને જવાબ આપ્યો કે, ‘મારા પિતા અત્યાર સુધી કામ કરે છે અને હું પણ કાર્યરત છું.’”
18 Because of this therefore [the] more were seeking Him the Jews to kill, because not only was He breaking the Sabbath, but also Father His own He was naming God equal Himself making to God.
૧૮તે માટે ઈસુને મારી નાખવા યહૂદીઓએ વિશેષ પ્રયત્ન કર્યો; કેમ કે ઈસુએ વિશ્રામવારનો ભંગ કર્યો એટલું જ નહિ, પણ ઈશ્વરને પોતાના પિતા કહીને પોતાને ઈશ્વર સમાન કર્યા.
19 Answered therefore Jesus and (was saying *N+kO) to them; Amen Amen I say to you; not is able the Son to do of Himself no [thing], (only *NK+o) unless anything He shall see the Father doing. whatever for maybe He shall do, these things also the Son likewise does.
૧૯ત્યારે ઈસુએ તેઓને જવાબ આપ્યો કે, ‘હું તમને ખરેખર કહું છું કે, દીકરો પિતાને જે કંઈ કરતા જુએ છે તે સિવાય પોતે અન્ય કંઈ કરી નથી શકતો; કેમ કે તે જે જે કરે છે તે તે દીકરો પણ કરે છે.
20 For the Father loves the Son and all things shows to Him that He himself does, and greater than these He will show to Him works so that you yourselves may marvel.
૨૦કેમ કે પિતા દીકરા પર પ્રેમ કરે છે અને પોતે જે કંઈ કરે છે તે બધું તે તેને બતાવે છે; અને તે તેને એ કરતાં મોટાં કામ બતાવશે, એ માટે કે તમે આશ્ચર્ય પામો.
21 Even as for the Father raises up the dead and gives life, thus also the Son to whom He wishes gives life.
૨૧કેમ કે જે પિતા મૃત્યુ પામેલાઓને સજીવન કરે છે, તેમ જ દીકરો પણ ચાહે તેમને જીવન આપે છે.
22 Not for the Father does judge no [one], but judgment all has given to the Son,
૨૨કેમ કે પિતા કોઈનો ન્યાય કરતા નથી, પણ ન્યાય કરવાનું સઘળું કામ તેમણે દીકરાને સોંપ્યું છે
23 so that all may honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who not is honoring the Son not is honoring the Father the [One] having sent Him.
૨૩કે, જેમ બધા પિતાને માન આપે છે, તેમ દીકરાને પણ માન આપે. દીકરાને જે માન આપતો નથી, તે તેના મોકલનાર પિતાને પણ માન આપતો નથી.
24 Amen Amen I say to you that the [one] the word of Mine hearing and believing in the [One] having sent Me he has life eternal and into judgment not comes, but has passed out of death into life. (aiōnios g166)
૨૪હું તમને નિશ્ચે કહું છું કે, જે મારાં વચન સાંભળે છે અને મને મોકલનાર પર વિશ્વાસ કરે છે, તેને અનંતજીવન છે; તે અપરાધી ઠરશે નહિ, પણ તે મૃત્યુમાંથી નીકળીને જીવનમાં આવ્યો છે. (aiōnios g166)
25 Amen Amen I say to you that is coming an hour and now is when the dead (will hear *N+kO) the voice of the Son of God and those having heard (will live. *N+kO)
૨૫હું તમને નિશ્ચે કહું છું કે, એવો સમય આવે છે અને હમણાં આવી ચૂક્યો છે કે, જયારે મૃત્યુ પામેલાંઓ ઈશ્વરના દીકરા ઈસુનાં વચન સાંભળશે અને સાંભળનારાંઓ જીવશે.
26 As for the Father has life in Himself, so also to the Son He gave life to have in Himself,
૨૬કેમ કે જેમ પિતાને પોતાનામાં જીવન છે, તેમ દીકરાને પણ પોતાનામાં જીવન રાખવાનું તેમણે આપ્યું.
27 And authority He gave to Him (and *k) judgment to carry out, because Son of Man He is.
૨૭ન્યાય કરવાનો અધિકાર પણ તેમણે તેને આપ્યો, કેમ કે તે માણસનો દીકરો છે.
28 Not do marvel at this, for is coming an hour in which all those in the tombs (will hear *N+kO) the voice of Him
૨૮તેથી તમે આશ્ચર્ય ન પામો; કેમ કે એવો સમય આવે છે કે જયારે સર્વ જેઓ કબરમાં છે તેઓ તેમનો અવાજ સાંભળશે;
29 and will come forth — those good having done to [the] resurrection of life, and those evil having done to [the] resurrection of judgment.
૨૯અને જેઓએ સારાં કામ કર્યા છે, તેઓ જીવનનું પુનરુત્થાન પામવા માટે અને જેઓએ ખરાબ કામ કર્યાં છે, તેઓ શિક્ષાત્મક પુનરુત્થાન પામવા માટે, નીકળી આવશે.
30 Not am able I myself to do of Myself no [thing]; even as I hear I judge, and the judgment of Mine just is, because not I seek the will of Me but the will of the [One who] having sent Me ([the] Father. *K)
૩૦હું મારી પોતાની તરફથી કંઈ કરી શકતો નથી; પરંતુ જે પ્રમાણે હું સાંભળું છું, તે પ્રમાણે ન્યાય કરું છું; અને મારો ન્યાયચુકાદો અદલ છે. કેમ કે હું મારી પોતાની ઇચ્છા નહિ, પણ જેમણે મને મોકલ્યો છે, તેમની ઇચ્છા પૂરી કરવા ચાહું છું.
