John 21
1 After these things revealed Himself again Jesus to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; He revealed [Himself] now in this way.
੧ਬਾਅਦ ਵਿੱਚ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਪ ਨੂੰ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਉੱਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਗਟ ਕੀਤਾ। ਇਹ ਤਿਬਿਰਿਯਾਸ ਦੀ ਝੀਲ ਤੇ ਵਾਪਰਿਆ।
2 They were together Simon Peter, and Thomas who is being named Didymus, and Nathanael from Cana of Galilee, and the [sons] of Zebedee, and others of the disciples of Him two.
੨ਕੁਝ ਚੇਲੇ ਉੱਥੇ ਇਕੱਠੇ ਹੋਏ ਸਨ, ਉਹ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਪਤਰਸ, ਥੋਮਾ, ਜਿਹੜਾ ਕਿ ਦੀਦੁਮੁਸ ਅਖਵਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ਨਥਾਨਿਏਲ ਜੋ ਗਲੀਲ ਦੇ ਕਾਨਾ ਤੋਂ ਸੀ, ਜ਼ਬਦੀ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਦੋ ਹੋਰ ਸਨ।
3 Says to them Simon Peter; I am going to fish. They say to him; Come also we ourselves with you. They went forth and (they climbed *N+kO) into the boat (immediately *K) and during that [very] night they caught no [thing].
੩ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੈਂ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੜਨ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹਾਂ।” ਦੂਜੇ ਬਾਕੀ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਅਸੀਂ ਵੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਚੱਲਦੇ ਹਾਂ।” ਤਦ ਸਾਰੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਬੇੜੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਚੜ ਗਏ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਉਸ ਰਾਤ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਫ਼ੜਨ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ, ਪਰ ਉਹ ਕੋਈ ਮੱਛੀ ਨਾ ਫ਼ੜ ਸਕੇ।
4 When morning now already (having become *NK+o) stood Jesus on the shore; not however knew the disciples that Jesus it is.
੪ਸਵੇਰ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਖੜ੍ਹਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਹੀਂ ਪਤਾ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਯਿਸੂ ਸੀ।
5 Says therefore to them Jesus; Children, Surely not any fish have you? They answered to Him; No.
੫ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮਿੱਤਰੋ ਕੀ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਕੁਝ ਖਾਣ ਲਈ ਫੜਿਆ?” ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਨਹੀਂ।”
6 And He said to them; do cast to the right side of the boat the net and you will find [some]. They cast therefore, and no longer no longer it to haul in (were they able *N+kO) from the multitude of the fish.
੬ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਪਣਾ ਜਾਲ਼ ਬੇੜੀ ਦੇ ਸੱਜੇ ਪਾਸੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸੁੱਟੋ ਉੱਥੇ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੁਝ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਮਿਲਣਗੀਆਂ ਤਾਂ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੇ ਓਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਮਿਲੀਆਂ। ਜਾਲ਼ ਬਹੁਤ ਭਾਰਾ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਤੇ ਉਹ ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਬੇੜੀ ਵੱਲ ਖਿੱਚ ਨਾ ਸਕੇ।
7 Says therefore the disciple that [one] whom was loving Jesus to Peter; The Lord it is. Simon therefore Peter having heard that the Lord it is the outer garment put on he was for naked and he cast himself into the sea.
੭ਉਹ ਚੇਲਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਿਸੂ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਨੇ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੈ।” ਜਦ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਕਹਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਸੁਣਿਆ, “ਉਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੈ।” ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਕੱਪੜਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਆਲੇ-ਦੁਆਲੇ ਲਪੇਟ ਲਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਛਾਲ ਮਾਰ ਗਿਆ
8 And the other disciples in the boat came; not for were they far from the land but about away cubits two hundred dragging the net with the fish.
੮ਦੂਜੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਬੇੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਦੀ ਦੇ ਕੰਢੇ ਵੱਲ ਨੂੰ ਚਲੇ ਗਏ ਅਤੇ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਜਾਲ਼ ਖਿੱਚਣ ਲੱਗੇ। ਉਹ ਕੰਡੇ ਤੋਂ ਕੋਈ ਸੌ ਕੁ ਗਜ ਦੀ ਦੂਰੀ ਤੇ ਹੀ ਸਨ।
9 When therefore they got out onto the land, they see a fire of coals lying and fish lying on [it] and bread.
੯ਜਦੋਂ ਚੇਲੇ ਪਾਣੀ ਵਿੱਚੋਂ ਬਾਹਰ ਆਏ ਅਤੇ ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਤੇ ਪਹੁੰਚੇ, ਉੱਥੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਅੱਗ ਵੇਖੀ। ਇਸ ਉੱਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਮੱਛੀ ਅਤੇ ਰੋਟੀ ਪਈ ਸੀ।
10 Says to them Jesus; do bring [some] of the fish that you have caught now.
੧੦ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਉਹ “ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਲਿਆਓ ਜਿਹੜੀਆਂ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਹੁਣੇ ਫ਼ੜੀਆਂ ਹਨ।”
11 Went up (therefore *NO) Simon Peter and drew the net (to the land *N+kO) full of fish large a hundred fifty three; although so many there are not was torn the net.
੧੧ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਪਤਰਸ ਬੇੜੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਜਾਲ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਨਾਰੇ ਤੇ ਖਿੱਚ ਲਿਆਇਆ। ਇਹ, ਇੱਕ ਸੌ ਤਰਵਿੰਜਾ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਭਰਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ ਸੀ, ਭਾਵੇਂ ਮੱਛੀਆਂ ਬੜੀਆਂ ਵੱਡੀਆਂ ਸਨ, ਪਰ ਜਾਲ਼ ਤਾਂ ਵੀ ਨਾ ਟੁੱਟਿਆ।
12 Says to them Jesus; Come do have breakfast. None however was daring of the disciples to ask Him; You yourself who are? knowing that the Lord it is.
੧੨ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਆਓ ਤੇ ਆ ਕੇ ਖਾਵੋ।” ਕਿਸੇ ਚੇਲੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਪੁੱਛਣ ਦੀ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਸੀ, “ਕਿ ਤੂੰ ਕੌਣ ਹੈ?” ਉਹ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਸਨ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਹੈ।
13 Comes (therefore *K) Jesus and takes the bread and gives [it] to them and the fish likewise.
੧੩ਯਿਸੂ ਆਇਆ, ਰੋਟੀ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤੀ। ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਹੀ ਮੱਛੀ ਵੀ ਲਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਿੱਤੀ।
14 This [is] now [the] third time was revealed Jesus to the disciples (of him *k) having been raised out from [the] dead.
੧੪ਜੀ ਉੱਠਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇਹ ਤੀਜੀ ਵਾਰ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸ਼ਣ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਸੀ।
15 When therefore they had dined, says to Simon to Peter Jesus; Simon ([son] of John, *N+KO) love you Me more than these? He says to Him; Yes Lord, You yourself know that I dearly love You. He says to him; do feed the lambs of Mine.
੧੫ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਖਾ ਹਟਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ, ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸ਼ਮਊਨ, ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਕੀ ਜਿੰਨਾਂ ਪਿਆਰ ਇਹ ਲੋਕ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨਾਲੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ?” ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ, ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।” ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਲੇਲੇ ਚਾਰ।”
16 He says to him again a second time; Simon ([son] of John, *N+KO) love you Me? He says to Him; Yes Lord, You yourself know that I dearly love You. He says to him; do shepherd the sheep of Mine.
੧੬ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਫ਼ੇਰ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਹੇ ਸ਼ਮਊਨ ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੈਨੂੰ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈਂ?” ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਹਾਂ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੂੰ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈਂ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।” ਤਦ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਦੀ ਰਾਖੀ ਕਰ।”
17 He says to him the third time; Simon ([son] of John, *N+KO) do you dearly love Me? Was grieved Peter because He said to him the third time; Do you dearly love Me? And (he speaks *N+kO) to Him; Lord, all things You yourself know, You yourself know that I dearly love You. Says to him Jesus; do feed the sheep of Mine.
੧੭ਤੀਜੀ ਵਾਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਸ਼ਮਊਨ, ਯੂਹੰਨਾ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ?” ਪਤਰਸ ਉਦਾਸ ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਇਸ ਲਈ ਕਿ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਤੀਜੀ ਵਾਰ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ ਕਿ, “ਕੀ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹੈਂ।” ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਤੂੰ ਸਭ ਕੁਝ ਜਾਣਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰੀਤ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਹਾਂ।” ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੂੰ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰੀਆਂ ਭੇਡਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਾਰ।
18 Amen Amen I say to you; When you were younger, you were dressing yourself and were walking where you were desiring. when however you may be old, you will stretch forth the hands of you, and another you will dress and will bring [you] where not you do desire.