31 If I myself shall bear witness concerning Myself, the testimony of Mine not is true;
૩૧જો હું પોતાના વિષે સાક્ષી આપું, તો મારી સાક્ષી સાચી નથી.
32 Another it is who is bearing witness concerning Me, and I know that true is the testimony which he bears witness concerning Me.
૩૨પણ મારા વિષે જે સાક્ષી આપે છે, તે બીજો છે; અને જે સાક્ષી મારા વિષે તે આપે છે, તે સાચી છે, એ હું જાણું છું.
33 You yourselves have sent unto John and he has borne witness to the truth;
૩૩તમે યોહાન પાસે માણસો મોકલ્યા, તમને તેણે સત્ય વિષે સાક્ષી આપી છે.
34 I myself now not from man the testimony receive but these things I say that you yourselves may be saved.
૩૪તોપણ જે સાક્ષી હું સ્વીકારું છું તે માણસો તરફથી નથી; પણ તમે ઉદ્ધાર પામો માટે હું એ વાતો કહું છું.
35 He was the lamp which is burning and shining, you yourselves now were willing to rejoice for a season in the light of him.
૩૫તે સળગતો તથા પ્રગટતો દીવો હતો, તેના પ્રકાશમાં તમે ઘડીભર આનંદ કરવાને રાજી હતા.
36 I myself however have the testimony (greater than *N+kO) that of John; For the works that (has given *N+kO) Me the Father that I may complete them, same the works which (I myself *k) I do, bear witness concerning Me that the Father Me has sent.
૩૬પણ યોહાનના કરતાં મારી પાસે મોટી સાક્ષી છે; કેમ કે પિતાએ જે કામો મને પૂરાં કરવાને આપ્યાં છે, એટલે જે કામો હું કરું છું, તે જ મારે વિષે સાક્ષી આપે છે કે પિતાએ મને મોકલ્યો છે.
37 And the [One] having sent Me [the] Father (Himself *N+kO) has borne witness concerning Me; Neither voice of Him at any time have You heard nor form of Him have you seen,
૩૭વળી પિતાએ મને મોકલ્યો છે, તેમણે પણ મારે વિષે સાક્ષી આપી છે. તમે કદી તેમની વાણી નથી સાંભળી અને તેમનું સ્વરૂપ પણ નિહાળ્યું નથી.
38 And the word of Him not you have in you abiding for whom sent He, in Him you yourselves not believe.
૩૮તેમના વચન તમારામાં રહેલાં નથી; કેમ કે જેને તેમણે મોકલ્યો, તેના પર તમે વિશ્વાસ કરતા નથી.
39 You diligently search the Scriptures, for you yourselves think in them life eternal to have; and these are they those bearing witness concerning Me, (aiōnios g166)
૩૯તમે પવિત્રશાસ્ત્ર તપાસી જુઓ છો, કેમ કે તેઓથી તમને અનંતજીવન છે, એમ તમે ધારો છો; અને મારે વિષે સાક્ષી આપનાર તે એ જ છે. (aiōnios g166)
40 and not you are willing to come to Me that life you may have.
૪૦અને જીવન પામવા માટે તમે મારી પાસે આવવા ચાહતા નથી.
41 Glory from men not I take;
૪૧હું માણસો તરફથી પ્રશંસાની ઇચ્છા રાખતો નથી.
42 but I have known you that the love of God not you have in yourselves.
૪૨પણ હું જાણું છું કે ઈશ્વર પરનો પ્રેમ તમારામાં નથી.
43 I myself have come in the name of the Father of Mine, and not you receive Me; if another shall come in the name the own, him you will receive.
૪૩હું મારા પિતાના નામે આવ્યો છું, પણ તમે મારો સ્વીકાર કરતા નથી; જો કોઈ બીજો પોતાને નામે આવશે, તો તેનો તમે સ્વીકાર કરશો.
44 How are able you yourselves to believe glory from one another receiving and the glory that [is] from the only God not you seek?
૪૪તમે એકબીજાથી પ્રશંસા પામો છો, પણ જે પ્રશંસા એકલા ઈશ્વરથી છે તે તમે શોધતાં નથી, તો તમે વિશ્વાસ શી રીતે કરી શકો?
45 Not do think that I myself will accuse you to the Father; There is [one] accusing you Moses in whom you yourselves have hoped.
૪૫હું પિતાની આગળ તમારા પર દોષ મૂકીશ, એમ ન ધારો; તમારા પર દોષ મૂકનાર એક, એટલે મૂસા છે, તેના પર તમે ભરોસો રાખો છો.
46 If for you were believing in Moses, you were believing then would in Me myself; concerning for Me he wrote.
૪૬કેમ કે જો તમે મૂસા પર વિશ્વાસ કર્યો હોત, તો તમે મારા પર વિશ્વાસ કરત; કેમ કે તેણે મારે વિષે લખેલું છે.
47 If now in his writings not you believe, how in My declarations will you believe?
૪૭પણ જો તમે તેનાં લખેલાં વચન પર વિશ્વાસ નથી કરતા, તો મારી વાતો પર તમે કેમ વિશ્વાસ કરશો?’”