੧੮ਮੈਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਸੱਚ-ਸੱਚ ਆਖਦਾ ਜਦੋਂ ਤੂੰ ਜਵਾਨ ਸੀ ਤੂੰ ਲੱਕ ਦੁਆਲੇ ਪੇਟੀ ਬੰਨ੍ਹ ਕੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਜੀਅ ਕਰਦਾ ਤੂੰ ਤੁਰ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਸੀ, ਪਰ ਜਦ ਤੂੰ ਬੁੱਢਾ ਹੋਵੇਂਗਾ ਤੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਹੱਥ ਲੰਬੇ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਤੇਰੇ ਲੱਕ ਬੰਨ੍ਹੇਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਤੇਰਾ ਜੀਅ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰੇਗਾ ਜਾਣ ਨੂੰ ਉਹ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਉੱਥੇ ਲੈ ਜਾਵੇਗਾ।”
19 This now He said signifying by what death he will glorify God. And this having said He says to him; do follow Me.
੧੯ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਇਹ ਦੱਸਣ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ੁਰ ਦੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਮੌਤ ਮਰੇਗਾ। ਅਤੇ ਇਹ ਕਹਿ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਆਖਿਆ, “ਮੇਰੇ ਮਗਰ ਹੋ ਤੁਰ।”
20 Having turned (now *k) Peter sees the disciple whom was loving Jesus following who also had reclined at the supper on the bosom of Him and said; Lord, who is it who is betraying You?
੨੦ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਕਿ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਿਸੂ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਚੇਲਾ ਪਿਛੇ ਆ ਰਿਹਾ ਸੀ। ਇਹ ਉਹ ਚੇਲਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਉਸ ਰਾਤ ਦੇ ਖਾਣੇ ਵੇਲੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਵੱਲ ਝੁਕਿਆ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ “ਪ੍ਰਭੂ, ਤੈਨੂੰ ਦੁਸ਼ਮਣਾਂ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਕੌਣ ਫ਼ੜਵਾਏਗਾ?”
21 Him (therefore *NO) having seen Peter says to Jesus; Lord, this man and what about?
੨੧ਜਦੋਂ ਪਤਰਸ ਨੇ ਉਸ ਚੇਲੇ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਛੋਂ ਆਉਂਦਿਆਂ ਦੇਖਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ, “ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਜੀ ਇਸ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਤੁਹਾਡਾ ਕੀ ਖਿਆਲ ਹੈ? ਇਸ ਦਾ ਕੀ ਹੋਵੇਗਾ?”
22 Says to him Jesus; If him I shall desire to remain until I come, what [is it] to you? You yourself Me do follow.
੨੨ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਉੱਤਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ, “ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹਵਾਂ ਕਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੱਕ ਉਹ ਠਹਿਰੇ, ਤਾਂ ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕੀ? ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਛੇ ਹੋ ਤੁਰ।”
23 Went out therefore this saying among the brothers that the disciple that not dies; (and *k) Not said (however *no) to him Jesus that not he dies, but If him I shall desire to remain until I come, what [is it] to you?
੨੩ਤਾਂ ਇਹ ਗੱਲ ਚੇਲਿਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਫ਼ੈਲ ਗਈ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਚੇਲਾ ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਯਿਸੂ ਬਹੁਤ ਪਿਆਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਓਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰੇਗਾ। ਪਰ ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹ ਨਹੀਂ ਮਰੇਗਾ। ਸਗੋਂ ਅਸਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਖਿਆ ਸੀ, “ਜੇ ਮੈਂ ਚਾਹਵਾਂ ਮੇਰੇ ਆਉਣ ਤੱਕ ਓਹ ਜੀਵੇ ਤਾਂ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਕੀ?”
24 This is the disciple who is bearing witness concerning these things and (the [one] *no) having written these things, and we know that true of him the testimony is.
੨੪ਇਹ ਉਹ ਚੇਲਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਦਿੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅਤੇ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਇਹ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਲਿਖੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਅਸੀਂ ਜਾਣਦੇ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਗਵਾਹੀ ਸੱਚੀ ਹੈ।
25 There are now also other things many (that *N+kO) did Jesus which if they shall be written every one, not even itself I suppose the world (to have space *NK+o) for the to be written books. (Amen *KO)
੨੫ਯਿਸੂ ਨੇ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੰਮ ਕੀਤੇ। ਜੇ ਉਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਇੱਕ-ਇੱਕ ਕਰਕੇ ਲਿਖੇ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਤਾਂ ਮੈਂ ਸਮਝਦਾ ਹਾਂ ਕਿ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਪੁਸਤਕਾਂ ਲਿਖੇ ਜਾਣ ਲਈ ਸ਼ਾਇਦ ਸਾਰਾ ਜਗਤ ਵੀ ਘੱਟ ਹੁੰਦਾ।
